Sam Keith: Our goal with COTT as a brand as to be the premier independent force around the world. We must continue to show ourselves. We our a force that the big boys notice, and we must either work, or beat them! Thank you.

The room of about 50 or so wrestlers and Staff members working for the 5 COTT promotions. Sam Keith shakes a few members hands as he tries to head out.

TOMEmbm.jpgVBtPynS.jpg

Unfortunately, the small but fierce Troy Winner came up to Sam, with a seemingly distracted Sayeed Ali behind him.

Troy: “Well whadda you know. Sam Keith, stealing the show!”

The small man shakes Sam Keith's hand, even if Sam needs to bend down a little.

Sam: “Thanks Troy. You guys have done really good this year.”

Troy: “Why thank you! It wouldn't have been done without this man! Come here Ali!”

Sayeed startles but shakes Sam Keith’s hand.

Troy: “We wouldn't mind if you bring him in for your Invitational thing!”

Sayeed: “Yeah, if you want, I would like to come in. I felt I did alright a few years ago.

Sam: “You did really good. You impressed me for sure, and yeah, I'll bring you in.”

Sayeed: “Thanks man.”

Sam and Sayeed shake hands again. Sam finally gets out the door. He has a few calls to make, as by the end of the month he holds the Rip Chord Invitational, the most prestigious tournament on the entire Independent Scene. Even if MAW isn't the biggest promotion in North America, Sam Keith knows his place, and he knows it well.

I gotta admit I’m an MAW fan as well, seeing it is everything SWF and the like are not. Good luck and have fun I’ll be reading along

Rip Chord Finale: Ali vs. Fforde

I probably should be going with Fforde here but I like being a rebel and not picking the home territory guy

Also and big fan of MAW (I always have at least one MAW save going). I love that you made the RCIT a COTT tournament, it is something I always do as well. Though it means that I take a massive loss in revenue during the first month.

The Rip Chord Invitational Tournament

Rip Chord Finale: Wolfe vs Fforde

Semi Finale 1: Architect vs Fforde

Semi Finale 2: Wolfe vs Blaze

The Architect vs Jonnie Perez (CZCW)

I really want to pick Jonnie here but I am assuming he is the fan favorite here and because I picked Miller to win the next match, I do not want face vs face.

Andrew Harper (NYCW) vs Miller Fforde

George Wolfe vs Josh Jacobs

Bradley Blaze vs Sayeed Ali (4C)

Picking both Wolfe and Ali seems like the right call but I am assuming they are both heels in their respective matches so I am going to go with Blaze.

Non Tournament matches

Greg Gauge vs Cheetah Boy for the MAW Championship

The Dynamite Express (Cameron Jones and Syd Collier) vs The Frat Pack (Hal Harvard and Jonah Pilgrim)

I despise Hal Harvard. I hate his terrible render, I hate his stupid backstory. Yes I know it does not sound rational to hate a fictional character, but I do.:D

Ade Nelson, Copperhead, and Deuce Deadline vs Keith Vegas, Nate DeMarcus and Tyrone Gray

Deuce always ends up being a huge pain in the ass to deal with so screw him and his team. :D

<p><em>The Rip Chord Invitational wasn't the best but was very successful. I have high hopes for a lot of my stars. Besides that, Last night I made a deal with Eric Tyler, a good friend of mine. His name will be on a new tournament that I created. The Prospect Series. A 2 Month tournament of 2 Triple Threat matches which leads to a One on One match for the trophy. In return, Eric gets to pick the winner of the tournament. Putting Eric Tyler’s name on it means that the tournament will be a bigger deal. Anyway, here is the card for MAW Wrestling Classic:</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>MAW Championship Match: <strong>Greg Gauge ©</strong> vs Roderick Remus </p><p>

Greg just won the belt from Roderick in what was supposed to be a hell of a match, Roderick is just coming back from a concussion that made him miss the RCI. This should be a good opportuntiy for Greg to get a good win and get him firmly established -- he is your best hand after all.</p><p> </p><p>

COTT Heavyweight Championship Match:<strong> Nicholas Lopez ©</strong> vs Miller Fforde </p><p>

Fforde couldn't win the RCI, no way he is beating Lopez.</p><p> </p><p>

MAW American Championship: <strong>Hal Harvard ©</strong> vs ??? (A Non MAW Star….)</p><p> </p><p>

</strong></p><p>

Prospect Series: <strong>Logan Wolfsbaine </strong>vs. Penfold Perdition vs. Gidayu Katou</p><p>

Wolfsbaine/Diaz is the best American prospect in this series, so he should win his match -- though Katou could be a formidable opponent. Perdition is clearly there to just job, because he's Perdition!</p>

Marvin: Welcome to MAW: Wrestling Classic. Tonight. 4 Championships are on the line. Plus, the first round of The Eric Tyler Prospect Series. Lets get right to the action.

pHKxW1S.jpgmTsYPH0.jpgez6lArf.jpg

In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Logan Wolfsbaine defeated Penfold Perdition and Gidayu Katou in 10:23 when Logan Wolfsbaine defeated Gidayu Katou by submission with a Boston Crab. (37)

Marvin: What a great Match!

Ernest: The power of Logan is incredible. He has the skills to go far in MAW.

Marvin: Same thing with Katou. He looked really good.

Ernest: Ehh, Im not sure. He has the heart but I don't see enough skill. Same with Penfold.

crFgy5t.jpgIUvMzZl.jpgiRD5C54.jpg

In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Seth Whitehead defeated Felipe Caballero and Sterling Whitlock in 7:33 when Seth Whitehead defeated Sterling Whitlock by submission with a Minnesota Stretch. (32)

Ernest: All three men here looked like they could've won it.

Marvin: Yeah, I don't like Seth’s chances against Logan. Logan is just a better wrestler all together.

pHKxW1S.jpgcrFgy5t.jpg

A freestyle segment called 'Logan Wolfsbaine and Seth Whitehead have a stare off before next months match' (32)

Ernest: The goal for Seth here is to get Logan to the ground and submit him. He cant go toe to toe as Logan is better in that category then him.

Marvin: Great Analysis!

Ernest: Thank you. It's my job.

Marvin: Now here comes Hal Harvard, the MAW American Champion and his assistant, Jonah Pilgrim.

Ernest: This bumbling fool. Can't wait till his ass gets kicked.

6750XxR.jpgzZfoqLD.jpg

*Boos overshadow The Frat Pack as they enter the ring*

Hal: I assure you, I have seen this before. You Virginia scum boo me as I defeat your heroes. Tonight is no different. Tonight. I, Hal Harvard, issue an Open Challenge to any wrestler in the locker room. I will even put my Championship on the line! Who dare challenge me!

JEmc1jK.jpg

The music of Mana, Oye Mi Amor plays throughout the small arena to the cheers of the audience. Gino Montero steps out and walks to the ring. (31)

Marvin: WOW. Gino Montero in a MAW Ring.

Ernest: Man I hate Gino. He bounces around the ring to much.

Marvin: That's the point. Hes exciting!

Ernest: I might be forced to cheer Hal on…

6750XxR.jpgJEmc1jK.jpg

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Hal Harvard defeated Gino Montero in 10:12 by pinfall with a Forward Russian Legsweep. Hal Harvard makes defence number 4 of his Mid Atlantic American title. (44)

Ernest: Ill give Gino credit. He gave it his all.

Marvin: Both men really stepped it up this match. An exciting one as well!

Ernest: Maybe if Gino would stop going to the top rope then I’d actually like him.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, The Dynamite Express defeated Bradley Blaze and Cheetah Boy in 12:34 when Cameron Jones defeated Bradley Blaze by pinfall with a Chop And Change. The Dynamite Express make defence number 12 of their Mid Atlantic Tag Team titles. (41)

Ernest: The Dynamite Express keep proving they can take on anyone.

Marvin: Cheetah Boy did look weaker than usual. Maybe it’s because of last months encounter with Greg Gauge.

Ernest: Whatever is going on. He needs to fix it soon.

vFQA2tk.jpgjI8oUI2.jpg

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Nicolas Lopez defeated Miller Fforde in 15:09 by pinfall with a Lopez Buster. Nicolas Lopez makes defence number 8 of his COTT World Heavyweight title. (42)

Marvin: Whenever Nicholas Lopez steps into the ring, he has an aura to him, that is electrified every time he makes a defense of his title.

Ernest: Yes. Lopez is just a wrestling god while Miller is still a developing prospect.

A freestyle segment called 'Angle with Greg Gauge, Roderick Remus' (25)

Marvin: This rivalry has gone on for 9+ Months. These two hate each other with a dying passion. Who will go on the record books as the winner of this heated feud! Let's find out.

hm5CA9b.jpgQFjALsW.jpg

In a decent match, Greg Gauge defeated Roderick Remus in 20:47 by submission with a Proton Lock. Greg Gauge makes defence number 3 of his Mid Atlantic Championship title. (47)

Marvin: Wow

Ernest: What a great match.

Marvin: Both men just burned the house down

Ernest: Now that Gauge just bea-

Marvin: What a sick man!

Ernest: Listen I support George. He has always wanted to do this and tried to get me to do it for him. I support him for as long as long as he is around.

Marvin: But does that mean he can attack the Bosses son?!

Ernest: He is the champion and with that honor he expects to have challengers.

Marvin: But whatever is the case. This is absolutely ridiculous. We will see what happens next month. See you around folks.

Show Rating: 38 (We upped the production up a bit but not all the way.)

I like it and was surprised to see Gino in the ring with Harvard. Too bad Hal had to win. I like so many I’ve heard before have a dislike for Harvard. He has go away heat for some reason

Good first couple of shows. I missed the predictions for this last one but I’ll try not to miss the next ones.

Today I have begun a process I hate dearly. Cutting season. It's a yearly time where I let a few guys go. This year I plan on letting go 4 Guys. 3 have already been cut. First was Ade Nelson. No offense to him as I love him dearly, but he is a very average entertainer. He doesnt fit here. I told Cliff over at CZCW to bring him back as I felt he would be a good fit over there. I wished him well and he headed off no complaints. Next came Deuce Deadline. He is, like Ade, a very average entertainer who is more of a brawler than an all around guy. I feel PSW or NYCW would fit him well. He was a little angry but understood when I told him where to go next. Next was a personal friend of mine. Keith Vegas. Vegas was a pet project of Rip Chord. But he just is OK, nothing more. I wished him well and told him I'm interested in re-signing him soon, if he improves on the Indy scene. Finally, I brought in the last guy.

“Copperhead. Take a seat… Now I assume you know why you’re here…”

“Yes...yes I do.”

“You've had a good run. But you have not improved to the MAW standard.”

“....”

“We would love to have you back soon…”

“...I understand.”

“Thank yo-”

“But I want one more chance. One more shot to prove my worth to you. If I don't I’ll leave but please give me this opportunity.”

“...”

“I will play any gimmick and i'll let anyone pin me. Just let me show you I can do it!”

“...You know what? I like that attitude. The other 3 that I just let go didn't fight back or show any spirit. You're different. And yes, I'll keep you.”

“Thank you sir, I won't let you down.”

We shook hands and he left. I was honest in what I told him. He can do great things if he pushes himself. Anyway. Here is the card for MAW: Super Showdown.

MAW Championship: Greg Gauge © vs George Wolfe

Roderick Remus vs Miller Fforde

MAW Tag Team Championships: The Dynamite Express © vs The Heartbreak Express

MAW American Championship: Hal Harvard © vs Josh Jacobs

The Eric Tyler Prospect Series Finales: Logan Wolfsbaine vs Seth Whitehead

Copperhead vs The Architect

Historian gets the perfect 6! Congrats! I'm going to introduce prediction prizes in the coming in-game months

Thank you. Hal is someone who I am planning on bringing in more light on.

MAW Championship: Greg Gauge © vs George Wolfe

Not sure what it is about old George Wolfe. Maybe I just haven’t seen him pushed much but he seems very ordinary to me. Would love to see what he could do as he generally puts on pretty good matches. Maybe he needs a manager

Roderick Remus vs Miller Fforde

Remus should remain in the upper card so I see him getting the win against the young Miller

MAW Tag Team Championships: The Dynamite Express © vs The Heartbreak Express

Two good tag teams here with the young Heartbreakers against the tough veteran duo. I’ll take the vets but they need to watch out for the other Express

MAW American Championship: Hal Harvard © vs Josh Jacobs

Ok I’ll look watch for what’s coming to good old Hal

The Eric Tyler Prospect Series Finales: Logan Wolfsbaine vs Seth Whitehead

Most love Logan and it’s understandable but Whitehead has some talent to be very useful. Both are very young and have their best years in front of them

Copperhead vs The Architect

Arch made the finals of the Rip so he should have some decent mo. Again will be curious to see how Copperhead comes along. Maybe a repackaging would help him

This is just ridiculous. </p><p> </p><p> 'Angle with Greg Gauge, George Wolfe' <strong>(40)</strong></p><p> </p><p> Marvin: While security get rid of Remus out of the arena, what do you think of this matchup Ernest? </p><p> Ernest: Well, I know Wolfe the best out of anyone, and I know this is going to be a tough fight for him. He is very inexperienced compared to Gauge. But he is the most powerful fighter out of anyone in MAW and maybe in all of Pro Wrestling. If this stays standing then Wolfe wins. If this goes to the ground and Gauge can work his ground game, then sadly for Wolfe, Gauge will win. </p><p> Marvin: Well we will see. As that match up starts, right now!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="rExzaTr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rExzaTr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="hm5CA9b.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hm5CA9b.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> In a decent match, George Wolfe defeated Greg Gauge in 22:48 by pinfall with a Running Powerslam. George Wolfe wins the Mid Atlantic Championship title. <strong>(47)</strong></p><p> </p><p> Marvin: In what might be a MOTY Match, George Wolfe just got his biggest win in his career.</p><p> Ernest: What a strong showing from both men, but what like I said. The Power of Wolfe is undeniable and it was the reason why he won.</p><p> Marvin: What an incredible run by Gauge….</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="rExzaTr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rExzaTr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> A freestyle segment called 'George Wolfe celebrates his victory with his new championship' <strong>(51)</strong></p><p> </p><p> Marvin: But we have a new King of The Mountain here in MAW, and he plans to be the king for the long haul. <p><em>Super Showdown was a success. George Wolfe is really becoming a star. Our next event is MAW: Americana. I'm setting up one of our top events in a few months, The Sam Keith Classic. It will be the most costly event of the year and will involve multiple tag teams around the COTT. I mean, I'm very disappointed that Wolfe is the champion. I'm not a George Wolfe guy at all.</p><p> </p><p>

I don't want Perdition to win a match. Ever.</p>
