Happy New Year w/ Jack & Ricky DeColt

MN5p9rp.jpg7tdfwGJ.jpg

[Title Bout Wrestling opens with Jack & Ricky DeColt already in the ring with the fans cheering their beloved heroes. Both men hold microphones with Jack holding the CGC World Title over his shoulder.]

JD:
And that is what it’s all about. Coming out here, and getting into this ring to the sound of you fans. You’ve been so supportive of our family, and of this great company. And for that we can’t thank you enough.

RD:
We’ve travelled the world, but being here in our home country wrestling for the company our father built is better than any thing else.

JD:
And now… To address the elephant in the room. We are fully aware there have been some rumours going around that the DeColt family isn’t as strong as we once were. The rumours that we’re not on the same page, that we’re not getting along, that there is some sort of bitter family feud going on. That’s why me and my brother are out here right now. We’re out here to put that garbage to rest.

RD:
The DeColt family bond is stronger than ever. We… Are stronger than ever. Our brother Alex is doing god’s work in the front office working tirelessly every day to bring you fans the best professional wrestling in this country. Jack here proudly wears the CGC World Title, and he defends that title against any and all comers.

JD:
Our cousin Ian DeColt who is making his name here week after week, and of course Ricky who has gone from strength to strength… I don’t know where I’d be without my brother Ricky. So as far as any family feud goes… We’re here to tell you that it’s a bunch of hogwash. The DeColt Family will continue to bring you fans what you’ve come to love about our family, and this company. Truth… Honour… Respect… And Values.

RD:
And to go one step further, right here tonight in the main event, my brother and I are going to show you just how strong our bond is when we team up to take on Ryan Powell, and that dastardly Antonio Del Veccio.

[The fans pop to the announcement of the main event as the DeColt music blares out of the sound system, and they mount opposite corners to a chorus of cheers as we head into our first commercial break.]

CGC Canadian Championship

Blockbuster © vs Whippy The Clown

In our opening contest, Blockbuster defends his Canadian Title against veteran Whippy The Clown. The match starts out slow with Whippy having the upper hand using his far superior skill to work over the champ. the thing with Blockbuster though is if he’s able to wrap you up, he can use his unprecedented power to keep his opponent at bay which is what happens here. Using a combination of power moves, and rather painful looking holds, Blockbuster is able to control the bulk of the match with Whippy mounting mini comebacks only to be cut-off at every turn.

Whippy finds an opening and looks primed to become Canadian champ when from out of nowhere, and for no apparent reason, Thrill Seeker hits the ring blasting Whippy with a flying knee while the referee tends to a fallen Blockbuster. Seeker is out of the ring and Blockbuster is on the pin. He gets the 3-count, and retains his gold.

Winner:
Blockbuster via Interference From Thrill Seeker

[blockbuster leaves victorious leaving Seeker sliding back into the ring to survey his handy work. Whippy is slow to get up. Seeker looks primed to strike, stalking Whippy as he tries to get back to his feet. Whippy turns, and for the second time Seeker blasts Whippy with a flying knee that catches him square on the jaw knocking him out. Seeker sports a grin on his face as he slinks out of the ring, and makes his way up the entrance. Whippy is out cold as we head to commercial break.]

Come Sit Under The Learning Tree

[We see the monster Gargantuan backstage with his new valet Jenny Playmate. He looks as menacing as ever, and especially huge when standing next to the petit Playmate. From just outside of view, Dan DaLay enters and the two men have a bit of a stare down, Gargantuan not at all pleased that DaLay is in front of him.]

DD:
Now just hold on a second there big man. I ain’t here to ruffle feathers. I’m here because I see we got ourselves an opportunity here. You got yourself all the tools to be a world champion, and you’ve been a world champion. Problem is there are folks who say you don’t deserve your spot. You don’t deserve to be where you are… I’m not one of those people. You are what this business was meant to be. You’re not just a monster, you’re THE monster. But my man, you need guidance. So here I am. I want to be your guiding light, I want to make it so that when you get that world title back, you ain’t ever gonna lose it. All you gotta do… Is let me in.

[DaLay shuffles to the right, and outstretches his hand inviting Gargantuan to join with him. Gargantuan looks at DaLay… Nods his head slowly, and walks with DaLay, symbolizing these two have joined together.]

CGC Tag Team Championship

The Predators © vs Zeus & Stevie

Our next contest see the CGC Tag Team Championship being defended. The immensely popular team of Zeus & Stevie open it up with fast paced action from Stevie mixed with power throws, and suplexes from Zeus. The Predators are able to isolate Stevie however, and work him over cutting off the ring in the process leaving a frustrated Zeus left on the apron. Stevie finds an opening, and gets the tag to Zeus who is in like a ball of fire taking out both champs. He tags back in Stevie who hits the top rope, prepping for A Touch Of Grayson. However, Warren Technique blasts Zeus from behind while Nathan Black is up, and climbing the top to meet Grayson. Black hits a Double-Underhook Superplex on Grayson, and gets the 3-count to retain the titles.

Winners:
The Predators retain via Double-Underhook Superplex

A Piece Of Advice

MN5p9rp.jpgNLeLMXH.jpg

[Jack is in his locker room prepping for tonights main event when cousin Ian DeColt walks in.]

ID:
Jack… I need some advice. I’ve got a really big match tonight… And when I say really big, I mean Prometheus big. I know you’ve been in there with him, and you gave him his first and only loss. What do I do here?

JD:
You want my advice… It’s real simple. The bigger they are… The harder they fall. He may be big, but you’re lighting quick, use your speed, and the fact that you come from the finest wrestling family this country has ever produced, you’re going to take this one. And don’t worry, if things go sideways, we’re family, I got your back no matter what. But you don’t need me.

[They shake hands, and Ian leaves Jack to continue prepping as we go to commercial break.]

Joey Poison w/Faith vs Skip Beau w/Drake Young

In a match that didn’t last too long, Joey Poison made quick work of Skip using a plethora of underhanded tactics to get the win in this one. More important than the match itself is the way Poison treated his valet Faith throughout, yelling and screaming at her, demanding she stand in certain spots, and that she never take her eyes off the ring. The match ended when Poison hit a Poison Kiss and scored the win.

Winner:
Joey Poison via The Poison Kiss (Double-Arm DDT)

Ian DeColt vs Prometheus

A true David & Goliath story here with the towering Prometheus matched up again Ian DeColt. DeColt takes head of Jacks earlier advice by using his speed to stay out ahead of the giant who is trying to wrap him up. If Prometheus is able to do that, tis one will be over quickly. DeColt continues with his speed but his inexperience shows through as he mistakenly gets caught in the corner with Prometheus closing the distance. He finally catches Ian and begins to bludgeon him in the corner. The referee warns Prometheus to let him out, but powerful strike after powerful strike send Ian crumbling to the mat. Prometheus pays no mind to the referees warning, and is disqualified while he continues his relentless assault on a prone Ian.

Winner:
Ian DeColt via DQ after Prometheus pummelling.

[Jack hits the ring to save Ian, but before Jack can get to him, Prometheus uncharacteristically leaves. He pays to attention to a fired up Jack who challenges the giant to get back in the ring. Prometheus just walks off leaving the DeColts in the ring as we head to commercial break.]

Who Do You Think You’re Talking To

iEMSqoV.jpgzbHIH2R.jpgJm4RSD0.jpg

[We see Faith standing stoically still in a darkened hallway. Donte Dunn see’s her, and goes to her. He looks concerned.]

DD:
Faith… Eh… Faith, you ok gal? Why you jus standin ‘ere fah?

[Faith doesn’t move, a blank expression on his face as she stares off into nothing. Dunn puts his hand on her shoulder as Joey Poison enters the scene.]

JP:
What do you think you’re doing here? You don’t tough her… No one touches her. No one ever touches her but me, you hear me.

[Poison grabs Faith and rushes her away from Dunn who stands still looking concerned as we head back to ringside.]

Jack DeColt & Ricky DeColt vs Ryan Powell & Antonio Del Veccio

It’s time for our main event. The DeColts team up in a show of unity to face Ryan Powell & Antonio Del Veccio who both have had their issues with The DeColts recently. The match starts as most do when The DeColts are involved… With them on the upper hand. Both Jack & Ricky take turns getting the up on both of their opponents. A moment of circumstance finds Powell the opening to cut off Jack, and the heels take the opportunity to keep the World champ grounded. They cut off the ring expertly, especially for a team that hasn’t worked together before.

Jack tries desperately to get to Ricky who reaches for the tag at every opening, but is constantly cut down by either of their opponents before the tag can be made. Del Veccio uses his technical prowess to stretch the champ while Powell saunters around a fallen Jack strutting his ego. This give Jack the opening he needs to hit a desperation back suplex and he starts the crawl to his brother. The tag is made!

Ricky is in, and is teeing off on both Powell & Del Veccio. The isolates Powell by nailing Del Veccio off the apron with a Superkick. Ricky is primed. Ricky is ready. Ricky is waiting for Powell to get to his feet. Powell turns and eats a Superkick of his own. ricky is on the pin ,a dn gets the 3-count securing the win for his team.

Winners:
Jack & Ricky DeColt via Superkick

Not So Unified After All

MN5p9rp.jpg7tdfwGJ.jpg

[The DeColt Boys celebrate their win. The fans shower the boys in cheers as they perch the corners, and soak in the admiration from the people. Jack & Ricky meet centre of the ring, and strike a pose for the camera with Jack holding his CGC World title high in the air, and Ricky subtlety looking at him while he does it.

Shockingly, as Jack turns to leave, Ricky plants Jack with a Superkick, and the crowd is stunned. Ricky stands over his brother, staring down at him. He is emotionless looking down at his brother, and then the title belt crumpled next to him. Ricky stands silent with the fans cheering turned to boos as the show fades out.]

1994. That’s when I first met The DeColt Family. That was my first tenure with Canadian Golden Combat. That was when I first cut my teeth in this business I’ve spent the majority of my life being apart of. I was the perfect foil for all of those DeColt boys back then. I was splitting double duty between CGC and DAVE for a couple years.

TX15UKW.jpgG1qIIgy.jpg

I had to make a decision because I was starting a family, and I needed to ensure I was able to provide. In 1999, with the blessing of George DeColt, I took a full time position with DAVE. As with most good things, it came to an end.

kKLbLQN.jpgu9BpPuW.jpg

I was left unemployed, and unable to provide for my family. George DeColt called. He asked me if I was interested in making my return. He didn’t have to do that. I spent the last two years of my in-ring career working with some of the finest talent in the country, specifically Shooter Sean Deeley who I still consider a friend in a business where you don’t make many. I was able to go out on my own terms and spent a couple years at home resting my body.

DpXPsaT.jpgKPaUcX7.jpg

I’d always wanted to transition to a career behind the curtain. When Mitch Naess opened up PSW, I was given the opportunity to learn from Mitch what he had learned from Phil. I split time between being on-screen as a mouth-piece, and behind the scenes as an agent, and also as a someone who trained up a lot of the younger guys to prime them for the spotlight in front a of crowd notorious for chewing up, and spitting out anyone who wasn’t up to snuff. I thought I was really on top of my game. I was getting the results that Mitch was looking for, I was delivering on the stick every month, putting over guys who in a lot of ways didn’t deserve the limelight but because of the environment were able to thrive.

Then I was fired… No explanation. I was stunned. Most people who get fired are stunned. Here I am a 55 year old man who all I’ve ever done is work in the wrestling business, and here I sat unemployed. Then I get that call.

wS3NMZY.jpgkKLbLQN.jpgM8jaLYZ.jpg

I’ve known, and been friends with Alex DeColt my entire career. Even when I was away from CGC, I kept in touch with Alex because we shared an unspoken bond that to this day we can’t quite seem to explain. We just get each other. So when I caught wind that Alex was put in charge of CGC when George retired, I wasn’t surprised.

This surprised me.

Alex… Who is notoriously self reliant… Called and offered me a job behind the scenes in CGC. The mounting pressure of the other big Canadian company NOTBPW, declining CGC business, and what I can only imagine as real awkward dinner conversation at that weekly DeColt family Sunday dinner had really taken its toll on Alex who was trying to bring business back around on his own.

It was divine intervention, and an opportunity I wouldn’t pass up. And it’s an opportunity I wouldn’t let go of again. A lot of people say that DAVE is my home… A lot of people say PSW is my home because of the obvious ties to DAVE… CGC is my home. It’s where I started… It’s where I finished… And now, it’s where I’ll work alongside a family I respect to bring back to the forefront of Professional Wrestling.

Out From The Shadows

7tdfwGJ.jpgM8jaLYZ.jpgNLeLMXH.jpg

[Our show starts much like last week with Ricky DeColt in the ring, the only difference being instead of cheers, he’s out to a chorus of boos.]

RD:
If I cared what people thought about me, I’d still be playing fourth string in my family pecking order. You can boo me all you like, I just don’t care anymore. I’ve spent my entire life begging for my fathers respect. Never had it. I wanted to be equal to my brothers. Always on the outside looking in. Always the black sheep. Always the one that was too small. Always the one that wasn’t as talented. Meanwhile here in this ring, I wrestle circles around my entire family. I am the black sheep of my family, and it’s time that I come out of the shadows, and take my place in this business…

[Alex DeColt starts walking down towards the ring. He’s not angry, but he does look disappointed.]

AD:
What’s going on here Ricky? We’re DeColt’s. We don’t do this kind of nonsense. We have our issues, we settle our issues, we don’t cheap shot each other.

RD:
Is that what “we” do Alex? We “settle” our issues Alex. Why don’t you ask Steve about how we settle our issues.

[There is a simmering tension in the arena. The fans a listening intently. Alex & Ricky come near nose-to-nose before Ian DeColt rushes out to the ring to get between the two.]

ID:
Alex… I know you want to take on Ricky right now… Let me do it for you. I fight for this family. And I challenge Ricky to a match right here tonight!

[Ricky nods his head, and slinks out of the ring. Alex and Ian stand side-by-side in the ring as we go to commercial break.]

Before he has the chance to speak to her and see if she is alright, an enraged Joey Poison is in view, and on Dunn. Raining down blows to Dunn as Faith stands with the same absent look on her face. DaLay stands back looking rather pleased with the result as Gargantuan demolishes Price with a devastating Powerbomb. Gargantuan stands over Price with DaLay pleased outside the ring as we go to commercial break.]

I Fight For Family

NLeLMXH.jpgM8jaLYZ.jpg

[Alex is in his office, he looks concerned. Ian walks in looking determined.]

ID:
Alex, I know you’re conflicted because this is a family issue, but let me fight for the family. Ricky turned his back on Jack last week, and if we’re going to stick together, then we need to show Ricky that his jealousy isn’t going to break us. That’s why I want to stand up for you, and for Jack, and for George, and get in that ring tonight. Ricky is great, don’t get me wrong. I know I’m new to this game compared to Ricky, but I’m going to give him the fight of his life. I’m going to prove to you, and to everyone else that I belong, that I deserve to be a DeColt.

[Alex doesn’t say a word, but he takes in Ians passionate speech. They shake hands before Ian leaves Alex’s office.]

Skip Beau w/Drake Young vs Thrill Seeker

Skip is back in action this week looking to turn things around against Thrill Seeker. Things go Skip’s way early on with Seeker being cut off at every turn. A minor opening gives Seeker the up and he starts to dismantle Skip using his speed. Skip manages to fight back somewhat but Seeker from out of nowhere lands his patented flying knee knocking Skip clean out. Seeker gets the pin, and the win.

Winner:
Thrill Seeker via Flying Knee

[Whippy the Clown is out almost immediately and is on Thrill Seeker like a house on fire. He clothesline’s Seeker out of the ring. Whippy is jacked up, and the fans are behind him! Whippy wants to fight, Seeker however limps away up the entrance and to the back as we head into commercial.]

The Dirty White Boys vs The New Soldiers Of Fortune

This match from the jump had wild brawl written all over it. Two bruiser tag teams met here both of who are so evenly matched, it’s hard to tell who had the upper hand at all during this match. Where one team had the advantage, the opposition had an answer. this one came to a close when The DWB’s went Full Throttle on Destiny to pick up the win.

Winner:
The Dirty White Boys via Full Throttle

Better Late Than Never

[We are sent outside the arena where a car drives up suspiciously late. CGC World Champion Jack DeColt is the driver, and he is heading into the building. A camera man kinda stops him, and asks why he is arriving so late.]

JD:
Alex told me to stay home, Alex said he would handle Ricky… I’ve been watching from the hotel, and he didn’t handle a damn thing. I’m here to teach my little brother what respect is all about.

[Jack blows past the camera man, and seemingly towards the ring as we cut to commercial.]

Ian DeColt vs Ricky DeColt

It’s time for our main event of the evening. Ian fights for the family, Ricky fights for his “misplaced’ respect in this battle of the DeColt Cousins. Evenly matched to start with some slick chain wrestling as the two go back and forth with Ricky getting a slight advantage more due to experience than anything else. Ian tries to switch gears, and brawl with Ricky who stays right there with him, again using his experience causing Ian to make mistakes where Ricky takes advantage.

Ricky works over Ian with Ian trying to find any opening he can only to be brought back down by Ricky. Ricky shows his ego throughout the match not taking Ian seriously at all, almost angry at Ian’s blatant disrespect at a time Ricky is demanding respect from his family. There is also the appearance of Jack hanging over the arena with the fans wondering if he’ll at ringside soon.

Ricky showboats one to many times allowing Ian the chance to take control using the one thing he has over Ricky… His youth, and explosiveness. Firing off shots to Ricky, Ian looks primed for the victory when there a is a commotion coming from the entrance way. People assume it’s Jack heading to the ring when its actually the giant Prometheus who is rumbling towards ringside. Ian takes his eyes off the ball for a minute to catch Prometheus walking down the entrance.

Ricky is up, and behind Ian, setting up a Superkick waiting for Ian to turn, and face him. Ian turns, but evades the attack and hits The Identifier on Ricky! The fans are losing it as Ian makes the cover. Prometheus is up distracting the referee. Ian goes to confront the giant giving Ricky the chance to recover. Ian turns, and is blasted by a Superkick which catches him square. Ricky makes the pin, and gets the win.

Winner:
Ricky DeColt via Superkick

Family Values

MN5p9rp.jpgM8jaLYZ.jpg7tdfwGJ.jpgrttnbcU.jpg

[Prometheus joins Ricky in the ring signifying what looks like a partnership between the two much to the fans dismay. Commotion is coming from the entrance way again, and we see what has taken Jack so long to get out to ringside as he is being help off by a number of security guards. He is marching down towards the ring anyway when Alex DeColt comes ruching out from the back and gets in Jack’s way. They exchange words as Ricky smirks in the ring with Prometheus at his side. Jack wants at Ricky, and Alex won’t let it happen. They shout at each other as the show ends and goes off the air.]

I knew as soon as he landed that something was up. One of those freak accidents you hear about but rarely see. A simple clothesline out to the floor, probably had done it hundreds of times throughout his career. this time something went a little bit different, and now Thrill Seeker is on the shelf for the next three months. It may not seem like much, but in the world of television production, out of sight.... Out of mind which is a big blow for us especially with the program between he and Whippy just starting to catch a little steam. </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I knew we needed something fresh. CGC had been presenting the same product for a very long time, and given the growing popularity in Women's wrestling, it just seemed like the right time to bring that style of pro wrestling into CGC to give the fans something new. Alex was a little hesitant, but he brought me here for a reason. I didn't think we needed to have a huge division to start us up, so I reached out to some talent to see if they were interested. I heard back from everyone I contacted, and in my opinion, CGC has a very strong debuting Women's division.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I love Davis Ditterich. He's been a great replacement for Marty from what I've seen personally, but when you have the chance to have Peter Michaels calling your events, and more importantly, backstage and in the office helping right the ship, you don't pass it up. It was Alex who reached out originally to Peter. I didn't think he'd have anything to do with a falling Canadian promotion after the heights he'd been to throughout his career. Turns out, Peter has a whole lot left to prove. He's going to add to the announce team on screen, and with his mind for television, he's going to be an invaluable asset working alongside Alex and I.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Things have really heated up heading into our first pay-per-view of 2016 when Canadian Golden Combat present the fourteenth annual Elimination event! The family feud between The DeColts has taken centre stage with Ricky DeColt making it adamantly clear he is no longer seeing eye to eye with his brothers and is out for the respect he feels he's been denied. Jack DeColt feels his brothers recent actions need to be dealt with by force rather than reason which has been Alex DeColts approach. And with Ricky denying to announce his partner for the main event, it only adds to the DeColt family frustration.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Skip Beau & War Machine w/Drake Young vs Brett Fraser & The Good Ol’ Boys

Our opening contest of the first pay-per-view for 2016 sees Skip Beau who is still trying to turn things around teaming with the impressive War Machine to take on the team of Brett Fraser & the debuting Good Ol’ Boys.

Skip and Fraser start us off with Fraser using his size and strength to push Skip around. Skip tries to fight back but is met with a stiff clothesline from Fraser. Fraser splits time with both members of the Good Ol’ Boys working over Skip cutting the ring off from War Machine who are desperately trying to get the fans behind Skip.

Wooton Fitzpaine is working over Skip, placing Skip in the corner and smashing him with multiple corner splashes. Skip manages to move causing Wooton to eat the turnbuckle, and gets rolled up with a school boy. Wooton Fitzpaine is eliminated.

Thimbleby Langton is in and is on Skip once again. Skip manages to get away though, and tags in Bulldozer Smith who is a literal bulldozer in the ring and running through Langton. Bruiser Findlay is in now, Bulldozer tosses Langton in the air, and Findlay catches Langton in a devastating Samoan Drop. Thimbleby Langton is eliminated.

Fraser looks across the ring at the challenge ahead as it is 3-on-1 in favour of the good guys. Fraser being one of the toughest men on the roster rushes towards War Machine who are more than ready to receive him. Despite Fraser’s toughness, he is man handled by the monstrous tag team who destroy Fraser with their Double Powerbomb finish, and Bulldozer Smith picks up the win for his team. Brett Fraser is eliminated.

Winner:
Skip Beau & War Machine via Double Powerbomb
(3-0 Eliminations)

Whippy The Clown & The Dirty White Boys vs Antonio Del Veccio & The Predators

Right from the jump, Del Veccio & both Predators jump their opponents working them all over simultaneously. They dump out Grease Hogg & Whippy leaving Lead Belly in the ring all alone. The Predators double team Belly using a combination of strikes before laying him out and sending him to the back eliminated. Lead Belly is eliminated.

Grease is back in the ring like a raging bull taking on both tag team champs. Tossing both Predators around like a rag doll, Grease would eventually be cut down by Del Veccio from behind. Once again, the villains would cut off the ring, working over Grease. Del Veccio was particularly dangerous here working the elbow, and shoulder of Grease seemingly in preparation for his Arm Bar submission.

But Grease showed his heart in fighting back, and dropping Warren Technique with a Hellvator and picked up the pin fall getting rid of one half of the tag champs. Warren Technique is eliminated.

With the odds evened up, it was time for Whippy to get into this one as he and Del Veccio went at it, and both made were pretty evenly matched much to the chagrin of Del Veccio who holds himself to a much higher standard when it comes to actual technical wrestling. Del Veccio switches his tune real fast with a cheap shot on Whippy to the knee. Del Veccio & Nathan Black would take turns targeting Whippys knee. In a moment of desperation, Whippy hits an enziguri that gives him the chance to get the tag to Grease who has Nathan Black in his sights.

Grease does the same to Black as he did to Technique and lands a second Hellavator, and eliminates the other tag champ. Nathan Black is eliminated.

Del Veccio is pissed. He immediately is on Grease, and locks in an Arm Bar. Grease tries to hang on but taps out because of Del Veccio’s previous attack on his elbow and shoulder. Grease Hogg is eliminated.

It’s down to Whippy and Del Veccio. They’re in the middle of the ring trading blows with one another, neither being able to get the upper hand here. They continue to move up, and are now trading high impact suplexes and slams. A couple of near falls from both competitors lead to Del Veccio locking on his Arm Bar only for Whippy to get to the ropes to force a break. Del Veccio angered by Whippys ability to hang in rushes to pull Whippy away from the ropes, and tries to lock in the Arm Bar a second time, but Whippy rolls him up in a small package and gets the out of nowhere 3-count. Antonio Del Veccio is eliminated. Whippy The Clown is the sole survivor.

Winner:

It’s Not About Family, It’s About Respect

MN5p9rp.jpgM8jaLYZ.jpg

[Alex is in his office looking a little distressed. Jack walks in holding the CGC World Championship and starts to talk about tonights main event.]

JD:
I know you don’t want me to take it to Ricky because of this soft spot you have for him, but did you see who he picked as his partner, huh? You’d think he’d have picked Prometheus because of what’s gone down here the last couple weeks… But no. Who does Ricky choose. Ryan Powell.

[The fans boo at the sound of Powell being named as Rickys partner.]

AD:
He had the right the choose anyone to be his partner.

JD:
After everything our family has been through with Powell, for Ricky to side with him… This isn’t about family anymore Alex. He’s blatantly going against us. He’s trying to get to us. I don’t care anymore about him, or that he’s little brother. He needs a lesson to be learned, and tonight, I’m his teacher.

[Jack walks out with Alex looking even more distressed than before Jack walked in.]

Jaime Quine, Sara Marie York, & Tamara McFly vs Nadia Snow, Suzanne Brazzle, & Zoe Ammis

Time to check out the brand new CGC Women’s Division here with this special showcase match. The match starts with Jaime Quine and Zoe Ammis. They exchange some slick chain wrestling that gets a positive reaction from the crowd. Quine get the up working over Zoe, then having her teammates have a crack at it with Sara Marie York having an especially big up on Zoe ending in an impressive tilt-a-whirl head scissors that gets a standing ovation from the fans.

Quine is back in with Brazzle who is am imposing figure for someone so tiny. She catches Quine with a particularly ugly European uppercut with Quine rebounding off the ropes that catches her square, and just about knocks her out. Quine is able to get a shoulder up, but that was a scary shot to say the very least.

Brazzle, Snow, and Ammis take turns in the ring with Quine who shows a solid amount of heart managing to get the shoulder up with every near fall. One near fall too many however for Quine after Snow hits her signature Snow Fall piledriver. Jaime Quine is eliminated.

Tamara is in and is on Snow. She gets the up with a number of clothesline that lead into body slam-senton combo. Tamara is on a roll. Both Brazzle & Ammis are in to cut her off but McFly is able to dispatch both of them easily. McFly stalks Snow from behind. Snow is up, and Tamara ready. Snow turns, Tamara grabs hold, but Snow reverses into a small package catching McFly off guard and gets the three count. Tamara McFly is eliminated.

Sara Marie York is left to take on the entire other team, she surveys her mountain to climb, notes that both Brazzle and Ammis are on the floor, Snow is still groggy. York is in, and boom! Energy Burst on Snow. She gets the pin before Brazzle is in to break it up. Nadia Snow is eliminated.

Brazzle is in working over York who fights back once again showing tons of heart. Brazzle off the ropes swings a huge clothesline that York is able to duck coming back with another Energy Burst. Brazzle is down. York on the cover, and gets the three evening the score once again. Suzanne Brazzle is eliminated.

Zoe Ammis hits an amazing looking spinning wheel kick out of literally nowhere on York. Ammis goes to work on Yorks knee, looking to set up her submission signature move, The Figure-Four Leg Lock. And sure enough, Ammis wraps up York, and locks it in. York is screaming in agony as Ammis torques her submission. York is able to turn over, and reverse the pressure. Ammis tries desperately to get to the rope, but manages to unhook the submission.

Both women pull themselves up using the ropes. Ammis pushes forward towards York who nails another Energy Burst out of nowhere on Ammis. Ammis however is able to get the shoulder up at two much to the surprise of everyone in attendance. York looks frazzled as Ammis starts getting back to her feet. York limps towards Ammis who rolls up York with a school boy. York kicks out, and as the two women get back to their feet one final Energy Burst puts Ammis away. Zoe Ammis is eliminated. Sara Marie York is the sole survivor.

Winner:
Jaime Quine, Sara Marie York & Tamara McFly via Energy Burst

Shane Nelson, Zeus Maxmillion & Stevie Grayson vs Ozzie Golden & Pure Tradition

This one doesn’t even get off the ground as before the bell rings, Greg Black and Art Reed attack their opponents. Ozzie Golden never gets into the ring due to him admiring himself in his handheld mirror not paying any attention to the action going on inside the ring. First, Pure Tradition dispatch both Zeus & Stevie sending them into the guard rails outside the ring. Shane Nelson stands tall in the ring as Black & Reed slowly try to creep into the ring. As this happens, Sayeed Ali Jumps the guard rail, slides into the ring, and blasts Nelson from behind. Black & Reed follow suit joining Ali in a three man assault. The referee is forced to call this one off due to the attack making this a draw.

Winner:
Draw via Pre-Match Assault.

Welcome The Supremacy

[The Guru makes his way down to the ring. He joins Black, Reed, and Ali in the middle of the ring as a chorus of boos rain down on them because of their vicious assault on their opponents. Guru grabs a microphone and starts to speak.]

G:
That’s right, you can boo us all you like, it doesn’t matter, because we know the truth. We know who we are, and what we represent. To you people, we represent fear, we represent violence, we represent villainy. To us, we represent truth, we represent honour, we represent integrity. And we know we represent these things because of where we’ve been collectively in this business. And now… The Supremacy is here. Welcome to the new era in Canadian… Golden… Combat!

[The group all stand tall in the ring with Zeus, Stevie, and Nelson laid out on the floor at ringside. The group known as The Supremacy leave together as the fans continue to boo them as they leave.]

Bobby Thomas, Donte Dunn & Christian Price vs Dan DaLay, Gargantuan & Joey Poison w/Faith & Jenny Playmate

Donte Dunn starts this one off wanting Joey Poison. Poison doesn’t get in the ring though frustrating Dunn and giving Gargantuan the chance to bull rush Dunn. In true Gargantuan fashion, it’s throw after throw after throw after throw tossing Dunn around the ring like a rag doll. Dunn isn’t a small man either, so watching Gargantuan do what he does best is all the more impressive.

With Dunn on groggy legs, Poison is more than happy to get in the ring, and pick the bones so to speak. With each strike, Joey takes his time mocking Dunn, and jeering at the crowd. One jeer too many and Dunn is fighting back. Firing off shots at Poison sending him back towards his corner, Poison desperately tags out to DaLay. Dunn tags Thomas and these two brutes meet in the centre of the ring trading blows.

Thomas gets the up firing up on DaLay. Thomas is off the ropes, but isn’t paying attention to his ring position and gets clobbered from behind by Gargantuan. DaLay immediately gets to work slowing the pace focusing on the arm, and shoulder of Thomas. Quick tags between the villains keep Thomas grounded with Poison putting extra emphasis on taunting Dunn every time he’s in the ring. Dunn tries getting to Poison only to be stopped by the referee giving the villains more of an opening to work over Thomas.

Thomas starts to fight back on Gargantuan. He’s rocking the big man with shot after shot. Thomas is off the ropes, ducks underneath a lumbering clothesline and rebounds back with a clothesline of his own. Thomas hits a second that looks to bring the big man down. Thomas goes for one more but Gargantuan catches him in a crushing bear hug, and starts squeezing the life out of him. Thomas tries to fight it off but is forced to tap out due to the sheer strength of Gargantuan. Bobby Thomas is eliminated.

Dunn is in on Gargantuan, and he is going off. Gargantuan falls back towards his corner where Poison makes the blind tag. Dunn doesn’t see the tag and continues working over Gargantuan. Dunn successfully clotheslines Gargantuan over the top rope, landing on his feet on the floor. Poison rushes in behind Dunn, rolls him up with a school boy with a handful of tights. The referee counts the three, and Donte Dunn is out. Shocked at his elimination, Dunn slams the mat in anger, and leaves the ring. Donte Dunn is eliminated.

Price is in immediately, and blasts Poison right out of the ring. He knocks DaLay off the apron. Then he focuses on Gargantuan flying through the ropes hitting a suicide dive on the big man on the floor. Price is back in the ring and soars out with another suicide dive, this time to Poison. Price throws a third for good measure hitting DaLay. Price is revved up! He tosses Poison back in the ring. He’s looking to set up his Price Check signature only to be blasted by Gargantuan from behind. Gargantuan Loads Price up, and destroys him with a Choke Slam. Poison crawls over to pick up the pieces. Poison gets the pin, and the win for his team. Christian Price is eliminated.

Winner:
Dan DaLay, Gargantuan & Joey Poison via Choke Slam

Everyone’s Got A Price

ZzOGcwB.jpgIH5431W.jpgqy0LFMw.jpg

[Gargantuan is standing over the broken Christian Price. DaLay is outside of the ring. The two look to each other. DaLay signals to Gargantuan to finish Price. Gargantuan lifts Price up by the throat. He says something inaudible to Price, and then absolutely wrecks him with his Ultimate Backbreaker. Price falls to a heap on the mat. Gargantuan walks over Price, and leaves with DaLay very pleased.]

Jack DeColt & Ian DeColt vs Ricky DeColt & Ryan Powell

It’s time for our volatile main event where family collides. Jack wants at Ricky, and isn’t making any attempt to make it a secret. Ricky has no interest stepping into the ring with Jack. A stark change from Ricky’s attitude recently. As the bell rings, Powell tries to get the jump on Jack, but is unsuccessful. Jack is teeing off on Powell. Ian gets into the mix as well and both DeColt cousins go to town on Ryan Powell as Ricky DeColt stands on the apron looking demoralized.

Ian is in now throwing a bunch of stiff kicks to the chest of Powell, something out of the ordinary for the usually brawl based Ian. He takes a few steps back looking for a big swing. Powell ducks under, and returns with a flatliner taking Ian down, giving Powell a chance to breathe. He tags in Ricky who goes right to work. Ricky uses every cheap shot in the book. Eye rakes, finger stretches, hair pulling, anything to get a rise out of Jack who is stuck on the apron. Ian tries to mount some kind of offence, but his inexperience does him no favours against his foes.

Powell is back in with Ian and he’s slapped on a rear chin lock, and is wrenching back with it. The referee is right there to call if Ian quits which of course he doesn’t. He gets the fans behind him, using their energy to work his way back up to his feet. Three shots to Powell’s gut, and Ian is free from the hold. His inexperience gets the better of him again though as instead of going for the tag, he hits the ropes to go on offensive. Powell is right there plunging his knee right into Ian’s sternum. Ian crumbles to the mat, and Powell is back on the hold once again.

Ian once again fights his way back to his feet. The fans steadily behind him, Ian finds an opening using it to land a high angle back suppler planting Powell on the canvas. It’s a race to get the tag. Ian slowly creeps towards Jack, Powell towards Ricky. Powell gets to his corner first tagging Ricky who rushes to get to Ian. He does, grabbing his foot, and trying to pull him away from an outstretched Jack. Ian uses the momentum however to kick Ricky off. Ian turns, jumps, and tags Jack who finally gets his hands on Ricky.

Jack fires off a ton of shots to both Ricky & Ryan as they both try to regroup and get back on offence. Jack is just too much for both of them tossing Ricky out of the ring. Jack and Ryan in the ring as Ryan falls into Jack who hits the End of Days on Powell!!! He covers, but the referee doesn’t make the count. Ryan Powell isn’t the legal man! Ricky is on the floor.

Jack goes out to grab him, and they brawl on the floor. Jack has the advantage with momentum clearly on his side. He tosses Ricky back in the ring. Ian is back up. Jack tags him in, and signals for Ian to prep his Identity Theft signature move. Ian heads up top, Jack sets up Ricky for the End of Days! Ricky slips out of it, pushing Jack into the ropes which knocks Ian off the top. Ricky sets up for a DeColt 45, but Jack sees it coming a mile away and catches Ricky with an End of Days. Jack makes the pin. The referee doesn’t count again noting now that Ian is the legal man, not Jack.

Frustrated, Jack tries to revive his cousin as the monster Prometheus heads to the ring. Jack see’s Prometheus coming, and catches him with a stiff shot knocking him off the apron. Jack goes to the floor to fight the monster. Ryan Powell hits Jack with a Star Treatment on the floor! Ian is up in the ring and turns into a DeColt 45 that catches him square on the jaw. Ian is out. Ricky makes the cover and gets the three count.

Ryan Powell & Ricky DeColt via DeColt 45 (Superkick)

Complete Destruction

MN5p9rp.jpg7tdfwGJ.jpgrttnbcU.jpgM8jaLYZ.jpg

[Ricky celebrates in the ring. Jack is back up and in the ring on Ricky. Jack fills Ricky with so many shots the crowd loses count. Prometheus grabs Jack pulling him off of Ricky. Now Jack & Prometheus are brawling. Jack looks like he’s got the upper hand when from out of nowhere Ricky is back nailing jack with a DeColt 45 square knocking him out. Ricky gets jacked up having caught his brother off guard. He directs Prometheus to finish Jack off. As this happens, Alex DeColt hits the ring. He’s pleading with his brother Ricky to stop this madness. Ricky & Alex come face to face. Ricky then backs off holding his hands up almost in submission. He steps through the ropes, and out onto the apron. Alex seems relieved that Ricky is backing off. Ricky then signals to Prometheus, and when Alex turns towards him, Prometheus’ might hand reigns down on Alex’s skull with his God Chop. Alex is out cold. Jack is out cold. Ricky DeColt & Prometheus stand tall in the ring over the fallen DeColts as the show comes to an end.]

An exhibition of the brand new CGC Women’s Division here with McFly taking on Brazzle in the first one-on-one match for the division. This one starts off like most McFly matches with Tamara utilizing her slick chain wrestling that’s become synonymous with her family legacy. Brazzle holds her own though finding an opening to cut down McFly with some stiff shots followed up by a particularly gruesome face buster that McFly is able to kick out of.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Brazzle works over McFly for the bulk of the match having her ego get the better of her at times costing her what seemed to be easy pinfall wins. One chance too many for McFly to gain the advantage sees Tamara take over with a flurry of clotheslines. Brazzle is able to fight back though going for her Brazzle Dazzle signature move. It’s reversed by McFly. McFly Roll is locked in. She has it Brazzle prone, who has no choice but to tap out.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Back from break, The Predators are making their way to the ring with their tag team championship. The Dirty White Boys hit the floor, a nd these two teams start this match with a legit brawl on the floor. Black has paired off with Grease, and Technique with Belly. Each pairing are trading blows around ringside which eventually spills out into the crowd. The fans are cheering the DWB’s, and booing The Predators. </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Both teams make their way around the crowd towards the entrance way. They’re both up on the stage with The DWB’s taking control teeing off on the champs. The DWB’s have their reputation from doing without thinking. This was no different. The champs are standing near the edge of the stage knocked silly. Behind them off the stage are two conveniently placed tables. The DWB’s rush the champs with a pair of spears that take all four men off the stage crashing down through the tables below. </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Whippy The Clown vs Ozzie Golden</strong></div></div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

While not the finest wrestlers in the game, the next match features two wildly entertaining athletes with the comedic Whippy taking on the vain Ozzie who takes his sweet time getting anywhere near the ring opting once again to admire himself in the mirror rather then step through the ropes. Whippy is in the ring waiting on Ozzie. With Ozzie staying still on the apron with his mirror, Whippy has waited long enough using the ropes to vault Ozzie into the ring slingshot style.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

And they’re off. Whippy using the ring to his advantage marching Ozzie around all the corner pads bashing Ozzie’s beautiful face off of each one much to the fans delight. Ozzie sells his nose, really milking that he’s now devastatingly injured. Whippy keeps on the attack with a pair of body slams followed up with a heavy looking senton splash.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Ozzie is finally able to get on the attack using Whippy’s forward momentum to pull him face first into the second turnbuckle. Ozzie takes his time spending more time worrying about the shape of his perfect nose rather than trying to win the match. A lot of flimsy covers that Whippy easily kicks out of. Ozzie still on offence heads up to the top rope which is really out of the ordinary. Almost a foregone conclusion that Ozzie would leap off trying to hit a flying elbow but misses, and hits hard. </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Whippy is back up and going in on Ozzie. Ozzie is reeling, and Whippy is on fire. Ozzie is in position for Whippy who picks Ozzie up on his shoulders and hits No Laughing Matter! Whippy gets the pin, and get the win.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Zeus & Stevie vs Ricky DeColt & Prometheus</strong></div></div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It’s main event time with an irritated Ricky DeColt teaming with his menacing giant Prometheus against the happy go lucky team of Zeus & Stevie who haven’t had the best of luck recently, and are looking to turn it around here in this incredibly high profile match. Prometheus starts and poses a huge threat to the much smaller team. This means nothing to the power of the duo as Zeus squares up with the giant.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As strong as Zeus may be… He’s no match for Prometheus who uses his size and power to turn Zeus into the smallest of cruiserweights. The giant tosses Zeus around like it’s nobodies business. Grayson is tagged in and has the same effect against Prometheus as his partner. Prometheus looks like he’s having fun decimating his two foes.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Tagging in Ricky to pick the bones of Grayson, Ricky spends his time in the ring berating Grayson, and referring to Jack with some strikes, and Alex with others, telling Stevie that it’s the DeColt families fault he’s getting beat the way he is. Grayson finds this as an opening to take over on Ricky. Grayson is rolling as he tags into Zeus who keeps the momentum going. </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Ricky catches Zeus with a lethal European Upper Cut that almost sends Zeus out. Ricky hits the ropes but runs into Zeus ready with the Olympian Clutch. Squeezing the life out of Ricky, Zeus looks primed for victory when Prometheus is back in landing God’s Chop to the back of Zeus’ head. He releases Ricky after the shot, and crumbles towards the corner.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Grayson jumps off the top rope but falls into Prometheus nailing another God’s Chop which knocks Stevie out cold. Ricky is cocked, and loaded. Zeus turns from the corner post and eats a DeColt 45 which blanks Zeus. Ricky is on the pin, and gets the three count for his team. Ricky and Prometheus stand victorious as the show comes to an end.</div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">
