<strong>Notes:</strong> </p><p> </p><p>

- Israel Adesanya remained undefeated in his career, moving to 22-0 overall and 11-0 in the UFC, with his 4th title defense at Middleweight.</p><p>

- Joseph Benavidez finally has gold around his waist, after more than 20 fights in the UFC. Benavidez was always thought of as a career title gatekeeper, but finally realised his dream of winning the UFC belt.</p><p>

- Stipe Miocic completed the trilogy against Daniel Cormier with a Unanimous Decision victory, to win the series 2-1. There was a great respect between the men after the fight, and Cormier announced his retirement, leaving his gloves in the cage. He unfortunately finished his career on a 3 fight losing streak, but was a dual-title holder, so will go down as one of the greats and likely a UFC Hall of Famer in the future.</p><p>

- Despite Cody Garbrandt wanting a third shot at his main rival, TJ Dillashaw, it again proved to be a bad matchup for him, as again he was stopped. Dillashaw broke a 3 fight losing streak, while pushing Garbrandt into a 2 fight losing streak.</p><p>

- Vicente Luque handed Geoff Neal his first UFC loss, with Neal dropping to 7-1, and probably put himself in line for a No.1 contender fight at Welterweight.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rankings Changes:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

AJ has amassed an impressive run of wins in his relatively young career, with wins over Pat Curran, Georgi Karakhanyan and Henry Corrales. He is already ranked as the #22 Featherweight in the world.</p><p> <strong>Andre Harrison (22-2-1)</strong> - A 35 year old New Yorker with plenty of experience in MMA, he is the most recent PFL Featherweight champion and former ROC and Titan FC Featherweight champion, vacating both belts without losing them.</p><p> <strong>Daniel Straus (27-10)</strong> - Straus is a former Bellator Featherweight champion, who has had some amazing battles with Pat Curran (twice) and Bellator Featherweight GOAT, Patricio Freire (four times). He also won the Bellator Season Six Featherweight Tournament.</p><p> <strong>Filip Pejic (16-3-2)</strong> - Pejic went 0-1 in his original UFC run and was unfortunate to find himself released, but has bounced back and is currently on a 2 fight win streak in KSW with wins over UFC veterans, Marcin Wrzocek and Diego Nunes.</p><p> <strong>Grant Blackler (9-1)</strong> - A veteran of The Ultimate Fighter, Blackler was a member of the Australian team in the 'Smashes: UK vs Australia' season. He unfortunately was eliminated in the first round but has been impressive since. With just one loss to his name, he may be a real surprise package this season.</p><p> <strong>Jason Knight (22-6)</strong> - Most recently a bare-knuckle boxer, Knight has fought twice in 2020, going 2-0. He has 4 UFC wins to his name, with wins over Chas Skelly, Alex Caceres, Jim Alers and most impressively, Dan Hooker.</p><p> <strong>Khamzat Dalgiev (11-3)</strong> - A late replacement in the tournament and the least known on the roster, not much is expected from Dalgiev, but he has finished 9 of his 11 wins, so has proven to be a solid finisher.</p><p> <strong>Mark Eddiva (8-2)</strong> - The current ROAD FC Featherweight champion, beating former UFC fighter, Rocky Lee via Unanimous Decision. Eddiva went 1-3 in his original UFC run, but the Flilipino fighter has huge upside and has really improved his all round game since his release.</p><p> <strong>Michael Tobin (14-2)</strong> - Australian Tobin started his MMA career with a 12-0 record, but then dropped a couple of fights to lesser opponents. Fortunately, he has bounced back with a couple of wins, his last being a submission victory to win the AFC Featherweight Title.</p><p> <strong>Ozzy Dugulubgov (10-2) </strong>- Dugulubgov went 5 years without fighting, but returned in 2020 with two wins in KoTC. He holds a win over Chris Wade and was due to fight top Lightweight contender, Justin Gaethje in WSOF, but the fight was cancelled.</p><p> <strong>Paddy Pimblett (15-2)</strong> - A real character, a lot is expected of Pimblett in the house, both in and out of the cage. He is a former Cage Warriors Featherweight champion, who also fought for the Lightweight title, but came up short against Soren Bak.</p><p> <strong>Sergio Giglio (12-0)</strong> - Undefeated Peruvian Giglio is only 23 years old, and started fighting professionally at just 16. He was also undefeated at amateur level.</p><p> <strong>TJ Laramie (11-3)</strong> - Another young fighter, at just 22, Laramie started his professional career at just 17 in Japan, as he couldn't get licensed in Canada until he was 18. He holds a win over current UFC fighter, Charles Jourdain.</p><p> <strong>Tyler Diamond (10-2)</strong> - Ranked as the top Canadian Featherweight, Diamond was a contestant on season 27 of TUF, but was eliminated and then also suffered a loss on the finale. He beat Jim Alers in his last fight and will hope to impress in his second chance in the house.</p><p> <strong>Will Chope (34-10)</strong> - Chope is a whopping 6'4 and will easily be the tallest fighter in the competition. Hes been fighting predominantly in Asia for most of his career, and has pro fights in Boxing, Kickboxing and Bare-Knuckle Boxing outside of MMA.</p><p> <strong>Yusuf Raisov (17-1)</strong> - A very good grappler from Russia, Raisov has wins over Andre Winner and Luis Palomino on his record and is a former ACB Featherweight champion.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>First Round Fights:</strong> (I've already got thru the first 8 weeks)</p><p> </p><p> Sergio Giglio vs Ozzy Dugulubgov</p><p> Paddy Pimblett vs Tyler Diamond</p><p> Andre Harrison vs Filip Pejic</p><p> Daniel Straus vs Grant Blackler</p><p> Yusuf Raisov vs Mark Eddiva</p><p> Will Chope vs AJ McKee</p><p> Jason Knight vs TJ Laramie</p><p> Khamzat Dalgiev vs Michael Tobin</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>First Round Fight Results:</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> Sergio Giglio (Team McGregor) defeated Ozzy Dugulubgov (Team Ferguson) via KO</p><p> Tyler Diamond (Team McGregor) defeated Paddy Pimblett (Team Ferguson) via Unanimous Decision</p><p> Andre Harrison (Team Ferguson) defeated Filip Pejic (Team McGregor) via Majority Decision</p><p> Daniel Straus (Team McGregor) defeated Grant Blackler (Team Ferguson) via Unanimous Decision</p><p> Yusuf Raisov (Team Ferguson) defeated Mark Eddiva (Team McGregor) via Submission</p><p> AJ McKee (Team McGregor) defeated Will Chope (Team Ferguson) via TKO</p><p> Jason Knight (Team McGregor) defeated TJ Laramie (Team Ferguson) via Unanimous Decision</p><p> Khamzat Dalgiev (Team Ferguson) defeated Michael Tobin (Team McGregor) via TKO</p><p> </p><p> CageRage - 5 <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> / 3 <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Majster - 8 <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> / 0 <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> (WOW!)</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Quarter Final Fights:</strong></span></p><p> </p><p> AJ McKee (Team McGregor) vs Andre Harrison (Team Ferguson)</p><p> Khamzat Dalgiev (Team Ferguson) vs Jason Knight (Team McGregor)</p><p> Daniel Straus (Team McGregor) vs Yusuf Raisov (Team Ferguson)</p><p> Sergio Giglio (Team McGregor) vs Tyler Diamond (Team McGregor)</p>

Submission of the Night: Gunnar Nelson (vs Neil Magny)

Notes:

- Highly rated Russian LHW Batraz Agnaev made a successful UFC debut, wiping out former TUF contestant, Anton Berzin in 75 seconds. Big things are expected of the 6'5 fighter.

- Mike Perry was a +260 underdog, and after finishing Naurdiev just over 2 minutes into the first round, stood over his fallen opponent and taunted him. He then called out Tony Martin for his next opponent.

- Uriah Hall was also an underdog, at +350, but hit a spectacular highlight reel heel kick to KO Jared Cannonier

- Jingliang Li extends his win streak to 5 impressive wins, with this win over Tony Martin adding to his past wins over Mike Perry, Michael Chiesa, Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos and David Zawada. He's now 9-1 in his last 10 UFC fights.

- Thiago 'Maretta' Santos called out Ryan Spann as a fighter he'd be interested in fighting, depending on how the LHW tournament goes.

- Former Bellator Middleweight champion, Rafael Carvalho moves to 2-0 in the UFC, first beating #13 ranked Elias Theodorou and now #7 ranked Antonio Carlos Junior, both by 1st round stoppage. A top 5 opponent likely awaits Carvalho next.

- Justin Gaethje called for a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov next.

- Daniel Spitz pulled off a massive upset, TKOing Deontay Wilder less than halfway thru the first round. He was lined up as a sacrificial lamb for the former Boxing Heavyweight champion.

- Dominick Cruz moves to 3-0 since his return from a 4 year hiatus, now beating Jimmie Rivera after previous wins over Cody Garbrandt and Pedro Munhoz, with all 3 wins coming against top 5 ranked opponents. He will face the winner of Joseph Benavidez vs Marlon Moraes next, or step in if theres an injury to either fighter.

- Tony Ferguson followed up a 1st round TKO over Donald Cerrone with a destructive 1st round TKO over Dustin Poirier, finishing his opponent in just 46 seconds.

- The Prelims were some of the most entertaining prelims ever to air, with just one fight going to a decision, with that fight being 'decent' level.

Notes:

- Brandon Moreno called out Matheus Nicolau, after his Unanimous Decision over Andre Soukhamthath.

- Albert Duraev called out Nick Diaz after his impressive 65 second KO over tough wrestler, Ian Heinisch. That wont be a fight that interests Diaz right now, after beating Darren Till in his last fight.

- Carrington Banks was a +440 underdog but edged a Split Decision over ranked opponent, Arman Tsarukyan. Banks is now on a 5 fight winning streak.

- Arman Tsarukyan snaps a 3 fight winning streak in the UFC, but is only 24 so has plenty of years to get wins under his belt.

- It was 10-0 vs 10-0 in the next fight, with Hawaiin, Lowen Tynanes submitting his Slovenian opponent, Uros Jurisic, in the second round in his UFC debut.

- Another battle of the undefeated fighters was next, with 6-0 Aleksa Camur prevailing over 8-0 Adrian Bartosinski via Kimura.

- Nik Lentz pulled off a big upset, ending the undefeated record of Mateusz Gamrot by Unanimous Decision. Lentz has now won 3 fights in a row, after previous wins over Jim Miller and Clay Guida.

- Rory MacDonald was successful in his UFC return, in a fantastic fight, dominating Ray Cooper III for 2 rounds before submitting him.

- Frankie Edgar snapped a 3 fight losing streak with a Unanimous Decision over Ricardo Lamas.

- The older fighter in each quarter final fight was victorious as Reyes, Jacare, Gustafsson and Shogun advanced to the semi-finals of the UFC Light Heavyweight Title Tournament.

- Jacare Souza KOing Ryan Spann was arguably the most surprising result, with the veteran BJJ black belt not expected to stand with his more youthful opponent. This was Spann's first loss in the UFC.

- Andre Soukhamthath and Uros Jurisic both released from the UFC.

Fight of the Night: Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor

Knockout of the Night: Zabit Magomedsharipov (vs Jose Aldo)

Notes:

- Russian Juggernaut, Ivan Shtyrkov called out Rafal Kijanczuk after destroying Frenchman, Alan Baudot in less than 2 minutes

- Highly rated Abukar Yandiev made a successful debut, KOing UFC veteran, Roger Narvaez early in the third round.

- Magomed Magomedov called out TJ Laramie after a close Split Decision win over Rasul Mirzaev.

- The youngest fighter on the card, 22 year old Mauro Mastromarini brought in a perfect 10-0 record to face the cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Omar, who was himself undefeated at 6-0. It was Omar, however, who kept his record perfect, with a second round guillotine.

- It wasn't such a good result for the Nurmagomedov family in the next fight, as Said Nurmagomedov was finished in just 22 seconds by the younger brother of Firas Zahabi, Aiemann. This win puts Aiemann on a 3 fight winning streak.

- After beating one Russian in Ali Isaev, Carlos Felipe called out another, the undefeated Dmitriy Sosnovskiy for his next fight.

- Anatoly Tokov bounced back from his UFC debut loss, to take a decision from French veteran, Francis Carmont. He then said he'd like to face Maiquel Falcao next.

- In a battle of Light Heavyweights who are knocking on the door of the rankings, Alonzo Menifield remained perfect in his career at 13-0, by finishing one of Russia's most highly touted prospects in Magomed Ankalaev. Many saw Ankalaev's first loss of his career to Paul Craig as a fluke loss, but this loss was far from that, with Menifield really impressing. Menifield moves to 6-0 in the UFC, with all but 1 by finish, and 3 in a row against Russian opponents.

- Petr Yan extended his winning streak to 3, with probably his biggest win to date, a Unanimous Decision over two weight champion, Henry Cejudo.

- Zabit was a +200 underdog with the bookies, but bounced back successfully from losing his title, by KOing former champion, Jose Aldo with 1 second left in the second round.

- Alexander Volkov absolutely shocked the world on home soil, by KOing Francis Ngannou, who hadn't lost for 2 and a half years and had been dominating the division. Volkov was given very little chance of winning, so the roof came off when the fight was called off and he was the new champion. He adds Ngannou to his impressive run of wins, after previously beating Alistair Overeem and Anthony Johnson in his last 2 fights.

- In a hard fought rematch that nearly lasted the distance, Khabib managed to submit his biggest rival 3:45 into the final round. There was a surprising show of respect after the fight, as Conor admitted he was beaten by the better man again, and announced a drop back down to the Featherweight division that he had previously dominated. Khabib was ecstatic with the win and said he wants his belt back, after he lost it in his surprising loss to Kevin Lee in his last fight.

- Conor McGregor still has 6 months left of his drugs ban, hence why the whole PPV was held in Russia.

Another two strong events with interesting fight cards. Surprise is definitely that Volkov became the new heavyweight champion defeating Ngannou. The Light Heavyweight tournament is entering a decisive moment, each of these four fighters can become a new champion. Well, unfortunately, the first defeat in Gamrot's career :( . Bartosinski loss is not surprising. Shtyrkov after winning the fight challenged Kijanczuk which can be a very interesting fight for Rafał and a strong start in the UFC.

The Ultimate Fighter 30: Featherweights

Coaches:

Conor McGregor

Tony Ferguson

Fighters:

AJ McKee (18-0) - The undefeated son of former UFC fighter, Antonio McKee. AJ has amassed an impressive run of wins in his relatively young career, with wins over Pat Curran, Georgi Karakhanyan and Henry Corrales. He is already ranked as the #22 Featherweight in the world.

Andre Harrison (22-2-1) - A 35 year old New Yorker with plenty of experience in MMA, he is the most recent PFL Featherweight champion and former ROC and Titan FC Featherweight champion, vacating both belts without losing them.

Daniel Straus (27-10) - Straus is a former Bellator Featherweight champion, who has had some amazing battles with Pat Curran (twice) and Bellator Featherweight GOAT, Patricio Freire (four times). He also won the Bellator Season Six Featherweight Tournament.

Filip Pejic (16-3-2) - Pejic went 0-1 in his original UFC run and was unfortunate to find himself released, but has bounced back and is currently on a 2 fight win streak in KSW with wins over UFC veterans, Marcin Wrzocek and Diego Nunes.

Grant Blackler (9-1) - A veteran of The Ultimate Fighter, Blackler was a member of the Australian team in the 'Smashes: UK vs Australia' season. He unfortunately was eliminated in the first round but has been impressive since. With just one loss to his name, he may be a real surprise package this season.

Jason Knight (22-6) - Most recently a bare-knuckle boxer, Knight has fought twice in 2020, going 2-0. He has 4 UFC wins to his name, with wins over Chas Skelly, Alex Caceres, Jim Alers and most impressively, Dan Hooker.

Khamzat Dalgiev (11-3) - A late replacement in the tournament and the least known on the roster, not much is expected from Dalgiev, but he has finished 9 of his 11 wins, so has proven to be a solid finisher.

Mark Eddiva (8-2) - The current ROAD FC Featherweight champion, beating former UFC fighter, Rocky Lee via Unanimous Decision. Eddiva went 1-3 in his original UFC run, but the Flilipino fighter has huge upside and has really improved his all round game since his release.

Michael Tobin (14-2) - Australian Tobin started his MMA career with a 12-0 record, but then dropped a couple of fights to lesser opponents. Fortunately, he has bounced back with a couple of wins, his last being a submission victory to win the AFC Featherweight Title.

Ozzy Dugulubgov (10-2) - Dugulubgov went 5 years without fighting, but returned in 2020 with two wins in KoTC. He holds a win over Chris Wade and was due to fight top Lightweight contender, Justin Gaethje in WSOF, but the fight was cancelled.

Paddy Pimblett (15-2) - A real character, a lot is expected of Pimblett in the house, both in and out of the cage. He is a former Cage Warriors Featherweight champion, who also fought for the Lightweight title, but came up short against Soren Bak.

Sergio Giglio (12-0) - Undefeated Peruvian Giglio is only 23 years old, and started fighting professionally at just 16. He was also undefeated at amateur level.

TJ Laramie (11-3) - Another young fighter, at just 22, Laramie started his professional career at just 17 in Japan, as he couldn't get licensed in Canada until he was 18. He holds a win over current UFC fighter, Charles Jourdain.

Tyler Diamond (10-2) - Ranked as the top Canadian Featherweight, Diamond was a contestant on season 27 of TUF, but was eliminated and then also suffered a loss on the finale. He beat Jim Alers in his last fight and will hope to impress in his second chance in the house.

Will Chope (34-10) - Chope is a whopping 6'4 and will easily be the tallest fighter in the competition. Hes been fighting predominantly in Asia for most of his career, and has pro fights in Boxing, Kickboxing and Bare-Knuckle Boxing outside of MMA.

Yusuf Raisov (17-1) - A very good grappler from Russia, Raisov has wins over Andre Winner and Luis Palomino on his record and is a former ACB Featherweight champion.

Submission of the Night: Marcin Held (vs Marc Diakiese)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Notes:</strong> </p><p> </p><p>

- Brendan Loughnane was a +670 underdog but overcame the odds to beat Julio Arce by razor thin Split Decision.</p><p>

- Christos Giagos was another big underdog who prevailed, this time at +460 with bookies.</p><p>

- Upsets seemed to be the theme of the evening, as Australian, Ben Sosoli beat hometown fighter, Domingos Barros, to extend his win streak to 3 after previous wins over Justin Ledet and Rico Verhoeven. Sosoli said he'd love to fight in Australia next, hopefully against Justin Wren, who was the name he mentioned when asked about his next opponent.</p><p>

- Former RIZIN Bantamweight champion and hometown fighter, Manel Kape took a convincing Unanimous Decision over Elnar Ibragimov on his UFC debut, pushing his win streak to 5.</p><p>

- Cezar Ferreira's KO loss to Scott Askham put him on a 4 fight losing streak, and his UFC future in doubt.</p><p>

- Undefeated Welshman, Jack Shore, lost that record in his decision loss to former Bellator Bantamweight champion, Darrion Caldwell</p><p>

- Another Welshman, Jack Marshman pulled off an upset, beating streaking American, James Krause, who hadn't lost a fight since 2015 and has won his last 7. This was Marshman's third straight win after his loss to Edmen Shahbazyan.</p><p>

- Ciryl Gane moved to a perfect 9-0 after KOing Walt Harris early into the second round. Gane's 6th UFC win, with 5 finishes should get him into the rankings at Heavyweight.</p><p>

- Jan Blachowicz gave Linton Vassell a unwelcome UFC debut, submitting him in the first round. Blachowicz says he'd like to face Dominick Reyes in the near future.</p><p>

- Marcin Held was a massive underdog at +700, but submitted Marc Diakiese and ending the Englishman's 6 fight win streak, which in turn put Held on a 6 fight win streak.</p><p>

- Alistair Overeem put himself in contention for the next shot at the Heavyweight title for Alexander Volkov's first title defense. It will depend on the outcome of the upcoming Curtis Blaydes vs Junior dos Santos fight, if Blaydes wins, the title shot is his, but if JDS wins, Overeem gets the next shot.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Another good event in Europe. Overeem has a chance for the longed-for UFC title, which is still very interesting and with Volkov he will have a good chance of a Heavyweight title. Big victory for Held which puts him in his division and Błachowicz is still in good shape and is in the lead of Light Heavyweight. It's a pity Oleksiejczuk, but Rakic is apparently too high for him. At TUF I bet on Raisov.

At TUF I bet on Raisov.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Will be very interesting to see if Overeem can get the title at his age, and add to all the other belts he's held over his career.</p><p> Think Held i'm gonna put against Alexander Hernandez next, a fight between 2 top young contenders on good winning streaks, the winner of that may have 1 fight after that before a title shot. My rankings for the card was messed up and Hernandez is #7 and Held #11</p><p> A good win for Blachowicz, and hoping to have him vs Bader next, rank #5 vs rank #6, and then maybe winner of that could face whoever wins the LHW tournament.</p><p> Oleksiejczuk was top 10 at LHW and now just outside at #12, so will likely stick him against Crute who just lost in the LHW tournament, whos ranked #9 and itll be another fight of young contenders, 25 year old vs 23 year old.</p><p> Ive got another Polish card coming up, but ill keep putting them on while a polish guy is reading, so probably a polish card after that with:</p><p> </p><p> Blachowicz vs Bader - Main Event</p><p> Held vs Hernandez - Co-Main Event</p><p> Oleksiejczuk vs Crute</p><p> Kijanczuk vs Shtyrkov</p>

<strong>Notes:</strong> </p><p> </p><p>

- Daniel Straus KOd double-tough Jason Knight then called out Michael Tobin.</p><p>

- Former WSOF Featherweight champion, Lance Palmer had an unsuccessful UFC debut, losing to Ricardo Ramos by Unanimous Decision. Ramos said he'd like to face off against fellow Brazillian, John Lineker next.</p><p>

- Alexander Hernandez has become known to be quite outspoken, and a callout of Khabib Nurmagomedov after his decision win over Jim Miller would back up that point.</p><p>

- In a fight between losing TUF semi-finalists, Sergio Giglio entered as a +620 underdog but walked away with a Unanimous Decision over AJ McKee. Giglio was 12-0 going against McKee, who was 18-0. - Augusto Sakai says he'd like to give Greg Hardy a beating next, despite making hard work of Brett Martin in a fight he really should've been able to finish a lot quicker.</p><p>

- In a classic striker vs grappler fight, it was world class kickboxer, Gokhan Saki vs world class BJJ black belt and member of the famed Gracie family, Ralek. It was grappling that prevailed, with Gracie submitting Saki in the first round in his UFC debut.</p><p>

- Niko Price extended his win streak to 5, and will likely enter the top 10 rankings at Welterweight, after stopping Cowboy Oliveira in under 2 mins due to a body kick TKO.</p><p>

- Douglas Lima made a successful debut in the UFC, taking out former UFC title contender, Stephen Thompson in the second round by submission.</p><p>

<p>You've recently accelerated with episodes, which pleases you because of the interesting fights and settlement cards. In the final fight for the LHW belt, I bet 51% -49% on Reyes, the duel promises to be very interesting and if Shogun wins, it will not surprise me and it probably will satisfy me more. Very interesting International fight week and of course I am most interested in the Polish card.</p><p> </p><p>
