Tonight was the night Uprising 10! We was really excited for this one. During the night myself, Doug and the rest of the team started planning for 2021 and how Pro Wrestling Manchester will change going forward.

These are exciting times and we can't wait to share them with you all. At the end of the post I will leave a poster for one event we will book for 2021 and it's our biggest yet!

Contenders match

Cara Noir Vs Timothy Thatcher

The Main event of the night was a match with the winner getting a shot at Zack Sabre Jr. The bookies favorite on paper was Thatcher, but the Cara Noir continued his great rise this year in the UK and won the match to become number one contender.

Winner: Cara Noir 50

Showcase Championship

Kyle Fletcher Vs Scotty Davis

In Kyle Fletcher's first defense the Aussie Arrow defeated Scotty Davis to keep of of the Showcase Championship.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher 41

Women's Championship

Martina vs Lana Austin

Manchester's Own Lana Austin had the opportunity to take the Women's title from Martina and both women had a decent match with the fans firmly behind both. In the end it was Martina who pinned Lana Austin for the win.

Winner: Martina 46

Joe Nelson and Chris Ridgeway Vs Anti-Fun Police

In a rematch from last month The Anti-fun Police defeated Nelson and Ridgeway when Dunne pinned Ridgeway

Winners: Anti-fun Police 37

Chuck Mambo Vs Spike Trivet

Spike Trivet carried on his winning streak by defeating the ever fun Chuck Mambo.

Joe Hening vs Luke Jacobs

Luke Jacobs had a big chance here when we went against a Second Generation and former WWE Superstar Joe Hening. Luke Jacobs showed how good he is and battled all the way, but in the end it Davey Boy Smith Jr. helped Joe Hening win the match and then beat down Jacobs and his partner Ethan Allen who was at ringside.

Winner: Joe Hening 46

For the first time we had decided to run in a different arena, Manchester Academy 3. It was only 50 more people than the Frog & Bucket but, that was a bit more more in our promotion to hire people.

We believe we had some good matches tonight and are looking forward to the team of Davey Boy Smith Jr.and Joe Hening as the Perfect Dynasty.

PWM Championship match

Zack Sabre Jr. Vs Cara Noir

Last month Cara Noir defeated Timothy Thatcher to become number one contender. tonight he had his opportunity to capture the gold. Cara Noir showed why everyone is talking about him with some great wrestling with the best technical wrestler there is in Zack Sabre Jr.

The end of the match saw Zack force Noir to tap out to the Article 50 submission for the win

Winner: Zack Sabre Jr./B] 63

Showcase Championship

Kyle Fletcher Vs Lewis Girvan

Kyle Fletcher's reign as Showcase Champion didn't last very long as Lewis Girvan was able to defeat the Aussie Arrow and become the new Showcase Champion.

Winner: Lewis Girvan 47

Women's Championship

Martina vs Millie McKenzie

Millie McKenzie had the opportunity to dethrone the current Women's Champion Martina and the female suplex machine nearly walked away with the title but Martina managed to hit the Satellite DDT for the win

Winner: Martina 50

Chris Ridgeway Vs Chief Deputy Dunne

After The Anti-fun Police defeated Nelson and Ridgeway last month The chief and Ridgeway battled in singles competition. It was "Smash Mouth" Ridgeway who picked up the win.

Winners: Chris Ridgeway 46

Dani Luna Vs Lizzy Styles Vs Bobbi Tyler

These three young ladies had a contenders match to face the Women's champion at Uprising 12. It was Bobbi Tyler who got the win over Lizzy Styles..

Young Guns Vs Perfect Dynasty

After Luke Jacobs and Ethan Allen were beat down last month by Joe Hening and Davey Boy Smith Jr. the Young Guns had the opportunity to battle the Perfect Dynasty tonight. Hening and Smith are a team we are going to enjoy having in PWM and they showed the Young Guns that by wining the match and making a statement!

Winner: Perfect Dynasty 46

After the event Doug Williams Came out and for the first time we announced Zack Sabre Jr's next opponent........NXT UK's Tyler Bate!!!!!!!

January 2021

It;s January 2021 and we are kicking things off in a big way at Pro Wrestling Manchester, Tonight's Main Event saw Zack Sabre Jr. Defend the PWM Championship again his biggest opponent yet in Tyler Bate.

I was massively looking forward to this as two of my favorite matches were Tyler Bate Vs Pete Dunne and Bate Vs Walter. We knew we had a good main event lined up, it was up

to these two great performers to take it and shine.

A week leading up to this event Lewis Girvan suffered a big injury that forces him out of future shows for a while and having to vacate the Showcase Championship.

So we put three of our best Young lions in a triple threat match for the Championship.

Tonight was also the night to crown our first Tag Team champions which also was a triple threat.

Zack Sabre Jr. Vs Tyler Bate

This was the Main Event of main Events, this was the main event to put us on the map and we feel it did. Tyler and Zack both showed why they are two of the best technical wrestlers in the world today, But it was Sabre Jr. who continued to dominate in Pro Wrestling Manchester and defeat the former NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate.

Winner: Zack Sabre Jr./B] 65

Showcase Championship

Ricky Knight Jr Vs Joe Nelson Vs Spike Trivet

Two of these Young Lions have had a great start in the promotion in Nelson and Trivet, but Knight is a 3rd Generation wrestler with a wealth of experience for his age. The match belonged to the High Flying Joe Nelson who picked up the pinfall on Ricky Knight Jr for the Showcase Championship.

Winner: Joe Nelson 41

Women's Championship

Martina vs Bobbi Tyler

Women's Champion Martina had a opponent who like her has had a great few year in the UK, America and Japan. Last month she won the Contenders spot for the Women's title and she went to battle with Session Moth Martina.

Martina retained her Championship after hitting the Codebreaker On Tyler for the win,

Winner: Martina 50

Aussie Open Vs Young Guns Vs Perfect Dynasty

This match featured 3 awesome tag team in PWM at the minute and all three showed why they will be a force here, But was Frog & Bucket Favourates Aussie Open who picked up the win when Mark Davis Pinned Ethan Allen.

Winners: Aussie Open 46

Timothy Thatcher Vs Mike Baily

On paper we though this match would be great but both men didn't click.

The finish saw Thatcher get the pin for the win.

Winner: Timothy Thatcher 39

After the event Doug Williams came out and announced that the next Uprising would be the last. The promotion would be going to two events a month. One smaller event mainly featuring the Showcase Talent and Monthly events with different names including the Battle Of Britain Tournament.

January 2021

Last year was a great year to debut Pro Wrestling Manchester. There was quite a few new promotions that opened up in the area and we are glad we are one of the many who are still going and gaining followers.

It terms of what we have achieved we are pleased that we were able to push Wrestlers like Joe Nelson, The Anti-Fun Police and The Young Guns, We are happy with how we have had Zack Sabre Jr. stand tall with the PWM Championship and are delighted with having names such as Timothy Thatcher and Tyler Bate Wrestle for our fans.

2021 looks to be a bright future for us and we have so much planned out. Like we announced we are going to be running two shows a month now. The extra show will be a monthly show called Tuesday Night Graps where we can showcase the Young Lions of wrestling and there will be another monthly show with different names. I will be responsible

for them and Doug will be mainly running the TNG shows.
