TWA (C-Verse): The Ballad of Mad Dog Mortimer

Hi folks. I decided to do one more diary in the 2016 section mainly because I have not had a decently long running diary at all during this generation of TEW.

I have a love, hate relationship when it comes to writing diaries on here. Sometimes I think, “Am I really writing fanfiction for a video game that nobody is going to read.” However then I am like, “Yeah but I enjoy it sometimes, so why not do it again.”

Now someone might ask, "Why this is called the Ballad of Mad Dog Mortimer. There is no real reason. I mean he is on the roster but he is not going to be the focal point. Some of my prior diaries had that title, which I ripped off from GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony, and so I thought I would continue the tradition.

Well here I am doing it again, ten years after my very first diary. I hope some people enjoy it.

Logan Diaz & Taylor Kidd vs. The Minnesota Hit Squad

Match:

The first ever match in the history of TWA was nothing more than a glorified squash match.

While yes Logan Diaz did have an impressive match, it was not enough for him and Taylor to pick up a win.

Ray and Seth were able to pick up the victory after Ray nailed Taylor with a Spinning Back Fist knocking the young Canadian to the canvas.

Three seconds later the Minnesota Hit Squad became the answer to the trivia question, “Who won the first match in TWA history?”

[We now head to the back for the first time tonight as we see the members of Club Deluxe (Quentin Queen, Ashton Barnaby, and Zach Rudge) having a conversation in the hallway.]

Quentin Queen: Look guys I am not trying to be a prick or anything. However, as leader of Club Deluxe I feel the urgent need to remind you two that I do not want you making us look bad tonight.

Ashton Barnaby: Uh...what? Since when are you our leader?

Did I miss a team meeting or something?

Quentin Queen: Clearly you did…

I mean, of course I am the leader. After all, my father did pay for your training. Without my father’s backing, the two of you would be playing video games all day and then working at the Seven-Eleven at night.

So yes by virtue of my father giving you money to fund your future vocation...I am the leader.

Zach Rudge: He does have a point Ash…

Ashton Barnaby: Perhaps...whatever dude. Look we are not going to embarrass you or your father tonight. We’ll beat the Braves no problem…

Quentin Queen: Confidence! That’s what I like to hear! There is no room for losers in Club Deluxe. Now go out there and show the world just how good you two are!

The Braves vs. Club Deluxe

Match:

This was a highly entertaining back and forth match between two teams who were willing to put it all out on the line in order to achieve victory.

Zach and Ashton looked to make good on their promise to Quentin earlier as they did all the underhanded things they could to win.

In the end the Braves were the better team as Ace nailed Ashton with a Flying Tomahawk Chop for the victory.

Winners: The Braves

[it is now time to head to the backstage interview area where TWA’s backstage correspondent Tabitha Lowenstein is standing by with Hustle Muvva.]

Tabitha Lowenstein: Hustle, in just a few short minutes you are going to be stepping into the ring with Mad Dog Mortimer. How do you prepare for such a crazed, rabid opponent?

Hustle Muvva: Short answer baby girl...you don’t. Tonight I’m gonna throw the playbook out the window and do what I do best and that is hustle. I could have watched hours of film trying to see what Mad Dog do, but at the end of the day when someone is crazy you can’t study for that.

Mad Dog you might be a crazed, raid man...dog...hell I don’t know what you supposed to be. But tonight I’m gonna to be the dog catcher and I’m gonna send your ass to the pound. Maybe a good family will adopt your ass and train you.

[With that Hustle walks off set and Tabitha just smiles and shrugs her shoulders as we head back to the ring for the next match.]

Hustle Muvva vs. Mad Dog Mortimer

Match:

This was an “interesting” match as Mad Dog acted like a dog throughout the match. At various points he would start biting Hustle’s legs or at one point Mad Dog lifted up his leg and pretended to pee on Hustle.

This did not matter though as Hustle was able to overcome Mad Dog’s antics and pick up a victory at he downed Mad Dog with a Hustler’s Headbutt.

Winner: Hustle Muvva

[it is now time to head to the backstage interview area where CJ Weston and Gregory Henderson are standing by.]

CJ Weston: Tank Bradley I want you to take a long hard look at the man standing next to me. This man is the future of professional wrestling.

This man is a stud...a true athlete. He wrestled in the SWF against some of the greatest wrestlers in the world.

You on the other hand are a flabby, middle-aged, has been...or should I say never was...garbage wrestler who is in the twilight of his career.

Now one might question just why you are willing to get into the ring with my client. But then again why would anyone question stupidity? After all, you have taken multiple chair shots to the head and therefore you are not functioning at a high-level of mental acuity.

Tank I would tell you to back out of the main event tonight...but if I did so I might as well whistle in the wind because you are too stupid to understand what I am saying to you. So what I am going to say is this…

I want you to step into the ring with my client tonight...because I want you to see how painfully outclassed you are by my client.

Gregory Henderson: Tank...I can’t wait to show you what a fool you are tonight. I hope you saved up your money old man because after I beat you tonight...you’re going to realize that you can’t hack it in the ring anymore and you will basically be forced to retire. Which is something you should have done a few years ago.

I would say I pity you Tank. But then again I don’t have pity for the stupid. See you in the ring man.

[CJ and Gregory laugh before they both walk off screen. We head down to the ring for our next match.]

Chet Chavez vs. Quentin Queen

Match:

Quentin (QQ) clearly had a gameplan heading into this match but it was chucked out the window as Chet ran full-speed at Quentin and nailed him with a missile dropkick, knocking QQ down to the canvas.

That seemed to be the theme of the match, with Chet trying to impose his fast-paced style of working on QQ who wanted to take the match slower.

At various points in the match QQ stepped out of the ring to try and come up with a strategy that could be used to combat the high flying menace.

Chet and QQ brawled a ringside before taking the match back into the ring.

QQ was soon able to devise a winning strategy as a quick thumb to the eye followed with his finisher, the Q-Ball was enough to secure QQ a victory.

Winner: Quentin Queen

Time: 16:57

Match Rating: 25

[We now head backstage to the dressing room of Raphael. Raphael is busy admiring his reflection in the mirror when his girlfriend/manager Heather B enters the room. Heather stands behind Raphael for a moment admiring her man before smiling and saying.]

Heather B: Omg babe you look super amazing tonight. I am super turned on right now.

[Raphael smiles and looks at Heather for a moment, through her reflection in the mirror, before returning his gaze back to himself.]

Raphael: Yes I totally do. I truly am half man and half amazing.

Heather B: Do you have to fight tonight? Can you stay here and get physical with me instead…

[Raphael once again looks at Heather but this time he actually faces her instead of just looking at her through his mirror.]

Raphael: Oh trust me there is nothing more I would love to do than that. But I have to fight tonight.

After all, it takes a lot of money to look as good as I do. Living a healthy lifestyle does not just take physical dedication but it also takes money.

I mean I am a stud and all but even I cannot just waltz into Whole Foods and expect to get stuff for free just because I am the best looking man on the planet.

Heather B: You totally could though babe…

Raphael: Yeah you’re right I totally could…oh well I want to fight tonight so that I can turn you on. I want to prove to you once again that I am the alpha male. I want you to get turned on while you watch me pummel this fool Teddy Gibson…

Heather B: Mmm, you’re already turning me on and you haven’t even got all sweaty yet…

Raphael: Teddy, I am super sorry that you are not on my level dude. Blame it on poor genetics son…oh and don’t hate me because I am beautiful.

Match:

This match featured good back and forth action.

Neither man really seemed to have much of an advantage in this match, despite Raphael claims of being the genetically superior athlete, he had a tough time trying to pick up the victory.

It was not until Heather B hopped up on the ropes and distracted Referee Jez McArthuer, that Raphael was able to take control of the match.

While the referee was distracted Raphael hit Teddy with a low blow.

A few moments later Raphael nailed Teddy with a Cupid’s Arrow and that was all she wrote for Teddy on this night.

Winner: Raphael

Time: 14:04

Match Rating: 38

[After the match was over with Heather B enters the ring and runs right over to Raphael. She then proceeds to leap into his arms while wrapping her legs around his torso. The two then proceed to have a makeout session in the middle of the ring. The grossed out fans boo disapprovingly but that does not stop Heather and Raphael.]

[Luckily for the views at home we leave the couple and head to the backstage interview area where Mya Caalan and her team Notorious are standing by. Mya, who is wearing a black blazer, white blouse, and black pencil skirt, begins to speak.]

Mya Catalan: For those of you who do not know me my name is Mya Catalan and I am the head of Catalan Enterprises. My men here...they are my investment...they are known as Notorious.

Tonight my men will step into the ring against the San Juan Saints. A formidable duo no doubt...but a duo that is not in the same league as my boys.

My boys are going to show the entire TWA tag team division just why they are called Notorious and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

San Juan Saints vs. Notorious with Mya Catalan

Match:

The bell rings and Miguel Rivera offers to shake Xavi Ferrera as a sign of sportsmanship.

Xavi looks out into the crowd as if to ask the fans what he should do, the fans resoundly yell no. Xavi then looks at his partner Apollo, Apollo echoes the fans and implores Xavi not to shake Miguel’s hand.

Miguel does not heed the advice and instead shakes Miguel’s hand and due to this Miguel swiftly kicks Xavi in the gut. This cheapshot draws Apollo into the ring, which in turn draws Carlos Barera into the ring and a chaotic brawl ensues.

All four men take their fight out of the ring as they begin to brawl around the ringside area.

At one point Apollo tosses Carlos into the guardrail and you can just see the agony on Carlos’ face as he grabs his back in pain.

Referee Jez McArthuer manages to corral the two teams back inside of the ring and it is at this point that Notorious isolate Xavi in their corner.

The next few minutes of the match see Notorious isolate Xavi and keep him on their side of the ring.

Every time Xavi was about to tag Apollo into the match the members of Notorious would cut him off.

Mya wanted to get involved in the match, so Carlos taunted the fiery Apollo, who then tried to enter the ring only to be told by Jez to get back into his corner. When this happened Miguel grabbed Xavi and brought him over to the ring ropes, where Mya repeatedly slapped Xavi in the face.

That might have been a mistake as these disrespectful slaps seemed to ignite something in Xavi.

Xavi began to fight his way back to his corner and he hot tagged Apollo into the ring.

Apollo cleared Miguel and Carlos out of the ring, lifting Carlos over his (Apollo) head and tossing Carlos out of the ring.

The fans go nuts as Apollo waves his arms up and down trying to get the crowd even more hyped.

It is at this point that Mya jumps up on the ring apron and begins yelling at Apollo.

Apollo laughs at Mya as she continues to distract him.

Finally, Apollo kisses an obviously disgusted Mya which did provide some comic relief but would turn out to be a very poor decision on Apollo’s part.

Because while he was busy kissing Mya, Carlos re-entered the ring and hit Apoll from behind with a low blow.

Carlos then nails Apollo with his finisher the Drop Off and three seconds later Notorious were able to secure the victory.

Winners: Notorious

Time: 16:41

[We now head to the backstage interview area for the last time tonight. Tabitha is standing by with Tank Bradley.]

Tabitha Lowenstein: Tank by now I am sure you have heard what Gregory and CJ have said about you. Do you have any response to their comments?

Tank Bradley: Response? Yeah I’ve got a response…

You guys talk a lot of trash about be. Saying I’m over the hill, broken down, and stupid. Well that’s fine with me because I ain’t about talking trash...no...I let my fists do da talking in the ring. And tonight Greg, ya gonna see just how washed up I am.

Tank Bradley vs. Gregory Henderson with CJ Weston

Match:

Before the match even started CJ started jawing at Tank, which caused the notorious hot-headed Tank to go charging after CJ.

This was a stupid mistake on the part of Tank as Gregory attacked him from behind.

Gregory threw everything in his playbook to end Tank, but none of it was ever enough.

Fore it did not matter what Gregory did as Tank was able to muster up the intestinal fortitude to get back up and fight back.

Even CJ’s interference from the outside of the ring was no help.

The fans went wild as Tank kept on thwarting the cocky heel and his meddling manager.

But sadly for Tank he was always fighting a two-on-one battle and those were not odds he could overcome.

The ending sequence of the match saw Gregory pin Tank only to have Tank kick out.

Gregory then got up and got into Referee Jez McArthuer’s face, complaining about Jez’s slow count and also blocking Jez’s view of CJ and Tank.

CJ entered the ring and nailed Tank in the head with his (CJ) cane, the dazed Tank stumbled forward and was swiftly met with a Rain Drop.

Three seconds later Gregory Henderson secured the first ever main event victory in TWA history.

Winner: Gregory Henderson

Time: 14:05

Match Rating: 39

[After the match was done a still dazed and enraged Tank got up off the canvas and began attacking Gregory. CJ began whacking Tank with the cane on the back to no effect. Tank turned his attention towards CJ, who begged Tank not to touch him. CJ’s pleas fell on deaf ears as Tank began peppering CJ with strikes.

It is at this point that the Minnesota Hit Squad rushed down to the ring and came to the aid of CJ and Gregory. Ray nailed Tank with a Spinning Back Fist as Seth swept Tank’s right leg, causing Tank to fall down on to the canvas.

Ray, Gregory, and Seth then proceed to beatdown the now defenless Tank. CJ for his part stood by and directed the other three. While brutal this attack did not last long as Hustle Muvva rushed down to the ring wielding a steel chair (he even managed to clip Seth in the back with said chair as Seth was fleeing from the ring). The heels, wanting to not get hit by a chair, fled the ring and head back towards the backstage area.

The show came to an end as Hustle checked on his bloodied friend.]

See now that I eliminated those posts people are going to be like..."What the hell is Aurora talking about?" and I will just smile and say, "I haven't a clue."

Seriously though, I laughed when I read your comment so thank you for that.

Post Show Thoughts:

1. First off, I just want to thank everyone who took the time to either read, skim, or whatever one does. I appreciate anyone who takes a look at this.

I am not someone who thinks I am writing a master work of fiction. This is fan fiction after all. That being said it is always nice to know there are people out there willing to read what I wrote.

Also, yes I did wait until Leap Day to post my first show because I am lame and I thought it would be cool to have my first show posted today.

2. I already regret renaming Sweet Tabitha to Tabitha Lowenstein. I mean it is not a big deal but it is a minor annoyance to type out Lowenstein every time I have her talk.

I mean I guess I could just write Tabitha, but it just feels odd to me to have an interviewer with no last name. Maybe it is just one of my quirks, who knows.

3. The interviews for this show and for the first four shows (That is what I have in the can, so this will last four shows at the very least) were/are very heel-centric. I am not sure why that is the case but I am aware of it.

Perhaps it is easier to write heel promos for me. I am not sure.

4. As of right now there will be no prediction contest for this diary. I never get many to take part in it anyway and with the diary section not as strong as it once was (Talking viewership wise. There are plenty of great C-Verse and RW diaries out there still) it just does not seem worth it.

That being said I will run votes every so often where the readers will be able to decide certain things that will happen in this diary.

5. Finally, Tank Bradley sucks. I mean we're talking Brimstone territory here (Though unlike Brimstone he is not hurting people left and right). To my knowledge I do not recall ever using him in a TEW16 game and so I did not know just how bad he is.

But the dude is tanking match ratings (no pun intended) left and right. Popularity wise I think he is my number one face (I am not totally sure because I do not have the game open right now) and so I have been putting him in the main event but he just drags every match he is in down to the pits of hell.

Then to top it all off he is on the cusp of terminal decline. Part of me is thinking about just firing him and cutting my losses but that is something I never do, so I am not sure if I will do it now.

I don't really play C verse, more a real world or Rockverse girl myself but it's always interesting to read from the beginning. Seeing these renders it makes me realize what a great job the re render people have done and how far the tech has moved in the last few years. Loved the did I miss a meeting bit. Damn it's been ten years since your first diary? Are you serious? For comparison I looked at my profile and I started my diary in 2010 so I guess we started diaries around the same time?

Anyway glad to see this one rolling. I read the first show and it's like you never left Sucks about Tank Bradley. Raphael and Heather are fun, and you should feature Mad Dog Mortimer more LOL he's the star of the show, after all

[unlike the previous show, this show opens with a short video opener. We are then shown a shot of the live crowd as Rob L Miskovsky and Whistler welcome us to the show. They then give a brief rundown of the matches on tonight’s show before we head down to the ring for the first match of the night.]

Logan Diaz vs. Quentin Queen

Match:

This match featured some good back and forth action during the first few minutes.

Logan was once again very impressive in this competitive match.

Sadly for Logan it was all for nothing as he took the loss after Quentin downed him with his finisher the Q-Ball.

Winner: Quentin Queen

Time: 7:59

Match Rating: 39

[We are now shown a brief video with Tabitha Lowenstein where she is discussing TWA.com and the various features on the site. After that brief sales pitch is over we return to the ring where Mya Catalan is in the center of the ring. Behind her is a big hulking dude who looks like he would be perfectly cast as muscle in a 1940’s gangster film.]

Mya Catalan: For those of you who do not know me, my name is Mya Catalan and I am the head of Catalan Enterprises. Standing behind me is one of the most dangerous men in professional wrestling today...Bull Wrecker. He is the enforcer of Catalan Enterprises and there is nothing he enjoys more than beating anyone up who dares to cross me.

[Mya hands the microphone back to the ring announcer who announces the next two combatants of the night.]

Taylor Kidd vs. Bull Wrecker with Mya Catalan

Match:

The poor young Canadian Taylor Kidd did not stand a chance against the debuting Bull.

This match would have been over a lot sooner, but Mya instructed Bull to keep on inflicting more pain, instructions which Bull gladly adhered to.

Finally, Bull put Taylor out of his misery but not before nailing Taylor with a Pancake Maker.

Winner: Bull Wrecker

Time: 5:37

Match Rating: 40

[CJ Weston, who is followed by his charges Seth Whitehead, Ray Snow, and Gregory Henderson, heads over to the announcer’s table and grabs a microphone from off the announcer’s table. CJ peers out into the crowd for a moment before he speaks.]

CJ Weston: I could have requested some interview time and had that bimbo ask me a bunch of inane questions. But no...I don’t have time for that. You see I have been informed that my guys are going to have to fight tonight in the main event.

Their opponents are going to be Hustle Muvva and that washed up bum Tank Bradley. I was informed by management that Tank and Hustle do have the option of having a third member added to their team but, and let’s be honest here, nobody in their right mind would choose to align themselves with two waste of spaces like Tank and Hustle…

[Just then the fans start to cheer as the catch sight of Tank, Hustle, and Kip Keenan making their way over to the announcer’s desk. CJ and his boys are not happy about this. A member of the ring crew hands Kip a microphone and Kip smiles.]

Kip Keenan: You know CJ I think you are right. Nobody in their right mind would want to tag with Tank and Hustle. But...everyone always tells me that I am not in my right mind. So I guess that means I make the perfect partner for these guys...

[Nothing further is said as a brawl breaks out between the six men. The heels actually get the upper hand, thanks in large part to it being a four on three situation. But the fight is quickly broken up by security.]

Teddy Gibson vs. Mad Dog Mortimer

Match:

Mad Dog did his usual “dog” antics in this match like lifting his leg up to “pee” on a downed Teddy and humping Referee Jez McArthuer’s leg.

This made for a comical match that fans seemed to enjoy.

In the end, Teddy was able to secure his first victory in TWA after he downed Mad Dog with a Snap Tackle.

Winner: Teddy Gibson

Match Rating: 30

[We are now taken to the backstage area where the members of Club Deluxe are having a team meeting.]

Quentin Queen: You know guys you really disappointed me last month. You guys had one thing to do and you failed to do it. I mean how hard could it possibly be to beat two nothings like the Braves?

Ashton you especially let me down because it was you who ate the pin...I felt so gutted that you could not do better. Especially after you questioned my leadership last month.

I hope you now see the error of your ways. After all I am the only member of this group that picked up the w…

Zach Rudge: But...Quentin our loss to the Braves last week wasn’t my fault. It was Ashton who was pinned not me…

After all, we are an elite group and we cannot have a loser as a member of our club. It is bad enough that I had to bump you down to junior member of the club after your loss last month.

Quentin Queen: What the hell what? Look you are very lucky you are still part of our club. I can only tolerate being around losers for so long.

Ashton Barnaby: Whatever...come on Zach we have a match…

San Juan Saints vs. Club Deluxe

Match:

This started off as a good back and forth match with neither team having much of an advantage.

Club Deluxe soon took over as they isolated Xavi in their corner.

After a few minutes of isolation it looked like Quentin would be happy with the outcome of this match as his stablemates were clearly marching their way to victory.

That all changed when Xavi was able to fight his way out of the Club’s corner.

Xavi then hot tagged Apollo into the match and Apollo cleaned house.

Apollo dropped Ashton with an Island Driver and three seconds later the Saints secured the victory.

Winners: San Juan Saints

[We now head over to the interview area where Tabitha Lowenstein is standing by with CJ Weston.]

Tabitha Lowenstein: CJ, earlier tonight you said that nobody would be dumb enough to agree to team with Hustle and Tank. Yet moments after you made your statement Kip Keenan came out and said he would be joining Hustle and Tank in the main event to take on your boys.

My question to you is are you at all worried now that the sides are even?

[CJ with a clear worried look on his face lets out a nervous chuckle before saying...]

CJ Weston: Me worried...do I look worried Tabitha?

Tabitha Lowenstein: Um...you kinda sort of do. If I am being honest....

[CJ, still looking nervous, rolls his eyes.]

CJ Weston: Of course I am not worried and my guys are not worried either.

You see Tabitha tonight my guys are going to be taking on an eclectic group of losers. You have Tank who is a washed up bum, you have Hustle who is as dumb as the day is long, and you have Kip who is as green as the grass.

Those three losers have no chance against my elite group of three. Neither me or my boys are even remotely stressed out over the prospects of having to step into the ring with the wrestling equivalent of the Bad News Bears.

[CJ walks out of the interview area.]

[it is now once again time to head backstage, this time we are brought to the dressing room of Raphael who is sitting down in a chair admiring his reflection in the mirror in front of him. Raphael’s girlfriend Heather B is standing directly behind Raphael and she is rubbing his shoulders.]

Raphael: You know sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and I can’t help but think I am half man and half amazing…

Heather B.: No baby...you’re all man and all amazing.

[Raphael briefly thinks over what Heather has just said, before nodding his head in agreement.]

Raphael: You’re right sweetie, I am always selling myself short. I am all man and I am all amazing.

Heather B.: Mmm...you know how to turn me on. You are looking hot af right now baby.

So hot that I just want to have a little fun with you before your match...

Raphael: As much as I would love to do that sweetie, you know I can’t. You have a way of tiring me out and that is not something I can have happen tonight.

After all I cannot allow Chet Chavez to get any kind, albeit it small, advantage tonight. No fun time will have to wait until after the match is over with.

Plus then I will be the conquering hero and I know how much that turns you on.

Heather B.: Yeah baby you are making me hot right now just thinking of you standing in the center of the ring. Sweat pouring off your body after having beaten Chet...mmm...I might have to take a cold shower because I am so hot for you right now.

Raphael: Sadly there is no time for that. You just have to channel all of that pent up sexual energy towards cheering me on as I once again prove there is no man in the promotion better than me.

Heather B.: That’s fact baby…

Raphael: It sure is. Oh and don’t hate me because I am beautiful.

Buying into his own hype, Raphael was clearly not prepared for just how challenging a match Chet was going to give him.

This was a very competitive match with both men getting some near falls in.

As with last month Heather’s timely interference in the match helped her boyfriend secure another victory.

In order to pickup said victory, Raphael nailed Chet with his finisher Cupid’s Arrow.

[After the match is done Raphael slaps the still downed Chet across the face. Heather enters the ring and jumps up into Raphael’s arms while wrapping her legs around Raphael (Which I have recently been told is called the Bachelor handshake by fans of the Bachelor/Bachelorette. I have never watched either show but I find the term funny.). The two then begin to make-out in the ring as the fans boo and some fans are shown to be dry heaving.]

[We once again head to the interview area where Tabitha is standing by with Kip Keenan, Tank Bradley, and Hustle Muvva.]

Tabitha Lowenstein: Guys in just a few short minutes the three of you are going to be taking on CJ Weston’s group in the main event. CJ is had some not to kind things to say about the three of you.

Do you care to address anything that he has said?

Tank Bradley: I’m good...I’ll let my fists do the responding in the ring tonight.

Kip Keenan: Yeah you know I find it interesting how Ray, Gregory, and Seth allow CJ to do the talking for them. I am not sure if they are cowards or not. Maybe they are not smart of enough to say anything. But that doesn’t matter...CJ you can keep on suffering from diarrhea of the mouth.

Here’s the thing though, you don’t have to get in the ring with us. Your boys do...so you’re good. But your boys aren’t.

Hustle Muvva: That’s right baby. You see tonight we’re going to kick a little ass, take some names and y’all are going to feel the hustle and flow.

Y’all can talk all the trash in the world but once we get between those ropes it will be on like Donkey Kong and you three are going to wish your boy CJ knew enough to keep his mouth shut.

Match:

This match was bedham personified as all six men began fighting each other right at the start of the match.

Referee Jez McArthuer tried desperately to enforce some law and order of the match and he was finally able to do so.

Soon the heels were able to isolate Kip in their corner and they trio began to gang up on him.

They did all of the typical heel tactics as a way of keeping Kip isolated from his partners.

Finally, Hustle and Tank had had enough and both men entered the ring and an all out brawl began to happen once again.

This time all six men began fighting throughout the arena.

Nobody paid attention to Jez’s ten count and therefore the match ended with both teams being counted out.

This match ended in a double countout, therefore there are no winners.

As much as I enjoy playing as the SWF, I do prefer playing at this level more. The only big problem I have is I tend to use the same workers over and over again (Jerry Martin, Kip Keenan, Hustle Muvva, etc.)

I don't really play C verse, more a real world or Rockverse girl myself but it's always interesting to read from the beginning. Seeing these renders it makes me realize what a great job the re render people have done and how far the tech has moved in the last few years. Loved the did I miss a meeting bit. Don't fire Tank! I mean, actually do probably fire him because he's awful and he will not get any better at all.. I liked the first show and I'll be following along.

Yeah Tank just sucks. I hired him for his high popularity (relative to the rest of the roster) and did not really pay attention to his stats or his bio. That was wrong on my part.

The last time I recall using him in a TEW game was when he was in DAVE. So I was not fully aware of how much he sucked.

That being said I will probably not fire him, because I never fire anyone. Sadly though I did give him a three year contract.

Damn it's been ten years since your first diary? Are you serious? For comparison I looked at my profile and I started my diary in 2010 so I guess we started diaries around the same time?

Just looked at my first diary. I posted the first post on 09/27/2009.

Though if you want to be technical about it my first diary on here was my Big Brother diary the Compound. That was started prior to my NYCW diary, but I do not know when that first started as it was taken down a couple of months ago when the old mafia section was eliminated.

Mad Dog Mortimer is the star but I have no idea how to write a Mad Dog interview. I did have one in another diary where he barked like a dog much like Rick Steiner so maybe that is the way he communicates.

Post Show Thoughts:

1. When I was going through my document prior to posting the first show I thought for sure Kip was on that first show. Apparently not, he was on the pre-show (Which I never post because I often I have wrestler's who have yet to debut in the diary wrestler on there like Bull Wrecker) so it must be weird to have him just pop up on this show and expect people to know who he is.

What happened was I wrote the first show in late 2018 and sat on it. I was not sure if I wanted to do a diary again. Then I picked up the save again a few months ago and began writing more shows. By that point I had the vast majority of the first five shows written so I thought I might as well post them.

Therefore, there could be some weird errors like what happened with Kip. But it is just because I forgot what I wrote some sixteen months later.

2. Every single time I see that Taylor Kidd render I think of him as Jordan Oliver from MLW. They look so much alike, part of me wants to make Taylor as annoying as Jordan is. But that will not happen anytime soon.

3. Despite being best friends in the game Zach and Ashton have no chemistry as a tag team. Which is why I am currently doing the Club Deluxe drama. I am not sure if I will break them up but it does suck that they have such poor chemistry.

4. I also wanted to add, that if someone posts something in this diary and I do not respond right away. That is not me trying to be rude, I just would rather not bump other diaries down who have new content.

I do read every comment and I do appreciate anyone who takes the time to comment. I just do not want people to think that I ignore anyone.

Oh, I didn´t realize that but I guess it explains why I like it so much.

I occasionally try playing with bigger promotions but I have never had an actual game with one. Just feels like too much set-up to do before I really get started and I could never bother to figure out the differences between playing with big promotion after always playing with small (yeah, I´m lazy ) As for using same workers, I don´t think it´s bad habit as long as there is some fresh faces. After all, setting up and figuring gimmicks etc. for everyone can take some time to do and having few guys who you already have ideas based on previous games helps speed things up and helps you to get familiar with your roster faster as you have less newer faces to figure out. Plus, having familiar faces who´s performance level you know before hand helps setting up the starting feuds as you can put someone who you know can perform in one of the bigger storylines in order to avoid situation were your supposed main storyline is tanked because the guys you picked weren´t as good as you thought they would be.

that was trying and eventually successful in eliminating him. </li><li>A livid Bull Wrecker tired to reenter the ring but security managed to keep him on and force him to leave the ringside area. </li><li>At various points in the match both Seth and Gregory would come to the aid of Taylor. Trying to protect him so that they could eliminate him when it was advantageous for them to do so. </li><li>Ashton was the next to be eliminated from the match by Tank. After all, setting up and figuring gimmicks etc. for everyone can take some time to do and having few guys who you already have ideas based on previous games helps speed things up and helps you to get familiar with your roster faster as you have less newer faces to figure out. Plus, having familiar faces who´s performance level you know before hand helps setting up the starting feuds as you can put someone who you know can perform in one of the bigger storylines in order to avoid situation were your supposed main storyline is tanked because the guys you picked weren´t as good as you thought they would be.</div></blockquote> I highlighted the word tanked because that is very much the situation I find myself in with Tank Bradley. As I said before I do not recall using him in TEW16. I think the last time I used him might have been way back in TEW10. Therefore, I was not expecting what I got from him which was that he truly sucked. I would love to push Logan Diaz/Wolfsbaine because he always seems to put on the best matches but he is simply not popular enough yet. <div style="text-align:center;">Post Show Thoughts:</div> 1. I honestly have none in regards to this show. I guess I could talk about the two new debuts in this show in El Hijo Del Neutron and Preston Fuller. I have always wanted to use Preston in a diary. He's not a star and will never be one, but he is someone I tend to sign a lot in personal games. In his bio it says that he was born in Lithuania. My question is why is he named Preston Fuller, that does not seem like a Lithuanian name to me. Neutron has an good upside in the star quality department and he was not signed by any other company so I signed him up. Right now MLW is my favorite wrestling promotion and I love how they bring in wrestlers from around the globe to compete in their promotion. That was my inspiration in bringing Neutron into the fold. 2. Also, I got rid of the match ratings for this show. Unless they are really bad or really good I do not see the point in adding them and so I have stopped doing so starting with this show.

Thank you Hyde. It is good to see you back on the site, I remember way back when, when you were TNA's biggest booster on this site. It was good back then, now not so much.

Felipe Caballero is someone who I usually sign in my MAW games but I am not sure what I would do with him in a diary game. Then again I could say that about half the roster for this diary as well.

I really do not like to eat away at their overness. In the back of my head I always feel like I can come up with something for him down the road. I actually have an idea of putting him into a tag team with another ex-DAVE wrestler but I am not sure if I want to add yet another worker to this already bloated roster.
