CONRAD THOMPSON:Hey hey it's Conrad and your listening to . . . SOMETHING TO WRESTLE WITH . . . . . BRUCE PRITCHARD . . . . Bruce whats going on maaaaannn how are you ?

BRUCE PRITCHARD: FEELING GOOD MAN feeling good . . . . a special episode today . . . . . . its got me all excited . . . . i dug out the diary's and i found 1991 if you will . . . . and what a vintage year this was

CONRAD THOMPSON: That's right Bruce a very special episode as we look at 1991 in chronological order we have a day by day account from your diary . . . . Just how detailed is that thing Bruce

BRUCE: Oh its detailed i read through January week 1 and its like i was back living it again . . . .

CONRAD THOMPSON: great stuff i am really looking forward to this Bruce we are going to talk about all sorts of behind the scenes rumour and innuendo . . . the hiring's and firings, the scandal and salacious, the fact not fiction the whys and why not's . . . .

BRUCE: That's right Conrad. . . . its one hell of a year . . which after reviewing it i realised it has it all ..... new talent and old talent . . . .its the year that Vince changed his stance on things from the beginning of the year when he made a ruling on how the talent conducted themselves backstage and there wellness outside of the business was looked at . . . .

CONRAD THOMPSON: it was one hell of a year so lets get started at the very beginning . . . . January 1st 1991 where why and . . . .

BRUCE: Well i had a hangover from hell that morning i was at home we had a family shindig . . . i was parting until 3am and i have written here vince called at 5am

CONRAD: Why on earth did he call you @ 5am on new years day . . . .

BRUCE: We was meant to run an A show at St. Louis, MO - Arena - on December 30, 1990 but it was cancelled due to inclement weather in Chicago . . . . i remember him being pissed that we didn't call it earlier and send warrior and savage to the B show to boost merch sales . . . he didn't understand the term snowed in means . . . .we were snowed in . . . .

CONRAD: Sounds like a Vince thing . . . what else did he have to say . . .

BRUCE: Well he had just had a phone call from a reporter asking for Vince's comments on Bobby Heenan was arrested after he collapsed on an air plane. The Police found 48 grams of marijuana and narcotic paraphernalia in his baggage. Drugs was not a new thing we have had many taps on the shoulder about drug abuse in within the talent . . . its not like today with Marijuana.

CONRAD: So is this when he lays out the wellness policy rules . . .

BRUCE: No No that's later in the day i had to do damage imitation on the bobby thing and take an ass chew out for Mother Nature . . . because of the weather in Chicago . . . Then later in that day he called me and asked me to be at his for 10am on the 2nd

CONRAD:PRONOUNS PAL He being Vince

BRUCE: Yes Vince. . . . so that day i made 50+ phone calls with a stinking hangover . . . i booked tickets and flew to New York a day early as we were due to have a B show at Scranton PA on the 3rd where myself, Pat and Vince were due to meet anyway.

BRUCE: this was the meeting that in my opinion changed the course of the WWF forever . . . . .
