Hi Fleisch, are you planning to make another chronicle series that we could start around late 90s - early 2000s and play through the modern time period?

The 1998 mod has been discontinued currently but the Hart of War mod is based off an earlier version of the mod, and so I recommend it for these purposes.

The 1992 Update is great, I already added quite a lot of the Tijuana folks myself (mostly the Arena Nacionalista / Dinastia Hernandez folks), but it's nice that at least one other person on earth ended up finding out about them too. One thing that still could be added would be Arena Coliseo Guadalajara. CMLL deserves to have a development promotion, even if the game doesn't let you set it up the way it is in reality. Maybe somebody could find out if there is a chance to get a patch that removes the block that prevents a child promotion to have deals with people already signed to the parent.

Anyways I'm very thankful for the work you guys are doing. ❤️

Which Tijuana people did you add that aren't already in? I'm always open to find more

I just had a quick look at people I had set up to debut from notable Tijuana schools, the following list isn't aplphabetic but goes through the schools and I'll only add the ones with a birthdate on Luchawiki, added some members of larger families by just guessing their age:

Casa de Misterio:
Amnesia / Super Máquina Jr
Animaniac
Babe Cobra
Bobby Lee Jr / Ice Cream (the "father" of the CHIKARA team)
Conde Jr. (Brother of Mr. Tempest / Cousin of TJ Boy)
Fabuloso Hernandez / Hilario / Destroyer
Metalika / Metalica (niece of Rey Misterio)
Mortiz
Príncipe Arandú
Red Robin / X-Torm / Spark Jr
Rubi Gardenia / Ruby Gardenia

Arena Nacionalista / Caudillos:
Alas de Oro Jr (Son of El Humilde)
Alex Platino / Platino
El Humilde / Alas de Oro
El Musical
Enemigo Mortal
Gatubela
Iron Boy / Play Boy Jr. (I) (Son of Play Boy & Woman Star)
Jade (not the one in the db)
Killer Dog
La Hija de Gatubela / Sexy Star II
Luminoso / Black Abyss Jr. (Brother of Àngel Mensajero / Black Abyss)
Pequeño Traidor
Puma del Ring / Puma Sol / El Puma
Renegado
Rey Azteca / Crazy Azteca
Tigre Leon / Black Tiger
Woman Star

Arena Coliseo Mexicali (Bobby Martinez):

Batichica
Chango Asesino
Corsario Negro
Tempestad Guerrera Jr.
Tirano
Tronx / Inmortal II
Vaquero Jr. (Baja California)
Voltron / Genio del Aire

Trained with Iron Boy:
Dago Ortiz
Darko
Dinámico / Máscara Aérea (Son of Play Boy & Woman Star)
Divina (Daughter of Play Boy & Woman Star)
Galaxy (Baja California)
Payaso Loco / Crazy Clown / Payaso Maldito

I hope I did add anybody that is in the db but under another spelling or name. A lot of those workers should lead you to the people that only come with a debut date.

Edit:
Almost forgot to mention El Gran Tino, he just wasn't in those schools I checked out, but he either debut at 6 or his debut is 10 years to early on LuchaWiki, but he also won a CMLL title almost 10 years before it was first fought out).

I'd change WCW Power Plant to a Performance Center. In real life, active workers would go to the Power Plant to continue training and PC's are the only way to allow that to happen in TEW.

Not saying you need to change this or anything, just throwing it out there since I made the change in my personal version.

DDP and Steve Austin should probably have a strong friendship, they were incredibly close during their time together in WCW.

Marc Mero and DDP were also very close.

Will wait for Fleisch's call on making Power Plant a PC but those others have been implemented

Probably makes sense to make it a PC thinking about it.

With regards to 2002 Flashpoint, I ended up deciding against updating it at the moment due to not really enjoying it. It doesn't mean its dead or will never be worked on on the future. Only 1 of my mods is dead and that's the 1998 mod (which technically was taken over by someone else). I have to be in the right mindset and want to work on something or I'd just release garbage.

Kendall Windham and Blackjack Mulligan should have their starting absences removed. Kendall returned to the business in January 92.

I don't see how Kendall worked ICWA events in Jan 1992 when his sentence was 24 months and his most recent previous match was May 1990...

People are released early for good behavior, but Kendall's entire arrangement was because of his plea agreement when he was sentenced.

It's not uncommon for non-violent offenders to be released early.

I've now spent nearly an hour looking into this and here is all I've come up with. Kendall was given a 2 year 3 month sentence as part of a plea deal - I can only find articles that say he served the whole sentence and nothing about him being released early. If so, he wouldn't get out until June/July of 1992 (some say he was sentenced in March 1990, some April 1990).

Quote

Pro Wrestling Stories - Once convicted in March of 1990, Mulligan served two years in prison where he claimed it was “more of a camp but still not easy,” plus two years probation.

His son Kendall served 27 months. Everyone else got six months.

Ring the Damn Bell - In 1990, Blackjack Mulligan and his son Kendall Windham were arrested by the US Secret Service in a joint investigation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement over counterfeiting. Over $500,000 in counterfeit 20 dollar bills were seized from their homes. The father and son took a plea deal where they served 2 years in a Federal prison. They were both released in 1992. Ironically, Kendall has since opened up a security firm since his release from prison.

Tampa Bay Times (from May 1990) - A father-and-son professional wrestling team from Tampa was sentenced Tuesday to two years in prison for trying to sell $1-million worth of counterfeit money to undercover agents last December. Kendall Windham, 23, was sentenced to two years and three months, followed by two years' probation. His father, Robert D. Windham, 48, was sentenced to two years, plus two years' probation.

Kendall Windham (Wikipedia) - In 1990, Windham and his father Blackjack Mulligan were arrested by the US Secret Service in a joint investigation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for counterfeiting. The authorities found close to $500,000 in phony $20 bills. As a result of a plea agreement, both father and son spent 24 months in a federal prison and were released in 1992.

Now I'm not saying he wasn't released early, just what I have found out from various articles (I've added a few above), but it would be good to have a link showing he was wrestling in January of that year - or even just who he fought because I'm coming up with nothing but his AJPW tour with Dan Spivey in November - even though I know both Kendall & Blackjack Mulligan worked for Eddie Mansfield's  IWF earlier in the year (Blackjack was def. there in June as he was feuding with Mondo Kleen) I cannot find anything that goes back as far as January for either though.

Until more evidence to the contrary is supplied, they should both come back no earlier than May 1992.

Wrestlingdata.com has Kendall working in January '92:

https://www.wrestlingdata.com/index.php?befehl=bilanzen&wrestler=682&jahr=1992&monat=1

Blackjack, meanwhile, I can't find anything until later in the year. Could it be that Kendall was released earlier, but people have just conflated the two and assumed he got out the same time as Blackjack?

It may be that wrestlingdata is incorrect, but the card seems legit.

Seems to be legit. Cross ref. with other sites for that date and card and he appears on it so guess he did get out earlier. Thanks for the info.

My plan was to have the Diablo X update out by the beginning of March, however I've been a bit busy with work, rehabbing my shoulder and life in general (plus I've been in a more graphics creating mood the last few weeks).

It may now be out mid-March as I've started adding the Hope Academy Pro Wrestling promotion (Danganronpa) but still have more after I finish that I want to get added. Mainly a boost to the free agent pool, venues/locations and updating a few of the companies already in the mod.

The work done so far...

I've added another company, Fighting EX Layer who are going to be the developmental for Street Fighter Extreme. Currently I've added 17 workers to the roster and also 7 on loan workers from other Capcom games to flesh out their roster a little bit.

I think I will spend a bit of time on Venues after I have finished the FEXL company. As I've said, there is a lot more I want to get added before the middle of March.

For Chronicles 92, Kerry Von Erich mistakenly got Kevin Von Erich's Texas Heavyweight Title reign (Texas 228 in the Title Lineages section). This was in version 2.4.

EDIT: Also, Bill Alfonso is set to Heel in his WCW contract. He should be Babyface. Also, I would recommend removing the 100% Heel attribute so that he won't be penalized portraying a babyface, which he would as an unbiased ref. Better As A Heel would probably suit him better.
