Quick question hopefully someone can help me with. I'm a good six months into an AEW save and I'm hemorrhaging money like a ************. I've restructured everyone's contracts to be handshake deals worth only a couple hundred per show and lowered my production costs to the lowest possible without pissing off my networks and sold off the Nightmare Factory. I have also signed broadcasting deals with pretty much every broadcaster that would sign me but still I'm losing money quicker than an addict at a craps table. Any advice?

The issue is kinda where the mod and the in-game economy are at odds with the real world. The game simply isn't built to understand how lucrative TV rights are in the real world, so everything is just based on regional popularity and coverage size of your broadcaster. The mod does a decent job of evaluating how popular feds are by real world standards, but not a great job of evaluating where they are based on in-game mechanics.

AEW will ALWAYS fall to small size immediately after the start because none of the wrestlers are talented/experienced/over enough to support their 60 popularity in the Southeast. The fed can't make enough money because they aren't popular enough in other regions. Before I start, I typically transition them down to small size in the editor by equalizing their popularity to 55 in every region in the US to account for the fact that they've had a solidly national presence since their inception. That goes a LONG way to helping with money problems, and I think more closely reflects their reality when WWE is considered a medium company by mod standards.

I know this answer is basically, "just cheat," but I would try that and see if it makes the experience better. Also, maybe it was hyperbole, but signing broadcast deals with "pretty much every broadcaster" might be cannibalizing revenue if any of them are free-to-air.

Yeah, I've finally got to a point where I'm at least making a couple grand at the end of the month. My wage bill is nowhere near as high as it used to be and yes, I've signed with most of the broadcasters that would sign me. I may or may not have panic signed lol. Thank you for pointing out the free-to-air thing because now I'm wondering if I should 86 my deals with YouTube for Dark.

Also, moving Dark and Dynamite to separate days has helped a ton. Twice the ticket revenue lol.

I'm not sure if this is just TEW being random or if this is something you can prevent but I'm six months deep into a save and WWE has fired Braun, Alexa, Becky (who is still on maternity leave which is just... oof), Rey and Sheamus. I know WWE drops down in pop really easily so I can get them trimming the fat but those names seem like they should be popular enough to not get the pink slip. If it's just TEW being TEW, at least someone can get a chuckle out of it like I did lol.

Honestly the relationship with WWE seems pointless in them not signing iMPACT talent seeing as how they make no qualms about it especially with recent signings of MSK and now Taya. Guess add FinnJuice to iMPACT and a Working relationship at least with NJPW. Not sure if they still got a working relationship with RoH or not so can't really say about that alliance but NJPW is at least at the moment working with AEW as KENTA has appeared there and FinnJuice as appeared in iMPACT :)

Add Black Taurus to iMPACT he is now apart of Decay.

Remove Gabrielle Loren from iMPACT

Add Gia Miller she is also a wrestler in Alabama area and is Ace Austin's girlfriend. (wouldn't imagine her stats all around would be very high her first match was 2019 and hasn't been interviewing long)

Big Show has signed with AEW.

I finally made the jump over to TEW 2020 and am happy to see your mod still going strong. I wanted to request a few wrestlers.

Kevin Ku (MLW wrestler and member of Team Fifthly)

Brett Ison (SUP Bad Ass)

O'Shay Edwards (Indy star who has recently started for ROH)

Lee Moriarty (GCW Standout)

AC Mack (Action Wrestling Ace)

I know some or more obscure than others but all are featured prominently on IWTV. If you could add some or all of them I would appreciate it. Thanks either way and keep up the good work.

So here is the update for March, few bits of bigs news this month, firstly I've added a few attributes for some workers, not everyone has been done but a good chunk has, roughly somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4. Along with that there has been a change up in active Canadian promotions, I've retired Northern Championship Wrestling (NCW), and replaced them with International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS) and North Shore Pro Wrestling (NSPW), DEFY is still on my list of promotions to add but their not running and I wont add them till they do. Now for the real biggie, to prep for those promotion changes I added a few workers, specifically going through 2020 and 2021 results on cagematch and seeing who had profiles and who were not in the mod, for this month I went through Canada and Oceania as well as adding anyone missing featured on AEW Dark and GCW Fight Forever, so there is around 800 new workers added this month. Add to this I've done some prep work and have got a list to work on this month adding workers for the British Isles, Europe and Japan, so expect some of that next month. If you want to know who was added it's in the editors whiteboard and it does extend beyond what's there, you just need to scroll. Beyond that it's the usual updates/changes of the month, I tend to miss something so post anything that I did.

My suggestions regarding Ivan Markov:

He should have Muscular or Ripped body type.

His hardcore skill should be at least 40 (IWF have a lot of hardcore matches).

A guy like him who is 6,1 and 250 pounds + muscular/ripped (basically, Russian John Cena appearance wise) should have menace higher than 10.

Shouldn't he be fluent in Eastern European, because, I would imagine, by Eastern European language mostly is meant Russian?

It would be beneficial to give him Fitness Fanatic or Bodybuilder attribute, so that he is less likely to loss his Muscular/Ripped body type who he have had for 10+ years.

My suggestions regarding Anton Deryabin:

He should have Flabby body type.

His hardcore skill should be at least 35 (IWF have a lot of hardcore matches).

A guy like him who is 6,3 and 320 pounds (basically, Russian Chris Hero appearance wise) should have menace higher than 15.

Maybe it would make sense to give him Fat Genes attribute too.

I have two missing ages I've found the correction for; Billie Starkz was born October 13, 2004 according to onlineworldofwrestling (I haven't found much else backing this up but it adds up with the timeline of her training at 14), and Rok-C was born November 5, 2001 based on a happy birthday post from New Texas Pro Wrestling mixed with the context of her wrestling a certain someone right after her 18th birthday in 2019.
