They can go on air right off the bat, I got them a weekly TV show which has them on the cusp of growing to Medium just 4 months in. They are making cash easily as well. Here’s my rundown on the promotion.<p> </p><p> Roster. They start off very rudo heavy so you will want to hire/ turn some workers over to tecnicos to even things out. Strongly suggest turning Mr.Lucha III as you need a strong tecnico who can pull good match ratings at the top of the card. Marcos Flores and Nicolas Lopez are on decline I’d use them to get others over. </p><p> Don’t sleep on the Luchadoras, Electric Dreamer and Celeste Moon have been worth their weight in gold. I put them in a feud against each other were they both got over as Major Stars with the feud ending match headlining LuchaSlam XXV.</p><p> The Stables are a great new addition to OLLIE, I currently have Hijo Del Mephisto as my champion running a storyline in which after winning at LuchaSlam he has decided the time is nigh to take down the promotion. I’ve added several members to the council of decay such La hija del Diablo I mean how can the devils daughter not be in a Satanic cult? Hellech and Pierrot as lackeys. Brought in Hysteria from the outside to be the promotions muscle. Current plan is for the recently turned Mr.lucha 3 to head a stable opposing the Council.</p><p> </p><p> As for Galactic Force I have them forming a truce with the Council to also bring down OLLIE. 2 of my tecnicos volunteered to put over Blue Phantom so I’m turning Phantom to get those big wins and having him join as the future of the Stable. Long term storytelling plans right now are for the Council of Decay to grow stronger and reign for a while. Down the line the Galactic force realize the Universal threat of Mephisto and his council, so they turn face joining Mr.Luchas stable and finally turning the tide against the council. I plan on keeping Blue Phantom as a rudo maybe even having him backstab his mentor and leader Extraordinario Jr then joining the council under the moniker Red Phantom.</p><p> </p><p> Overall I highly recommended playing as OLLIE, they have never been funner to play as.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> I agree on everything! I worked a storyline for Mr. Lucha wanting a title shot from Disturbed, but Disturbed essentially putting it off because they are on the same side. This ended with Lucha saving Tricolor Jr from a beatdown from Disturbed after a title match. Lucha just took the belt from Disturbed. Disturbed has kept attacking him. My idea is having Lucha unmask Disturbed and return him to his old Chicken Boy character (since it will fit with my Super Villains stable that Payaso Jr and Bizarro lead in a Joker/Harley Quinn role). Lucha then will go on to beat Mephisto for the main event title. </p><p> </p><p> The luchadoras stuff is super important! I have kept the original storyline going by turning it into a 3-way feud between Dreamer, Moon and Pink. They are constantly clocking 75+ matches and segments and have become my de-facto main event most times. </p><p> </p><p> Also I hired Doctor Tecnico and El Medico to form the Cruz Roja (Red Cross) tag team and I have been grooming them to eventually become the top tecnico team. </p><p> </p><p> My main concern is I just saw EILL poach most of EMLL's top guys (mostly because USPW took some of their top guys) and I am afraid they will come for me next <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Has anyone else updated to the more recent patches? It completely destroyed my profitability with OLLIE as my PPV buys dropped substantially.

I've signed workers to written contracts just as I was going from small to medium and only lost Captain Lucha to EILL, this was with the development deal in place. I don't know if I just got lucky but I signed all my other stars with out issue.

 

About to run my first PPV with them. Super hyped now that I know I've got my major stars on lock and can proceed on my storylines without worry of losing them.

 

Who have you guys built up to challenge Electric Dreamer? Queen Amazon walked out on me a month in so I only have Celeste Moon that can really challenge her.

I've been locking down people to written contracts. So far the stars and major stars, the Hot Prospects and Next Big Things, and the referees (that's always something I'll forget until it's important!).

 

Before I started locking people down, EILL snagged Prieto (huh), and then after the made offers to Nicholas Lopez (since he's on decline, I wasn't in any rush) and El Hijo Espada Rojo (meh, not a huge loss; good, but not great).

 

However, since these weren't exclusive, CILL went and made a ton of offers of handshake deals. Ah, well. As long as no one really important is going to walk until I'm ready.

 

Speaking of, in addition to Blue Phantom, Mystery Pink and Laberinto also pulled that (so much for the "company man" line in the flavor text!).

I love OLLIE. Currently a good few months through my game with them. I've integrated the genders and am building to Electric Dreamer (who is about as hot as she can be booking wise) vs Nicholas Lopez (likely one of his last matches) at my 'season finale'. Lopez is the heel. Lucha got injured and is just back, I see a hot program with Dreamer for the main belt in his future, but I have to do something with Blue Phantom too who the fans are right behind.

I just need to get him through September and lose to Dreamer and I won't care any more. Usually mid-70s which is fine for where we are. I had him working a rudo-turned Tricolor Jr at first (the storyline being Tricolor making a last, desperate grab to fulfill his potential) which had some good matches in it. I don't know what I'll do with Lopez after that, but I kinda wanna do a loser-leaves with him, possibly with Tricolor as he's about to turn back tecnico.</p><p> </p><p> I've got Silver Tiger tagging with Jormungand who I managed to sign, and they're doing well. Not too sure what to do with him long term.</p>

How's everyone's extended game coming along? After almost one year in I sit at 67 pop in centro and mid 50s for the rest of Mexico. Hijo Del Mephisto is my champion with his council of decay (who have added Hysteria and El Demonio as members) reigning at the top of OLLIE.

 

I have ended the developmental deal with EILL they never sent anyone anyway. I've managed to outbid them for Multimillonario and Boom Boom Jamaica and picked up Axxis Jr and El Demonio from them as well when they didn't offer to extend their contracts.

 

Mr.Lucha III and Electric Dreamer are straight money. All of my top 10 matches feature one of them. Mr.Lucha III is the COTT champion and has gotten up to the mid 50s in popularity accross the US as the other companies regularly have him defend on their cards and put on match of the night.

 

Looking at the future the big money feud seems to be Mr. Lucha vs Millonario who I am keeping away from each other until LuchaSlam.

Anybody know if you grow faster with Internet coverage of medium vs Terrestrial coverage of small?

<p>Really enjoying my OLLIE save so far, just finished Dia de la Muertos. I didn't realize it was just 2 days after Revolucion. I guess I have some rescheduling to do. I'm currently at 77 popularity in Centro with my lowest Mexican pop being Sureste and Sur with 59 and 63 respectively. I got to medium just after Lucha Slam.</p><p> </p><p>

One of the first things I did in the save was fire people living outside Mexico. I'm the type person who doesn't like paying $5 delivery charge for $500 worth of items. Won't be $150 for guys worth $20. There are better workers in Mexico. Kamikazee and his partner had to wait till the first PPV without any appearance and then lose their belt on their first show.</p><p> </p><p>

In order to balance the rudo/technico ratio, I signed Chess Maniac and turned El Hijo De Espada Rojo technico. They had a storyline with Silver Tiger and Amo del Gato which admittedly hasn't gone very far and all 4 of them are still just well-known now.</p><p> </p><p>

The starting Galactic Strike story ended with Extraordinario Jr winning the belt at the beginning of the season after losing his shot in the First PPV. Both Nicolaz and his friend Marco tried to win the belt since, but have so far failed.</p><p>

Randy and Zimmy Bumfole joined us in June and July respectively. With Randy already having had a shot at the title. I also managed to poach Jacob Jett off USPW and am planning to make these 3 into a stable. That way Jacob could also have a shot at the title and then Zimmy finally winning it at the season finale. </p><p> </p><p>

I wrapped up the Marco Flores - Hijo del Mephisto storyline, within the first PPV. Hijo del Mephisto won a shot at COTT Heavyweight at Eternal Warriors where Pablo Rodriguez defended his title successfully. The Council of decay also had new members in the form of Coulrophobia, who along with Phobia won the trios belt on the opening PPV. However, the Coulrophobia got kicked out of the stable by Phobia after losing the belt in September. Quickly replaced by the Underworld Lords (Demon ing and Guerro Muerta who have </p><p>

Pablo Rodriguez signed for us permanently after LuchaSlam. We won a bidding war with all the top promotions in America and Mexico to sign him. Totally worth it. After joining us, he started his feud with Hijo del Mephisto which brought a handful of 100 rated angles and propelled Hijo del Mephisto to 70 across Mexico, which might be his cap since he is stuck there for the past 3 PPVs. I finally wrapped up their feud with Pablo Rodriguez and the Eternal Kings defeating The Council of decay (Hijo, Slayer and Hellspawn 666). This happened right after Hijo prevented Pablo Rodriguez from winning the Universal Title at Revolucion. Rocketing Extraordiario Jr as the top heel of the fed.</p><p> </p><p>

The women's scene looked bad at first. I wanted Electric Dreamer and Celeste to headline my second PPV. But found out that they have poor chemistry between them. Electric won the title and defended against Queen Amazon and Purple Viper alternatively. However, I managed to poach Jaime Quinn in September from USPW and Electric dreamer finally had her first Main Event at Revolucion bagging a 86 rated match.</p><p> </p><p>

I created a Battle Royal Title to be won at Lucha Libre Battle. Mr Lucha III won the first edition of the Title and went on to challenge for the COTT Heavyweight in the Main Event of our first Season Finale. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the year for him. I didn't have much to do for him after that. Maybe I'll put him in a </p><p> </p><p>

For me it was Phoenix IV who recieved all the offers to get put over. He had a brief spell as the Mexican Champion before losing that to Amo Del Gato. Since then Phoenix IV has been teaming up with Phoenix II and Blue Phantom as trios. Blue Phantom has better technical and Aerial whereas Phoenix IV has better Flashiness and Phoenix II has great psychology to tach to them. I'm wiating for Blue Phantom and Phoenix IV to learn some Psychology before I push them any further. </p><p> </p><p>

The parejas scene is a bit missing. Hadn't had the title defended for in the last 2 and half months. Tri Color Jr handed me a notice in April that he is going to leave the company. So I put the belt on Slayer and Hellspawn. (The story was that The Council of Decay had their hands on both the trios and parejas and Hijo Del Mephisto was trying to win a shot for the Universal Title and complete the domination of the company). Now I'm considering putting it on Nicolas and Marcos to increase their chance of getting into the hall of immortals and school the lower card at the same time.</p><p> </p><p>

Ursula was the only other worker who left the company.</p><p> </p><p>

In terms of other signings, I picked up, Fuego Fantastic, Sunburst, and Astro at the beginning with Astro joining the Galactic Force as a Lackey. In hindsight, I should have signed more proven talents like serpentino, Payso, etc instead. For the women I picked up Christy Higgins.</p><p>

I picked up Hysteria and paired him with Disturbed once I got to Medium size. From EILL I picked up Capitao Brasil Jr, Dutch Wilkes and Jagged. I also picked Campeon Jr once he was released. Pharoah King is also available to join, but he is working for both EMLL and CILL. I think I'll let Pharoah King boost their pops before I poach them up. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I also grabbed Moriaty Schnell from SWF but missed out on Remo as we were too small for him.</p><p>

From CILL I took Amazing Firefly and Pinky Perez once we hit medium and ended the no stealing agreement. I might grab a couple more from them soon. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm also thinking of signing Payaso now and put him with a stable with Clourophobia as 'House of Clowns'. Maybe have Bizzaro manage him or the Tag Team.</p><p> </p><p>

Lastly, I just signed up Gino Montero from EILL. Not sure whether I want him to be a rudo or technico. I definitely want him to headline our season finale. It makes more gameplay sense to have him as a Rudo, since we are a bit heavy with technico at the top. We will have to get the title at Zimmy's hand who at 37, might not have much chance later. The title can change hands a couple of times over the next year cementing him as an OLLIE HOF.</p><p> </p><p>

On the other hand, I want to create a stable with Gino, his brother, and Espada Roja as 'Los Hijos de Lucha'. Using him to propel those two and maybe even a certain Mr. Lucha III.</p>

How much of a difference did you notice?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I had a similar viewership on Canal Dos Late Night, compared to La Red de la Lucha's Late Evening. (around 0.55). Once I got big enough to switch to Late Evening on Canal Dos I averaged around 0.7, and the Late Evening switch got me to around 0.8.</p><p> </p><p> Keeping in mind that La Red de la Lucha has 3 zones outside of Mexico, I think I had better viewership in Mexico even when I initially switched.</p>

I've been getting back into OLLIE, and I just noticed that the tag, trios, and Mexico titles are now exclusive to men. I'm a little disappointed by that. I mean, I know I can just set them back, but in terms of narrative, it feels like a step back.

So I'm wondering is it worth it to bring Atlantis Jr and Cique Jr into OLLIE in order to put folks over? They're still talented despite their age after all, though I'm not sure if their asking prices ($700 and $600 respectively) are to steep for OLLIE. What does everybody think?
