Hello everybody and welcome to this month’s edition of The Supreme PPV Coverage with yours truly. I was actually surprised by When Hell Freezes Over, it was a good show which is surprising because it followed a good Supreme TV and that is not like the SWF we have grown used to. Usually they struggle to put on a decent show, let alone two good shows in a row. Now let’s get to the recap.

T4kGSlX.jpg

SWF When Hell Freezes Over

Live from Rochester, NY

Attendance: 21,251

Rating: 82

PPV Buyrate: 7.48

N8w4YYW.jpg

*Nothing to fancy here, just Rocky hyping his Championship Match up against the deadly Scythe. While Scythe continues to rarely appear on TV (let a long fight on TV) he makes his presence felt still.

*The fan’s really got behind Rocky, and he had them super riled up for the 1st match.

Rating: 100

Ik54olt.jpg vs wdZ6TOB.jpg

Match 1: NA Title Match Lenny Brown vs Des Davids

*This was a pretty decent match overall that didn’t stay it’s welcome.

*Lenny looked really good, getting in some solid offense against the dominating Des.

*Des was a beast throughout, and everytime Lenny got some momentum going, he was quick to take back over with his explosive, and powerful offense.

*Des Davids defeated Lenny Brown in 13:08 by pinfall with a Quarterback Sack. Des Davids makes defence number four of the SWF North American title.

Rating: 72

SSHq3Rs.jpg vs 8qOFUrO.jpg

Match 2: The Crippler vs Steven Parker

*Another pretty decent match that saw the Veteran take it to Steven. Crips looked like a man on a mission, and that mission was to destroy Steven.

*Steven did a good job of holding his own against the aggressive Crips, and never stopped fighting back.

*The ending was a little disappointing, but again SWF didn’t want to end this feud too quickly with a decisive win. Steven Parker defeated The Crippler in 11:32 when The Crippler got disqualified after going into an attacking rage.

Rating: 76

UH9lCnd.jpgpREJQb3.jpg

*Nothing special here, just Haley (who I am shocked that SWF remembered about) interviewing Hollywood about his lack of having a match on the PPV.

*Hollywood did a phenomenal job showcasing his charisma and mic abilities, he was passionate and angry as he ranted and raved about not having a match, and that everybody should be talking about him main eventing PPVs. He promised it will change soon.

Rating: 80

9PREQDs.jpg vs 18AFFD8.jpg

Match 3: Angry Gilmore vs Atom Smasher

*This was another solid match that really had the crowd invested in it.

*Now I wouldn’t say this had the most technical wrestling (despite Gilmore still being one of the best ), this was more of a brawl. With both men going to town on each other and beating the ever lovin’ crap out of each other. *These two seem to really have great chemistry fighting each other, and it showed by their ability to play so well off each other.

*Another slightly lackluster finish, but again it makes sense since this feud just started. I really hope these two can continue to produce great matches like this one!

*Angry Gilmore drew with Atom Smasher in 15:59 following a double count out.

Rating: 78

2gJjFSq.jpg vs 6C2C0TL.jpg

Match 4: Primus Allen vs American Machine

*This match was just blah. American Machine is directionless and posed no real threat to the wasted talent in Primus

*Primus is so much better than fighting random guys week in and week out. SWF is really dropping the ball with him right now.

*Primus Allen defeated American Machine in 9:59 by pinfall with a Running Powerslam.

Rating: 66

TLGPDtl.jpgi8CVDND.jpgKpF1XI6.jpg vs mcKbb0N.jpgQjIPm7c.jpgdZONLMm.jpgw/UnST4OH.jpg

Match 5: Joey Morgan and Dallas Cowboys vs Unleashed Awesome

*For all the star power in this matchup, it was kind of lackluster. It could have been the addition of The Dallas Cowboys with no real buildup that confused the fans, but again SWF loves to just throw random people in matches.

*Unleashed Awesome looked the more dominate of the bunch, as their team work really excelled and the tag experience of The Awesomeness really shone.

*The Dallas Cowboys stepped up their game, and both of those guys looked dominate.

*Joey Morgan came across as the best performer with his superior skills and was able to dismantle the offense of Randy Unleashed (did I say that this is a pretty stupid name? I guess it’s better than the “name” they gave his brother).

*The ending was really shocking as it was a rather clean win.

*Joey Morgan and The Dallas Cowboys defeated Unleashed Awesomeness (Randy Unleashed, Jefferson Stardust and Huey Cannonball) in 16:17 when Joey Morgan pinned Randy Unleashed with an Empire Spiral.

Rating: 65 (Randy and Huey were off their game)

xK25zwJ.jpgrnJf7KQ.jpg vs 8T0Yaln.jpgPWd3bi9.jpg

Match 6: Tag Team Titles - Hawaiian Crush vs Fame & Money

*The crowd was kind of into this match, but the wrestling was sub-par to say the least.

*Both teams got in some solid offense, and there were several near pinfalls from both teams.

*Despite the finish, I really think that Hawaiian Crush have more of a future, even more so as single stars, but the biggest problem (I think SWF is even aware of this) is that Ekuma might have some of the worst stamina I have ever seen.

*Fame & Money defeated Hawaiian Crush in 11:55 when Paul Huntingdon pinned Ekuma with a High Society. Fame & Money make defence number nine of the SWF World Tag Team titles.

Rating: 72

wuEAXgY.jpgA53irZY.jpg9LZa2iD.jpg

Angle: Remo v Rogue v Valiant

*A basic hype angle showcasing the various match-ups and build-ups to their match later tonight.

Solid hype package by SWF.

Rating: 84

0LojNUr.jpg vs bkOknPt.jpg

Match 7: Spencer Spade vs Jungle Lord

*Eh nothing really special here, just SWF wasting one of their most promising stars in a matchup against an aging veteran who hasn’t been relevant in years.

*This match really dragged on, and probably could have gone maybe 10 minutes and it wouldn’t have changed much.

*Spencer stood out as the real star, and Dulce made her presence known anytime Spencer got in a little danger.

*Spencer Spade defeated Jungle Lord in 13:35 by pinfall with a Supreme Stunner.

Rating: 64

2RwMBcV.jpg vs cXaFo1B.jpg w/yeacnzI.jpg

Match 8: Mikey Lau vs “Big Money” Brandon James w/ Krissy

*A good match that the crowd really got into, as I don’t think anybody in attendance was 100% convinced who was going to win.

*Mikey continues to look like one of the fastest rising stars with his stoic attitude and amazing martial art moves (his kicks can be heard in the nosebleed sections!).

*Despite his advancing age Brandon looked really good, and I think it really helped that he had such great chemistry with Mikey. Those two really clicked and it showed!

*While I think SWF could have gotten some more mileage out of this feud, the ending was probably the right thing, as they have been feuding for some time now.

*Mikey Lau defeated Brandon James in 15:23 by pinfall with a Scything Side Kick.

*It was interesting, and SWF didn’t focus on it for long, but Krissy was clearly very angry that Brandon lost, and we even caught a glimpse of her yelling at him. We will see if SWF does anything about this, or if they just move on like it never happened.

Rating: 81

A53irZY.jpg vs wuEAXgY.jpg vs 9LZa2iD.jpg w/tDWcUJN.jpg

Match 9: Rogue vs Remo vs Valiant

*This was a really good match, that featured some good wrestling, and the crowd was on their feet and really into this match.

*All three guys showed while they have been staples in the main event scene for years!

*Rogue’s opportunistic nature got him several extremely close pinfall victories over both Valiant and Remo. Each one of the close calls had the fans gasping, as I don’t think anybody pegged Rogue to look so good in the matchup.

*You know, at times I struggle to see why Hannah is paired with Valiant, as she does so little, but Rogue took advantage of Valiant’s good-boy, protective nature, and several times throughout the match was seen flirting or bothering Hannah, which helped him take advantage of Valiant getting distracted. Or we would let Remo do the heavy lifting and take Valiant down.

*Remo looked dominate throughout the match, but surprisingly took a fair amount of beatings from both Rogue and Valiant.

*Despite the ending clearly marking an end to this feud, all three competitors leave looking better.

*The ending came when Rogue, again, used Hannah to distract Valiant. Remo hit Valiant with The Destroyed and went for the pinfall. Rogue broke it up and tried to hit a Crashing On, on Remo, but Remo reversed it in The Destroyer for a pin and win in 18:01.

Main Event: World Heavyweight Champion: Scythe vs Rocky

*This was a superb match that had the crowd eating up everything these two did. The crowd was really behind Rocky, in the hopes that their hero would finally put an end to the terror that is Scythe.

*Both wrestlers got in solid offense and Scythe looked like a beast as his slow, prodding offense wore down Rocky.

*Rocky hit his 6 moves of doom and everybody thought the match was over, but a last-second kick out had the crowd shocked. I mean rarely do people kick out of Rocky’s 6 moves of doom, I think this was the first time in SWF that it happened!

*Rocky got Scythe up into the Rack (an impressive feat of strength), but a "wayward" kick from Scythe sent the ref crashing down. Which meant that the golden boy had to check on the ref. This was all Scythe needed to take full control.

*Scythe brought Rocky outside of the ring and hit a brutal Choke Slam through the announcers' table.

*The match ended when Scythe brought Rocky back into the ring for an Underworld Spike just as the ref was coming to, and the ref counted the 3 count for a HUGE victory for Scythe!

Rating: 77

SXQunOd.jpgN8w4YYW.jpg

*A shocked crowd watched silently as Scythe stood over Rocky as the show closed!

RIPW Presents Championship Battle

Live from Boston, MA

Attendance: 132

Rating: 32

MKTvQmc.jpg

sjwXSCF.jpg w/jmL9M40.jpg vs TSZiJ18.jpg

Match: USA Championship Willy LaRoux vs Bryan Jewett ©

*Not a bad match as the crowd seemed to be really invested in it, but since this is RIPW most of these guys aren’t the best wrestlers yet. These two had good chemistry fighting each other and that helped the match out a lot.

*Bryan looked like the real star here, but SoVen made his presence felt multiple times distracting the ref, or outright attacking Bryan while Willy distracted the ref.

*Willy LaRoux defeated Bryan Jewett in 13:43 by pinfall with a Reverse DDT following interference from Son of Vengeance. Willy LaRoux wins the RIPW USA title.

Rating: 24 (Bryan and Willy have good chemistry)

sjwXSCF.jpgjmL9M40.jpgTSZiJ18.jpg

*Just a basic beat down angle with Willy holding the title up while SoVen hit Bryan with a Skull Crusher.

Rating: 32

DnVPTwq.jpg vs ZylJ3ez.jpg

Match 2: Hoss Hadley vs Whole Lotta Marvin

*Another match that featured terrible wrestling (you know for now on unless they actually have decent wrestling I am just going to assume everybody knows the wrestling portion probably sucked to some extent), but the crowd was into the match at least.

*RIPW has done a good job with this feud, and surprisingly none of the other members of Southern Comfort were present or got involved.

Whole Lotta Marvin defeated Hoss Hadley in 12:07 by pinfall with a Running Powerslam.

Rating: 20

bAr0GIm.jpgDnVPTwq.jpgVF1yPiz.jpgZylJ3ez.jpgSTELkFC.jpgF3KhBFO.jpg

*Shocking absolutely nobody, Southern Comfort made their presence felt when the remaining two members (Hank Whitman and Sampson Sharpe) attacked Whole Lotta Marvin.

*What did shock me and probably everybody else was when the rarely used, but very impressive looking (physically they both suck in the ring) Zap Powerson and Zeke Cromstock came down and saved Marvin from another beating!

*This should be interesting, while nobody is going to be putting on 5 star matches it is nice to see RIPW trying to include more guys in their feuds. This is a good sign that they won’t be forgotten come February when their TV show Showcase (stupid name) debuts.

Rating: 30

QCOH0U7.jpgvg4msuk.jpg vs ALey2sn.jpgEyT7RPw.jpg w/V1TiEuh.jpg

Match 3: The Wrecking Balls vs The Sunshine Connection

*This match just sucked all around, and the crowd really wasn’t into it either.

I do think the crowd at least enjoyed seeing Lucinda, who is being terribly wasted with Danson, who really sucks.

*Nothing special here, just an average match to, hopefully, end the horrible feud between these two teams.

*Crusher seemed off his game tonight, which I don’t know how that is possible when you suck as bad as he doesn, but whatever.

*The Wrecking Balls defeated The Sunshine Connection in 12:19 when Crusher Ball pinned Rocky Weatherfield with a Demolisher.

Rating: 15

7l5GbTM.jpg vs PjwhoOd.jpg

Match 4: Hellion vs Deever Arnold

*One of the matches that I was really looking forward to as RIPW has presented both Hellion and Deever as tough as nails competitors.

*Despite the size difference Deever has continued to show that he never gives up or stays down for too long.

*And despite all that build-up, RIPW showed the fans that Hellion is a beast, and for reasons unknown to me, even though I agree with them, that Deever is not anywhere close to the same league as Hellion.

*Deever got in minimal offense and his saving grace was that he kept getting up.

*Hellion ended the match in 10:14 with a brutal looking Devolution Bomb for the pinfall victory.

Rating: 36

7l5GbTM.jpgPjwhoOd.jpg4Jdyu7l.jpg

*Just incase the fans weren’t sure how much RIPW is high on Hellion and not on Deever, Hellion continued to beat Deever down, even throwing the ref out of the ring.

*An unfamiliar theme song hit and the debuting Papa Swoll (the dude is jacked) game spriting down and started brawling with Hellion.

Staff and even most of the locker room cleared out to help breka up the fight.

*Everybody was finally able to separate the two and get them to the back.

*Both Hellion and Papa looked like stars here! I am very impressive with Papa’s debut (he just needs a new name, I mean Papa Swoll really guys)

Rating: 42

CCcZu4W.jpg

DXzAuER.jpgcDglBjA.jpg vs Al4E2ny.jpgzA9EI0j.jpg

Match 5: Tag Team Titles All Night Party vs The Magic Boys ©

*Eh, another match that really didn’t do much for me, but the crowd was kind of into it I guess.

*For some reason RIPW always seems to forget that the Magic Boys are also a part of Infamous, because Willy and SoVen rarely get involved in their matches.

*Some decent back and forth between the teams, and both teams did show impressive chemistry with their partners, which is good because I don’t see any of these four as break-out single stars.

*The Magic Boys defeated All Night Party in 11:55 when Kingsley Christopher pinned Marty Simmons with a Magic Marker. The Magic Boys make defence number five of the RIPW Tag Team Championship titles.

Rating: 22

o1AmmhL.jpgqeA3Pj4.jpg

*Now this was not only exciting but extremely suprising. I mean we knew that SWF signed the Diaz Boys (they aren’t really brothers but RIPW wants it to seem that way) but I really wasn’t expecitng RIPW to feature these guys with the tag champs on their first night!

*The Diaz Boys made their presence known and left the Magic Boys both lying on the mat. And again shockingly Willy and SoVen never came to their rescue.

Rating: 24

BysFoqI.jpgqHjyWOY.jpg

*A basic hype angle showing the feud between Forrest and Warwick.

*Not bad, but not great either, just something to keep the fans occupied as they cleared the ring from the previous segment I guess.

Rating: 38

qHjyWOY.jpg vs BysFoqI.jpg

Main Event: RIPW Championship - Warwick Good vs Forrest Ratzloff ©

*This was probably the best wrestling we have seen all night, and it was sub-par. But the crowd was into this match, as Forrest has been the golden boy in RIPW. The announcers continued to hype up the rumors that Forrest was rumored to be getting called up soon to the main roster.

*The two were pretty evenly matched, and both played to their “strengths” of brawling and power moves, with Warwick sprinkling in some of his decent technical work.

*Warwick looked like more of a star as he really does a great job with his badass lifestyle gimmick. It’s not that Forrest looked bad, but his poor man's version of Valiant and Rocky Golden mixed is just boring for me.

*The ending was kind of a shock as Warwick Good defeated Forrest Ratzloff in 15:24 by pinfall with a Face First Suplex. Warwick Good wins the RIPW Championship title.

Rating: 31

2. Nicky Champion and Casey Valentine defeated the Cold Warriors - 85</p><p> </p><p>

As you can see SWF barely squeaked by having an overall better show than USPW, but USPW really put on some great matches, and the matches of the week to boot! TCW is struggled a bit, they aren’t too far behind SWF or USPW. </p><p> </p><p>

It was a relatively quiet week this week, but there were a few signings. RIPW signed Craig Prince (road agent) and Ref Jez McArthuer. It was said these signings were handshake deals and they were to help reduce the workload of Mean Jean and Wilson Carlisle. The biggest news was that TCW came to agreement with Pablo Rodriquez for an exclusive contract. This is a huge blow to CZCW and the COTT as he was their main alliance champ! One can only wonder how COTT and CZCW will respond. And that’s it, it has been an otherwise quiet week in wrestling. Don’t forget to stay tuned for next weeks coverage of the Big 3 (<span style="color:#0000FF;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SWF</span></span>, <span style="color:#0000FF;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW</span></span>, <span style="color:#0000FF;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">USPW</span></span>) and next week’s Ultimate Recap. SWF Supreme TV Jan. wk 4

Live from Sioux Falls, SD

Attendance: 5,636

Show Rating: 81

TV Rating: 3.23

18AFFD8.jpg9PREQDs.jpgGkJuEt5.jpg

*A nice change of pace from the usual Rocky opening up the show. This was kind of shocking that he didn’t open the show with what happened at the end of last week's episode

*Atom challenged Gilmore to a tag team match later tonight.

Gilmore came out and accepted his challenge, Bear Bekowski (who we haven't seen in awhile) blind sided Gilmore and beat him down.

Rating: 77

Match 1: Mikey Lau vs Mainstream Hernandez

*While at first this seemed like a rather pointless pairing, it because obvious that the story was more about Hernandez’s losing streak then the actual match.

*It was a solid match with some good back and forth, but it was Mikey who really stood out, showing why he is continually tipped as the next big thing.

*Mainstream started to show some cracking, and his usual cool, calm, collected self morphed into a more angry version of himself.

*The match ended when Mikey Lau defeated Mainstream Hernandez in 14:41 by pinfall with a Scything Side Kick.

Rating: 64

WUKEps1.jpg

*Mainstream grabs a mic and says he is going away for a while to find himself.

*A short and to the point promo by Mainstream who did a great job on the mic.

*I am hopeful, with the success that SWF has been having, that they will actually do something with this storyline!

Rating: 73

Match 2: John Greed vs ZWB

*It wouldn’t be Supreme TV without a random match or two through on the show, and this was that random matchup.

*Despite there being no build up or reason for these two to fight, they put on a decent match.

*Both these guys are being criminally underused, and neither have been in a decent program for quite some time, more so Greed who is one of the better talkers on the roster.

*The match ended when ZWB defeated John Greed in 14:40 by pinfall with a 450 Degree Splash.

Rating: 65

9LZa2iD.jpgw/tDWcUJN.jpg vs 3pL3vaH.jpg

Match 3: Valiant vs Justin Sensitive

*This was another decent match and the crowd was more into this than I expected, because Justin Sensitive is a waste of space on the roster. The kid could do great things in somewhere like CZCW or something.

*The Rat Pack hung around the ring, but never got involved during the match. A few times Hollywood would flirt with Hannah, but she finally did something and slapped him which got the crowd really cheering.

*The match ended rather quickly when Valiant defeated Justin Sensitive in 10:01 by pinfall with a Patriot Missile.

Rating: 73

pREJQb3.jpg8T0Yaln.jpgPWd3bi9.jpg3pL3vaH.jpg9LZa2iD.jpgtDWcUJN.jpgi8CVDND.jpgKpF1XI6.jpg

*The expected post match attack happened without fail, I mean the angle served its purpose but I wish SWF would mix up their storyline advancements.

*Just when we thought it was going to be the same as last week, The Dallas Cowboys rushed the ring and made the save. And before anybody asks, yes Hannah stood around doing nothing but screaming and crying.

*While I like seeing the Dallas Cowboys making the save, it’s like SWF completely forgot that the Dallas Cowboys were just helping Joey Morgan at When Hell Freezes Over (less than 2 weeks ago), but whatever I guess it worked.

*The heels retreated and The Dallas Cowboys stood tall, in the ring, while Hannah checked on Valiant.

Rating: 82

9PREQDs.jpg

* Angry is shown backstage talking to another worker about being his tag team partner, but we are not shown who he is talking to.

* A very short, simple angle that served it’s purpose of hyping the main event. It will be interesting to see who Angry is talking to.

Rating: 73

SSHq3Rs.jpgwdZ6TOB.jpg vs Ik54olt.jpg8qOFUrO.jpg

Match 4: The Crippler and Des Davids vs Steven Parker and Lenny Brown

* A pretty good tag match that advanced two separate storylines.

*All four men looked good out there and really put in a great effort. Steven and Lenny showed their superior speed and athleticism, while Des showed everybody his explosive power, and finally The Crippler reminded everybody of his technical ability and smarts as he continually worked on Steven and Lenny’s legs to slow them down.

*The match ended when Lenny hit The Crippler with The Star Treatment for the pinfall victory in 14:32.

Rating: 75

UH9lCnd.jpgN8w4YYW.jpg

*Finally Rocky makes his appearance on Supreme TV being interviewed by Haley.

*Rocky talked about his disappointment in Scythe, but says he is not suprised that Scythe is a coward and won’t return his title or face Rocky man-to-man. Rocky promises to get his title back.

*Haley asks about Remo’s challenge, and Rocky says once he is done with the demon, Remo can have his match, anywhere, anytime.

Rating: 97

rSAEdKs.jpg vs 2gJjFSq.jpg

Match 5: Local Jobber vs Primus Allen

*Another basic squash match that the crowd was actually into, I think it was because everybody was waiting to see what Emma would do.

*Primus looked like his usual dominante self, and Emma’s fury at the desk was really highlighted.

*The match ended when Primus Allen defeated Mercutio Sleep in 6:04 by pinfall with a Running Powerslam.

Rating: 52 (They don’t click)

vnV9bsR.jpg2gJjFSq.jpg

*Emma stormed the ring with a mic in her hand and promised to help Primus obtain his rightful place atop SWF.

*Emma then dropped a bombshell and told Jerry that if she did not get her manager license back, he wouldn’t need to suspend her, she was going to quit!

Rating: 78

18AFFD8.jpgGkJuEt5.jpg vs 9PREQDs.jpg

Main Event: Atom Smasher and Bear Bekowski vs Angry Gilmore and Joey Morgan

*This was not only a great match with a very invested crown, it was a great showcase of other SWF talent besides the usual that main event.

*While Atom, Gilmore, and Joey looked great, Bear really struggled to keep up with their performance. I don’t really fault Bear that much as this was his first time in such a high profile match.

*SWF continually teased Gilmore and Atom going toe-to-toe, but everytime Gilmore tagged in Atom was quick to tag in Bear, all the while he smirked while going it.

*The match came to an end when Randy Unleashed juped the barricade and distracted Joey Morgan.

*This distraction was all Atom Smasher needed as he hit Joey Morgan with a Mushroom Cloud for the pinfall victory in 16:07.

Rating 78

TLGPDtl.jpgmcKbb0N.jpgQjIPm7c.jpgdZONLMm.jpgxK25zwJ.jpgrnJf7KQ.jpg

*SWF really stretched the booking creativity here by having Unleashed Awesomeness attack Joey after the match. We had about two seconds of Bear and Atom Smasher beating up Gilmore before they walked away.

*Since The Dallas Cowboys saved Valiant, it wasn’t them this time (even though they helped Joey at WHen Hell Freezes Over) but instead it was Hawaiian Crush that made the save.

*The faces stood tall to end the show. Still not sure why Atom Smasher, Bear, and Gilmore never really got involved, but whatever.

Nice few shows man! Good to see Scythe go over, ballsy move!

Really looking forward to see where you take Starr from here on. A win against Valiant in this feud should skyrocket him!

Thank you for the compliment! I have some big plans coming up, so I am excited. I have a lot of different options for Scythe moving forward. I have already booked up till April, so I can't wait for everybody to see what happens with everybody going forward!

Hello everybody and welcome to the first edition of RIPW Recap! I won’t lie this wasn’t the greatest and it has a lot of repeats from their January Event, but figuring that this is the first time many viewers are seeing these guys, it does make sense to feature their “biggest stars.” Now let’s get to the action.

vvV0BFl.jpg

RIPW Showcase

Live From Boston, MA and only on The Supreme Network!

Attendance: 66

Show Rating: 24

BysFoqI.jpg

*A nice segment from Forrest who showed some, usually unseen passion and fire. He really put Warwick over as a hard-nosed, badass.

*He finished the segment promising that tonight he was going to get his title back.

Angle: 36

bAr0GIm.jpgDnVPTwq.jpgVF1yPiz.jpg vs ZylJ3ez.jpgSTELkFC.jpgF3KhBFO.jpg

Match 1: Southern Comfort vs Whole Lotta Marvin, Zap Powerson, and Zeke Cromstock

*A great way to continue the feud (for those of us who saw the even) and to introduce the new audience to all these guys.

*Everybody looked really good, and the crowd seemed to be into it. Marvin, Zap,and Zeke looked pretty good in their first time as a unit, they really displayed their strength throughout.

*Southern Comfort looked like a well oiled machine, and their chemistry really shone.

*Southern Comfort (Hank Whitman, Samson Sharpe and Hoss Hadley) defeated Whole Lotta Marvin, Zap Powerson and Zeke Cromstock in 15:05 when Hank Whitman pinned Zeke Cromstock by using the ropes for leverage.

Rating: 22

sjwXSCF.jpgjmL9M40.jpgzA9EI0j.jpgAl4E2ny.jpg

*Infamous (Willy, SoVen, and the Magic Boys) came to the ring and talked about how they are the most dominant group in RIPW history. Willy promises that they will all be champions very soon.

Rating: 35

Match 2: USA Title - Bryan Jewett vs WIlly LaRoux © w/SoVen

*While this was a rematch from the event, again it was a great way to show both these guys to the audience.

*Willy and Bryan showed that they have some good chemistry together and put on a good match.

*Bryan continually had to check on SoVen as the menacing man always looked like he was ready to pounce.

*Willy LaRoux defeated Bryan Jewett in 12:44 by pinfall with a Reverse DDT following interference from Son of Vengeance. Willy LaRoux makes defence number one of the RIPW USA title.

Match 3: Tag Team Titles - The Diaz Boys vs All Night Party vs The Wrecking Balls vs The Magic Boys©

*This was a solid match that showcased some solid, but slightly underwhelming tag team action.

*Logan and James really shone and reminded the fans that they probably won’t be in RIPW to long as they are a well oiled machine. Logan in particular really stood out as the best in-ring worker.

*All the teams got some solid action, and All Night Party and the Magic Boys’ continued their feud.

*The Diaz Boys defeated All Night Party, The Magic Boys and The Wrecking Balls in 15:05; the order of elimination was The Magic Boys first, then The Wrecking Balls, and finally All Night Party. The Diaz Boys win the RIPW Tag Team Championship titles.

Rating: 27 (In terms of in-ring work, Logan Diaz was head and shoulders above everyone else.)

4Jdyu7l.jpg7l5GbTM.jpg

*Papa Swoll was in the ring and did a good job of introducing himself to the crowd and talking about how he hates bullies, and isn’t afraid of the American Hellspawn at all.

*This brought out Hellion and they brawled. The brawl emptied the locker room to finally separate the two workers.

Rating: 30

Main Event: RIPW Championship Forrest Ratzloff vs Warwick Good ©

*A solid match between two of the more over and polished workers on the roster.

*The crowd was fully behind Forrest throughout the match.

*Warwick came out looking like a badass

*Warwick Good defeated Forrest Ratzloff in 14:32 by pinfall with a Face First Suplex. Warwick Good makes defence number one of the RIPW Championship title.

*A very big surprise to open up Supreme TV with Jerry announcing the first ever Supreme Guarantee Ladder Match at Nothing to lose!

*A little disappointing that most of the contenders were announced - Mikey Lau, Valiant, Steven Parker, Hollywood Bret Starr, Rogue, and The Crippler

*A nice addition was that a 7th man will be added by a 10 man battle royal later tonight!

Rating: 85

Match 1: Joey Morgan vs Makutsi

*Another throw away match that we all knew how it would end, but also we all knew what would come after this match.

*Joey looked awesome out there and reminded the fans that he is criminally underused by SWF.

*Joey Morgan defeated Makutsi in 12:49 by pinfall with an Empire Spiral.

Rating: 67

*Super surprise here for everybody watching, Unleashed Awesomeness attacked Joey after the match.

*Hawaiian Crush made the save, but Unleashed Awesomeness bailed before they brawled with Hawaiian Crush again.

Rating: 68

0LojNUr.jpggIDNSod.jpg

*A Fun segment “A Moment of Supreme Greatness” hosted by Spencer Spade and Dulce. This segment featured Spencer interviewing Valiant and Hollywood

*This was all-around good, with all three guys and Dulce (Hannah continues to be useless) hyping up the Supreme Guarantee Contract match and how they would win. Spencer played devil’s advocate continually trying to get Valiant and Hollywood to fight. But Valiant’s “goody-two-shoes” attitude prevented this from happening.

Rating: 79

7NQHe0p.jpgGkJuEt5.jpg

*Another surprise by SWF and it was met with a muh from the crowd.

*Two rarely used superstars, Robbie Wright and Bear Bekowski announce that they are forming a tag team. Ruggedly Handsome...I kid you not. I will give Robbie some credit as he looked and sounded good on the mic, he just doesn’t get enough exposure for the fans to really care. Bear did look pretty menacing.

*I give this tag team a few months and they will disappear. They have their first tag team match next.

Rating: 62

Match 2: Ruggedly Handsome vs the All Americans (American Machine and Oliver Kobb)

*So to hype the new tag team, SWF throws out another new tag team in the All Americans (SWF is really killing it with these tag team names) which features American Machine and Oliver Kobb, two more rarely used jobbers, I mean talent.

*This match really wasn’t that good, but I will give the teams credit that they both had really good chemistry, despite this being their first official tag match together.

*Robbie and Bear controlled the match, and Robbie did a good job of showing the crowd that he is a coward and anytime he got into a little trouble he quickly tagged Bear. Bear looked a force *The Ruggedly Handsome defeated The All Americans in 12:29 when Robbie Wright pinned Oliver Kobb with a Wright Move.

Rating: 64

UH9lCnd.jpg18AFFD8.jpg

*A short to the point interview by Haley with Atom Smasher.

*The cocky Atom Smasher accepted Angry’s challenge for Nothing to Lose.

Rating: 83

rSAEdKs.jpg vs 2gJjFSq.jpg

Match 3: Local Talent vs Primus Allen

*Another terrible squash match, but again the purpose of Primus being out here wasn’t his match, it was what would happen with Emma next.

*The Local talent did not stand a chance, as Primus merely played around with him, like a tiger plays with his prey.

*Primus hit a Running Powerslam to finish off the jobber in 5:36 for the pinfall victory.

Rating: 55

*Primus walked over to Emma and said something you couldn’t hear and she smiled before Primus walked away.

Rating: 71

UH9lCnd.jpgN8w4YYW.jpg

*Haley interviewed Rocky about going to Hell to get his belt back and Rocky said he is ready and he isn’t scared of Scythe.

*Remo came into the interview and told Rocky, title or not, Remo wants Rocky next!

*A great segment that set up the potential mega-match that so many fans have been waiting for!

Match 4: 10-Man Battle Royal For Entry into the Supreme Guarantee Match - Avalanche, Brandon James, Ekuma, High Flying Hawaiian, Huey Cannonball, Jefferson Stardust, Masked Patriot, Matty Faith, Randy Unleashed, and ZWB

*This was a pretty good battle royal, that had the fans really into it as there were several superstars that could have won it.

*Most of the superstars quickly teamed up on Avalanche to eliminate him first as he was the biggest threat and proved to be very difficult to eliminate.

*From there the usual alliance took form (tag teams and stables), but Brandon James was having none of the alliance crap and eliminated both Masked Patriot and Matty Faith.

*Surprisingly it was Jefferson Stardust that got the most eliminations!

*The final four came down to ZWB, Brandon James, Jefferson Stardust, and Randy Unleashed.

*Jefferson and Randy dumped Brandon, surrounded ZWB.

*A miscommunication between Jefferson and Randy was all ZWB needed to eliminate both of the workers at once! The match ended in 15:25.

Rating: 74

*A short segment with ZWB celebrating his victory.

*While I really expected somebody to interfere, nobody did.

Main Event: Valiant, Steven Parker, and Mikey Lau vs Rogue, The Crippler, and Hollywood Bret Starr

*Again SWF played it safe with their booking, but the crowd was into this match and the guys really did a good job out there.

*Everybody got some good offense in, and it was nice to see some new guys in the main event again.

*SWF tried to keep the main rivals away from each other as much as possible, continually teasing their match-ups (Valiant v. Hollywood and Steven v. Crips).

*The match ended when Hollywood and Steven were in the ring together, and Justin Sensitive grabbed both Valiant and Mikey by the legs. They both got down and beat down Justin, but this distracted ther ref, and Hollywood hit Steven with a low blow which set up the Hollywood Hammer.

*Rogue, The Crippler and Hollywood Bret Starr were the victors when Hollywood pinned Steven Parker in 17:34.

Rating: 82

*SWF’s standard post-match brawl before their PPV, while I am tired of seeing lazy booking like this, the crowd ate it up.

*The heels ended the show standing tall.

Some quick updates about SWF, it seems that after Supreme TV Matuksi was sent to rehab for testing positive for something. It was probably soft drugs as we all know his past usage derailed his debut push. I will give you guys any updates as them come out, but SWF is pretty hush on these subjects as their testing is done in-house. Melvin Otto was signed by SWF, nobody has any clue why or what their plans are with him, as they have never shown interest in him before. Rumors suggest somebody on the roster advocated for him to be hired. Hello everybody and welcome to this week’s edition of RIPW Recap! A decent showcase from the guys in RIPW. The March to Victory Tournament is officially underway.

RIPW Showcase Feb. wk2

Live from Boston, MA

Attendance: 68

Rating: 29

f8O3jt5.jpg

ZylJ3ez.jpgSTELkFC.jpgF3KhBFO.jpg

*Whole Lotta Marvin, Zap Powerson, and Zeke Cromstock come out to a more upbeat muscle and jump and “dance” their way to the ring.

*Marvin introduces themselves as the Muscle Outlawz helping the RIPW nation get jacked and have fun!

*This was a fun segment that served to introduce these guys as a new stable, the crowd seemed to love it, and to remind everybody about their feud with Southern Comfort

Rating: 31

ZylJ3ez.jpg vs 4qGoH1T.jpg

Match 1 - Tournament Match - Whole Lotta Marvin vs Roderick Flack

*The crowd really got into this match, and Marvin’s new, high energy fun style seemed to make the crowd pop more.

*Marvin continued to show his impressive strength and explosive energy against Roderick.

*Roderick got in some offense, but it did little to slow down the momentum of Marvin.

*Whole Lotta Marvin defeated Roderick Flack in 14:38 by pinfall with a Running Powerslam. Marvin advances to the next round of the tournament.

Rating: 15

qHjyWOY.jpg

*This was a nice segment that gave Warwick the chance to showcase his promo skills, and he did pretty good.

*He talked up how tough Forrest is, and since Warwick is a fighting champ and isn’t scared to fight, he accepted Forrest challenge for one more match at RIPW Rivalry

Rating: 38

JYpl5GT.jpg vs 7l5GbTM.jpg

Match 2: Tournament Match - Pepper Pelton vs Hellion

*Another decent match that had the crowd going.

*Hellion was the real star of this match, while Pepper showcased his ability to sell, as he got in minimal to no offense against the American Hellspawn.

*What little damage Hellion took, he no sold and simply never lost momentum.

*Hellion defeated Pepper Pelton in 10:30 by pinfall with a Devolution Bomb. Hellion advanced to the next round of the tournament.

Rating: 28

7l5GbTM.jpgJYpl5GT.jpg4Jdyu7l.jpg

*After the match Hellion continued to beatdown Pepper

*Papa Swoll made the save again and those two brawled. Papa looked like a legit badass going toe to toe with Hellion.

*Neither of them really got the upper hand as the locker room emptied and broke up the fight.

Rating: 40

sjwXSCF.jpgjmL9M40.jpg

*A simple angle where Willy got to show off his promo skills talking about how he is going to be the greatest USA Champion ever.

*SoVen stood stoically beside him looking menacing as all get out.

Rating: 33

ALey2sn.jpg vs bAr0GIm.jpg

Match 3: Tournament Match - Rocky Weatherfield vs Hank Whitman

*Another tournament match that featured not the best wrestling, but the crowd was into this match too.

*Both guys got in some solid offense, but something felt off, and these two just didn’t seem to click at all.

*Hank Whitman defeated Rocky Weatherfield in 15:17 by pinfall with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Hank Whitman advances in the tournament.

Rating 21

gnkt8eY.jpgeKbK0o9.jpgqeA3Pj4.jpgfYSKUY8.jpg

*An okay angle that showed Curt is better off by himself and not as a lackey to Barron.

*The Rhode Island Scholars called out the Diaz Boys and how they didn’t deserve a title shot, when a better team, themselves, were not given the opportunity.

*The Diaz Boys responded by coming out with a ref and ready for a fight.

Rating: 27

Match 4: Tag Team Championship The Diaz Boys © vs The Rhode Island Scholars

* A pretty good match that showed again how much better Logan is than anybody else on the roster. I don’t want to put down James or Curt (Barron is terrible), but Logan is just leaps and bounds ahead of them.

*The Diaz Boys controlled most of the match, but The Rhode Island Scholars used underhanded tactics to gain control. They were able to trap Logan in the ring and wear him down.

*A hot tag to James was all that she wrote, as he came in like a freaking tank and cleaned house.

*The Diaz Boys defeated The Rhode Island Scholars in 15:20 when James Diaz pinned Barron Royal with The Doomsday Device. The Diaz Boys make defence number one of the RIPW Tag Team Championship titles.

Love that Scythe won the world title. I've just caught up with this and I love it. I remember when you first posted it, and I loved how you separated everyone by perception.. really made it more easier to understand when 20 first came out. Love Diaz btw, he needs a push to the moon.
