Allowing other companies on your broadcaster

Recommended Posts

If you own your own broadcaster, it would be cool if you had the option to let other companies broadcast their TVs and events on your network. I think this idea goes really well with the new system of company relationships as this can be something two companies can discuss together. On the other side, if you have a really good relationship with a company that owns a broadcaster, you could convince them to put your shows and events on their network

I like this idea, but i think it should be something you should initiate.

Yeah, the idea would be that you contact the other company and have that be something you can offer them or ask them. AI companies would be able to do it too, but I imagine user companies would initiate the conversations most of the time.

And if it’s agreed to, you would be able to go to the broadcaster screen and negotiate the terms.

Hmm I like this idea but

I gotta ask though, If say we are playing as USPW and have our own network now, and say NYCW approaches us wanting a deal on our network, I imagine we'd have a right to accept or refuse but would we get a cut of their profits if we were to accept? I mean that would be realistic if we own the broadcaster.

Considering there is a "Company gets xxx% of the profit" option now, yeah^^

That’s how I would imagine it. How much of a cut they are willing to give would depend and their relationship with you, size, broadcaster coverage, etc.

Not just the cut, but the time slot could be determined as well. NYCW might be willing to take a graveyard slot if you have wide coverage, but CWA might want at least an evening slot.
