Spartacus
Anyone can use this for any purpose they would like. I'm very bad at noticing I have emails so there is no need to ask. No need to name me or anything like that. Glad I can contribute to the community

This is a simple mods that expand the random generated names in the game. There are two different versions. Version 1 is a default database replaces. It adds 1,346 names to both Team and Stable generation as well as bumps up the worker names to a total of 70,466 names. This database replaces the default database.

Version 2 is a standalone mod that has just the Team, Stable and Worker names. However, instead of the full 70,466 names it only has 32,000 worker names. This is because that is the max number that can be opened at one time. Version 2 is best to download if you want to add these names to a mod. Edit: When you import them you will end up with 31,850 worker names as due to spacing errors, some names were duplicated. I will go through these and try to fix that so there is a full 32,000 names. But in the mean time, 31,850 names is ok I guess.

Important Note for Worker Names in Version 1

As of right now, I don't know how many names the game can hold without crashing when you look at the list. In previous games, even if you had more names then the game could read at once it would just not load the extra names. This years game seems to crash when you try to open the worker names section when you have to many names. The worker generation is not effected by this. It will still draw from the entire list. I am waiting on a response from Adam to find out if he knows what the cap is so I could make a smaller database that can be imported to other mods.

Version 1 Download Link

https://www.mediafire.com/file/abh1nk8cj4h733z/Default.rar/file

Version 2 Download Link

https://www.mediafire.com/file/m02dpwsx1nemzof/Names.rar/file
LucasLutkus
I think Adam posted somewhere that the "crashable" number for display is 32,000. Maybe it is in the Handbook.
LucasLutkus
Found it, it is in the "Database Size Limits" area of the handbook. It states that the limit is 32,000.

I'll make make a reduced version of 32,000. Thank you!

Shianne_EB
Could you chop it up into two 32,000 name databases, and then import them both into one mod? That'd seem like the most efficient way to go about it..

That'd seem like the most efficient way to go about it.. I tried to do two 32,000 databases and then import one into the other. I figured it would allow me to do so and then crash afterwards but then you could have a 64,000 name database. Unfortunately it crashes a few hundred in. White Dolphin
Gonna test this out to see if it works. Thanks in advance if it does, cause it'll be a hella good addition. This post totally isn't a poor excuse to bump the thread for visibility.
