  • 2 weeks later...

OOC: Hey guys! I'm back, sorry for the delay I had a little bit of a covid scare this past week at home, luckily, it was just a false alarm but it prevented me from posting this. I wanna continue with this project. Thanks for all that posted predictions. Hope you enjoy the show!

TCW presents: TOTAL WRESTLING

Live from Albuquerque, NM

The show opens up with the regular music, pyro and a shot of the crowd but before we can get to the announce table The Syndicate music is heard and it’s members make their way down to the ring.

Hawkins cuts a promo about how was “screwed” last week by having to team up with an insolent child like Chord but that he is happy that the new CEO has realized his mistake and now he’s finally agreeing to have The Syndicate show it’s true dominance on Total Wrestling.

Jud9tAB.jpg?1

Wolf is interrupted by TCW’s CEO. DeColt says that while he did agree to have Hawkins choose a partner for tonight it’s not because he feels he has to obey The Syndicate. He says “Make no mistake kid. You don’t run this place… I do. And although it seems like old Tommy spoiled you like a little kid it’s not gonna be the same way with me in charge. If I gave you this match is to give you a chance to back up your words… prove that you’re not just a baby living of Cornell’s legacy… so tonight, if you win, you’ll still be the #1 contender… but if you lose… then you are not going to challenge for the World championship at least for a year.”

DeColt leaves as The Syndicate members shout at him.

SINGLES MATCH

Foxxy LaRue vs. Electric Dreamer

In a decent opener match Foxxy defeated Electric Dreamer by pinfall after a Flash Head Kick. Both women looked good during the match. LaRue moves on to the semifinals of the tournament.

Rating: 43

TAG TEAM MATCH FOR THE TCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Behemoths © vs. Devine Fortune

A quick victory for the champions. Shark pinned Devine after a Big Bite. During the match the challengers were constantly distracted by the presence of Floy Goldworthy which allowed the Behemoths to end the match quickly.

Rating: 61

After the match Nate Johnson and Eddie Chandler of The Elite rushed to the ring to beat up the losers. Shark and Titan joined in until Mighty Mo and Tana came to the rescue. All 4 teams started brawling as the show went to a commercial.

SINGLES MATCH FOR THE TCW TV TITLE

Greg Gauge © vs. Flying Jimmy Fox

In one of the best matches of the night Gauge managed to retain his title again via submission after locking the Proton Lock.

Rating: 67

After the match Gauge refused to break the hold until Foxx passed out. Then he asked for a microphone and taunted Benny Benson saying that next week it’ll be his turn.

Danielle Sweetheart managed to get a pinfall victory after a super kick and advance to the next round of the tournament.

We go backstage to Alex DeColt’s office where we see Matt Hocking trying to convince the boss to tell him what will the match be for the All Action Title and who will participate on it. DeColt seems tired and is about to tell him when Joshua Taylor interrupts. He says to Matt that “nobody cares about the midget title” and then proceeds to demand to be named #1 contender for the title as he beat Tornado last week. DeColt responded by telling Taylor that next week he’ll have one more challenge before he decides if he’s worthy of being a title contender.

SINGLES MATCH

Maverick vs. Dazzling Dave Diamond

In a decent brawl Maverick defeated DDD after a Tiger Claw DDT. Maverick looked strong on the match.

SINGLES MATCH

Troy Tornado vs. Freddy Huggins

In the best match of the night Troy Tornado managed to defeat Freddy Huggins after a Star Maker. The match saw Laura Huggins trying to distract Tornado but that backfired as she got accidentally hurt by her brother.

Rating: 70

After the match Tornado asked for a mic and said that he is tired of being treated as a has been. “I might not be the man I was ten years ago but I now have experience and, most importantly, my fire is lit once again. I will not stop until I’m at the top of TCW.”

It’s time for the main event and we see the entrances of The Syndicate and then the champ Aaron Andrews. Sammy’s music hits but he’s not seen anywhere. Then the show takes us backstage where we see Jay Chord brutally attacking Bach with a steel chair.

Sammy is left on laying on the floor while refs and medical staff check on him. Then back on the ring the announcer says Sammy has been deemed unable to compete tonight, so the match is now a handicap 2 on 1.

HANDICAP MATCH

Aaron Andrews vs. The Elite (Hawkins and Hammond)

In a very good main event, The Syndicate managed to defeat a very resilient Aaron Andrews after a Exploder Suplex from Hammond followed by a Full Moon Rising by Hawkins who scored the pinfall. After the match The Syndicate posed in the ring while the champ was laying on the mat and the show goes off the air.

OVERALL RATING: 70

Thoughts from the journal of Alex DeColt

Another show on the books and, while this wasn’t as good as the first one, I liked it and I think it helped on the build up to Malice. I know that some of the girls not being that well known hurt our ratings a bit but I was pleased with their in ring performance and I know that is just a matter of time before some of them become as popular as some of the guys.

Speaking of the guys I was really impressed by Troy Tornado. Given his physical condition he performed really well and maybe he does deserve a run at the top before he retires… I might have to think about it. On the other hand Gauge is just a future star and Flying Jimmy Foxx looked really good too so I might give him some good things for the future. This is a thing that really makes me happy, having so many talented guys to choose from and so many possibilities. It’s so different than having to find ways to make Jack and Ricky look good every single week… ugh.

Hill told me a guy on ACE called saying they weren’t very happy about the ratings because the show was “one point lower than their minimum standards” f**k them. I’m also tired of having to please some ignorant tv executives… maybe it’s time to start that project… I’ll have to make some calls.

<strong><em>Monday, Week 3 2020</em></strong></p><p>

<strong>TCW files for trademark of new names + this week’s card</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Very interesting news coming from Texas this week as TEW.com has learned that BriCo has filed for trademark the following names: “Total Wrestling Network” and “Phoenix Wrestling Company”.</p><p> </p><p>

The first name, apparently, is for an internet subscription network exclusive for TCW content which, is similar to what we reported two years ago about and idea coming from CGC management (led by Alex DeColt) that was about to launch before the company folded. It’ll surely be interesting to see what happens with this but, even more intriguing, is the trademark for PWC which sounds like a new promotion. We can only wonder if BriCo’s wanting to expand on the wrestling world or if some rumors are true that this is a new developmental promotion for TCW which also opens the question… what about MAW?</p><p> </p><p>

We’ll update this as soon as we get more information. Meanwhile here is the card for this week’s Total Wrestling</p><p> </p><p>
