I am a bit of a speed booker, so always liked that if I made a major mistake in the show, I could go back and fix it before running again.</p><p> </p><p>

Does it just not still autosave so you can end the process from the task manager? I understand that this is a risk of data corruption but if you were desperate, I'm sure once or twice will not hurt your save.

You can end the game normally now, but as the OP says, in 2016 you could just go back to the main menu and reload rather than restart the programme. For me that was a definite plus point, especially if you're testing for mods etc.

Ah yeah, I understand. Just making sure he knows that there's always an option after a mess up.

That's not to say that I don't like the "on the fly booking" too. I guess I'm greedy and want the best of both worlds !

During the show you can return to the booking screen, click the return to title screen button (the TEW one) then load the game from your last save. If you have auto save off and save before starting the show wouldn't that accomplish what you are reffering to? If not I'm misunderstanding and sorry about that.

I do miss being able to do that. It was good mistake-proofing for when you do something obviously stupid.

You can recover a save to an earlier point that is what I did the other day when I messed something up. It automatically backs it up to the Monday before I think. So hit recover instead of load game

If you manually save the game before running the show, I think exiting out will bring you back to the booking screen.

 

I know it works if your game crashes.
