Ron South, Grace Harper, and Curt Meritt are at the commentary booth, sitting on the edge of their seats in front of a good-sized crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

“Thank you for joining us tonight. I’m Ron South, your voice of choice in these trying times. We are coming from the West Loop Theater in Chicago, Illinois, and we have a blockbuster of a card for you here this evening. One of my broadcasting partners will tell you all about it. I throw it to the legend, the workhorse, the esteemed Grace Harper.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Thank you, Ron,” Grace adds. “It’s a big card tonight as Chicago Championship Wrestling presents Prohibition. The biggest match is our main event, where someone will be walking home with a big victory and the CCW Men’s Championship, whether it is Bootstrap Bill Harris, the winner of the St. Paddy’s Day Brawl, or Art Reed, the current champion.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Don’t forget about the CCW Women’s Tag Team Championship,” Curt Meritt interjects. “The Anti-Establishment are hard-hitting veterans going up against young, hungry up-and-comers in the 19th Amendment.”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="ie14WD7.png?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ie14WD7.png?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

“Let’s not waste anymore time and get right into the first match of the evening,” South concludes.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Papa Swoll slows down Kuroki’s speed and prowess with hard-hitting, punishing strikes and slams. At one point, the Papa locks Kuroki in a brutalizing bearhug, but Kuroki rakes the eyes to get out of it. Kuroki begins to get some heel shots in, but Swoll powers back up and hits his finish for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

In 9:52, Papa Swoll defeats Kiminobu Kuroki with the Pounce.</p><p> </p><p>

“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us here tonight for Chicago Championship Wrestling presents Prohibition. I would like to introduce you to my guest at this time: Ernest Youngman.”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="GH43uX8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GH43uX8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Ernest walks over and mean-mugs the crowd. He tugs at this silver jacket and pushes the shades up on his face. The future is clearly too bright for this star.</p><p> </p><p>

“Ernest,” Suzanne continues, “you are coming off of a solid performance at Saint Paddy’s Day Brawl. Going forward --”</p><p> </p><p>

“A solid performance?” Youngman interrupts. “Solid? I should have won! You throw me a match with 9 jugheads, 9 dumb brutes, is it any wonder I get tossed around like I did? I’m a technical wrestler, Suzanne. I come here to put on a performance. I steal the show. I was controlling the ring until that powerbomb.”</p><p> </p><p>

Youngman continues. “Next month, Chicago Championship Wrestling is hosting another event: Vendetta. That’s the perfect name because, man, do I have one. The winner of tonight’s match, Reed or Bootstrap, should have to face me in the main event at Vendetta. Don’t be afraid of your destiny, boys, because my destiny is to win that title.”</p><p> </p><p>

One man starts off for each team so that there are always three legal men in this matchup. The Moonshiners frequently battle back from double teams and McWade twin switcheroos. At one point, Machine Gun Marino tries to get involved but gets splashed on each side by Dean and Dallas McWade.</p><p> </p><p>

A spot goes awry when Lead Belly suplexes Luca, but kicks into the bottom rope, throwing off his momentum and causing both men to crash to the mat hard. Luca suffers a Whiplash Neck Strain, which throws him off for the rest of the match. Likewise, Lead Belly continues to relive the moment is not present mentally for the rest of the match.</p><p> </p><p>

The McWades step up as in-ring generals and begin calling spots in the ring and utilizing a strong tag-team moveset to pop the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

Grease Hogg, mixed with his professionalism, his work ethic, and his chemistry with Scarlett on ringside, is able to cover for his partner and complete the match. He improvises the finish, hitting Vito with a swinging neckbreaker for the finish.</p><p> </p><p>

In 13:47, the Moonshiners defeat the McWades and Men of Honor for the CCW Men’s Tag Team Championship.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="VTTvODD.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VTTvODD.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

“Fast Fingers” Eddie Tucson and the band heat up the crowd with an old jazz cover of “Ex’s and Oh’s” by Elle King.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="</p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SQ2N_VurqAk" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/SQ2N_VurqAk"</a> frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Steffi Chee struts to the ring and grabs the microphone from DeAnna Desire.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="pz4KYi1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pz4KYi1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

“Now, I put some feelers out there to see if there was anybody in Chicago woman enough to get in this ring with a true professional. I wanted to see the best this trash city has to offer.”</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd is booing her and throwing popcorn.</p><p> </p><p>

“I heard Oxford or Reed found someone good enough, but I’m warning you. I’ll put a sandwich on your back and you’ll starve to death. This is how I make my living. I’m Steffi Chee. Please, pretty please, with sugar on top, step into my world.”</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="</p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GW_gsNVM498" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/GW_gsNVM498"</a> frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

A song hits and up-and-coming sensation Foxxy LaRue comes out. The crowd isn’t entirely familiar with her, but she is quick to win over fans with her charisma and presence.</p><p> </p><p>

“Foxxy LaRue is here?” Grace asks. “I know her. She’s been wrestling around the country for a little while now. Very busy.”</p><p> </p><p>

“And she’s certainly no joke,” Ron South adds.</p><p> </p><p>

“I think she’s going to give Chee a run for her money,” Curt says. “Possibly with said sugar on top.”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="jGZ5QjI.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jGZ5QjI.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steffi Chee versus Foxxy LaRue</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="pz4KYi1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pz4KYi1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="oCo7H8o.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oCo7H8o.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ltqqYUR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ltqqYUR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Chee immediately goes for a double leg takedown, but LaRue is equal to it and pulls back. She darts back in but catches a kick to the head. Chee is down. She scrambles to her feet dazed. Sensing LaRue about to finish things quick, Chee continues to stay aggressive. She staggers forward but eats a running clothesline. Again, Chee quickly climbs to her feet, but eats another clothesline. LaRue fires up to the crowd and they buy in.</p><p> </p><p>

LaRue comes in to finish the job, but Chee reverses a grab, spins behind Foxxy, and snags her by the waist. Uh oh. Chee snaps in a german suplex and drops Foxxy on her neck, as well as the back of her head. Chee jumps on to Foxxy in full mount and begins throwing fists and elbows. The ref struggles to keep Chee in line as powerful shots threaten to knock LaRue out. Finally, Chee relinquishes full mount, but only to bounce off the ropes with a jumping elbow drop.</p><p> </p><p>

The match spills to the outside, where Chee continues to play dirty, as well as use her wrestling skills to keep Foxxy on the defensive. Chee plays to the crowd outside, but Foxxy comes back and gets them both in the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

After more back and forth, Foxxy has a big babyface comeback and finishes the match with a Flash Kick to the head. It’s all over. 1-2-3!</p><p> </p><p>

In 16:33, Foxxy LaRue defeats Steffi Chee with a Flash Head Kick.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>Findlay O’Farraday versus The Silencer</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="uCduKtM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uCduKtM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="oCo7H8o.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oCo7H8o.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="riztEMe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/riztEMe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="JBavxa2.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JBavxa2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The crowd seems much more into the Silencer these days, especially after his performance in Saint Paddy’s Day Brawl. With that said, there isn’t a person in this building that would think twice about testing the Big Bruiser, Findlay O’Farraday, not even his muscular opponent. With that said, The Silencer’s respect for the Irish Destroyer only goes so far, as he is clearly willing to engage in a war of fists with this great monster.</p><p> </p><p>

The bell rings and these two goliaths collide with a menagerie of fists, kicks, elbows, and knees. Findlay hammers the One-Man Militia with a big elbow and he can clearly see the Silencer attempting to knock the cobwebs loose, so he follows up with an even harder elbow to the chin.</p><p> </p><p>

WHAM!</p><p> </p><p>

The Silencer goes down on one knee. Findlay builds up steam as he runs toward the ropes. He comes back looking like a freight train and --- CRASH!!! A knee to the face flattens the Silencer. Cover! 1-2-Silencer kicks out.</p><p> </p><p>

“I haven’t seen such destruction since Godzilla and Mothra!” Curt Meritt exclaims.</p><p> </p><p>

“Mothra?” Ron South says, confused. “Why does everyone always bring up Mothra? King Ghidorah is the king of the monsters.”</p><p> </p><p>

“He’s not badder than Mothra,” Meritt argues.</p><p> </p><p>

“Ghidorah killed Mothra,” South fires back.</p><p> </p><p>

“Aw, I didn’t see that one,” Meritt admits.</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m surrounded by nerds,” Grace Harper says.</p><p> </p><p>

Regardless of whatever 1950s Japanese monster movie they resemble, Findlay and the Silencer battle towards the finish. Findlay goes for his atomic spinebuster, but the Silencer drops several clubbing axe-handle blows down on to the Bruiser’s head. Findlay drops the Silencer back down to his feet.</p><p> </p><p>

The Silencer boots Findlay in his stomach, slings Findlay up over his back, marches across the ring and slams him to the mat. 1-2-3! It’s all over.</p><p> </p><p>

In 14:34, the Silencer defeats Findlay O’Farraday with a Drop Zone.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="VTTvODD.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VTTvODD.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>Evren versus Blake ©</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="GI8uPSW.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GI8uPSW.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="oCo7H8o.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oCo7H8o.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Do4qJ2c.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Do4qJ2c.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="JBavxa2.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JBavxa2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The announce team hypes up the match as the competitors make their way to the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

“It’s been a wild ride for Evren so far in Chicago Championship Wrestling,” South says. “She’s made a lot of enemies leading up to this match.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I never had a lot of friends in the locker room, Ron,” Grace adds. “But it doesn’t really matter when you’re on top with the belt. Let the title be your friend and take the respect that comes with it.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah, but that reputation is all for nothing if Evren can’t capture the title here tonight,” Curt notes.</p><p> </p><p>

The bell rings and before Steph can finish stretching and pulling on the rope next to her, Evren jumps her and begins raining down forearms. Steph tries to back into the corner and cover up, but Evren furiously unleashes strikes to take her to the ground. Blake cowers in the corner, eating a series of stomps before she is able to slide under the bottom rope, get out of the ring, and hobble around the ringside area.</p><p> </p><p>

“I think Steph Blake just saw her life flash before her eyes!” Ron South exclaims as the crowd roars with excitement.</p><p> </p><p>

Evren rolls out of the ring and is right back on Blake with big right hands. Blake quickly rolls back into the ring. Evren follows, but Blake begins stomping on the challenger in an attempt to get an edge. It works, and Blake slows Evren down, who struggles to climb to her feet amidst Blake’s hard stomps.</p><p> </p><p>

Blake, the veteran whose skills are declining in the twilight of her career, is not able to keep up the fast pace for long and the match slows down to a methodical, more psychological pace.</p><p> </p><p>

Back and forth, each competitor gets in their big moves and looks to be close to finishing off the other. Finally, Evren looks to lock in the Widow’s Snare, her renamed dragon sleeper where she wraps her legs around the victim’s waist in a grapevine hold and uses her arms to lock in an inverted facelock.</p><p> </p><p>

“Blake is in a tremendous amount of pain. I don’t see how she can get out of this,” Curt says.</p><p> </p><p>

“Wait a minute. What the hell is she doing down here?”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="oXz4hI2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oXz4hI2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Becca Barton makes her way to ringside and calls out for Evren. Barton climbs up on the apron, threatening to get in the ring, and Evren breaks the hold in case she has to protect herself.</p><p> </p><p>

“Let’s go. Get in here,” Evren calls out.</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m just here to see what the big deal is,” Barton retorts. “Since you couldn’t give me my match, and you’re in here screwing up.”</p><p> </p><p>

Evren charges at Barton and knocks her off the apron with a yakuza kick.</p><p> </p><p>

The match continues with Barton laying on the ground, but Blake is able to recover from the submission and drills Evren with a kick to the stomach. Evren reverses an attempt at a DDT. She flies toward the ropes, but as she is coming back for a Dark Flight flying knee, Barton sticks her hand in the ring, snatches Evren’s ankle, and trips her up. Referee Erin Lawrence doesn’t see it.</p><p> </p><p>

Evren stumbles forward into a vicious Steph Blake DDT. Blake makes the cover and gets the win.</p><p> </p><p>

In 23:39, Steph Blake defeats Evren and retains her championship with a DDT.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<img alt="VTTvODD.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VTTvODD.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="vfd3hI0.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vfd3hI0.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

As Steph Blake celebrates retaining her championship, Becca Barton rolls in the ring, jumps on Evren, and starts laying into her with a series of right hands. Evren tries to cover up, but it’s clear that she is out of it because of the DDT.</p><p> </p><p>

Barton stands up and gestures for Blake to join her. Blake shrugs her shoulders, walks across the ring, and the two women begin taking turns stomping on Evren.</p><p>

Ava Anderson and Lily Snyder make their way to the wrong as unpleasantly as possible. They sneer at the crowd and make rude gestures.</p><p> </p><p>

The band begins playing the champions theme. Trixie on the microphone belts out a “Paint It Black” cover.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jQYOQOBc57A?start=15" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/jQYOQOBc57A?start=15"</a> frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The Anti-Establishment come out with the belts and they look ready for some violence. Hellcat pounds on her chest and howls to the audience. Pamela Rojo rolls into the ring, jumps on the middle turnbuckle, and presents her title to the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

“Trouble is about to roll, here in the theater, my friends,” Ron South says.</p><p> </p><p>

The match begins with Hellcat Hernandez and Lily Snyder. Hellcat howls and struts around the ring as she tries to intimidate Snyder, who is unwilling to engage one half of the women’s tag team champions.</p><p> </p><p>

They eventually engage and the 19th Amendment does a fantastic job of using Hellcat’s aggressive style against her, picking her apart and cutting the ring in half so that Rojo can’t tag in.</p><p> </p><p>

As Hellcat is heavily worn down, she eventually gets the hot tag to Pamela Rojo, who cleans house with a series of arm drags, dropkicks, and eventually, one big plancha to the outside, taking out both Snyder and Anderson.</p><p> </p><p>

Eventually, the match concludes when Snyder eats a slam into the guardrail on the outside. Hellcat and Rojo double Anderson in the ring, and Hellcat slingshots Ava into Rojo’s bulldog for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

In 23:49, Hellcat pins Ava Anderson after a Slingshot Bulldog. The Anti-Establishment retain the CCW Women's Tag Team titles.</p><p> </p><p>

Suzanne Brazzle is at the bar with Carl Batch.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="mOUdpPc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mOUdpPc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="hPQ4al5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hPQ4al5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Suzanne speaks into the microphone. “At this time, I am joined by manager, hype man, and all around entrepreneur Carl Batch. Carl, I understand you wanted to share something with the Chicago Championship Wrestling crowd here tonight.”</p><p> </p><p>

Carl leans into the microphone, waving off the audience as he is heavily booed. “Suzanne, as the Miracle Blonde and a performer who seems to be well-liked by the audience, do me a solid and tell these fans to shut up if they want to hear what I have to say!”</p><p> </p><p>

The fans boo harder, and Suzanne is only able to smile, showing off her big, pearly whites.</p><p> </p><p>

“Fine,” Carl fumes. “I guess you’ll just have to get more of a visual demonstration, rather than an auditory lesson.”</p><p> </p><p>

Carl snaps his fingers and a monstrous lady with facepaint walks over the bar and folds her arms next to Batch.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="GsAJaPH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GsAJaPH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

“Meet Gorgon. This is my newest signing, fresh off of a warpath in United States Pro Wrestling. Now she’s here, and she wants top competition. And top competition, I will provide for her.”</p><p> </p><p>

Suzanne is breathless. She catches herself and takes a deep breath. “Carl Batch, how can you pull off such an acquisition? What did it take to sign this big powerhouse?”</p><p> </p><p>

“I’ll tell you because we’re friends, Suzanne,” Carl says. “When I call people in this business, they don’t call me Carl anymore. You know what they call me? Lucrative. That’s what it means to be in business with me. It’s lucrative. I’m manager of the year. That’s why. I can get deals done. Ladies, be wary in the CCW women’s locker room, because very soon, you might just turn to stone.”</p><p> </p><p>

Bill comes out first to huge applause as the winner of the Saint Paddy’s Day Brawl.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="</p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wAQ7autd61g" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/wAQ7autd61g"</a> frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Bill’s glittery green tights shine in the spotlight for the main event. He rolls into the ring and plays to the audience.</p><p> </p><p>

The band plays Art Reed’s music out and the fans are absolutely engaged.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="</p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/td-_pUPVjdo?start=20" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/td-_pUPVjdo?start=20"</a> frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe><p>

</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Reed stops in the middle of the entranceway and holds the title up high for everyone to see. He oozes championship mettle.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The match starts, and the two shake hands. It’s a sportsmanly, back and forth match. Very good technical wrestlers, both men execute and counter each other’s holds, techniques, and skills. As the match goes on, both men tire from the technical grapples and every now and then, a punch or an elbow makes its way into the mix until eventually, the two break all barriers down and begin slugging each other back and forth.</p><p> </p><p>

A backdrop from Art Reed sets Bootstrap up for Art’s moonsault from the top. Art goes for the moonsault, but Bill puts his knees up. Art’s ribs crash on Bill’s knees. Bill goes for the pin but only gets a two count.</p><p> </p><p>

The two fight on until Art Reed gets Harris up for a samoan drop. Bootstrap fights out of it, but Reed knocks him out with a spinning heel kick. Reed goes for a pin, but only gets a two count. He tries for another samoan drop, but this time, he carries Harris up to the second turnbuckle. Harris counters it by maneuvering down Reed’s back. Landing on his feet, he catapults Reed with a vicious powerbomb. Bill collapses on Reed for the win, but Reed kicks out at 2 again!</p><p> </p><p>

Both men eventually stagger to their feet and exchange a few more punches, kicks, and slams. Bootstrap shoots Reed off the ropes, attempting to catch him in a sidewalk slam. Reed swings around, in the air, and lands on his feet, planting Bill with an incredibly stiff DDT. Art makes the cover 1-2-NO!</p><p> </p><p>

Art can’t believe it. Both men slowly get to their feet. Art gets there first and goes for a suplex. While his head is down, Bill fires his knee upward, catching Art in the face. Art staggers backward. Bill staggers back into the corner. He comes sprinting out of the corner and launches his whole body into the air, foot first. Bootcutter!</p><p> </p><p>

1-2-3! He did it!</p><p> </p><p>

In 24:57, Bootstrap Bill defeats Art Reed with a Bootcutter. Bootstrap Bill Harris is the new CCW Men’s Champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Hey guys. If you're wondering what's been up about the lack of posts, I just moved, so it's been an adjustment. But things are back to normal, so I'll be posting again.

I'm also going to try post less chapter-based stuff going forward so I can get more show posts out. I'm already at 28000 words, but I want to get more events out.

Joanne Rodriguez is in the middle of a lengthy podcast interview. She sits in a massive leather desk chair. Her headphones cover her long, brown hair. Joanne has an assortment of technology in front of her: a microphone, a mixer, a desktop computer, a laptop, and a tablet. Behind her is a massive poster of herself, posed on the middle turnbuckle of a wrestling ring, holding up a championship.</p><p> </p><p>

She sits quietly, nodding and smiling, listening intently to her guest across the table from her.</p><p> </p><p>

“And that’s when they threw in a second loaf of bread...and an extra cup of coffee!” exclaims Suzanne Brazzle, who throws her head back, laughing and showing off those perfect, pearly white teeth.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="mOUdpPc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mOUdpPc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Joanne laughs with her. “That’s why you’re the Miracle Blonde. Even in retirement, people still give you free stuff.”</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne fiddles with a laptop, going over a few documents.</p><p> </p><p>

“Speaking of retirement, I hear you are finding ways to stay busy outside of the ring?” Joanne asks.</p><p> </p><p>

“Well, somewhat outside the ring. I’m still getting into it though,” Brazzle says.</p><p> </p><p>

Joanne reads from the website on her laptop. “The Miracle Blonde Wrestling Academy. This is accurate?” she asks.</p><p> </p><p>

“I’m staying on with CCW as a road agent and interviewer, but I’m also opening up a training school. We need more great female talent in the wrestling business. Steffi’s getting up there in bumps. Steph is winding down. J-Ro is thinking of making a comeback, I heard.”</p><p> </p><p>

“You heard wrong,” Joanne laughs, “although I do wish women’s wrestling was highlighted more in SWF, TCW, and USPW. Come on, big leagues. Step your game up.”</p><p> </p><p>

“And that’s what I enjoy about Chicago Championship. They just brought in Foxxy and Gorgon. The big names in men’s wrestling won’t give us a second look --”</p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah, I heard Evren put in a call to Joss Thompson when his contract came up -- “ J-Ro interrupts.</p><p> </p><p>

“Couldn’t get a call back!” Suzanne says, absolutely bewildered. “But Evren can get some great female talent. These ladies will just have to be the strong backs that build this company into the mainstream.”</p><p> </p><p>

J-Ro says, “That’s right. So tell me about Vendetta.”</p><p> </p><p>

Suzanne nods and pulls out a show card. She hands it to Joanne, who looks it over. “We just came off our best show ever, Prohibition. Bootstrap Bill won the men’s belt. Blake retained the women’s. The Anti-Establishment --”</p><p> </p><p>

“Oh, they’re really good. Love Pam and Hellcat.” Rodriguez notes.</p><p> </p><p>

“Outstanding workers. Really put on a show,” Suzanne responds, nodding her head. “The Moonshiners finally won the men’s tag team belts.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Little friction with Scarlett, am I right?” Joanne throws in. “It seems like Scarlett, their manager, has a thing for Grease Hogg. Am I right?”</p><p> </p><p>

“A little favoritism there, but the heart wants what it wants,” Brazzle says. “And I think Grease Hogg and her have a little thing for each other. But Lead Belly is a true friend, I believe. So no worries about a betrayal there.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Enough about the last event,” J-Ro says. “Tell me about this card right here. It looks like a great night of fights.”</p><p> </p><p>

Suzanne says, “Absolutely. Becca and Evren are going to have a grudge match. Christy Higgins won a battle royale for number one contender, so she’s got a match against Steph Blake for the title.”</p><p> </p><p>

Rodriguez nods her head in excitement, looking at Brazzle, then back at the card in her hands.”</p><p> </p><p>

Suzanne continues, “Bootstrap Bill is defending against Reed in a rematch, but Youngman snuck his way back in, so it’s a triple threat. There’s a fatal four way tag for the number one contenders for the women’s tag championships. The Moonshiners defend theirs against La Cosa Nostra...the Men of Honor.</p><p> </p><p>

“I’ll be there,” Joanne assures Suzanne. She thanks the Miracle Blonde for coming by.</p><p> </p><p>
