During this time Paul Heyman wouldn't be as driven so much as he is settled into not opening his own business. So he is going to have the highest creative personality or one of the ones regarding giving advice to talent. This is the time period he started doing that in OVW and continues to be that way today.

 

 

 

I don't think Heyman needs one of the set personality options (you don't need one of the 'specific personality' options). I think he can be represented by the additional traits alone.

 

Something like:

Creative Dynamo

Passes on Knowledge

Highly Strung

Motormouth

 

Possibly:

Money Motivated - I don't think that was necessarily true at the time but would probably do a good job of representing his fairly savvy negotiation skills

 

As for Morrison/Nitro - Needy. Generally he's fine but if things start going wrong, he blows them out of proportion to his own detriment (see: the Trish incident / anything where he felt the need to defend Melina). I wouldn't give him Free Spirit as I don't think there are stories of him being unreliable. Maybe also make him Thin-Skinned but that might be stretching it a bit too far.

So we probably should list Eddie Guerrero as a former hard drug user. Also...as much as it pains me to say this, Edge should have at least the start of neck problems. Should Lita and/or Ric Flair have the cheater attribute?

 

Eddie is listed as a former user of Hard Drugs and Steroids as is Edge(as well as having Neck Problems) and Lance Cade (his father had an interview when he died where he said Lance did steroids back when he was at OVW) and both Edge and Lita have Unfaithful as Personality traits.

 

Does Ric Flair have an history of cheating? I know back in the day, they all kind of got around and he's been divorced a bunch of times but I dunno if the divorces were because of him cheating.

The low number of women was something that bugged me when I started to play the mod more like an appetizer for TEW 2020 a few months ago.

Trying to build a legit women's division, let alone a whole company, with the women available is tough to say the least.

Hey everyone! Hope you and yours are all doing as well as you can during this troubled time all around the world and keeping safe.

 

It's been a long, long, long time since I last posted an update on this mod, unfortunately due to a lot of circumstances (including me falling out of love with wrestling and the game amongst others) I haven't worked on the mod at all.

 

But I plan to change that, I recently gone back to it as the mod was not where I wanted it to be yet.

 

So far all that's been done have been stats and popularity retweaks to a lot of indie guys and the respective companies they had contracts with. I've been going through these companies as well re-tweaking their products, popularity, announcers (and the experience between the announcers) and have also created "The Wrestling Channel" broadcaster which was a broadcaster in the UK & Ireland that aired a lot of shows during this time and for some reason wasn't in the Data yet.

 

As for the picture pack, that's going to be on the backburner for now as I want to concentrate on tweaking the data to have a more balanced world.

 

As always, any feedback is appreciated and I'll soon edit this post to show off some of the tweaks I've made to gather your opinions on them.

So this is taking longer than I expected but I'm happy with the progress made to the mod so far, popularity and stats have gone under a big overhaul as I felt a lot of stats were inflated and didn't fit the 2005 time period.

 

Unfortunately, I don't feel like this version is ready yet for release as I feel it requires more testing since I went through every company that's currently active and changed their popularity and tweaked products, owners and bookers and their respective business skills and since a lot of these companies employ 40+ workers, I need to make sure the workers pop matches the company.

 

 

Here's the changelog of everything that's been changed so far:

 

• Updated various indendepent wrestlers stats and pop
  
• Updated incorrect DoBs and debut years
  
• Updated stats for workers in WWE, OVW, TNA and ROH
  
• Revised and updated most companies' popularity and products in order to keep the game more balanced
  
• Revised and updated rosters for indie companies as a lot of them featured workers that hadn't wrestled for them in months. My cut-off date was 31st of December 2004 so anyone that hadn't had a match in the whole month of December has had their contract removed
  
• Added missing key out-of-ring workers to some companies (commentators, board and bookers)
  
• Added British Championship Wrestling as a company
  
• Added and edited some alliances between companies
  
• Removed a few narratives that affected workers in order to keep the game more random
  
• Added Deep South Wrestling as a performance center for WWE (this is one I'm really unsure about, technically DSW was a promotion and not a performance centre but I'm not sure how I feel about WWE having both DSW and OVW and later on also FCW as child companies)
  
• Added The Wrestling Channel as a Broadcaster (UK-Based) and its respective shows
  
• Aaron Aguilera (aka Jesús) starts the game with a WWE contract as he was still with the company by 31st of December 2004 (and apparently stayed with them until April 2005)
  
• Added Yukinori Taniguchi as a User Character. Taniguchi is better known as the founder of Yuke's who bought controlling 51% stake of New Japan in 2005 and ultimately saved the company.

Please note that the stars that are compared are the biggest stars in Beta 3 (updated) vs. their stats and popularity in version 2 as a lot of biggest stars for TNA and ROH in Beta 2 weren't actually contracted to the companies anymore so that's been fixed for Beta 3.
