mrwhippy
Sorry to bring this up again but it needs addressing. Without the Touring contracts in this version and no hiring rule to prevent companies signing foreigners on a touring/handshake-only deal, it’s pretty much impossible to play a historical mod. Prime example, normally on TEW2016 you’d have AJPW bring in an American guy (let’s use The Fantastics as the example) for most tours but they can carry on working in their home region the rest of the time. Now without the Touring contract or a hiring rule forcing the AI to offer only a handshake deal, I’ve now got AJPW signing these guys on massive exclusive written contracts and now they can’t work elsewhere (eg. Mid South back home). Please can this be addressed. I’ve tweaked as many things as possible in the editor but I can’t find a middle ground. Either you nerf the guy’s popularity so much that the Japanese company doesn’t even touch him (thus negating the whole Gaijin tradition in Japan) or you accept they get signed on Written contracts (thus destroying the American scene). It really doesn’t work with the current setup and I think when popular mods start getting released this will become a big issue for many players. tryker2710
Maybe if it could be coded so that touring companies offer handshake deals for the length of the tour? I think that would be a nice simulation of what happened previously
