5SSW June 2024

5SSW World Champion - MAYA [defeated The Breaker at Joshimania 29]

She has been Maruya's successor in this game. At 32, she has plenty in the tank to help out before the next big thing arrives.

5SSW All Asian Champion - Spider Isako [defeated Toku Kijmuta at Big Crush 2024]

Not much to say about Isako's reign yet. She defended against Toku Kijmuta at Joshimania as they are currently feuding and have been since the tour before Big Crush. Some youngsters helped Isako retain by attacking Kijmuta during their Joshimania match and this storyline has been progressing smoothly as of now with acceptable heat.

5SSW Triangle Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly and Simony Sentinel at Joshimania 29]

Another one of my pet projects. Tsujimura has been a tag team champion before and I'm experimenting putting singles gold and grooming her for a main event run. Too bad her personality type will make her a difficult main eventer if she succeds there.

5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi sisters (Emiko Miyoshi and Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Angel Alliance at Wrestle Challenge 16]

The best babyface tag team in 5SSW and tailor made for high spots matches being a luchador(Emiko) and a technician flyer(Shiromi). They hold the 5 highest rated tag team matches in my company since the beggining of the game. Sadly, Emiko has been somewhat injury prone so they usually have shorter reigns with the belts.

5SSW October 2024

5SSW World Champion - MAYA [defeated The Breaker at Joshimania 29]

5SSW All Asian Champion - Gemmei Oonishi [defeated Spider Isako at Japan Slam]

Isako kayfabe put Toku Kijmuta on the shelf with a broken arm and the storyline is that she's paranoid of Toku coming back to get her. Oonishi used this to win the title by having her tag partner dress as Kijmuta and appear on the crowd, startling Isako and giving her the opportunity to hit a finisher. Taking a page off WCW sillyness with the fake Stings.

5SSW Triangle Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly and Simony Sentinel at Joshimania 29]

This is someone who has been delivering huge performance ratings. Her title matches have been all over 70s. Even when there is one subpar worker in the match. It's great for a belt like the Triangle Title.

5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi sisters (Emiko Miyoshi and Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Angel Alliance at Wrestle Challenge 16]

Emiko once again suffering injuries. At least the most recent ones have been minor. It's great that her tag partner has the tools to carry her and I have been choosing their opponents with that in mind. Once she is healed, I can pick some of my younger teams to get a title match and get the rub of working with the top girls.

J Grand Prix 2024 winner - Machiko Matsuda [defeated The Breaker at the finals]

The storyline writes itself. The former Kanto Express colliding for the world title after one won the main event of Joshimania e the other got the J Grand Prix. It's gonna be great. They are slated to wrestle at Final Attack.

As for the former LMP and runner up, she got a huge push on the tournament being the overrall leader of points before facing the winner of the other block. A way to keep her relevant and with momentum.

Using my own promotion, my current champions are;

CRUSH World - Trinity Fatu (72 days) beat Taya Valkyrie for the belt.

CRUSH California Dream - Ruby Soho (72 days) beat Daria Berenato for the belt. This is her 2nd reign.

CRUSH World Tag Team - VXT (Deonna Purazzo & Chelsea Green) (16 days) beat Rina Yamashita & Mei Suruga for the belts. This is their 2nd reign.

REINA World - Jazmin Benitez (aka Mercedes Martinez) (31 days) beit Mei Suruga for the belt.

The REINA World was bought on a whim as I was going to try and run one of my shows as a Mexico/Japan only show but can't get a TV deal in Japan so scrapped the idea. I kept the belt though as I'd paid for it!

WWWF Intercontinental - Pedro Morales (x2)

WWWF Light Heavyweight - Johnny Valiant (x2)

WWWF World Tag Team - Pat Patterson & Rocky Johnson

Jan 1970 - July (Wk.4) 1975

WWWF World Heavyweight - 'Superstar' Billy Graham

WWWF Intercontinental - The Spoiler (x2)

WWWF Light Heavyweight - Victor Rivera (x3)

WWWF World Tag Team - Ernie Ladd & Ivan Koloff (x2)

Superstar made his statement. First he 'injured' Andre the Giant during an arm wrestling match, then he rudely disposed of Mid-West legend The Crusher with a cheap countout victory, and finally Graham defeated Bruno in a shock upset at Shea Stadium. The rematch went no better for Bruno. In a classic cage match, Superstar debuted his 'Sammartino countermove' to the world and landed The Graham Slam. Despite being a total heel, Superstar's popularity has exploded and has become the number one wrestler in the world. He's drawn the attention of Muhammad Ali, who shows up from time to time bragging about how great Superstar really is. Antonio Inoki has taken Ali's talk as an insult to wrestling and has been challenging the boxing champ every chance he gets. Ali said he'd rather watch Superstar kick his butt.

The Spoiler battled to the very end with Pedro Morales and locked in the Hart Krusher in a submission match to start his 2nd run as Intercontinental Champion. Morales went on vacation back home to boost the ranks at CSP for a few months and tag with young talent Jose Luis Rivera. The Spoiler has since instituted an open challenge policy and kicked things off by defeating old rival Abe Jacobs in a Loser Leaves Town Match. It was Jacobs who raised the stakes during an argument with Gary Hart and ultimately ended up paying the penalty. Jacobs signed a contract with NWF shortly thereafter.

Ernie Ladd & Ivan Koloff put their differences aside and took aim at tag champs Pat Patterson & Rocky Johnson. Recruiting a young David Schultz and having Sweet Daddy Siki in their ranks helped the intimidation factor as Ladd-Koloff Ltd formed and took the WWWF by storm. Cheap tactics and distractions helped them claw their way into a match with Patterson and Rocky in which they won fair and square. Ladd was injured by Johnson and pushed the rematch back a whole month while the rivalry raged on with Siki and Schultz standing in for Ladd. Ladd swears their upcoming rematch isn't a rematch, it's revenge for what Rocky did to Ladd's hand during their wild title match.

Victor Rivera snapped up the Light Heavyweight title for a third time after a miscue from Angelo Mosca cost Johnny Valiant the belt. Valiant and Freddie Blassie kicked Mosca out of their stable as a result and Victor moved into a hot rivalry with Tony Parisi. This time things look dominant for Rivera. He's got Gorilla Monsoon in his corner and his ring psychology keeps the fans locked in place as he angles for his signature, the abdominal stretch. Valiant has moved on, not even bothering with his rematch clause mentioning, 'There's bigger fish in the sea than this guy...'.
