  1. Nice long game. What database are you using? Tanahashi seems to be on a roll.
  2. Well, it's been a minute. Really glad this diary is back. I wish you better luck this time. Now, onto the predictions: Main Event 3-way Tag Team Match First Fall wins Danielle Sweatheart & Alexis Littlefeather vs Tamara McFly & Jaime Quine vs The Assassin & Amber Allen Single Match Foxxy LaRue vs Roxy Kitten Singles Match Amy Galaxy vs Talia Quinzel Singles Match Kathy McMahon vs Power Girl Singles match Nurse Darla Knight vs Coco De La Soleil Opening Match Sprite vs Kallie Kinney
  3. Lucy Stone-Maxmillion gets born. Lucy Stone-McFly, however, is a victim of the butterfly effect. 🦋
  4. 5SSW April 2028 5SSW World Champion - Hoshiko Tagawa [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly at Joshimania 32] And soon to complete a full year with the belt, Hoshiko has been on one of this game's biggest runs. Her stable has been on a NWO like rampage that will culminate at the upcoming Joshimania. As for now, she has become the company's most popular star and among the most well known wrestlers in the world even winning female wrestler of the year 2027. However, all 'good' things come to an end and her next challenger is someone who has been 'quiet' for some time. 5SSW All Asian Champion - Emiko Miyoshi [defeated Rika Tsujimura at Reign Supreme 2028] Miyoshi started at January what will be a transitional run with the All Asian belt for a couple of reasons. She is currently on a storyline with her former partner Shiromi who clocked her with a dynamo tag trophy stolen from Selina Svelte to turne heel a break up my most successful tag team. It's a promising story. 5SSW Triangle Champion - Sarah "Breaker" Taylor [defeated K.T Devonshire and Nami Genda at Dynamo Tag 2027] LMP is turning back the clock to when she was the world champion and destroying everyone. Her last defence, she did a Roman Reigns and pinned both her opponents to retain the belt. At Joshimania she will defend against Maisie Laurels and former Tagawa-gun member Rina Kasahara in a ladder match. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - Tagawa-gun(Ingegard David & Cassie O'Peter) [defeated The Miyoshi Sisters(Emiko Miyoshi & Shiromi Miyoshi) at Final Attack 2027] The two youngsters will have their hands full at Joshimania where they will defend against the Dynamo tag winners in a tornado tag team match. Will probably be a great one. Joshimania 2028 card: Hoshiko Tagawa vs. Spider Isako for the 5SSW World Title Emiko Miyoshi vs. SHIROMI for the 5SSW All Asian Title Machiko Matsuda vs Romi Yamato inside the Steel Cage Tagawa-gun(David & O'Peter) vs The Uprising(Quinzel & Svelte) for the 5SSW Tag Team Title Sarah Taylor vs. Maisie Laurels vs. Rina Kasahara in a ladder match for the 5SSW Triangle Title Miwako Katsukawa(W/Yuma Maruya) vs. Catherine Garner[regen](w/Megumi Nakajima) The Magic Three Rumble (20 woman battle royal) The young Lion challenge (6 way elimination match between young lions. The winner gets to choose which stable she joins.)
  5. 5SSW December 2027 5SSW World Champion - Hoshiko Tagawa [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly at Joshimania 32] Our champion managed to fend off the musketeers with defences against both Katsukawa and Yamato. The Romi Yamato vs Hoshiko Tagawa main event being one my highest rated in this entire game(93) as they had a 20+ minute submission match ending when Tagawa (kayfabe) broke Yamato's arm with her cross armbreaker finisher as Yamato refused to give up. Romi Yamato is now getting some time off to sell the injury (and have a kid). At the next PPV(Final Attack) Miwako Katsukawa faced Tagawa to avenge her fallen partner but she was unsuccessful via a distraction caused by a Nami Genda run-in. They are slated to fight again at Reign Supreme inside the Steel Cage. 5SSW All Asian Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Etsuko Arihyoshi in a retirement match at J Grand Prix 2027] Just as advertised, Tsujimura took Etsuko's role as the wrestling machine holding the All Asian title. At the present moment, she has only faced off against youngsters still climbing up the card. The first 'real' challenge for her reign is gonna be Machiko Matsuda in a little storyline about little snake Matsuda using tricks to overcome the monster face Tsujimura. 5SSW Triangle Champion - Sarah "Breaker" Taylor [defeated K.T Devonshire and Nami Genda at Dynamo Tag 2027] The former "Little Miss Perfect" finally holds gold again after her world title run some time ago. Once again, Nami Genda failed to achieve any kind of milestone at the service of Tagawa-gun and has been compensating her failures by interfering in every single Hoshiko Tagawa match and basically acting as a bodyguard to try appease her boss. As for Sarah Taylor, she is a babyface now and has been forming an alliance with another former heel in Rina Kasahara to try and rid 5SSW of Hoshiko Tagawa and her merry band of misfits. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - Tagawa-gun(Ingegard David & Cassie O'Peter) [defeated The Miyoshi Sisters(Emiko Miyoshi & Shiromi Miyoshi) at Final Attack 2027] The dynamo tag tournament once again eluded the Miyoshi Sisters as they lost at the finals to a the returning team of The Uprising. This made the most successful team of this 5SSW game finally show some cracks as Shiromi hasn't been taking the latest loss at the Dynamo Tag well. Miscommunication cost them the titles at the following PPV since neither could really get into the match and it made for an easy win for the top heel stable to really cement them as this big company wide threat as the next Joshimania inches close.
  6. 5SSW September 2027 5SSW World Champion - Hoshiko Tagawa [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly at Joshimania 32] Still the champ and with Tagawa-gun unleashing chaos upon the whole company, Hoshiko is riding high. Since she's the world champion, she decided to skip the J Grand Prix and instead, put her stablemates to represent the team at both blocks. (Nami Genda & Ingegard David(random gen) being the Tagawa-gun girls) The Grand Prix ended with Tagawa-gun having an unsuccessful stint with David being middle of the pack on block B and Genda losing to Romi Yamato at the final. Yamato and her fellow musketeer Miwako Katsukawa are currently feuding with Tagawa-gun as Romi chases the champion. 5SSW All Asian Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Etsuko Arihyoshi in a retirement match at J Grand Prix 2027] This was basically a passing of the torch from the veteran technician no one in her prime. It was face vs face and I gave them more than 20 minutes in a technical masterclass to close Etsuko's career on a high note. While it could have been better, 81 is solid enough and amazing for a 39 year old facing time decline. 5SSW Triangle Champion - K.T Devonshire [defeated Eri Sato and Sarah "Breaker" Taylor at Joshimania 32] K.T has been having a busy reign with plenty title defences and even a J Grand Prix run. This has been her coming out part in 5SSW. She just reached 'Well Known' and has fine momentum. She is currently in the tweener stable "S.K.I 1" under leader Fuyuko Higa. The stable has been kinda directionless outside of Devonshire since they are in somewhat of a slump. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi Sisters(Emiko Miyoshi & Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Musketeers(Miwako Katsukawa & Romi Yamato) at Big Crush 2027] Still the champions and the team to beat in the division. Emiko had a good showing at the J Grand Prix finishing 3º for Block A with a draw against Eri Sato costing her 2º place. Since she has been mostly a tag team girl, I guess this was fine to start establishing her as a singles threat as well. Shiromi, on the other hand, has been 100% focused on the team. Her current storyline is an obsession with finally winning the Dynamo tag that has eluded the team since their formation.
  7. An update on the old 5SSW game. 5SSW May 2027 5SSW World Champion - Hoshiko Tagawa [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly at Joshimania 32] The last remaining member of "The New ANTI" after everyone else(Nakajima, Tai, Kijmuta) retired or defected(Kasahara). Now she leads her own stable(Tagawa-gun) which is more or less a spiritual successor to the new ANTI as the top heel faction in 5SSW. The feud between Tagawa and McFly lasted since the middle of the previous year and culminated in a 89 rated main event match which is pretty good considering Hoshiko Tagawa isn't known as a show stopper. 5SSW All Asian Champion - Etsuko Arihyoshi [defeated Ingegard David(gen wrestler) at Queendom Parade 2026] An year-long reign in what is Etsuko's last run. She's soon to be 38 and has announced her retirement the month before. The plan is for her to drop it at the main event of the J Grand Prix which is the last PPV before her retirement is due. 5SSW Triangle Champion - K.T Devonshire [defeated Eri Sato and Sarah "Breaker" Taylor at Joshimania 32] Former Katya Kornishkova. I decided to have her wrestle under her real name and a different kind of character. She is still pretty young this far into the game and I see big things ahead of her. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi Sisters(Emiko Miyoshi & Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Musketeers(Miwako Katsukawa & Romi Yamato) at Big Crush 2027] The Miyoshis continue to be the cornerstone of the tag division. They have been carrying it ever since the team got formed. Now beating two veterans in a ladder match that saw Yamato's former friend, Machiko Matsuda, screw her by preventing that she stopped the Miyoshis from grabbing the belts. Yamato and Matsuda did face each other at Joshimania 32 in a bout that Yamato emerged victorious.
  8. "What you gonna do, baby, when the mystic crush goes down on you?"
  9. On a single day: The New Day is broken up. The Bloodline ends. CM Punk divorces AJ Lee. AEW goes on a rampage(no pun intended) and breaks agreements with a number of partners. and, the biggest news, maximum male models are no more. Definitely a day in wrestling history.
  10. AWF Retribution #44 Date: Tuesday, Week 2, February 2021 Attendance: 1,077 People Show opening: Kyle Howard: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another edition of AWF Retribution live from Philadelphia, PA. I'm Kyle Howard joined by Kitty Reardon and we are still feeling the effects from New Year, No Limits last sunday where the main event saw Core injure Daryl Lance and it's expected that he will be missing some time on recovery. Kitty Reardon: It's always sad when this sort of thing happens to a wrestler. I'm sure Cheerleader Brittany is devastated after seeing her partner that banged up. Kyle Howard: One things is for certain, Core wanted to make an example out of Lance. And it showed by how he put extra spice on his striking during the title match. Kitty Reardon: Well, that's one of the reasons he is the Awesome Wrestling Federation Champion. Willing to go that extra mile to hurt his opponents. Kyle Howard: Yes. But there are plenty of others who won't be intimidated by that in face of the chance at gold. (Derrick Romeo's music hits and the man himself comes out) Kyle Howard: And there's one of those 'others'. Coming from a big win at the tag team match alongside Sharif Awar. Kitty Reardon: Romeo has been often on record about how close he is to Daryl Lance and how much he despises Core's style. If I had to bet on someone going after the champion right away, he would be my pick. (Romeo gets a microphone) Derrick Romeo: Well then, I'll just go straight to the point. Daryl Lance is my friend and after what Core did to him at New Year, No Limits, I'm challenging Core for a championship match at No Love Lost. And coming from a big win at the PPV, I feel I have a legitimate claim for a title match. (Before Romeo can continue, Jonah Huntley's music hits) Jonah Huntley: Romeo, Romeo, Romeo....it's just like you to use any opportunity to get ahead of everyone in the most annoying way possible. What is even worse is you trying to make this about Daryl Lance and not your thirst for gold and glory. If you had any dignity, which you don't, you would just come here and say "I'm Derrick F*cking Romeo and I want a title match". That way at least you would have been honest to not only the AWF fans but also to yourself, mmkay? Derrick Romeo: That's rich coming from you. The most dishonest man in the whole AWF locker room trying to teach me a lesson in honesty. Since you have no friends, you act cynical towards other people's friendships. Where is your boy Ebi Kadivar? Oh, I know, you were such an asshole to him that he wants nothing to do with you. As for myself and Daryl, we have each other's backs. We actually care about each other and fight on the other's behalf if needed. Jonah Huntley: Yawn. Always mr. holier-than-thou. If you actually cared about Lance, you would be at the hospital with him instead of being here making demands and acting like your shit doesn't stink. Derrick Romeo: I visited him today's afternoon. We even took pictures. (the titantron shows a picture of Romeo and Lance on the latter's hospital room) Derrick Romeo: Do you have anything other than envy, lies and slander? Jonah Huntley: I have a question. Why do you feel so deserving of a title shot when the match you won was a tag team match? What about your partner? Also, you bozos didn't beat me, so it's not like I am not deserving of at least a chance as well. Derrick Romeo: A chance for you? That's a joke. You were on the losing side. Jonah Huntley: My shoulders were not the ones pinned to the mat. If you can come down here asking for title matches because you won a tag match, I can come here ask for a contender's match because I didn't lose the tag match. Or do you think you are so much better than me and anyone else in that locker room? (a tense staredown follows) Kyle Howard: Quite the pickle here concerning the AWF Title situation. Kitty Reardon: I'm sure we will hear about this from the GM soon. (Ieshia's music plays) Kitty Reardon: And there she is. (the AWF chairwoman joins Romeo and Huntley inside the ring) Ieshia: Well, isn't this something? I was watching you guys from the back and all this talk about title matches forced me to come out here since I'm the one who makes the matches. Derrick Romeo: I know. I'm actually following the rules. My last PPV match was a win in one of the main events, so I feel I have a legitimate claim like I mentioned earlier. Jonah Huntley: You can feel anything, Romeo. Your feelings do not make anything true. Ieshia: Easy there, guys. I'm here to solve everything. Jonah Huntley: And what are your plans to 'solve everything'? Ieshia: That's very simple, Jonah. Since both Romeo and Awar won at New Year, No limits and you came here talking about how you aeren't defeated, I decided the best course of action is a three way match between you guys to decide the next number one contender. And that match is gonna be tonight. (the crowd cheers at the announcement) Derrick Romeo: I think Huntley is undeserving of this chance, but I'll take it as a chance to shut him up. Jonah Huntley: As if you are a lock to win, Mr. Ego. (Ebi Kadivar's music hits) Ebi Kadivar: So it's a party here, huh? And everyone is getting title match opportunities while the high Sheik, Ebi Kadivar, is left aside. Jonah Huntley: You lost the PPV match, mmkay? How can you come here demanding stuff after being embarassed for the whole world to see? Ebi Kadivar: Hush, you peasant! Just because I was the one who took the fall doesn't make this whole thing fair. Ieshia: It IS fair, actually. Ebi Kadivar: Can I make proposal, then. If you add me to the contender's match, I won't put you on the list. How is it, miss? (Ieshia laughs) Ieshia: You are a funny guy, Ebi, now if you excuse me... Ebi Kadivar: Wait! I need this opportunity for my career. I'll do anything! Jonah Huntley: You should just put yourself on the list and crawl back to catering. Ieshia: Hmm...That gives me an idea. You said you would do anything, right? Ebi Kadivar: Yes. Ieshia: So what about this; You will have a match later tonight and if you win that match, the three way will become a four way with you being added to the main event contender's match. Ebi Kadivar: Great! I accept this proposal. Ieshia: Right. But you didn't hear all of it... Ebi Kadivar: There's more? Ieshia: Yep. If you lose the one on one match, you will have to put yourself on your list. Ebi Kadivar: What??? That's preposterous!!! Ieshia: It's called stakes. You said you'd do anything for this opportunity. So, take it or leave it? Ebi Kadivar: Fine! I'll take it. I am going to win the match anyway. Ieshia: That's the right atitude. Your opponent for the one on one match is going to be Tyshawn Martial. I wish you good luck. (Ieshia's music plays to end the segment while Ebi is distraught at the reveal of his opponent.) (75) Match #1: AWF Television Title Match DZ Jenkins vs. Stacks Armstrong Match details: The match starts with Stacks going right into Jenkins for a flurry of strikes showing no fear of the TV champion. DZ is able to slow things down and put his rhythm to the match taking advantage of his better technique. Once things aren't going his way, Stacks Armstrong pokes DZ Jenkins' eye to get into the driver's seat once again and take control of the fight. This gets DZ angry and when Stacks goes for a spear, he is able to counter with a sleeper hold. Things look dire for the challenger as the hold is locked in, so he goes for a low blow which makes his opponent let go of his neck. Stacks then uses the little breathing room the low blow bought him and hits the american horror story for the win. Stacks Armstrong defeated DZ Jenkins in 9:43 minutes with an American Horror Story to win the AWF Television Championship (47) Angle: Devastating revenge. The devastators come out to address the attack they suffered at the PPV. Monstrosity: You know, after all these years I would have thought no fool was stupid enough to blindside the likes of us. And at New Year, No Limits, I was proven wrong. It seems there are stupid people willing to do any sort of dumb stuff to get a thrill. And attacking the devastators from behind has to be among the dumbest things one can do. So, I'll not waste anymore time talking, I want these two hooded cowards right here and right now. (The highrollers come out) Otis: Yo, you old men are wasting everyone's time here whining about being attacked instead of hunting down who did it. If it were the two of us here, there ain't no way the first thing we'd do is crying on TV. Malik: Hey, easy, mate. you don't wanna get them angry. When Monstrosity is cranky, he ruins the elderly's bingo they attend after the show. Juggernaut: You are so funny that I forgot to laugh. Otis: It's sad that you are already forgetting stuff, papa. Monstrosity: Well, looks like you guys are even dumber than those who attacked us at the PPV. Coming here and insulting us to our faces and expecting no retaliation. Malik: I'm a polite guy. I don't punch the elders. Monstrosity: Shame. Because the elders will still punch you. (Monstrosity punches Malik right on his face and the two teams start brawling before officials come to calm things down and a match is set up.) (45) Match #2: The Devastators(Monstrosity & Juggernaut) vs. The Highrollers(Malik & Otis) Match details: This match is just a more organized version of the brawl that originated it. Both teams deliver stiff looking moves with the Devastators taking their frustrations out on their opponents. In the end, Otis is hit by the devastation drop for the win. The Devastators defeated The Highrollers in 9:34 minutes with the Devastation drop (38) Angle: The champion talks. (Core walks out carrying his AWF world title) Kyle Howard: And here is Core looking serene after another title defence. (Core grabs a microphone) Core: Before New Year, No Limits, I thought I would be pleased with Daryl Lance's demise. I'm afraid that is not the case. He is a reminder of what rotten times are upon this dark world where people are encouraged to embrace fantasy and reject reality, often leading to pain. Lance was so caught up in his delusions that he wasn't prepared for when reality ensued. And this brought great pain for that poor soul. To cling to fantasy and believe that hope and will are everything is how impressionable minds are convinced that anything is possible and any challenge is doable. And the result is always pain as reality does not care about your fantasies. (before the chapion can continue, Sharif Awar's music plays) Sharif Awar: I see you fancy yourself quite the de-motivational speaker, Core. And this "fantasy embrace" you talked about can apply to you. I see you are also clinging to some delusion that you are as unbeatable as reality. If we want to talk about "rotten times" and "impressionable minds" I can point to your champioship reign as a rotten time and your arrogant attitude as an impressionable mind believing his own hype. How about I, Sharif Awar, be the reality to your delusion? Core: Hmpf. Young lions like you have much to learn before acting like some wise guy. The only reality here is you are way over your head, little man. Sharif Awar: I want to see you be this dismissive once I secure a shot at you later tonight. Core: By then you can indulge your fantasies before I bring you reality. Just ask Daryl Lance. (79) Match #3: Atlas Lynn vs. The Modfather Match details: A short showcase match for Atlas Lynn where he can get some of his moves in before hitting a finisher to end it in little more than 5 minutes. Atlas Lynn defeated The Modfather in 5:26 minutes with the Clash of Titans. (32) After the match, Ankur the Great appears from behind to attack Lynn. Obviously still angry about the Martial debacle and taking it out on Atlas. (43) Angle: Ebi Kadivar has bitten more than he can chew. Ebi Kadivar can be seen sitting at the lockerroom reading his list with a nervous look. Ebi Kadivar: This is no way to treat the high sheik Ebi Kadivar. No way in hell. Match #4: Ebi Kadivar vs. Tyshawn Martial Match details: The match starts with Ebi doing his best to avoid Tyshawn. Including leaving the ring, standing behind the referee and just fleeing from his opponent. Once Martial calls out to him and asks: "Do you want this or not?" Ebi finally remembers what is at stake and goes to fight his opponent overcoming his own fear. He then attacks with a variety of moves, but Martial has an answer for everything Kadivar throws at him which gets Ebi more and more frustrated. After 10 minutes of the bout, Ebi Kadivar decides to go high risk to hit the Sheik from above on a lying Tyshawn. However, when Ebi jumps, Tyshawn gets up and lands the Muay Thai knee in devastating fashion. 1,2....Ebi kicks out. Martial is surprised and gets up to pace around waiting for Kadivar to be up again. Since Ebi is still down, the referee starts counting. Ebi tries to get up, but fails as he has taken too much damage. The count reaches 10 and Martial is the winner. Tyshawn Martial has defeated Ebi Kadivar in 13:18 minutes after Ebi was unable to answer a 10 count. (57) Match #5: Derrick Romeo vs. Jonah Huntley vs. Sharif Awar Match details: Main Event time and it's to decide a new contender for Core's AWF World Championship. The animosity between Romeo and Huntley is palpable while Awar is more focused on finally proving himself. The match is fast paced with Romeo and Huntley beating each other up while Sharif tries to take advantage of his opponents' focus on each other. At the 15 minute mark, Huntley tosses Romeo from the ring and Awar tries to get Jonah from behind. Huntley anticipates his attack and hits the StarMaker on Awar. Cover, 1,2....Awar kicks out. This gets Huntley mad and he decides to set up for another finisher to Sharif. Before he can run to hit the second finish, Romeo is back inside the ring. This gets Huntley to turn his attention to his rival mid-run but the move is too easy for Romeo to read and dodge before landing a Tigerbuster on Huntley. Derrick covers his nemesis 1,2...Awar is coming to break it...but is a second too late. Romeo beats Huntley by pinfall. Derrick Romeo defeated Jonah Huntley and Sharif Awar in 15:33 minutes after he pinned Huntley with a Tigerbuster. (68) Full show rating: 70 Increased our popularity in 10 regions. Notes: Finally...AWF is back to the dynasty forum. Jokes aside, I've been so busy lately that it really interfered with the diary, sadly. I apologize to everyone who has been following and looking forward to more. As always, feedback is much appreciated.

  12. AWF Retribution #43 Date: Tuesday, Week 4, January 2021 Attendance: 2,599 People Show Opener: Like usual, the pyro goes off at the stage to announce the start of AWF Retribution live from Reno, NV. Kyle Howard: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to AWF Retribution from the beautiful NOW Arena at Reno, NV! This is the go-home show for New Year, No limits and we are sure to have an interesting night in front of us. I'm with Kitty Reardon, as usual and she will give us some insight into this upcoming show. Kitty Reardon: Well, good evening, Kyle and everyone at home. It's always a pleasure to be here. As for tonight, I'm expecting huge amounts of drama since this is a PPV week and we all know what that means. We are in for title matches and the thirst for gold and glory always brings out the best...and the worst from pro wrestlers. The United States title situation, especially, is most intriguing for me as N8 Omega's little plot backfired on him by giving Wilson Hancock the argument he needed to turn Omega's title match into a triple threat. And I'm sure all of this must be a pain for US Champion Aaron Price as he heads to New Year, No Limits having to worry about two opponents and the always unpleasant possibility of losing his title without even being involved in the decisive moment. Kyle Howard: That always haunts champions in multimen title defences. Especially when he knows both Omega and Hancock will be going for him the most. Kitty Reardon: Well, that's to be expected, Kyle. As the champion, he is the one with a target on his back. And we saw what kind of tricks N8 Omega enjoys using. Kyle Howard: Speaking about Price, Omega and Hancock, the first match for the night will see all of them in the ring for a six-man tag. Price will team up with two young up and comers in Eddy Lemaitre and Black Gold to face his two title challengers alongside Stacks Armstrong, who has been on a roll as of late. Kitty Reardon: This is going to be a hard-hitting contest, I'm sure. Match 1: Aaron Price, Black Gold & Eddy Lemaitre vs. Stacks Armstrong, Wilson Hancock & N8 Omega Match details: This six-man tag is marked by N8 Omega's constant tagging out to avoid Aaron Price. The two youngsters, Gold & Armstrong take this as a chance to show what they are made of by being the legal man the longest time for their respective teams. Unlike his cowardly teammates, Armstrong is hell bent in going after Aaron Price. In the end, however, the US Champion manage to defeat Stacks by using his superior experience to reverse a move into his finisher. Team Price defeated Team Omega in 10:46 minutes when Aaron Price pinned Stacks Armstrong with the Price you Pay. (44) Angle: Emma Moore conducts a split-screen interview with both women involved in the PPV title match Kyle Howard: Shouldn't have expected any less from N8 Omega than absolute cowardice during the tag match. We now go to Emma Moore and she has something interesting for us. Both the Starlets Champion Amy Ladner and challenger Alexis James will give some thoughts on their upcoming championship match. Emma Moore: Thanks, Kyle. This is surely the biggest match the starlets division can produce and I'm glad to be joined by James and Ladner here for a little chat. Amy Ladner: You should say "Ladner & James" instead of "James & Ladner". I'm the champion here and my name should be mentioned first instead of this wannabe's. Alexis James: What? Emma Moore: Uh...well, let's get into the interview, shall we? There's has been some controversy surrounding the MGC lately as more starlets are complaining about the group. What do you have to say about this as you are the leader of the MGC? Amy Ladner: It's much easier to whine and cry instead of actually being good enough to stand up to the MGC. I don't care about all this stupidity running rampant in the division. These little girls should just grow up. Alexis James: It's hysterical listening to you say that others should grow up. Especially when you and your stooges keep bullying and cheating all the time. Typical childish behaviour. Amy Ladner: Shut up! I was the one she's asked the question. Keep your whining to yourself. Emma Moore: So, James, since you have been one of the biggest critics of how Ladner's group operates, I'm sure you are eager for the title match as it's an opportunity to rid the division of what you usually call "a thorn". Right? Alexis James: You betcha'! It's not just me. The starlets division as a whole is tired. Heck, the fans are tired! Everyone is tired of Amy Ladner and her crew's underhanded tactics holding us back. Like you pointed out and I will say it again, the Mean Girls Club is a thorn in the starlets division's side. And as a veteran and former champion, I'll fight them to the end and take the starlets title from their clutches. Emma Moore: Some bold words. Do you have any comment on that, Ladner? Amy Ladner: Alexis can talk all she wants. She loves the sound of her voice when she gets into that whiner tone. She should just stick to being the queen of funk and stop getting delusional enough to entertain any possibility of taking my Starlets Championship away from me. This division beats to my rhythm and you should accept that you are just number 2. Alexis James: I want to see you be this cheeky when we are together in the same place. Especially inside the ring at New Year, No limits. Then, your title reign will beat its last drum. Emma Moore: A tense atmosphere here. Back to you guys! Kyle Howard: Thanks, Emma. Always a pleasure hearing from you. Now that we have seen some of the mind games, do you have any predictions for the Starlets Title match, Kitty? Kitty Reardon: It's tough to pick a winner between the two of them. But I'm certain the MGC can really be a factor for this title match if Alexis James is not careful. (51) Match 2: Derrick Romeo vs. The Fyre Match details: Two of AWF's finest go at it. A match involving this sort of wrestler can always have title implications for the near future. It's a long bout where they trade offence without anyone really getting an upper hand. Both even manage to hit finishers only to have the frustration of seeing the opponent survive. After around 15 minutes of back and forth action, the match is suddenly interrupted by a cheap shot from Jonah Huntley to Romeo's back when he was going for a top rope move. This causes a DQ loss for The Fyre. Derrick Romeo defeats The Fyre in 15:51 minutes by DQ following Huntley's interference. (62) After the match is over, Huntley does not hold back on giving Derrick Romeo a huge beating. The former AWf Champion is too tired to really fight back and it makes Jonah all too happy to have an easy revenge on his nemesis. The Fyre, who leaves the ring to avoid getting involved into the drama, just watches the beatdown with a confused look. Just as Huntley tosses Romeo to the side of the ring, out comes Ebi Kadivar holding his beloved list. Ebi Kadivar: It has to be one of the saddest sights seeing a so-called former champion get humiliated like this by someone who's on my list. This makes you deserving of joining it yourself. (Ebi writes Romeo's name on the list) And you, Fyre, just standing there. Where is your hunger? Are you satisfied with being just a sideshow? You probably know what happens to people who are too lazy and passive to take action here. You are now on the list! (Likewise, he puts Fyre's name there) The Fyre: What the hell?I didn't even do anything! Ebi Kadivar: Exactly! You are one of those guys who are comfortable being mid. The Fyre: I don't know what you are talking about. If you wanna go, just come here, little man! Ebi Kadivar: Little man? Now you are on the list twice, my friend. The Fyre: What? That doesn't make any sense! (Huntley grabs a mic to join the conversation) Jonah Huntley: Hey, easy there, big man. I know you are having fun, but you should save it for later, mmkay? Our beef is with Romeo and his buddy Awar who hog all the spotlight. No need to go and pick fights with the likes of Fyre. Ebi Kadivar: I'm not picking fights. I'm just doing my due diligence when it comes to the list. Jonah Huntley: Yeah, I'm sure. Now, just go to back and we can have a chat later. You should focus on your match against Sharif Awar, mmkay? EBi Kadivar: Fine! But don't go thinking you are in charge, peasant. (Ebi Kadivar leaves to the back) Jonah Huntley: Peasant? (61) Backstage Angle: Ankur dislikes the new directions. Atlas Lynn is hanging out in the lockerroom when the giant indian appears and squares up to him. Ankur: You should be embarrassed. Atlas Lynn: Why? Ankur: I saw you kissing up to that woman's new and shiny toy. You seem to be all too content to let Ieshia find your replacement and throw you down into the pits of irrelevancy. Atlas Lynn: Look, you are being way too paranoid. Also, this disdain you have for the new GM is just strange. Ankur: That woman does not know what she is doing. She has a real giant on the roster and still feels the need to find some MMA goon like Martial from the streets and give him valuable TV time. What about me? I'm not getting the respect the name "Ankur the Great" deserves. And it's embarrassing to see it. Who does she think she is and why she brought that goon to the company? We do not need this undeserving pretender here to make a mockery of us while taking our spot. And if I ever get the chance, I'll show this Martial guy how small he really is. Atlas Lynn: Uh... Ankur: What? Atlas Lynn: (points behind Ankur, who takes a look) Martial: So I'm a goon from the streets who is an undeserving pretender and you will show me how small I really am, right? How about at New Year, No Limits? Or are you only brave when it comes to ranting behind other's backs? Ankur: You! You do not scare me, punk boy. Look at your size and look at mine. Martial: It's not about size. It's about ability. And, to paraphrase you, I'm going to show you how 'small' you really are. See you at the PPV. Martial leaves while Ankur looks furious and Lynn seems to have fun with the last line. (55) Right before the next match, Erin Scott comes out with Alice Harrison to stand by her corner. Match 3: Alice Harrison(w/Erin Scott) vs. Jenn Powalski(w/Teri Szatkowski) Match details: A short match where Harrison, who has more ring cred, wrestle circles around Powalski. The MGC member struggles to keep up with her opponent and it compels Teri to try some underhanded tactics in a n effort to aid her stablemate. However, Erin Scott is right there to run to Powalski's corner and stop Teri Szatkowski from grabbing Harrison at the apron. Once the interference is prevented, Harrison is able to finish Powalski off and take the W. Alice Harrison defeated Jenn Powalski in 6:35 minutes by pinfall with a Shining Spirit (43) Post match: After the bout, Teri Szatkowski is unhappy with Erin stopping her and hits a running knee right to her face. This prompts Harrison to jump outside the ring to go after Teri. But the MGC member escapes before Alice can come to her and Powalski leaves the ring to follow her partner towards the stage. Instead of going after the heels, Alice decides to tend to Scott. (40) Backstage angle: At the catering room, Huntley is happily having some tacos while Ebi Kadivar gets ready for his upcoming match. Jonah Huntley: Heh. Ebi Kadivar: You seem happy. Jonah Huntley: I should be. I just sent that arrogant f*ck Romeo to the infirmary and you will beat Awar so we can go into New Year, No Limits riding high after a perfect day. Ebi Kadivar: I hope so. But I don't ever get overconfident before big matches. That's a peasant thing to do. Jonah Huntley: Speaking about 'peasant', you called me a peasant out there. I didn't really like it, so you know. Ebi Kadivar: Denial always comes before acceptance. Jonah Huntley: Very witty. Now, go out there and just win, baby. Ebi Kadivar: Okay, I'll go there. But,again, don't go thinking you are in charge! (Ebi leaves) Jonah Huntley: I'm always in charge. (bites his taco) (83) Match 4: Ebi Kadivar vs . Sharif Awar Match details: The match starts and Ebi goes on an flurry of strikes trying to get an early advantage. The high sheik uses his experience to stay on top of his opponent and avoid giving Awar any chance to recompose himself. Feeling the pressure of needing to win, Ebi grows more and more desperate as he is unable to put his opponent away as the match progresses. Once we reach the 10 minute mark, Sharif Awar begins to mount a comeback using his resilience to get the upper hand on a now tired Ebi Kadivar. However, the young up and comer overpursues when trying to hit a spearand Ebi is able to whip Sharif head first into the turnbuckle. As Awar goes down, Kadivar climbs the top rope and sets up to hit his finisher, the Sheik from above. Much to Ebi's surprise, Awar sits up and is able to land the Night Night right as Ebi jumped for his finisher. The move is devastating and Ebi is unable to kick out. Sharif Awar defeated Ebi Kadivar in 15:05 minutes by pinfall after landing the Night Night. (51) Back to the backstage area: Ebi Kadivar returns backstage still disappointed by the way victory escaped by his fingertips. Once he gets to catering, he bumps into Huntley, who was still there, now looking much unhappier. Jonah Huntley: Hey. Ebi Kadivar: I know what you are thinking and do not need to hear it, ok? Jonah Huntley: You had one job. How can I trust you for the PPV when we face both Awar and Romeo? Ebi Kadivar: I was 'this' close to winning. It's not like I got destroyed or anything. Jonah Huntley: 'This' close is not close enough. If you don't have what it takes, perhaps you should put yourself on the list. Ebi Kadivar(angrily): Say what? Jonah Huntley: At New year, No Limits, you better rectify your failure and help me beat those two hacks. Otherwise, you can kiss this alliance and your relevance goodbye. Ciao! (Huntley leaves) Ebi Kadivar(muttering): Punk ass peasant.... (70) The champion address his challenger to end the show: Kyle Howard: Some tension between these two heading into a big tag team match. You think they stand a chance against Derrick Romeo and Sharif Awar? Kitty Reardon: It's surely a tough match as Romeo is a former world champion and Sharif Awar has to be one of the fastest rising stars in recent years. If Huntley and Kadivar want to stand a chance, they must try to coexist and stop being passive aggressive toward each other. Kyle Howard: Going by their personalities, I think that's a tough one to ask for. (a loud pyro announces the arrival of Core) Kyle Howard: He's here! Core is here! And he does not seem to be in the most pleasant of moods. Kitty Reardon: In all my years in the AWF, I think I have never seen Core smile. Kyle Howard: He looks particurlarly sullen today. I guess the fact Daryl Lance is his next opponent is not much to the champion's liking. (Core enters the ring and grabs a microphone) Core: Sometimes people are way too blinded by something called "hope". And I have always held disdain for this word. This damn word makes those who cling to it inevitably perish when they hold onto a naive belief they can overcome anything as long as put everything on the line. And all of those who do not embrace darkness still live in this illusion that hope is a real thing and that it alone can pull oneself through the impossible. It's absurd. The impossible has this name for a reason. And no amount of hope can make the impossible occur. It doesn't matter how much you train, how many times you try and how many hours you invest. If something is impossible, your effort is in vain and your hope is useless. After that, all that's left is despair and the cold embrace of darkness. At New Year, No Limits, darkness will prevail over Daryl Lance's flimsy hope. And he will meet his final resting place. (80) _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Final show rating: (63) Increased the company's popularity in 9 regions Show notes: - Huntley already showing his prowess with various highly rated segments. - Ebi Kadivar has been a very good all-around performer. Truly a midcard hero. - Alice Harrison with a big carry job for Jenn Powalski. Only a 43, but still a good effort considering Powalski delivered a low 28 rating. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As always, feedback is greatly appreciated. The upcoming show is our first PPV. Stretch will take care of the preview and predictions cards. Cheers.
  13. AWF Retribution 41 Date: Tuesday, Week 2, January 2021 Attendance: 2,523 People Opening Angle: As the traditional fireworks announcing the start of a new AWF Retribution go by, the Vegas crowd is greeted by the new GM's music. Kyle Howard: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to AWF Retribution #41 here from Las Vegas, NV. As you can see on your screen, the new owner of the AWF, Ieshia, is here to address today's main event. What do you expect, Kitty? Kitty Reardon: I'm intrigued. Three of the company's top stars fighting for a AWF World Title shot at New Year, No Limits is sure to be an exciting contest. Let's hear from Ieshia... Ieshia: How you doing, Vegas? (crowd cheers) Ieshia: As you all know, I'm now in charge of running things around here. And I'm all about giving opportunities to those who earn it. We have New Year, No Limits coming at the end of the month and we need to appoint a new challenger for Core's AWF World Championship. And what better place for high stakes than the Sin City itselt? TONIGHT we will decide a Nº1 contender at the main event and it'll be one of three men who proved last year they deserve a chance at gold. The three contestants for this huge opportunity are... Daryl Lance, The Fyre and Jonah Huntley. Kyle Howard: Quite the trio. Two multiple times United States champions in Lance and Fyre and AWF's hottest signing in Huntley. I'm not sure who I'd put my money in as I see all three as evenly matched. Kitty Reardon: One thing is for certain, Kyle. You can expect three hungry competitors tonight as none of them has ever held the biggest prize of them all in the Awesome Wrestling Federation Championship. A chance like this can sometimes be the only one in a wrestler's whole career. And we are sure to get a hell of a match in tonight's main event. (Right as Ieshia is leaving the ring, Ankur the Great makes his entrance for a match and passes beside the AWF Owner. The giant glares at her as she exits the stage) (70) Match 1: Ankur The Great vs. Max Rubble Match details: To kick things off for Retribution, an one on one match that saw the big and menacing Ankur destroy Max Rubble in less than 4 minutes of pure carnage. Ankur the Great defeated Max Rubble in 3:40 by pinfall with a Punjabi Power (34) Backstage Angle: Ebi Kadivar is in the locker room holding his list. Ebi Kadivar: That dumbbozo Huntley. How could he lay his hands on my property and disrespect the sanctity of the list? I don't think he knows what is in store for those who are disrespectful to the High Sheik Ebi Kadivar! Huntley, you are on the list now! (Ebi puts Huntley's name on the list right as the man himself enters the locker room) Jonah Huntley: I heard my name and decided to check if it was something important. Clearly it wasn't, though. Ebi Kadivar: Very funny. It's actually nice that you came here to know that you are now on the list with your punk ass. Jonah Huntley: And what is this 'list' about? I though it was just a clipboard with a paper. Ebi Kadivar: Oh, it's much more than a clipboard with a paper. This is where I keep track of those who aren't worthy. Every single slacker, idiot and prick makes the list. There is even space for the losers. Jonah Huntley: So you are calling me a slacker, an idiot and a prick? Ebi Kadivar: I didn't say you are all three of those, but if you insist, I can make it official. Jonah Huntley: Just shut it. Instead of being obsessed with your little hobby, you should have focused on beating that smug holier-than-thou Romeo. But you didn't. Ebi Kadivar: I wasn't ready, okay? If you hate that guy so much, you go beat him yourself. Jonah Huntley: I will once I win tonight, win the belt at the PPV and he comes for me. Unlike you, my hobby is winning, not writing. Ciao. (Huntley leaves while Ebi is not amused by his last jab) (66) In ring Angle: N8 Omega comes out to sit by the commentary desk and watch the next match (48) Kyle Howard: We are joined by US title nº1 contender N8 Omega on commentary for Aaron Price vs Wilson Hancock. N8 Omega: Thank you, Kyle and Kitty. Very p-p-p-ppleased to be out here. Kitty Reardon: Did not think you would do the stuttering here. N8 Omega: I'm all about consistency. Now, let's talk about paper champion and his next loss. Kyle Howard: I don't think Price is going to lose the next match. He is coming from a dream year of 2020 and has huge momentum on his side. N8 Omega: Since we are in Las Vegas, I'm making this prediction and all you people watching at home can go to macbet.com and put money into this schmuck's loss. I'm very good at making predictions. It even runs in the family. Kitty Reardon: What do you mean? N8 Omega: My cousin, Faye Omega, is a clairvoyant. As I mentioned, making good predictions runs in the family. She even told me the AWF will see a huge change in its power structure and a title change will come very soon. Kyle Howard: Assuming your cousin is right, which I doubt it, what does she mean by a huge change in the power structure? N8 Omega: Who knows? I only care about the title change part because that's where I come into play. I'm facing this guy who will be coming from a loss at retribution and with no confidence. Kitty Reardon: He's been on offence for most of the match. How can you be so sure he is going to lose? N8 Omega: Like I said, I'm very good at making predictions, Kitty. Match 2: Aaron Price vs. Wilson Hancock Match details: A non-title contest involving US champion Aaron Price, who takes on a former US champion in Wilson Hancock. As the match reaches the 10 minute mark, N8 Omega holds Price's ankle near the bottom rope when the champ was running the ropes for a lariat and this gives Hancock the opening to hit his finisher and pin Price. Wilson Hancock defeated Aaron Price in 10:21 minutes with a One for the Ladies after interference from N8 Omega. (56) In ring angle: After the match, Price is furious and chases Omega up the entrance ramp to get back for his interference. (58) Angle: Emma Moore is backstage with TV Champion DZ Jenkins: Emma Moore: I'm here with the AWF TV champion, DZ Jenkins and we are going to talk about his upcoming title defence against Jesse Mills. So, DZ, what do you think we can expect from such a match seeing that Mills is known for his aggressiveness? DZ Jenkins: Well, let me tell you something, lady, I laugh in the face of aggression. If Jesse Mills wants to get dangerous then we are gonna get dangerous. And that old cat can't keep with the DZ, you feel me? Emma Moore: Then I guess your strategy is to return as much punishment as he dishes and rely in your younger and fitter body to withstand the wear and tear from the match. DZ Jenkins: That's right. He loves punishment so I'm gonna give it to him. And that has been doesn't have what it takes to go at this level anymore. Emma Moore: You certainly are confident, DZ. Let's see how it plays out. Back to you, Kyle and Kitty. Kyle Howard: Jenkins looking fearless there. Maybe a bit too fearless. Kitty Reardon: We all know how Jesse Mills thrives when his opponents fear him. I'm sure DZ Jenkins has that in mind so he won't give Mills the reaction that he craves. (46) Match 3: -AWF Television Title Match- DZ Jenkins vs. Jesse Mills Match details: The match starts hot with Mills goint at Jenkins with a flurry of punches, kickes and headbutts. As the match progresses, Jenkins utilizes his speed to avoid Mills' strikes while returning the favor with quick counter attacks and power moves. Like he said during the interview, in the end his toughness and resistance to punishment gain him the advantage over a tired Jesse Mills and Jenkins has the time and space to hit his finisher and claim another title defence. DZ Jenkins defeated Jesse Mills in 10:38 minutes with a Freakin' Brilliance and makes defence number 4 of the AWF Television Title. (50) Match 4: Kali Azar(w/Amy Ladner) vs. AJ Paris Match details: Mean Girls Club member Kali Azar has a chance to bully poor AJ, who is still trying to find her footing in the Starlets division. The match is very short with Azar not giving a single inch to her opponent while gloating to the fans. In the end, she beats Paris with a French Kiss following a distraction by the leader of the MGC, Amy Ladner who is at ringside. Kali Azar defeated AJ Paris in 4:35 with the French Kiss after Ladner distracted Paris. (31) Once the match is over, Ladner enters the ring to join Kali for an attack on the tired Paris. However, before they can even start.... ...former FoW wrestler Alice Harrison runs in and stands between the heels and AJ Paris. Seeing it's no longer easy pickings, both Azar and Ladner give up on beating Paris and leave. (36) Video package: A video showing former GAMMA Heavyweight Champion Tyshawn Martial training and knocking opponents out is played on the titantron. (48) Match 5: Tyshawn Martial vs. Atlas Lynn Match details: The menacing MMA champion takes on former AWF TV champion, Atlas Lynn, who's been trying to reignite some of the magic from late 2019 and early 2020 when he got to hold the TV Title twice. For most of the bout, Martial is putting pressure while Lynn holds on with all the grit he came to be known for during his tenure on the AWF. Even though he shows all the heart in face of his most dangerous challenge yet, Lynn is unable to resist Martial's devastating muay thai knee and goes down in defeat. Tyshawn Martial defeated Atlas Lynn by pinfall in 11:29 minutes with a Muay Thai Knee (53) After the match is over, Martial goes to help his opponent up and offers a handshake, clearly recognizing the tough fight. Lynn is surprised, but decides to shake hands with him and they both seem to respect each other's ability. (42) Main Event: Kyle Howard: Main event time, ladies and gentlemen. And it's a three way to decide the new number one contender for the Awesome Wrestling Federation Championship. Kitty Reardon: As I said at the beginning of the show, it's sure to be an exciting and evenly matched contest. All of these three men are touted as future world champions here in the AWF and I think down the line, we may see every one of them hold the biggest prize in wrestling. Tonight, though, only one can actually claim the opportunity. Kyle Howard: You are always insightful, Kitty. So, if I may ask, who is your pick for this nº 1 contender's match? Kitty Reardon: Surely putting me on the spot, eh, Kyle? If I had to put money in it, my pick would be between Daryl Lance and The Fyre. Mostly because of their experience fighting for and holding gold here in the federation. But that does not mean I'm discarding Huntley's chances, though. Kyle Howard: Okay. You think Fyre and Lance won't feel the pressure of the situation as much as Jonah Huntley? Kitty Reardon: Who knows? It's mostly a wild guess even though I'm trying to support this guess with their championship history and current momentum somewhat. Kyle Howard: Nice. It's great that it's so unpredictable. Makes it all the more intriguing. Kitty Reardon: Absolutely. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Jonah Huntley vs. The Fyre vs. Daryl Lance Match details: The three competitors enter the ring and the bell rings for the three way match. Both Huntley and Fyre go after Lance at every opportunity to keep the all-american down and out of the match. It seems their strategy is taking care of him first so they can decide the winner between themselves later. Huntley, ever the a-hole, taunts cheerleader Brittany everytime he gets the upper hand on Daryl. As the match progresses, Fyre begins to attack Huntley more and more as he seems to realize what's at stake. Once Huntley hits the StarMaker on Daryl Lance, The Fyre quickly runs to the apron to land a springboard crossbody preventing Jonah from pinning Lance off his finisher. This is the last straw for Huntley who angrily starts to land multiple strikes on Fyre putting enough pressure to get the former 3-time US champion to the corner, in prime position for a big power attack. Huntley decides to put Fyre up on the top rope for a superplex. As Jonah climbs for his attack, Lance appears from behind to insert himself in the mix and powerbombs Huntley at the same time Fyre is hit with the superplex. As his two opponents are down, Daryl decides to go for Huntley and stands him up for more punishment. Before Lance is able to get Huntley to the spot he wants, Huntley fights back with a forearm to the face and a german suplex as Daryl turned his back in pain. Huntley then signals for the StarMaker and has his eyes locked into Lance who is pulling himself up using the ropes. To Huntley's frustration, The Fyre gets up and hits a dropkick on his back throwing him into Lance's direction. Lance anticipates Huntley being thrown at him and delivers a belly to belly suplex on Jonah. Fyre takes advantage of this distraction to attack Daryl with Unleash The Fyre. However, Lance heard cheerleader Brittany scream for him to be careful and he is able to dodge The Fyre's finishing maneuver at the last second. This stuns Fyre and gives Daryl Lance the opening he needed to land his own finisher, the VDB 2.0 for the win. Daryl Lance has defeated The Fyre and Jonah Huntley in 15:47 minutes by pinning Fyre after the VDB 2.0 (60) Angle: The champ is here. As Daryl Lance celebrates his big win with cheerleader Brittany, the lights inside the arena begin to flicker. Out of nowhere, the AWF Champion appears in the ring right across of Daryl and his manager. Core doesn't speak any words but just gives his next challenger a cold stare while the crowd goes wild to close the show. (66) Final show rating: 62 Increased pop in 10 regions _______________________________________________________________________________ My notes: - The start of a diary is always the toughest part as one needs to learn about the roster and its strenghts and weaknesses. All in all, at least I could keep things above the required rating. - Getting to expand the promos/matches beyond what TEW allows ingame is very fun. Now I truly understand what writing a diary is all about. - Alice Harrison is underrated. Tverse players don't talk much about her but she is a solid hand for an AWF starlets division that can use a reliable all-arounder like her. - Tyshawn Martial is a great talent. Also, WMMA players will see a little reference up there. - Since this is my very first write up, feedback is much appreciated. Cheers, everyone.
