  1. What do you think about "Hanran-gun" which roughly translates to "rebel/insurrection army"?

  3. Ieshia is called into AWF's owner Johnny Valleau's office.Ieshia: It's pretty strange for you to call me here when we should be at L.A for Retribution. Surely everyone there is asking what the heck is going on.Johnny: Easy, Ieshia. I already booked a flight for the two of us by nighttime. We are not going to miss Retribution as it's gonna be a very special night.Ieshia: Special night? It's not even a go home show.Johnny: Just listen to me, ok? I got a huge surprise for you. Consider this as a token of my appreciation of you as an employee and lieutenant for the AWF. Ieshia: This is fishy.Johnny: Don't you trust your boss?Ieshia: No.Johnny: Harsh. Anyway, I'm making you the new owner of the AWF.Ieshia: WHAT? Are you out of your mind?Johnny: Yes, but that does not matter right now. I have been busy with other...endeavors lately. And I'm well aware of how respected and skilled you are at keeping things running at the company. So I'm stepping aside to reward you for your services and it will relieve my workload a little. Win-win.Ieshia: I don't know. You love the AWF. Only something out of your control could make you relinquish ownership of the company with so little time from when you purchased it. Just tell the truth, Johnny!Johnny: You know me. I grew up in a religious upbringing. I never tell lies. And to show that...(Valleau opens a drawer under his desk and picks up some papers)Johnny: Here is all the documentation of the company. Everything is already prepared and I checked all of it with my lawyers. All that is needed is your signature.Ieshia: ...Johnny: I'll even let you use my Timothy Hawk pen to sign.Ieshia: You really keep a Timothy Hawk pen?Johnny: Gotta value our product, you know. Here. take the pen.Ieshia: (I cannot believe. I'm really gonna own the AWF. I've always dreamed of having my own wrestling promotion)(Ieshia signs the documents)Johnny: Perfect. How do you feel now, Ms. Owner of the AWF?Ieshia: I'm...unsure of how to feel. I guess...good?Johnny: I'll take that. Now, you can wait for me outside as I need to make some phone calls and soon, we will be off to LA.Ieshia: Sure thing. (Ieshia leaves)Johnny: (Heh. Now the AWF is safe. Those cassino guys can sue all they want, they won't take my baby.)
  4. This diary is back? Awesome. I'm gonna follow it once again.
  5. Hi, @Arlie Rahn, I'd like to be added as well, please.
  6. AJJ - June 2021 AJJ Japanese Champion - Nariko Shiomi (defeated Toshie Tabuchi at MAGIC BOX) [26 days] AJJ Heritage Champion - Kichi Toyotomi (defeated Jolanda Girard at AJJ New Year Battle Tour Night #6) [135 days] AJJ Asian Tag Team - Victoria Scimeca & Joruri Yoshioka (defeated Hisae Takagi & Chloe Bourel at Spring Surprise) [40 days] Gotta say, 5SSW's roster makes any booker spoiled. Here, we have a more 'modest' roster with aging main eventers and a thin midcard. Our couple of young stars (Nariko Shiomi, Toshie Tabuchi and Yuri Yamanoue) are more about the mic work and entertainment than workrate. They are fine in-ring but if you play AJJ in the Tverse you have to consider changing the product to really unlock your main girls' potential.
  7. Seems interesting enough. Jim Cornette and the people who represent everything he despises about wrestling working under the same roof. It will probably be an entertaining read.
  8. Taking a page out of Undertaker's book. No lost smiles here.
  9. Quite a while since I posted. Anyway... 5SSW April 2025 5SSW World Champion - Machiko Matsuda [defeated MAYA at Final Attack] 5SSW All Asian Champion - Fuyuko Higa [defeated former comrade Gemmei Oonishi at Big Crush] 5SSW Triangle Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly and Simony Sentinel at Joshimania 29] 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The New ANTI (Megumi Nakajima & Hoshiko Tagawa) [defeated the Miyoshi Sisters at Reign Supreme]
  10. My 5SSW save has me really enjoying Megumi Nakajima. She is my top heel who is devoid of any redeeming qualities and always being deliciously evil to not only faces but anyone on the roster and even the jobbers. The only people safe from her(most of the time) are her goons in "The new ANTI". She is basically female Minoru Suzuki. Especially now that she is getting older. I also really enjoy Machiko Matsuda and MAYA as eternal 'frenemies'.
  11. Main Event. World of STARDOM Title – 5th Defence: Giulia vs Mayu Iwatani (c) 8.Wonder of STARDOM Title – 3rd Defence: AZM vs Io Shirai 7. Goddesses of STARDOM Title – 1st Defence: Oedo Tai (Starlight Kid & Saki Kashima) vs Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano & Maya Yukihi) (c) 6. High Speed Title & SWA Title: Hazuki vs Natsupoi 5. Maika vs Suzu Suzuki 4. KAIRI & Brittany Bryant vs Syuri & Skye Blue 3. Saya Kamitani vs Momo Watanabe 2. STARS (Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo) vs Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora & Ruaka) 1. Cosmic Angels – Delicious (Mina Shirakawa & Unagi Sayaka) vs Hira Sisters (Akane Hira & Chiyo Hira) Pre. 10 Woman Battle Royal, Winner = Himeka or Koguma
  12. AZM vs SLK is Stardom's premier rivalry imo. Good to see even TEW recognizes this.
  13. Main Event. None Title Match – Threedom 3 way: KAIRI vs. Io Shirai vs. Mayu Iwatani 6. Wonder of STARDOM Number 1 Contendership - Ladder Match: AZM vs. Starlight Kid 5. Goddesses of STARDOM Title Match – 4th Defence: ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki) vs. Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano & Maya Yukihi) 4. SWA Title Match – 3rd Defence: Skye Blue vs. Natsupoi 3. STARS (Hazuki, Koguma, Saya Iida & Hanan) vs. Vermillion World (Syuri, Maika, Himeka & Yui Inihara) 2. Oedo Tai (Momo Watanabe & Ruaka) vs. ALFA (Thekla & MIRAI) 1. Queen's Quest (Saya Kamitani & Miyu Amasaki) vs. Oedo Tai - Devil Duo [Saki Kashima & Natsuko Tora] Pre. Brittany Bryant & Momo Kohgo vs. Cosmic Angels – Delicious (Mina Shirakawa & Unagi Sayaka
  14. 5SSW October 2024 5SSW World Champion - MAYA [defeated The Breaker at Joshimania 29] 5SSW All Asian Champion - Gemmei Oonishi [defeated Spider Isako at Japan Slam] Isako kayfabe put Toku Kijmuta on the shelf with a broken arm and the storyline is that she's paranoid of Toku coming back to get her. Oonishi used this to win the title by having her tag partner dress as Kijmuta and appear on the crowd, startling Isako and giving her the opportunity to hit a finisher. Taking a page off WCW sillyness with the fake Stings. 5SSW Triangle Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly and Simony Sentinel at Joshimania 29] This is someone who has been delivering huge performance ratings. Her title matches have been all over 70s. Even when there is one subpar worker in the match. It's great for a belt like the Triangle Title. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi sisters (Emiko Miyoshi and Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Angel Alliance at Wrestle Challenge 16] Emiko once again suffering injuries. At least the most recent ones have been minor. It's great that her tag partner has the tools to carry her and I have been choosing their opponents with that in mind. Once she is healed, I can pick some of my younger teams to get a title match and get the rub of working with the top girls. J Grand Prix 2024 winner - Machiko Matsuda [defeated The Breaker at the finals] The storyline writes itself. The former Kanto Express colliding for the world title after one won the main event of Joshimania e the other got the J Grand Prix. It's gonna be great. They are slated to wrestle at Final Attack. As for the former LMP and runner up, she got a huge push on the tournament being the overrall leader of points before facing the winner of the other block. A way to keep her relevant and with momentum.
  15. Natsupoi getting near Syuri's performance ratings is impressive.
  16. 5SSW June 2024 5SSW World Champion - MAYA [defeated The Breaker at Joshimania 29] She has been Maruya's successor in this game. At 32, she has plenty in the tank to help out before the next big thing arrives. 5SSW All Asian Champion - Spider Isako [defeated Toku Kijmuta at Big Crush 2024] Not much to say about Isako's reign yet. She defended against Toku Kijmuta at Joshimania as they are currently feuding and have been since the tour before Big Crush. Some youngsters helped Isako retain by attacking Kijmuta during their Joshimania match and this storyline has been progressing smoothly as of now with acceptable heat. 5SSW Triangle Champion - "The charismatic vacuum" Rika Tsujimura [defeated Lucy Stone-McFly and Simony Sentinel at Joshimania 29] Another one of my pet projects. Tsujimura has been a tag team champion before and I'm experimenting putting singles gold and grooming her for a main event run. Too bad her personality type will make her a difficult main eventer if she succeds there. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Miyoshi sisters (Emiko Miyoshi and Shiromi Miyoshi) [defeated The Angel Alliance at Wrestle Challenge 16] The best babyface tag team in 5SSW and tailor made for high spots matches being a luchador(Emiko) and a technician flyer(Shiromi). They hold the 5 highest rated tag team matches in my company since the beggining of the game. Sadly, Emiko has been somewhat injury prone so they usually have shorter reigns with the belts.
  17. Main Event. World of STARDOM – 3rd Defence: Tam Nakano vs Mayu Iwatani (c) 6. Wonder of STARDOM – 9th Defence: Starlight Kid vs Momo Watanabe (c) 5. Goddesses of STARDOM – 3rd Defence: Queen’s Quest (KAIRI & AZM) vs ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki) (c) 4. SWA Title – 1st Defence: Syuri vs Natsupoi (c) 3. Cosmic Angels (Maya Yuhiki, Mei Hoshizuki & Unagi Sayaka) v Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora, Saki Kashima & Ruaka) 2. MIRAI, Thekla, Mai Sakurai & Brittany Bryant vs STARS (Hazuki, Koguma, Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo) 1. Future of STARDOM – 2nd Defence: Miyu Amasaki vs Waka Tsukiyama (c) Pre. Vermillion World (Maika & Himeka) v Hanan & Skye Blue
  18. "Bah gawd, Tamiko is back! Mayu is broken in half!" Now, being serious, Maika, Hanan, Thekla and Natsuko have been delivering better performances than back in the beggining of this diary. I remember when Natsuko came back from injury and was in the 30s on performance. Saki Kashima has been awesome irl. Showing more personality lately. Being Oedo Tai's godmother, she reminds me of Hazuki back then.
  19. Catherine Quine there. Fun. Interesting to see the likes of Magnificent Mimi and Reggie Bennett here as well. A tag team of Stone Cold and Dr. Death sounds way too entertaining. Especially with both being Steves. Bret Hart really is the best there is, was and ever will be. Even doing bad physichally, he still shows up when needed.
  20. AZM is a good choice. It has been a good diary and I wish you luck into its closing stage.
  21. Tons of interesting stuff gone and coming here. MIRAI's pop surprised me a little. And the duo of Maya Yukihi and Tam Nakano promise to be a force.
  22. 5SSW - March 2024 5SSW World Champion - The Breaker (Sarah Taylor) [defeated Romi Yamato at Dynamo Tag 2023] Just had a title defense against Heart Saitoh. Perfect old school storyline of monster heel vs underdog face. Only one more PPV(Queendom Parade) before Joshimania. I have 3 faces ready to battle the former LMP at the big show. The time to make a choice is coming. 5SSW All Asian Champion - Spider Isako [defeated Toku Kijmuta at Big Crush 2024] Toku's long reign is finally over. She can move on to bigger and better things. The idea is to give Isako a nice little run and see how she does now that I'm pulling the trigger on her. 5SSW Triangle Champion - Lucy Stone-McFly [defeated Machiko Matsuda and Etsuko Arihyoshi at 5SSW Reign Supreme 2024] This run has just begun. Even though I'm still not into the triangle title, I have to admit it helps developing/lower level workers since it's a multi-man match gimmick title. Her most recent defense was against Chiyeko Kita and Thea Davis. Mostly to kickstart a feud between Lucy and Davis. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Angel Alliance (Paige Croft & Yuma Maruya) [defeated Torment & Sorrow at Final Attack 2023] Yuma Maruya just announced her retirement in three months. She's 39, so it's to be expected. This tag title run will then be her last 'hurrah' now.
  23. 5SSW - January 2024 5SSW World Champion - The Breaker (Sarah Taylor) [defeated Romi Yamato at Dynamo Tag 2023] I hired her back in late 2021 right after she became active in Japan. Being a lightweight, she is on the 'bigger' side of the roster. So I decided to give her a gimmick similar to Hall of Pain Mark Henry where she always looks to break her opponents' limbs. Hence her nickname. 5SSW All Asian Champion - Toku Kijmuta [defeated Fuyuko Higa at Joshimania 2023] This is an odd one. Toku had very hot momentum and she even invented a new move. Then, I decided to turn her face since she was way too popular. Soon enough, she got into a quick feud with her former partner and, once that was over with, I gave her a title match against Higa as one of my marquee matches for my biggest show. They delivered a 91 rating which is the highest of the save so far and it's not even close. Since then, Kijmuta has been holding this title for near an year. 5SSW Triangle Champion - Lucy Stone-McFly [defeated Machiko Matsuda and Etsuko Arihyoshi at 5SSW Reign Supreme 2024] The Triangle Title is kinda tough for me to book since i'm not too much into three way matches. However, it's great for a developing worker like Lucy Stone-McFly. Once her young lion phase was over with, I gave her a little push to gain momentum by beating some freelancers and midcarders like a retiring Otsune Tsumura. Once she got into "hot" momentum, I decided to put her in the triangle title picture facing champion Machiko Matsuda. To help the two of then, I picked Etsuko Arihyoshi since she is very reliable, fed her some wins during the touring and added her to the three way match. 5SSW Tag Team Champions - The Angel Alliance (Paige Croft & Yuma Maruya) [defeated Torment & Sorrow at Final Attack 2023] For some reason, they had excellent chemistry. So, once Maruya lost the world title back at my first Joshimania(2020) I created this team and they have been a cornerstone of the tag division since. It's perfect since Maruya is getting really old and Paige is extremely reliable.
