When I play and click the office button the left toolbar nothing appears on the right side of the screen. Its all still there but not visible. Other DBs dont seem to have any issues. Any way to fix this?

Thanks. I'm not sure what to tell you on that one. I can't recreate it. I seem to remember someone else mentioned a similar issue in another thread, but I cannot find it now. Might want to post on the tech support forum and see what they say over there.

 

 

Also, updated to 0.8.01. Set several tag teams to permanent and updated WWF contracted roles.

While you're not wrong it is meant for creating new stars. Hogan pretty much already wins the Rumble almost every year when I sim. The youngster setting is to allow the KotR to go to people it is more likely to go to. Shawn Michaels, for instance, wins it often. There's no other way to really simulate that.

That's a layover from the original mod. They are there to set up Wrestlemania more than Rumble. Savage & Warrior had barely started at this point.

Loving the mod. I’m already halfway through April after not making past a month in any other mod.

 

Does anyone more familiar with 90’s Japanese wrestling have some ideas of attributes to assign? Most of them imported as douchebags and I don’t really know what their personalities were like. Also, who was an amazing face, heel, tag specialist, dynamo, etc.

I've been plugging away at it, but it pretty much takes researching each and every worker. To top it all off pretty much the only resource a lot of the time is Wikipedia or websites that more or less copy/paste Wikipedia. Those tend to not have much personal history, to begin with. </p><p> </p><p> I am more than happy to take suggestions.</p>

FYI one thing I am changing often for workers, generally veterans is a lot of them are "gloomy" which really creates a bad backstage environment. You may want to look at that for further updates but I have no issue editing the game as I go.

I wish I had more filters. It would make my life so much easier to search by personality type.</p>

The only thing I would suggest is to open TEW16 with this mod (meaning the 2016 version of the mod) and look at the sliders. Anyone that had pessimism (I think Grizzled Veteran pre-set it that way which is part of the problem) as their highest negative slider imported as Gloomy no matter what their other sliders were. That would help some. Won't fill in all the gaps but every little bit helps.

For the Royal Rumble I would change the AI instructions to have a battle royal as the main event... WWF didn't book a rumble match in '92 of my watcher game.

Dusty Rhodes was in WWF until Royal Rumble 1991. He went back to WCW in mid February 91. However he already had a written contract with WCW to be a Creative Agent, even befor Royal Rumble. Thats explain why is in both companies at same time , the same with Dustin .

It's really there for 'realism' sake. If you look NJPW has a similar show. I knew the AI was never going to be able to full pull it off, so I ended up making it 2 shows. 1 that WCW puts on and another that NJPW does. So, really you could just drop it or just run a WCW show in Japan. I'll take a look at Japanese popularities in WCW and see if there are any I can boost to allow more trades with New Japan.

 

Personally, I think you could up Flair and Sting's popularity in Japan, as they main evented those super shows at the time. Also, I noticed that NJPW is not willing to send workers to WCW on excursion, which I believe should be in place, even if it didn't really start until later in the 90s. In the mod it's set to UWA, which is fine, but if you're not going to have an existing relationship with WCW at the start where they can also receive people on excursion they won't make deals to send workers anywhere else.

 

Mod is looking good though, glad you're converting it over to 2020.

An update has been in the works, but I'm back at work and have 50 fewer hours a week to mess with it. Updates will start coming a bit slower than they were.
