I am running a large company and capped out at 75, which doesn’t make any sense at all

I've gotten Aaron Knight to 87 in my home region. But I didn't check progress to see where he was before. Everyone else is still between 70 and 75 at the top of my card. I'm also on a large ppv broadcaster now.

I'm also on a large ppv broadcaster now.</div></blockquote> According to the handbook the following factors affect the pop cap: - Size, Popularity and Broadcast Coverage of the promotion - Skills (in ring and entertainment) and Destiny - you only need one of these to be high in order to have a high cap. It could be that our UC's pop is capped by skills. The handbook also says that the cap is calculated on the fly so you shouldn't be able to 'break the cap' by putting pop up temporarily.

My first 75+ show. Finding excellent tag chemistry between both PAC and Morgan Webster as well as Evil Inc. (Sami Callahan and Marty Scurll) may revise my plans for NXT UK's future for some time to come.

Adam has said he'll look into it but that might not lead to anything. If its any consolation my company has Very Big coverage with a Large company in the US and my UC is still capped at 70. That's taken her off the list of stars as my company has 90 pop in the US. It also means that it's difficult to justify booking her to get in main events. My newest outlier is Electric Dreamer, who seems to have a cap of 85. Unfortunately I think relatively low brawling, technical and pysch hold her performance level down so my best bet is still Fuyuko's godlike powers of everything. It's ridiculous that she's capped at 82 when she has 96 star power, 81 charisma and fantastic in-ring skills. I think the game has been trying to limit the number of god-like popularity workers this iteration. Either that or it needs serious adjustment.

I've gone from Medium to Large and medium coverage to Very Big coverage without seeing any sort of shift in the pop caps I'd already established at medium (my UC at 70, Jippensha at 74, Quinzel at 77). If this is supposed to be near their absolute maximum then the cap at medium should have been considerably lower.

Destiny must be massively important in this game. I'm up to December 2021 in my game and three new mega stars have been created; Joss Thompson, Steven Parker and Randy Bumfhole - none of these workers have incredible stats.

Well this is probably going to be a disaster but this is my attempt at taking a Gatoh Move esque promotion from Zero to Hero. We're using Avantgarde Puroresu which immediately means we're in trouble with sponsors but I hope the low risk and intensity means we can pile on the shows.

Any idea on how to run this challenge given the new pop caps :S

After some quick testing, you don't get dinged by having 2 workers, 1 match between them and then 2 angles involving them so maybe save some money do that once a month.

Got a 5 on my roll and then a 14 so Kaii Hanarii is now a friend. I wish it was Orange but Kaii ain't bad.

Just looked at the creative section and saw that I'm marked as a Next Big Thing. So my lack of popularity growth is slightly puzzling, especially with the PPV being a large. I'll see if things change with TV. Currently running a B Show and that does nothing. Can't cancel it without paying over 4 mil, so I'm in do nothing mode now.

Literally two events after my last update.

I rolled a 21 and pumped Flashiness up from two to seven since I run a Guerilla Warfare company.

Then about a month after that, I made it to tiny and rolled an 8 and got 56 grand! That was insane and it's allowed me to get TV in June.

I'm losing about two grand a month but I have enough of a bank to hopefully hold me over for a while.

Lady Lotus also got hurt and is out for like nine months which sucks because she's cheap and was doing really well in 5SSW.

I'll probably make small by the end of the summer. This run has been fantastic so far. Japan is a great place to do an RTG at least in the early stages.

That way we'll know if that's what's holding you back.

it took me three in-game months from my first 72 until I could break a 75 and when I finally did that, I rolled a 44 and now I'm a comedy wrestler.

I didn't even get a 75 for the event because the opening match was a 55 and I got a 68 for the show.

It had to go wrong at some point.

Also, 5SSW is going out of business in my save. They're thirty grand in debt, I keep trying to buy them since I have 60 grand in the bank but they won't sell up.

Jippenisha is a free agent but she wants 1,400 and all the women I've signed from 5SSW so far haven't done great in my company for some reason.

Slowly crawling out of the first year pit, we should be at least a tiny company by this time next year as we've finally started to turn a profit under this brutal sponsorship drought. Got absolutely robbed twice from getting my first achievement but hey ho it's the end of the year now so it's time to roll!

“LEGEN… wait for it… DARY!” Gain a Best Friend relationship with someone on your roster whose picture is of them wearing a suit. If no-one on your roster is wearing a suit, you must hire someone who wears a suit and become their Best Friend anyway then add the Drinker attribute.

Well, there is only one man on the roster with a suit, so I guess me and the boss are now drinking buddies.

October is when I made it to Small from Tiny and tried to increase my product which was a mistake. The event rating because of the product penalty sucks but it's easier to deal with than going out of business due to debt.

My roll when I got to Small was a 2 so I attempted to declare war on 5SSW who are still fairly deep in debt but Dark EAgle (My Companies owner) was against it so it made that roll mute.

My end of the year roll was also disappointing I rolled a 4 there and decided to make Jormugand my friend because there wasn't anyone else worth adding. Everyone that had in any popularity in japan was either old or retired.

Jormugand doesn't have a ton going for him either but he has high flashiness and aerial so maybe he'll become a valuable member of the roster but I doubt it.

I'm ranked 370th in the world so I rolled for that and got a 37 which added five to my selling.

Through six rolls, I think I made two good rolls (The 37 and 21), one great roll (the 8) and then the rest was pretty unhelpful (2,4,44)

I've added a supplementary male character who is made with RTG rules. I'll be tracking his accomplishments separately to see if I can RTG him too, though if he gets nabbed, he gets nabbed, not much I can do about that.

Gonna take this a bit calmer than my other games, focus less on trying to rush growth and more just having fun, so I don't expect to roar out of the gates.

Move over Yuma and Kazue, there is a new first couple of Puroresu. I realized in January that at small I could start signing people to exclusive contracts so I signed Sterling Whitlock and he's been absolutely killing it for me. I regret only signing him to a three-year contract at this point because he is the franchise to me.

I can't believe USPW let him go and that no one else in Japan signed him. What a mistake.

Fuyuko Higa is also absolutely killing it and she's a bit of a cheat code. She walked out of 5SSW and no other puro company has a Joshi division so I'm able to keep her on my roster for incredibly cheap for how good she is. I'm taking a bit of a risk with her reputation for being a troublemaker but she hasn't really caused any problems so far.

Also, The Dark Eagle Trophy title thing is so dumb. I know how to fix it but it makes me laugh every time I see it.

I didn't just come to hear to wax poetic about Sterling Whitlock and Higa however.

It took me forever to do that but I finally did it and...I rolled a 20. Straight edge isn't bad I'm definitely happy that I won't become an addict in the future but it's also not the most helpful roll possible.

So I'm currently on normal c'verse and currently in march 2021, been running a sports entertainment product and have been running exclusively 1 vs 1 matches with 2 matches a show, 1 of them always including my UC.

Quick rules clarification, Am I allowed to do this? Because I really want to. They have some of the best wrestlers in Japan with loyalty to them.

This would cement my company as a legitimate threat in the country. Yeah, They're losing seven or eight grand a month but I'm making 53,000 grand a month off of sponsorships alone due to the economy and wrestling industry.

I know we can't start pacts with other companies but can we buy them out?

Go for it! the rules only allow alliances & relationships so do it!

Yes, you can buy out companies. I would recommend shutting them down so you can leech their popularity for your own and then sign their unemployed workers. If you need a dev fed, that's a good route as well. Always take their events too, as they're likely to be a higher importance than yours, or closer to upgrading.

I keep them open because I think the C-Verse needs at least 1 Joshi fed.

I, unfortunately, had to fire Ogiwara because she had a really low business skill so I replaced her with Buddy Garner and now they've got 40 grand in the bank as of June.

I also signed Black Diamond, Allie Perks, and Kate Lilly. Kate Lilly has been absolutely tearing it up down there so I'm going to sign Debbie Rose to join her.

I also sent Yayoi Kurmochi, Spider Isako, Rina Kasahara, and Kaori Takenouchi down to help them out.

The really weird thing about 5SSW is that they don't have a dojo. It seems weird for a Joshi fed to not have a dojo to me.

Obviously they went bankrupt so they didn't have a lot of money to start with but they've been in business since 1985. Usually a Japanese Wrestling company in business that long would have a dojo. Even FMW had a dojo.

How did you work out you had low destiny?

I think my UC has rock bottom destiny but i'm 47 shows into a dynasty so i'm sticking with this until the bitter end.
