Dear Adam, please communicate with us

Recommended Posts

Edit: Please don't use this thread to start meaningless discussions. This is really just here to make sure that Adam knows about the lack of communication that a significant amount of users are criticising. This is not about b*tching about the game or anything like that.

I want to make this as short as possible.

There have been and still are a lot of concerns about this game. A lot of them have been fixed, and a few of them even were addressed before they got fixed, but still every day there are threads or posts about serious issues and there's absolutely no communication to give us any idea about

  • Whether you're aware of the problem
  • Why the problem exists in the first place; there's almost no transparency for us players
  • Whether you'll work on a fix
  • Or if not, why you won't

I understand that you're probably very busy patching the game and figuring out problems, but the thing is this: Having problems with the game, telling you about them via this forum and not getting ANY reaction whatsoever is way more frustrating than having to wait a day longer for a patch! If I know that a problem is being worked on - or even that it's not, but I know the reason -, I'm going to stay on board longer than if I'm waiting to no avail. Because if the problems are addressed at some point (via patch notes, most of the time), chances are I'm not around anymore to care.

Long story short: Please spend some of the time you're working on the game to communicate with us.

This post is why Gamers are considered super entitled.

Also, there are plenty of posts on these topics in the tech support forum. Adam is not required to be your DM buddy on the issues you have with the game. he responds to threads al the time.

Don't blow this up any further. I think OP will agree this thread can be locked now. Any further posts like this one will only serve to ignite some fires. He's just asking for communication. I'm not sure you know what entitled means. Entitled people make demands. This is an inquiry.

The fact that he responds to threads and ignores others can be interpreted as a tell that these issues won't be dealt with. That's probably not true, but no way to know without any communication, is there?

It's pretty obvious that you haven't properly read my post.

And yes, I agree with Blackman. This thread can be closed. It did what it was supposed to do and anything beyond that will most likely not be beneficial for any kind of constructive discussion.

<p>Hey, </p><p> </p><p>

I quoted Adam's post in the first post of the thread to make it clear that he's responded. It's very easy for messages to get lost in the middle of any thread that has a bunch of replies, particularly when people continue to reply.</p><p> </p><p>

There's no real need to lock the thread, but this time we're going to just because things got a bit heated. Looking for constructive feedback in a constructive way is never a bad thing. The only issue GDS ever has with people posting is when they break the forum rules. I've lost count of the number of times I've linked people to those, but <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=544820" rel="external nofollow">HERE</a> is one more just in case as a reminder for the very small number of people who may need a refresher. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
