Alan Scott vs Plastic Man

These two heroes face off using their usual skill sets. Alan Scott Working the crowd, Plastic Man using his gimmick to get a few laughs. The biggest highlight of the match was when Alan Scott created Wall and used Plastic Man like he was playing Raquette ball. This left Plastic Man dizzy enough to be pinned by the Vet. Alan Scott wins.

Jeffry McWild vs Reinhardt

This match featured two larger men that seemed more entertaining then the last. Jeffry McWild Debuts with little pop from the crowd. And although he showcases a martial arts style like several other EBD members he was not able to match up to the Armored Reinhardt. The strong punches and kicks seemed to be deflected and countered. He did however pull the most powerful tilt-a-whirl- back breaker the crowd has seen. But Reinhardt Brushed it off quickly and leaped into the air bringing his hammer down on the shoulder of McWild. Crumbling the newcomer. Reinhardt secures the pin.

During his celebration Reinhardt fails to see The Devil’s Teacups sneak in through a black portal. When he does notice it, its too late. A flurry of Tag team moves proceed to beat the older Fighter down. It wasn’t long before a force field is covering Reinhardt...A green Force field. Alan Scott flies down to the aid of Reinhardt. Using solid construct to clear the ring! He helps Reinhardt to his feet and they start taunting the evil duo as they flee. Reinhardt looks at Scott with a new found respect and they shake hands.

Gouken vs Sgt Slaughter

Both men coming off a loss needed a win tonight, Gouken was clearly the more skilled & underestimated the skill of Slaughter, Heavy blows back and forth kept the match buzzing. Gouken even slipped out of the cobra clutch. The finale happened tho when Gouken took a vicious Bump to the outside preventing him from getting back to the ring before the 10 count.

Superb fighting was presented between these two heels. Darth Maul being forced to use his amazing agility to avoid the stone like fists of Red hulk. Red Hulk taking quick cuts to the body and arms with each missed hit. However Red hulk wasn’t deterred.His ferocity only grew, eventually Maul was backed into the turnbuckle. Red Hulk unleashes his ultimate finisher while Maul is pinned against the buckle...HULK SMASH! The end result is a dual bladed lightsaber rolling to the outside, and Red hulk pulling a horn from his knuckle like a splinter. Hulk secures a easy cocky pin.

The fans wondered what Guardian could bring to the table against the Airy Fairey Dimensional Champion Astaroth. The answer...FRESH MEAT! The Match was pure domination for Astaroth. Guardian unleashed ½ a move where he outstretched his arm and it looked like a concussive blast. Unfortunately for him Astaroth ripped his cyborg arm from his body and beat the living hell out of the poor Canadian. Egon was forced to stop the match after Guardian didn’t move for 3 minutes of the pummeling. Fans started calling this moment the “Stop hitting yourself incident”

The bets came in that Death Zone would be torn in half 5 to 1. And Astaroth didn’t disappoint. 11 minutes this Ass whoopin went on, Death Zone only using his portal powers to escape but on several occasions was pulled back through his own portals by Astaroth. And for Astaroth he unleashed every move in his arsenal without worrying about a counter or any fight back from his opponent. But Astaroth knocked Egon (Referee) out and the moment he hits the floor, out comes the Big Red Machine himself RED HULK! In a raging Fury Red Hulk hit a Clothesline so hard on Astaroth the Club shook, He stunned the champion and dragged Deathzone's comatose body on Astaroth. Hulk wakes the ref for the 1...2...3 OMG Death Zone wins Death Zone beat the Champion. Red Hulk coops his ally up and leaves the ring only for Astaroth to shake the cobwebs out and rage around the ring at his 1st loss.

A showcase of superb Martial Arts shown tonight between these two men. Quick punches of Gouken, heavy Grapples and Headbutts from McWild these two fought in and out of the ring in a crazy wild brawl for 13 minutes, The chemistry was off the charts as the match wore on. the turning point of the match was a botched headbut by Mcwild into the turnbuckle allowing for Gouken to land his finisher “Sen-Kuu-Gou-Shou-Pa” to steal his victory.

The Main event featured 3 top EBD stars in a 3 way dance. It was pure chaos , but it was a sure fact that even though Maul & Hulk don;t like each other their beef is easily squashed when a hero is in the ring. Alan Scott fought the 2 of them as if it was a handicap match, unable to withstand the onslaught Scott eventually falls from the ring. That's when Red Hulk gets the upper hand on Maul. he rips the saber from the sith’s hands and hurls it. Red Hulk then hits several power bombs and slams on the smaller villain laying out Maul for the rest of the match. Red Hulk then rolls in Alan Scott and lands the Devastating ground and pound the fans only know as HULK SMASH. Egon is forced to stop the match as no response from Scott or Maul determined Red Hulk the winner and the new #1 contender.

The opening match was decent, Although the pop for Dr.Anthrax was poor he did show great Chemistry with Guardian. The Action featured a ranged battle, Guardian shooting concussive blasts while Dr.Anthrax unleashed odd looking Rays that seemed to miss Guardian more than hit him. The finale of the match featured Guardian latching Dragon Sleeper and locking his legs around Dr.Anthrax. The new villain is forced to submit.

Darth Maul vs Plastic Man

Darth Maul has been in the top 5 since EBD debut, while Plastic Man has hovered near the bottom, desperate for some momentum. And it showed as plastic man fought with determination. On several occasions he was able to slip past Mauls force powers, and he used his stretchy limbs to attack from afar. But Maul still kept up the 75/25 offense. Maul did slip up when he thought Plastic Man was down and delivered a leaping downward thrust. Plastic Man was playing chicken and literally rolled up Darth Maul fo a quick 1..2..3 PLastic Man rushes out the ring leaving Darth Maul to wonder what just happened.

Devil’s Teacups vs Justice Watch

Tonight's tag team bout is for the new EBD Tag team Twin blades. These two daggers shall represent the top in the tag division and will hopefully have a long prestigious lineage But now for the action. The Devil’’s teacups have been a menace since their EBD debut but that looks to be thwarted by two of the men they have targeted in the past. The Experience of Alan Scott and Reinhardt at first seemed too much to handle for the Teacups. Alan scott used wall like constructs to cut the ring off, while heavy strikes kept the rookies back peddling. But will and stamina were on the Devil’s Teacups side in this Match and it wasn’t long before the 2 vets were becoming winded. Death Zone took the lead using portals to zip around the ring and deliver quick grapples. While the sheer speed and highflying ability kept Justice Watch guessing. The final moments showed Death Zone setting up several portals that zips a rolled up Epic Corey around the ring until he breaks the sound barrier. And at the last moment Death Zone pops a portal right in front of Scott. The impact was immense. The Devil’s Teacups just showed the Fans their Finisher “Tea for Two” Deathzone grabs a easy pin. The Devil’s Teacups win the Twin Blades.

Astaroth vs RedHulk

The fight Fans have waited for since the tournament months ago. The two biggest monsters in the company square off. As expected the fight was superb, Astaroth and RedHulk were evenly matched. Each delivering and receiving Blows that shook the club walls. Neither fighter decided to block, neither fighter decided to use any technique. This was just a slobberknocker from start to about midway. Around the 10 minute Mark Astaroth whips his axe across Red Hulks Stomach, slicing the Big Red Machine from rib to rib. Although Red Hulk regenerates, something was clearly wrong. He Goes in for a grapple and is countered with a side step and a rotating axe swing that connects 4 times in a row. Red Hulk Staggers back. Astaroth finishes the Big Red Machine with his patented Bull rush Gutbuster which the fans begin to chant blast of astaroth *Clap Clap Clapclapclap* Astaroth finishes the match with his 2nd defense in the bag.

The show opens off with a segment featuring All 3 of the Devil’s Teacup. Deathzone and Epic Corey hold their blades at their side the Twin Blades EBD’s Tag team Achievement.

Deathzone- Oh Brother you had your shot but the tea went cold ya know. Last month was our time to put the gold trim on the tea cup. But you went and got chipped Big Red.

Red Hulk- Wh..What

Epic Corey- What our wordsmith here is trying to say Red. is that you embarrassed yourself. And you embarrassed the Devil’s teacups. Do we have to hold your hand to your little road to glory Red? Is that what we do in this stable? No we deliver piping hot Tea in the form of ass kickings.

Red Hulk: I tried he was just too strong?!?

Epic Corey- Too Strong? Your the %&^($&%^*$#(%&^((#&&^&)(*(^%&*# Red Hulk. your whole thing is you are strong. Are you saying we should have went to big bad Astaroth and extended our friendship instead is that Red Hulk.

Tonight's opening match takes place in the Club EkmO boiler room. The match was decent showcasing a 3 workers. Jeffry Mcwild being the only “Human” was at a disadvantage. And Darth Mauls Lightsaber attacks were hindered from the tight quarters. But it was Guardian who flown and shown his might tonight. The ending showed Guardian blasting a pipe with his concussive blasts, which released piping hot steam into the face of Jeffry Mcwild, while the steam filled the room, Guardian snuck in the pin.

Dr Anthrax vs Plastic Man

Dr. Anthrax came out swinging using his Anthrax aura to make Plastic Man woozy, but the Bouncing goof ball wouldn’t be a victim again tonight. Plastic Man used his stretching limbs to lock in several agonizing submissions on Dr. Anthrax to wear him down. His used his Malleable body to recoil attacks at Anthrax. But the moment that won the crowd and match was when Plastic man hit a 10x German suplex. Plastic Man looked like a slinky, 3 suplexes in the ring, one on the turn buckle to apron, another from apron to floor. And so on the crowd looked in awe at the skill that plastic hasn’t shown in the EBD yet. Plastic rolls Anthrax back in for the pin.

Astaroth is sharpening his axe in his locker room when a Black portal opens up at his feet, sucking Astaroth through and leaving his axe behind.

He reappears 15ft above the ramp and hits with a sickening thud. Another portal opens and all 3 of the devil’s teacups appear. And they proceed to beat the hell out of Astaroth. With no weapon and out matched Astaroth was layed out at the top of the ramp. The devil’s tea cups stand united and trumphent

Justice Watch vs Gouken & Heihachi.

These two teams seemed to be paired off well with each other, Gouken and Heihachi using strong Karate to wear down the grizzled vets. Gouken even Dragon Uppercuts Scott into a Heiachi nookie, But the tides turned when Reinhardt was fired up after receiving a long awaited tag. Reinhardt proceeded to dismantle the 2 martial artists. Using a upward swing he knocked Gouken into the protective Dome. and he finished off Heihachi with a Tag finisher! Alan Scott sets up “Wall” Reinhardt smashes Heihachi through it. Then scott makes and anvil, and Reinhardt treats Heihachi’s back like bendable metal and whacks him repeatedly like a blacksmith. Ganthet called it the Anvil & Hammer

What can one say when you put a Pro Wrestler from the 80’s against a walking talking battle hungry monster...nothing good for the wrestler that is for sure. This main event was 10 minutes of pure un-adulturated violence. Not once did Slaughter do any offense. Instead he was slaughtered. Axe chops gut busters galore. The EBD fed Sgt. But the appearance of Astaroth halted any Guardian chants being said. But Guardian did make headway using his Blasts to target the Champions swinging arm. He even managed to wear down Astaroth enough to drop his Axe. But that action only caused a horrible Rage to unleash in Astaroth when he Bull rushes Guardian and proceeds to man handle the canuck. The finish was when Astaroth placed Guardians neck on the middle rope and delivers his huge size 30 boots into the back of Guardians Skull. The force was enough to smash his face on the apron and snap back for another boot. The ref is forced to stop the match when Guardian’s arms began to flop around like a muppet. Astaroth picks up his axe screams for RED HULK and does a quick stroke with his axe blade to his neck for a terrifying gesture. EBD Year End Report 1980

With the year ending we saw a boom in the wrestling business. By Year end 6 promotions were opened up. The EBD being the founding company, followed by Power ring Combat (PRC) Pro wrestling Eternia (PWE) Kyoto Animation (KyoAni) & Toei animation. (TOEI). With the company wars about to take off will EBD be able to stay at #1? We already witnessed several workers taking on additional contracts with the PRC.

Jeffry Mcwild vs Dr. Anthrax

Both of these men have been at the bottom of the rankings for some time now, both with 0 momentum under their feet. That changed tonight for one of them. The fight was Decent. Jeffry fought in a Wild brawling fashion, while Dr.Anthrax kept his distance using sickness rays to weaken McWild, The finale happened when Jeffry tried to powerbomb Dr.Anthrax into the casket but gets reversed into the Anthrax Face Crusher, laying Jeffry face down in the casket. Anthrax seals the door..pulls a match out...and lights the casket on fire. He leans into the screaming casket set a blaze…”You’re fired!”

The Devil’s Teacups are in the back chatting when the EBD Champion notices them with a :Loud Roar Astaroth comes Barrelling down the hall. He knocks over catering tables and old women. The Devil’s Teacups escape through Death Zone’s trademark portals.The Portal closes and Astaroth barrels into a small child who is wearing a “Astaroth is Good “shirt. The Devil’s Teacups escape.

Mr.Karate vs Reinhardt

The return of Mr.Karate did not disappoint, clearly learning some new techniques in the MMA cage Mr.Karate throws big kicks and punches, while doging the massive hammer of Reinhardt. Reinhardt throwing Hammer style haymakers across the ring was getting winded. This allowed for Mr.Karate to hit a 50 hit combo of chops, slaps and punches. Mr. Karate finishes Reinhardt with a short range Ki Blast knocking out the armored knight.

At some point it looks as if the Devil’s Teacups got separated. Deathzone comes out of a portal alone… Unfortunately when he is nervous or frightened he can’t always choose his portals destination, like now Deathzone opens up in a bathroom stall. It just happens to be the same bathroom stall that Astaroth was using after eating a Human BAby Burrito. S^&% hit the fan literally and the Monster decimates the poor Deathzone in the stall. When Astaroth opens the door Deathzone is laying butt 1st in the toilet and a piece of toilet paper is stuck to Astaroth’s huge foot as he leaves

Darth Maul vs Kid Goku

Darth Maul is greeted by the fans chanting “Jobber” this put a raging fire into the Sith’s eyes. He fought hard and aggressive, lunging and thrusting his dual bladed lightsaber, but the small yet strong child Kid Goku just chuckled as if it was a game and used his Power pole to vault leap and attack around the ring. Goku picked up the win when Darth Maul missed a spinning leaping slash which severed a turnbuckle post in half. Kid Goku then unleashed a Kamihamiha to the backside of Maul. Loku grabs a easy pinfall.

Devil’s Teacups vs Alpha Flight

While Alpha flight waits in the ring. Epic Corey looks around for his partner seemingly unaware of Deathzone’s fate. Suddenly Ganthet approaches the Mouse man and informs him that the match is a handicap match because Astaroth manhandled Deathzone.

The Match is underway and the lack of chemistry between Alpha flight was apparent both Guardian and Puck couldn’t string their moves in tangent with each other, they fought over who should be in etc. This allowed for the evil Mouse to take advantage with flipping tail attacks and sweeps. And very impactful moves for his size. Guardian held his own almost securing victory through his flight and concussive blasts. It was Puck who screwed up an easy win when he forced a tag on Guardian. Tried to charging headbutt Epic Corey, the move was reversed and Epic Corey uses his tail to deliver a modified “Chokeslam” which leveled the tiny Canadian.

Epic Corey leaps from the ring leaving the two canadians arguing in the ring shoving each other.

Astaroth vs Red Hulk vs AlanScott vs Plastic Man

The Fatal four way where the odds of a fatality are pretty high. The Match was predominantly Astaroth and Red Hulk Swinging it out. Alan Scott would try something heroic but was swatted aside, Plastic man then would beat Alan Scott and duck outside from the monster brawl. Astaroth looked to be taking the lead in the brawl until Red Hulk Grabs Astaroth’s Arm delivers x3 Arm wrench and hoists him in the air and slams Astaroth on his head. From there it was the big red Machines night and he delivered a beating on the 3 opponents.. The winning moment that changed the titles owner was when the hulk used Plastic Man to pummel Astaroth into the ground until Astaroth’s leg twitched, he drops plastic man and taunts the crowd “This is your Champion?” 1.2.3 ding ding ding Red Hulk looks confused when he turns around to see he dropped plastic Man on top of Astaroth allowing Plastic Man to get the win. Plastic MAn is the new champion??? Plastic man is the new champion!!! Egon lifts plastic mans limp stretched out Arm.

Snippits from Epic: Well a new year some slight changes. with some extra segments than in 1980. With the switch to Comic Book Dark I felt like instead of just having the usual beat em up. To do some flavorful fun angles. Also FYI I rarely choose winners myself the last 2 matches shocked me to say the least. Between the lack of chemistry for Alpha flight which I would like to think allowed Epic Corey to win. And who would have ever thought that good ol’ Plasty would actually win tonight.
