  2. ROAD TO SLAMMIVERSARY XX - GO HOME WEEK Week 1 July 2024 All three teams registered win in their preparation for the big title match at Slammiversary. While MK Ultra got the better of Su Yung and Holidead, SHAWties defeated Spitfire and Fatal Attraction dominated the Renegade Twins. Miyu Yamashita continued to gain momentum before their own match against eternal rivals Wasteland War Party by defeating Heidi Howitzer and the contract signing between Kamille and Thunder Rosa was as expected explosive as both butted heads and brawled all over the ring. Jake Something proved everyone that he is one dangerous fellow as he annihilated PCO in the Monster's Ball match and then called out The Herald and warned him to accept his Lucha de Apuestas match or he would kill PCO with his bare hands which Herald accepted. The episode of IMPACT!onAXStv opened with a rarity, a non-title match for Gresham and he took on Vikingo. A hard fought and a spectacular match later, Gresham came out victorious. It was the final evening before Moose took on Myron Reed and both had identical warm-ups, Moose defeating KUSHIDA and Myron Reed getting the win over Laredo Kid. The #1 contender match for this month went down between Team Canada (3-0) and Von Erichs (3-4) and this time Team Canada made no mistake as Eric Young hit the Piledriver on Ross Von Erich to take the win. All eyes were on Josh Alexander as he made his way to the ring, eagerly awaiting his Slammiversary opponent, when a familiar tune echoed and the crowd were up in raptures because it was THE RAINMAKER KAZUCHIKA OKADA!!!!! and he was carrying the STRONG Openweight Title belt with him which meant that he would defend his belt against Alexander. Both competitors had an intense stare-off before signing on the dotted line of the agreement that CEO Scott D'Amore had brought. The clash between Total Bullet Club and Aces & Eights was not going to earn any definite result and it certainly did not, as Styles, Lawlor and the two tag teams never made it about winning, rather it was all about hurting your opponents. 9. ROAD TO SLAMMIVERSARY XX Week 4 June 2024 Xplosion opened this week with Sam Leterna asking Gail Kim a very important question, who will be facing Shaw and Evans for the KO Tag Team titles at Slammiversary? Gail Kim says that she will announce it during the show but she has a special announcement, all the three teams facing each other tonight!!!! Sea Stars caused a major upset as they defeated Fire-N-Flava to continue their upward rise in the tag ranks. Deonna Purrazzo once again would take up sizeable portion of the show, singing her praises and calling out all the legends saying that everybody is cowering in fear of the Virtuosa and nobody has the balls to come face her but she will continue coming out until and unless she gets an opponent. Kim walks out and mentions that she is in talks with a legend and Deonna would have her opponent but it will be mystery till the night of Slammiversary and if Deonna takes up any more minutes of the show, Gail would make sure that she is never able to defend her title in a TNA ring!!! The Virtuosa let out choicest of expletives before storming out of the ring. The three teams, MK Ultra, Fatal Attraction & SHAWties went toe to toe with each other and it was a very physical match but without any result as nobody paid heed to the count of 10 and the match was thrown out. Gail Kim walks out again and she has made her decision, it will be SHAWties vs MK Ultra vs Fatal Attraction in a Full Metal Mayhem match!!!! The main event saw one of the best matches of TNA in this year as Miyu Yamashita and Thunder Rosa threw everything at each other and The Tokyo Ace showed that she is not afraid of the Cult, dominating Rosa for a sizeable time in the match but in the end, the numbers game caught upto her as the presence of Wasteland War Party was a constant distraction. Finally, Rosa hit the La Rosa to win this awesome match. The end saw Wasteland War Party , Rosa and Holidead attacking Yamashita before Itoh and Kamille came for her rescue. Itoh then challenges Wasteland War Party to a match at Slammiversary. Herald notches up his second title defense, defeating Joe Hendry for the Digital Media title and while the Cult of Doom tried to injure Hendry, we saw the return of Jake Something..... for the first time since Against All Odds as he cleared house. He then warns The Herald, accept his terms otherwise he will burn down the entire Cult. Herald asks him to put his hands to where his mouth is and next week, face PCO in a Monster's Ball match!!! From the last month onwards, the tag ranking series has been opening Impact on AXStv for every week and this week was no different. Von Erichs continued their rise back to the top with another commanding win over Max Assault, hitting the Iron Claw on Laredo Kid. Team Canada re-enters the series and it seemed they never left, as they overcome Subculture with Bailey hitting the Ultima Weapon on Morgan Webster. After a long time, we saw ABC and Rascals taking on each other as part of the Ticket to Title series and in a hard fought match, ABC came out victorious, albeit an assist from Major Players as Cardona sneaked in on Miguel and Bey capitalizes with the Art of Finesse. The Rascals returned the favour as Myron Reed hit Moose with the spray paint while referee was distracted to help Lawlor win his match. Crowd welcomed Josh Alexander back as he mentioned he is totally recovered now and it is unfortunate that his partner, Steve Maclin is injured and he is raring to go against the Killer Elite Squad and show them the might of The Walking Weapon but during his injury, he has introspected and while The Pillars tag team with Maclin and their tag run was fun, it is time for him to go solo again. He has had enough tag team laurels that will last for a lifetime but if he has to be the ace of TNA, he has to overcome big challenges. So, he was in talks with TNA management and he has signed a marquee match at Slammiversary, his opponent will be revealed next week and it will be one of the biggest names in pro wrestling!!! The main event saw Nic Nemeth taking on Alex Shelley and it was a generational clash with an eclectic mix of psychology and in ring wrestling making this an epic bout. Nic Nemeth won the match and took home a full steam of momentum when he blocked Shellshock twice before hitting the Danger Zone and a Superkick. TNA Xplosion Ep.23 @ 23rd June 2024 1. Sea Stars def. 14. ROAD TO SLAMMIVERSARY XX Week 3 June 2024 This week's episode of Xplosion was all about the main event, MK Ultra versus the newly debuting team Fatal Attraction. Both teams cut scathing promos on each other and then both even clashed with the champs, Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans. In the opening match of the night, it was a triple threat tag match between Sea Stars, Spitfire and Renegade Twins which the Sea Stars won when Ashley Vox hit Jody Threat with the Vader Bomb. Deonna Purrazzo would once again take up much of the time of the show as she would ask the audience to count the number of legends that she has destroyed on her way to keep this title on her waist. She counts Mickie James, Beth Copeland (f.k.a Beth Phoenix), Mercedes Martinez, Faby Apache and countless others. She is the Virtuosa and the ultimate Legend Killer so she was wondering who would be foolish enough to step up to her next in the ring. She waited for someone to come out but nobody came frustrating her as she tells that she will come again next week and challenges any legend of the industry to come out to her. Kamille teamed up with Yamashita and Itoh to fight off Thunder Rosa and Wasteland War Party, the newest members of Cult of Doom and while they lost the match, Yamashita had a breakout moment as she hit a stinging Brazilian Kick to both Heidi and Max to knock them out and comes face to face with Thunder Rosa!!!! She challenges her to a match next week, telling her that she doesn't fear the Cult of Doom and she will show what it is to be the "Tokyo Ace". The main event saw a very competitive bout between MK Ultra and Fatal Attraction and just when it seemed like the debuting team would take the victory, the champions come out and ruin the match, attacking both teams as Gisele Shaw hit Dani Mo on Masha Slamovich while Savannah Evans hit the Fisherman's Suplex on Macey to draw the DQ. BUT THE QUESTION WAS WHO WOULD FACE THEM AT SLAMMIVERSARY???? The TNA Originals vs Cult of Doom continued in BTI as Frankie Kazarian became the latest conquest of The Herald as he hit a devastating spear to notch up his 1st defense of the Digital Media title. The opener of this edition of Impact on AXStv saw a familiar face returning to TNA after long excursions in Japan, Lio Rush and he had a breath taking match with Leon Slater which he won with the Dragon's Call. Lio Rush is back and he was ready to consolidate his position in X-Division. ABC's first chosen opponents were the most recent #1 contenders, Subculture and they had to dig deep for a victory when Ace blocked the Stundog Millionaire attempt from Mark Andrews and hit the Fold on him to win. Similarly, Tom Lawlor also passed the first challenge with flying colours as he overcame TNA veteran Eric Young. The clash between Major Players and Rascals kept heating up as once again, Rascals used their spray paint to attack Moose, Cardona and Myers in their dressing room. It was Cardona who would clash with Wentz and put him down with the Radio Silence. This week saw only one Tag Ranking series match as Grizzled Young Veterans mount their comeback with a defeat of Max Assault. TNA Xplosion Ep.22 @ 17th June 2024 1. Sea Stars def. Spitfire and Renegade Twins 2. Cult of Doom (Thunder Rosa/Wasteland War Party) def. Kamille & Team 1 to 1 Million 3. 15. I don't have the game in front of me at this moment but both Lacey Evans and Mandy Rose have high sex appeal and have a pretty strong tag team going for them in this save so far.

  17. ROAD TO SLAMMIVERSARY XX Week 2 June 2024 Xplosion starts off with the debuting Team Sea Stars carving out a dominating victory over Coven when Ashley Vox hit the Fish on a Hook on Taylor Wilde to start off on a winning note. Elsewhere, MK Ultra regrouped again and put down Fire-N-Flava with Masha hitting the Snow Plough on Kiera Hogan. After the match, they challenged SHAWties for their KO tag titles but before the champs could come out, It's Mandy & Macey (f.k.a Mandy Rose & Lacey Evans in WWE)!!! They had started teaming up in indies and MLW as Fatal Attraction, capitalizing on their ultra-popular Only Fans page and now they were here in TNA. They arrived and challenged MK Ultra to a match claiming a fatal dose of attraction is needed in TNA to shake the KO division to it's core. We got a brawl which Mandy & Macey won before signaling that next week, it is Fatal Attraction's time. SHAWties would have a response of their own to all the developments in the tag division when they defeated the undefeated so far Renegade Twins when Gisele Shaw hit a brutal Dani Mo to Robyn which busted her open to retain their title for the 3rd time. After the match, Shaw addresses the crowd that she is the Quintessential Diva so it doesn't matter if there is Ultra or Fatal, nobody beats Shaw so she is handing out a golden opportunity, the winner of MK Ultra vs Fatal Attraction next week would get a shot at her title at Slammiversary XX. Kamille walked out to close the show. She is happy that the Nixon problem has been taken care of but she has a bigger headache right now, and that is the Ultimate X winner Thunder Rosa as she calls Rosa out and asks her when she will be cashing her shot because she is tired of waiting. Rosa comes out and answers that Slammiversary XX would be Kamille's date with the Doom as she would finally get the fortune of going face-to-face with the Mistress of Doom, Thunder Rosa. Kamille provokes her to come into the ring but she is ambushed from behind by the Wasteland War Party, Su Yung and Holidead before Yamashita and Itoh would clear the house and help Kamille out. While Something had been grievously injured during his match at Against All Odds when Steve jabbed him with his bloody fork multiple times, it was Joe Hendry's turn to take revenge as he hit the Freak of Nature on Steve not once, not twice, but thrice before the rest of Cult make their way out and Hendry retreats. The Impact on AXStv started with a bang as Total Bullet Club arrived to the ring in full celebration mode. With AJ Styles and KENTA holding their TNA World Championship and STRONG Television title and displaying them on their shoulders, Styles took charge and claimed that finally the real Bullet Club era has started and what you see in front are the premium top of the mountain collection of superstars. So, you better ditch all the phonies running around the industry today and bask in the glory of Total Bullet Club. This brings out Aces & Eights as Killer Elite Squad displays their own Openweight tag titles with Lawlor saying that they are not the only ones with gold, Aces also has one and if AJ is so confident, then he will have no problem in putting his belt on line against Lawlor. Santino Marella comes out and say that he has a brilliant idea, ABC and Tom Lawlor would face two opponents each of Marella's choosing on back-to-back weeks and if both are victorious, then they would get their title shots at Slammiversary. Von Erichs new found confidence after their defeat of Major Players at Against All Odds and reaped good rewards as they put down another big team in Grizzled Young Veterans while Beer Money showed their tag team brilliance in defending their titles against the #1 contenders, Subculture which was the main event. Nic Nemeth started his preparations for the X-Division title with a bang as he overcame the challenge of Black Taurus while Bollywood Boyz would continue their monthly winning start with yet another victory over Good Hands. Good Hands had now lost five ranking series matches and were permanently out of any title contention for the foreseeable future. We also saw Major Empire taking on Time Machine and losing due to interference of the Rascals as Reed, Wentz and Trey hit Moose, Cardona and Myers with spray paints blinding them before Shelley hit the Shellshock on Myers to win. Moose was infuriated and he challenged Myron Reed to a match at Slammiversary. TNA Xplosion Ep.21 @ 10th June 2024 1. Sea Stars def. The Coven 2. TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Title: SHAWties (c) def. 18. Kamille vs Rosa will be good considering Cult of Doom's involvement. Sabin and Kenta did not had any chemistry at all. Feels weird considering their tremendous IRL at Bound for Glory last year. AJ and Beer Money as champs feel good 😄. The Road to Slammiversary starts next and i was busy with office trips this week so, hopefully the next post will be up tomorrow.
  19. After a highly successful Against All Odds which saw AJ Styles and Beer Money return to the pinnacle of the company that they helped build, the fallout is expected to be intense. The first confirmed match for this week is, of course, the #1 contenders, Subculture challenging the champions Beer Money for the the Tag Team titles. Steve Maclin has sustained a separated shoulder during his match against the Killer Elite Squad and initial reports suggest that he will miss Slammiversary. Although Josh Alexander is fully fit and he has shaken off his injury and if dirt sheets are to be believed, then Alexander and Maclin's tag run is coming to an end and it's time for both of them to go solo. There have also been reports regarding number of female tag teams who have been signed for the KO tag division and one such team, Sea Stars would make their debut against Coven while another team is expected to make their appearance in a segment. This Week on TNA - Fallout week from Against All Odds Beer Money takes on Subculture for their first defense of tag team titles Sea Stars makes their debut against Coven We hear from AJ Styles The Tag Ranking Series continue Major Empire takes on Time Machine

  24. Well, the opportunity presented itself so i thought why not? But she is currently in declining phase and her performance is very poor so she is definitely not coming back, this was a one - off. Deonna's current arc is definitely interesting, at least in my head so expect her to tackle some more industry veterans in the months to come. Ha thanks and welcome to the diary. What is TNA without nostalgia? Also, in long run if TNA needs to compete with the big two, they need big stars at the front and what better than Beer Money and AJ Styles at the top of the company that they made it to what it is now after so many years.
