redhilleagle
I tried to sign a few guys but sometimes get them saying they've had a better offer from someone else, but I look at the rivals offer and I always up my offer way and above theirs, but they still say they've had a better offer. What's up with that?
njmcfreak
Signing bonus, Merchandise, Length of offer, Creative control etc. Just the monthly wage isn't what workers look at. Also I do think they look at the company as a whole and how they would fit. I could be wrong.

You normally have to offer a LOT more to entice someone from a bigger company. Think of it this way.

If you're offering 30% of their merch, which is $1m a year total, they get $300k.

If a bigger company is only offering 25%, but they shift $3m a year, that is $750k.

Don't underestimate that Merch cut money.
