Portlius
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but why do Some AI companies only run monthly events? Weekly events appear to be far better for both cash and growth. Am I missing something?
Browning
Below a certain popularity it costs more to run shows than you make. It’s not financially viable to run weekly shows until a certain point, unless you’re happy living in debt and paying it back later.
ConcutioCaelum
I started a local to global game and quickly realized that running weekly events was great for company pop, it was not good for worker pop. My company caught up to my roster and they could not grow their pop enough to be considered major stars so I started getting hit with "not having enough big names" on my shows. I couldn't afford to bring in more popular talent while running weekly events so I would need to switch to two monthly shows. Of course I also had a declining economy and industry, but I am restarting to run just monthly events, at least for the first year.
