  1. I run a yearly round-robin for my junior heavyweights. It's the only round-robin I run, to make it stand out. My men's roster has two A-Shows, so I run two 10-man blocks, one for each show. Over three months they will run matches. My B-show becomes my "catch-up" show, ensuring I stay on pace for the PPV at the end of the three months. I've been debating on playing around with the block structure or reducing the number of competitors, but it makes it really easy to fill tv time.
  2. Starting a new side save and hoping to something different. In my main, I run the typical 4 weeks of tv and then a PPV event. To try and avoid "traditional" tv, is it better to run weekly events, and at what intent level? I've messed around a bit with touring shows, but didn't care for the lack of popularity gains.
  3. It's based on the show grade compared to your company's popularity. For example, my insignificant company(Mid-West pop of 10) had a 34-rated show and received the same message as your 65-rated show.
  4. I just started a local to global save with two companies. One is men only, the other women only. Both are running one tour event a week, plus a monthly big event. I only signed people that would take less than $50 an appearance. I have went positive on cash with every show, and a couple of the tour shows were so good that they did raise my popularity. Tour shows do effect momentum, just at a slower pace. I've had only one non-tour event so far with my men's company and multiple guys came into the show with good momentum.
  5. Decided to take a break from my main save and finally return to the C-Verse. I started out with a local to global game when the game launched, but it went off the rails when I bought CWA and just had too much going on. At that point some Real World mods had come out and moved on after feeling burnt out on it. So I'm doing another local to global. My company is Battleground Wrestling Federation (BWF) and is in the Mid-West. Starting with a roster of 6 wrestlers plus my user character who is ref and road agent. I have Ernest Youngman, Logan Wolfsbaine, James Diaz, Remmy Honeyman, Jack Avatar, and K.P. Avatar. I'm running a weekly tour event to build up skills and momentum by having three matches a card, all against local talent. Each month will be capped off with reoccurring monthly event title "Championsip Struggle" where the BWF Mid-West Championship will be defended. The first champion is Ernest Youngman, who beat Jack Avatar in the finals of a tournament to crown the champ.
  6. I definitely agree. Especially the politics one. Realistically the booker would be notified if this was something coming up for a worker. A better system would be structured like MMA fights. They give a warning that they will be gone, they start campaigning, if they win they stay gone for longer, and if they lose they come back.
  7. I'm currently at 117 on the roster. I have a list of people I want to job and cut. I keep putting off the cutting part, and sometimes the jobbing part. Angles see their momentum stay high, which helps with ratings when putting them against my less experienced roster members. It's a vicious cycle, and I keep signing more. Kurt Angle just came back from a stint in politics and so far I'm out-bidding WWE for him.
  8. I've had plans to introduce them since I started my main save, but they have been kept on the back burner every time. I have a large enough roster and stables, but I always worried about hurting my other divisions, and I already feel like I have too many titles. For example, my tag division has world and TV titles, on top of there being a women's tag division I just started. ROH just started losing lots of money when they went up to medium size, and I already know I won't let them go out of business completely. They get a set of trios at some point... maybe a brand split or player-booked dev company
  9. Ruthless Agression 2004 probably scratches my itch the best for time period. A lot of Attitude Era guys are still in decent shape and the indie scene is thriving with lots of good talent, and no big companies to really compete with when it comes to signing them. My only issue is a lot of the workers were transferred from later mods and their bios and skills (especially experience) weren't adjusted to 2004. You'll have rookies debut with 40 xp, while someone who has been wrestling for years will have 15. If you can get past that or just edit them then it's a great time period. I'm currently in 2007. Otherwise anything by Fleisch is amazing As an addition to how insane Zero's progress with his games are. I started my 2004 save when his 1985 save was still in the 80's. He has since made it to 2006 and I just got to 2007. He booked 20 years of two companies in the time it took me to do 3 years with 1 company lol

  11. Someone asked a question and that is the way I prefer to do it to keep my roster organized with their brands while booking a show. Thanks though.

CW United States Women's Title- Becky Lynch. She beat Aja Kong at CW:US Chapter 1: Arrival in March 2005.
  13. That's hard coded into the game I believe. It wouldn't be possible to mod it out.
  14. While booking your show, go to your roster and click on the worker you want to book. If you click on his name in the roster profile, it will open a window that shows his alter egos, his manager, his division, and his brand. If you change the brand to the unbranded or current brand you can then book him. After the show just go back to the same screen and change him to the original brand.
