wphill Posted June 9, 2020 Share Posted June 9, 2020 Is anybody else having an issue where the language seems to be set wrong for the game? For example, I am using a modern day mod and the profile for Booker T should say 'he's an 11 time WCW Tag Team Champion' but it actually says something like 'hea£tms an 11 time WCW Tag Team Champion'. Something seems wrong with the language setting in the game, I have both English and American languages installed but I a still have this problem. Dross Posted June 9, 2020 Share Posted June 9, 2020 It doesn't sound like a language problem in the narrower sense, but more like a character encoding problem (UTF-8, ISO...). What operating system are you using and what is your native language setting? I'm on Windows 10. My default language is English (UK) but I also have English (US) as a secondary language. If so, could you list some of the errors (like ea£tm instead of ' ) I've just had a flick through the Cornellverse and there doesn't seem to be any issues so i'm assuming it must be the mod i'm using? I just checked the locations mod I also downloaded and it has done the exact same thing to it. EDIT: I figured it out, there is a setting in Windows that is a BETA to put everything in a certain uni-code. I un-ticked the setting and now it's back to normal.
