Heath Slater, former West Virginia Heavyweight Champion, stands in the ring.</p><p>

"I've been doing a lot of thought on what to do after losing my title."</p><p>

"You've always known me as the One Man Band, but I think it's time I put myself together a new trio."</p><p>

"The THREE MAN BAND IS BACK, BABAYYYYYYYYYY"</p><p>

"I'll be on the lookout for potential new members all night, and once I put us all together, we're gonna rock this damn ring, baby!"</p><p>

<strong>Kahagas</strong> defeats The Butcher</p><p>

The Tokyo Monster gets the best of the Butcher in this match. Kahagas uses his experience and technical ability to outclass the larger man.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 23</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steve Manders</strong> defeats Tex Ferguson</p><p>

This match was incredibly short. Tex and Karl underestimated Cowboy Steve Manders, after their triumph over the other rookies, Austin Gunn and Ricky Starks. Tex went to hit a big boot on Steve. Steve dodged the move, hit the ropes, and came back to blast Tex with a lariat straight from hell for the win.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 19</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="9NfCEh1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9NfCEh1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="bnZxBVi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bnZxBVi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="KNRJHkl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KNRJHkl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Karl and Tex are shocked, and mad as hell. They try to beat up the cowboy, but he fights them off and stands tall.</p><p>

<strong>The Quotation Mark</strong> defeats Erick Rowan</p><p>

Jocephus was scheduled for this match. He was nowhere to be seen. In his place comes the masked man only identified by the " on his mask. The Quotation Mark has arrived in WVPW. He hits Erick Rowan with a varied offense of karate, err... KARATAYYY moves. Rowan tries to sick his raccoon on The Quotation Mark to get the advantage. The Quotation Mark catches the raccoon Erick threw, and rocks it to sleep. Do this man's abilities know any limits?</p><p>

The Quotation Mark hits a massive chop to the head for the win.</p><p>

<strong>Ricky Starks</strong> defeats Austin Gunn <em>to retain the Blueridge Championship</em></p><p>

A fantastic showing for the ability of these two young men. The match is all over the place, with fast paced maneuvers from Starks, and fantastic brawling from Gunn. All until Gunn gets the upper hand. With Gunn standing over him, Starks, sitting in the corner, grabs his gold chain again, busting Gunn right in the face with it, knocking him out cold. The referee, miraculously, didn't see this. Ricky resorts to cheating once again to retain his title.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 37</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="BrljjwO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BrljjwO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Starks grabs the mic. He claims he alone is the future of WVPW, and no one his age can do it like him. He will do whatever it takes to keep this title and cement his legacy.</p><p>

<strong>The Von Erichs</strong> defeat The Lords of The Ring <em>to retain the West Virginia Tag Team Championships</em></p><p>

What the? That's the dominant OVW tag team, Lords of The Ring! Rob Conway and Nick Dinsmore! They put up a good fight but eventually fall to the Von Erichs. For a team who hasn't been together in over a decade, they look good as new.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 42</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="x7wEkta.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/x7wEkta.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Lilv1Bb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Lilv1Bb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="yujOBEw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/yujOBEw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="MrRip86.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MrRip86.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<strong>The Bayou Boys</strong> defeat Corporate Inc</p><p>

This falls count anywhere match truly did go anywhere and everywhere. This 15 minute match was in the ring for about 1 of those minutes. </p><p>

Corporate Inc take the fight to the parking lot immediately, smashing Murdock and ZZ by slamming car doors into them. The cars were of course "luxury" vehicles. From the year 2000. From the used car lot down the road. Murdock fights out, regaining control, bringing the fight across the street to a nearby field next to a lake. ZZ hits a tackle onto Isaacs, knocking him down into a cow patty. Murdock rushes after Braddox to do the same. Braddox, not looking where he's going, instead watching the man chasing him, runs face first into a cow. Murdock takes advantage while both are down, and gets on a tractor and starts it up. He chases Corporate Inc down, into the lake. Little did they know, ZZ's gator was lying in wait. </p><p>

<img alt="FbIMzk6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FbIMzk6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

The gator slaps the men with his tail, knocking them down. He then proceeds to sit on top of them, his massive body keeping them from getting up. ZZ and Trevor each put a foot on one of the men, and the referee counts the 3.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 44</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Joe Hennig</strong> defeats Chad Gable <em>to retain the West Virginia Heavyweight Championship</em></p><p>

Hennig drives in once again in his limousine, and puts on a grand show of an entrance. Gable, the lovely little man he is, comes in through the crowd waving the flag he so proudly represented.</p><p>

The match is hard fought, between the two most technically sound wrestlers in WVPW. Hennig realizes though, his skills are outclassed by Gable. He still has one advantage, he's a lot bigger. He simply puts his hand on Gable's head, and Gable can't reach him. A kick to Gable's chest, and a perfect-plex later, and Gable's out for the count.</p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:12px;">WVPW: King of the Mountains</span></strong></p><p>

Held in West Virginia, Sunday, Week 2 July 2021</p><p>

In front of 381 people</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: </strong></p><p>

<strong>Kotto Brazil</strong> defeats Facade - <strong>Rating: 37</strong></p><p>

<strong>The Thunder Express</strong> defeat The Batiri - <strong>Rating: 33</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Main Card:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="qKpzdwL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qKpzdwL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Rob Conway starts the show in the ring. He announced he signed a deal for WVPW for more than just the tag team invitational. </p><p>

"I'm better off on my own, anyway."</p><p>

"I'm one of the most decorated wrestlers in the world, in fact, I'm a former NWA World's Heavyweight Champion. And as it turns out, the man I won it from is in this very company."</p><p>

"So what do you say, Kahagas? Why don't you come out here so I can get an easy win, for old times sake?"</p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="miKIWGD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/miKIWGD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Kahagas enters the arena, furious. He signifes he accepts Conway's challenge by getting into the ring and stripping down to his ring attire. </p><p>

<strong>Rating: 31</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="qKpzdwL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qKpzdwL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="miKIWGD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/miKIWGD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<strong>Rob Conway</strong> defeats Kahagas <em>by DQ</em></p><p>

This is a different side of Kahagas, one we haven't seen in WVPW thus far. Conway brought out a side of him that no opponent before, not even Joe Hennig, has awakened. Kahagas, in fact, is so mad, he gets Conway down in the corner, and doesn't stop kicking, brutalizing the former world champ. He Stomps a mudhole in the man, opening up a number of cuts all over him. Despite the referee's best efforts, Kahagas keeps going. Conway wins by DQ. </p><p>

<strong>Rating: 32</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="KNRJHkl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KNRJHkl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9NfCEh1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9NfCEh1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<strong>Karl Anderson</strong> defeats Steve Manders</p><p>

Anderson did not come into this match with the intention of a fair fight. He wanted revenge for his partner. During the match, Tex Ferguson distracts the referee, allowing a quick chair shot from Anderson for the win.</p><p>

After the match, Anderson and Tex teach Manders a lesson in respect, by taking turns hitting brutal chair shots to the young Cowboy's back.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 41</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Quotation Mark</strong> defeats Royce Isaacs</p><p>

The Quotation Mark's karatay skills are unmatched. Despite Isaacs and Braddox's best efforts to cheat their way through this match, they are always foiled by a swift chop from the seemingly unbeatable Quotation Mark.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 40</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="u9gwnmW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/u9gwnmW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BiGs0t0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BiGs0t0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="REQJhsk.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/REQJhsk.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="DUF1w0N.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DUF1w0N.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<strong>Heath Slater and The Butcher</strong> defeat The Dawson Brothers</p><p>

As the Dawsons sit in the ring awaiting their opponents, Heath Slater takes the stage. </p><p>

"The One Man Band is alone no more, babayyyyyY!"</p><p>

Out comes the Butcher, guitar in hand, and they perform an original song about how the Dawsons are going down.</p><p>

The predictions in the song come true, as the power of the Butcher, combined with the experience and explosive offense of Slater secure the win.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 30</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="u9gwnmW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/u9gwnmW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BiGs0t0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BiGs0t0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

The Butcher grabs his guitar once again. Slater lets us all know, through his beautiful musical stylings, the following:</p><p>

"Slater and Butcher, together at last"</p><p>

"Rockin' new band, rising up fast"</p><p>

"Come on y'all people, get on your feet"</p><p>

"'Cause next week, Slater's band will be complete!"</p><p>

The duo rocks off stage. We never said they were a good band.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 35</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Austin Gunn</strong> defeats Erick Rowan</p><p>

Ricky Starks sits ringside for this match, popcorn in hand. He's going to enjoy seeing his current rival, Austin Gunn, squashed by big Erick.</p><p>

Erick starts strong, dominating his inexperienced opponent. </p><p>

Starks pets the raccoon at ringside.</p><p>

Gunn dodges a flying tackle from Rowan, taking advantage to set him up for a Fame-ass-er for the win.</p><p>

Gunn goes over to the side of the ring where Starks is sat, before slapping the popcorn up into his face, before laughing heartily, running away.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 29</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chad Gable</strong> defeats Tunku Amir</p><p>

Straight forward, technical contest, with Gable coming out on top.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 48</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Bayou Boys</strong> defeat The Von Erichs <em>to win the West Virginia Tag Team Championships</em></p><p>

Who will answer the open challenge this week?</p><p>

Wow! It's none other than WVPW's own Bayou Boys, fresh off a massive win last month.</p><p>

The Von Erichs welcome the challenge. ZZ Loupe starts things off in the ring, and he's seemingly learned a thing or two from Trevor. He hits such complicated moves as: Suplex, Headlock, and Bodyslam. This is a major step up from his typical limited offense of mostly punches and kicks.</p><p>

Trevor comes in and the action heats up. He uses his brute force to knock both Von Erichs off their feet. He tags in ZZ and lays the Von Erichs next to each other.</p><p>

ZZ climbs to the top rope, and hits a massive Toad Splash for the win!</p><p>

The Bayou Boys have done it, they're West Virginia Tag Team Champions!</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 47</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="CGogyyd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CGogyyd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="q26U2z0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/q26U2z0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<strong>Joe Hennig</strong> defeats Eddie Kingston <em>in a No DQ match to retain the West Virginia Heavyweight Championship</em></p><p>

This match was a brutal brawl, Kingston and Hennig went all out. Kingston came to WVPW to fight, and that's just what he did. Hennig retained the title, but not before being put through hell. Both men took multiple major hits, including Kingston being put through a table, and Hennig being slammed into the barricade.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: 44[/b</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

After the match, Joe Hennig sits in the ring, exhausted after winning his title. Someone's coming down from the stage, sprinting towards Hennig... It's RON KILLINGS! He rolls Hennig up for a pin, counting the 1...2....3... himself, and holding up the title with joy! </strong></p><p><strong>

A group of referees rushes out and explains to Killings that isn't the way things work here, and grab the title back from him.</strong></p><p><strong>

<strong>Austin Gunn</strong> defeats Ricky Starks <em>to win the Blueridge Championship</em></p><p>

These two men have grown to absolutely despise each other in the last few months, and it all comes down to this. Round two, for the gold. Gunn gets the early advantage, showing off his technical skills with a number of strong suplexes out of the gate. Starks brings it back his way with some fast paced offense, only to get caught by a fame-ass-er out of nowhere! Austin Gunn has won it! The new Blueridge Champion!</p><p>

<strong>Kotto Brazil</strong> defeats Karl Anderson</p><p>

Anderson had control most of the match, despite Kotto getting some advanced, technical holds in, wearing down Anderson's limbs. Anderson is locked into a submission hold, on the verge of tapping, before Christine Bui distracts the referee, hoping to allow Tex Ferguson to come in and break the hold. Steve Manders, out of nowhere, hits Ferguson with a lariat, securing the win via submission for Kotto Brazil.</p><p>

WVPW: On Tour

Sunday, Week 3 August 2021

Acworth, Georgia - Shoney's

Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, and Shoney Bear welcome us to the Acworth Shoney's. They are quickly interrupted by Corporate Inc. Corporate Inc says what's best for business is free breakfast, so they're challenging the owners to a match. Rick Steiner has recently retired from in-ring action, so Shoney Bear volunteers to take his place in the main event.

The Butcher defeats Bin Wang - 26

Kahagas defeats Eddie Graves - 32

Austin Gunn defeats Mike Bennett to retain the Blueridge Championship - 23

Corporate Inc defeat Scott Steiner and Shoney Bear in a breakfast on a pole match

Rick Steiner carefully places the plate of breakfast on the pole. It's a delicious spread, containing sausage patties, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a stack of three pancakes. Corporate Inc mean business here. They want that free breakfast, and they want to put this Shoney's out of business by giving all 94 people in attendance free breakfast, too.

Shoney Bear immediately makes a mad dash for the pole, knowing how valuable that prize is. Royce Isaacs stops him dead in his tracks, grabbing him off the top rope, and slamming him through the buffet table that was sitting ringside.

Scott Steiner then bashes Royce from behind, using his brute strength to try to shake the breakfast off the pole while he is down. This is to no avail. The syrup from the pancakes was too sticky, and it won't come down without climbing up to it.

Meanwhile, Mad Braddox has slipped away to the kitchen. He grabs a huge platter of steaming hot scrambled eggs, and hits Steiner right over the head with it.

Steiner, covered in eggs, throws Braddox out of the ring onto another table, where some unfortunate patrons were eating.

Shoney Bear comes back into the ring, climbs on Steiner's shoulders, and tries to grab the breakfast. Isaacs is back up, however, kicking Steiner where the sun doesn't shine, then proceeds to attack Shoney Bear with the platter the eggs were once on.

Isaacs piles the unconscious Shoney Bear onto Steiner, climbs onto them, and retrieves the breakfast platter. Free breakfast for all!

WVPW: Forest Fest

Held in West Virginia, Sunday, Week 2 September 2021

In front of 573 people

ASEgv7X.jpg9NfCEh1.jpgKNRJHkl.jpgbnZxBVi.jpg

Kotto Brazil & Steve Manders defeat Karl Anderson and Tex Ferguson

On the surface, Kotto and Steve don't have much in common. But they're both young, upcoming stars who have been looked down upon by Karl & Tex. Brazil starts out hot, just to be double teamed and becomes desperate for a tag. Manders gets the hot tag, hits some massive lariats on Anderson and Ferguson, giving Kotto time to recover. Kotto tags back in, locks in a triangle choke for the win over the vastly experienced duo

Ricky Starks defeats Austin Gunn to become a 2 time Blueridge Champion

Austin Gunn looks to bring the Blueridge title with him to AEW, having signed an exclusive deal there. Ricky Starks won't let his blood rival have the satisfaction. A Starks throw sends Gunn flying straight into the referee. Starks goes for his chain, the only thing that kept the title in his hands so many times. He swings, and misses. Gunn gets some punches off to Starks, but Starks pulls through with the Buster Keaton for the win, entirely clean.

After the match, Austin Gunn shows his respect by offering a handshake. Starks secures his heel status by faking him out, instead slicking his hair back, and walking out of the ring with the title rightfully deserved in his hands

Jake Roberts is seen in the crowd once again tonight. He sits, with his snake on his shoulder, enjoying the festivities. His snake keeps eyeing Erick Rowan's raccoon, who is wandering the merch tables and nearby garbage cans.

Jake, however, is eyeing the ring. Seeking out talent. Perhaps Ricky Starks caught his eye.

Corporate Inc defeat The Quotation Mark and Anthony Bennett

The KARATAYYY master from Mongrovia partners with one of WVPW's top youth talents. Anthony Bennett, noted for his incredibly tall hair, has a strong showing against tough talent Corporate Inc. Royce Isaacs is in the ring with the Quotation Mark in a headlock. Anthony, the incredible tag partner he is, comes in to break it up. Mad Braddox comes in, with a mouthful of pure, 100% gold mist, spraying it in the eyes of the Quotation Mark! The master of Karatayy is blinded! He chops wildly, releasing a chop so powerful that his partner's hair is chopped almost clear off! The hair seems to have been Bennett's source of power, as he faints once it is gone. The Quotation Mark, blinded, is hit by a double team move, and pinned by his corporatist foes.

Kahagas defeats Rob Conway in a No DQ match

Rob Conway enters the ring, cocky, with a plan in mind. But was the plan enough to defeat the Tokyo Monster? No. Kahagas was back to his NWA Triple Crown winning self in this match. A monster among men. Conway's plan was to bash Kahagas with one clean chair shot, right across the head. Kahagas was not effected by this in the slightest. The pure steel of the chair bashed against his head, and he did not so much as flinch. Kahagas responds by smacking Conway repeatedly with his signature Kendo Stick, winning the match in terrifying fashion

After the match, Kahagas plugs his signature Tokyo Monster CBD oil. Available at the merch stand tonight.

The Bayou Boys defeat The Von Erichs

The Von Erichs are everything you could want in a tag team. Young, talented, always in-sync, born into the business, and passionate about their work. The Bayou Boys are two big old country boys.

The Bayou Boys, however, are the champions of the entire state, and they're out to prove it tonight, against the men they won the belt from. The Von Erichs get the upper hand early in this face vs face battle. Trevor is isolated in the ring, as The Von Erichs are double teaming the most experienced worker in WVPW. He hits a double suplex, dumping both men out of the ring, and he falls out with them. ZZ knows he has to take action to retain the gold. He climbs to the top rope, blows a kiss to his beautiful, perfect 10 of a girlfriend in Salina De La Renta, and hits a MASSIVE TOAD SPLASH to the outside!

He connects, throws the men back into the ring, and sets up Trevor for the win!

Salina De La Renta, and the alligator, come to the ring to celebrate the victory. ZZ picks up the alligator and gives him a big old hug. Salina looks on, somewhat jealous of the beautiful gator.

3MB defeats Joe Hennig, Chad Gable, and Ron Killings

The band is tuning up tonight, as they take on 3 of the top talents in WVPW in our Forest Fest main event.

Ron Killings is in the ring against the Butcher. But little did the Butcher know, the two were not alone. Little Jimmy hits a spear onto the Butcher, knocking him straight to the floor, in pain! Killings tries to capitalize, with a leg drop, only to be brutally beaten by KTB. KTB is obsessed with 2 things now. His obsession with the gold continues, but is now accompanied by a love for the band, and a strict passion for protecting his teammates. KTB stomps a mudhole into little jimmy in the corner.

Joe Hennig tags in, after Killings comes to the corner during the Jimmy beating. Hennig hits the Perfect-Plex onto KTB, hits another onto Butcher, only to be smashed by the Smash Hit DDT from Slater!

Both legal men, KTB and Hennig, are down in the ring!

Both crawl to their corners, tagging in Butcher, and Gable.

Gable gets the upper hand, suplexing the massive Butcher with ease, locking in holds the casual fan has never heard of, and that the hardcore fan only pretends to know. But the Butcher's size advantage comes into play, as he starts throwing his weight around. He whips Gable into his own corner, where Killings tags in.

Butcher tags in Slater, knowing the end is near.

Butcher, Slater, and KTB enter the ring, surrounding the only man left standing on the other team.

Butcher hits a kick to Killing's gut, then a massive powerbomb.

KTB follows with a jumping stop to his chest.

The two big men then hold their leader, Slater, high above their heads. Slater stands in their hands, one foot being held by each man. He takes a bow, and hits the grand finale. A massive elbow drop from all the way up in the air.

3MB wins, and celebrates with their new single. Forest Fest Champs.

Butcher takes his place on guitar, KTB on drums, Slater on mic.

"YEAHHHHHHHHHH BABAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Y'ALL BETTER BELIEVE

SLATER AND THE BAND AIN'T EVER GONNA LEAVE

BEAT THE CHAMP, WE'RE STANDING TALL

3MB ARE BETTER THAN THEM ALL

WINNERS OF THE MAIN EVENT OF FOREST FEST

SLATER, BUTCHER, KTB, THE FOREST'S BEST"

Hennig comes in from behind, chair in hand. This is a man not used to losing, especially as champion. This arrogant group deserves nothing but pain for the embarrassment they caused him. He viciously attacks 3MB, and each one of them is streaming blood by the time the lights dim. Hennig looks like an absolute madman, covered in flows of blood from an entire stable. A defeated man, with revenge on his mind. He isn't through. He turns his attention to Gable and Killings. They're the reason he lost. They need to bleed too. They do.

Ron Killings took to social media this week to announce his upcoming retirement. We can only expect 3 more shows from him before he is gone. Balloons adorned the ring to celebrate his incredible career. Kahagas, however, could not care less about this man's career. He came out with his signature kendo stick, slashed the balloons, popping them all, before laying out Killings before the match. He made quick work during the match due to his foreign object's lingering effects.

The triple threat for the Blueridge title is up next. The 3 competitors stand in the ring, ready to go, until Karl and Tex, who have heat with all 3 men, come out in hopes of ruining the match.

Before the men can get to the ring, someone comes rushing out to stop them! It's AJ Styles!

RXePA62.jpg

He stands in front of Karl & Tex, telling them to stop, grabbing a microphone.

"Boys, Boys!"

"Stop this nonsense!"

"What business do you have wrecking this title match?"

"I thought you were called the GOOD Brothers!"

"Not the Bad Brothers!"

"Time to start acting like it!"

Karl & Tex nod their head in agreement, seemingly having a change in heart from AJ's words. They continue to the ring, only to shake the hands of the 3 competitors to apologize for what they wanted to do.

The future of WVPW was on display here tonight. It was a major back and forth, with all three men being on top for much of the match. Ricky Starks hit a flying elbow onto a table on the outside to Manders. Once Starks recovered, he came back into the ring, where Kotto was waiting with a massive flying elbow, which he followed up with a triangle choke! Ricky is on the verge of tapping, desperately reaching for the ropes, when Manders comes in, picks up the both of them at the same time, submission hold still intact, and powerbombs them to the mat! A big, beefy brawl if there ever was one. The Butcher goes toe to toe with Trevor Murdock. Butcher gets the advantage, and goes to town on Trevor, before Trevor hits a desperation suplex. Trevor crawls over for the hot tag, and ZZ has victory in his sights. He gives a quick kiss to his girlfriend, Salina De La Renta, who has been holding the titles. ZZ comes in, but is tripped by the Butcher on his way to knock down KTB off the apron! KTB hits a massive right hand as soon as ZZ gets up, knocking him silly, and The Butcher slams him to the mat for the pin! The Butcher and KTB are the tag champs! Salina is furious! ZZ is shocked! Heath Slater defeats Joe Hennig to become a 2-time West Virginia Heavyweight Champion

Hennig and Slater are becoming one of the classic WVPW rivalries. The men are no strangers at this point, but Slater is now willing to play dirty on the same level that Hennig does.

Both men start in the ring, with some standard chain wrestling. Neither can get the advantage, and both simultaneously drop to the outside to regroup themselves. They both grab weapons. Slater grabbing a chair, Hennig grabbing the ring bell. This, however, is a standard match. DQs are in effect. The referee tries to stop them, to no avail. The men bash each other with their weapons simultaneously. In the interests of the crowd, who loves it, the referee grabs his mic, and declares the match a No-DQ match.

Twisted smiles come over both men's faces. Slater sets up a table, leaned against the corner. Hennig catches him from behind, bashing him with the title. Hennig throws Slater through the table he set up.

Slater revives, hitting Hennig with a low-blow. Slater grabs the title he built, and bashes Hennig over the head with it, repeatedly. Hennig rolls out of the ring to avoid the punishment. He grabs a ladder, and hits Slater with it.

Hennig sets up the ladder in the ring, then goes to get Slater. He grabs Slater, hits the perfect-plex, then lays the title across his prone waist.

Hennig climbs the ladder, gearing up for a huge dive onto Slater. Slater moves at the last minute!

Hennig crashes into the ring from 10 feet up!

Slater tosses the title at Hennig's face, and hits a superkick onto the title, smashing the gold deep into Hennig's flesh! Hennig drops to the mat, out cold and bleeding. Slater gets the pin. He is now a 2 time champion, and what a way to win it.

KTB and The Butcher come out to celebrate their leader. All three men have won their gold tonight. 3MB has arrived, and WVPW needs to watch out.

Commence the air guitar.
