Chairman and CEO of Dream Inc.

Chairman and CEO of Reverie Inc.

I love wrestling, and buying the USPW was the fulfillment of a life long dream. I've gotten a long way in business though by being smart and delegating properly. Despite being a huge fan, I don't pretend to know anything about how to run a wrestling promotion. I've been really hands off with the product and I've just been an observer like everyone else. There was
one
time where I was more hands on. A while back there was a segment in which Steve Frehley bloodied Nicky Champion pretty badly. It wasn't a bad spot, per se. It was exciting and compelling... but it generated a lot of complaints. This is a family company and a family show. Grandparents watch it with their grandkids to show them how wrestling
used to be...

In any case, I felt I had to act. Robbie Sanchez was the head of the creative committee (I can't use terms like booker! Insider terms make me seem silly, like I'm a part of the business, and I'm not!) and the responsibility rested with him. We made a change and put Paul Parsons in charge, and Paul has done a good job. That being said, Robbie is one of the premiere creative talents in the world. It rubbed a lot of people the wrong way that we ended up taking the creative direction of the show from him. It's been long enough, and I think it's time to correct my mistake. I've spoken to Paul and he's more than willing to give control of the creative side of things back to Sanchez. He'll still have a say, of course, as will the other creative talents like Belle Bryden and Chris Caulfield who we just hired as a road agent.

Robbie helped propel this organization to dizzying heights and I have every confidence that he'll keep us at the top. With his creative vision, and the sizable financial investment I've made in the future of the company, we'll be the top promotion in the world for years to come!

USPW's New Performance Center Is Finally Complete!

Fh7YdU0.jpg?1

After a year and a whopping $20,000,000 the USPW has finally unveiled The American Wrestling Academy in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. The state of the art facility will house five training rings, world class medical services, elite level athletic training and classrooms to teach trainees everything they need to know about how to work in the USPW style. With fresh new talent being the key to maintaining success in the world of wrestling, this new center is expected to be a key towards achieving those goals.

This center isn't just for greenhorns though. Members of the USPW team who are in need of a little extra training are invited to come by and make use of the amenities. Word is Nicky Champion and Steve Frehley are among the first attendees to utilize the facility. A young new class is being formed from around the world and the hope is that the center can generate an annual group of graduates every February.

Prediction Contest!

We're seeking fan input! Every week we'll post the planned matches for next Wednesday's episode of American Wrestling and each month, the fan with the most matches correctly guessed will get a prize! Let's get started!

"Pariah" Angela Bruin
has been white hot since coming to USPW! The former FBI Special Agent didn't come to USPW to make friends and that's been especially clear during her interactions with
Jillian Jarvis!
The seasoned veteran has taken a hard nosed, "take no prisoners" approach to her challengers since joining the company so expect more of the same when she clashes with "Pariah" on Wednesday!

Kirk "The Marksman" Jameson
and his glamorous valet Maryam Vega have been looking to gain some traction since coming to United States Pro Wrestling but they'll have an uphill climb against former champion
Enygma
this week!

The Cold Warriors
have been making life miserable lately for the up and coming
Texas Express
. On Wednesday the two teams will clash in a tag team bout! Will the veteran Soviets continue to mess with Texas on Wednesday?

The "Traskmaster" Anthony Trask
will face
USPW National Champion Roger Cage
in a non-title match! This episode marks Trask's two year anniversary here in USPW. Will he celebrate by taking down the champ? The Olympus Order has been harassing Cage lately! Will "Smooth" slide on by?

Brandon "Bulldozer" Smith
and
Trent Shafer
are two of the hottest workers in the company. Now they've drawn each other's attention. On Wednesday two rising stars are going to collide, but who will prevail?

In a massive clash of wrestling star power, the Main Event will feature
USPW World Champion Rich Money
teaming with
Steve "The Dark Destroyer" Frehley
as they do battle with
Running Wolf
and
Nicky Champion!
Money's made no secret that he thinks Running Wolf is a challenger who isn't worthy of a title shot! Wolf aims to make him eat those words and challenge for the Championship at Stars, Stripes and Slams! Meanwhile, the rivalry between Champion and Frehley is unlike anything we've ever encountered in USPW! Despite his undisputed status as the face of the company, Champion has
never
managed to pin "The Dark Destroyer" cleanly. Champion hopes to wipe out that mark on his otherwise spotless record this month on Stars, Stripes and Slams!

Tune in this Wednesday, live on Reverie to stay up to date on all the wrestling action!

Building the Committee

JduXoAU.jpg

lFdQMGM.jpg

Robbie Sanchez

USPW, Head Referee

USPW, VP of Talent Relations

USPW, Chief Wrestling Officer (Booker)

I'm still not sure about the "Chief Wrestling Officer" title, but hell, we're at least trying to keep the appearance of kayfabe. Can't very well just call a guy the booker out in public. We don't even particularly want people to know I have a lot of authority here. Might make it hard to take a bump or have someone get physical with me, anyway that's neither here nor there.

I just had a talk with Paul "Rich Money" Parsons and while he's not thrilled to be giving the book back up, I think he knew it was a temporary deal. He'll make a fine booker someday, and Cage and Strong know their way around a show too... but it's just better not to have the boys in charge of the book. Even the most upright guy with the best of intentions might book their friends a little more strongly and themselves even more so... so while I'll certainly make sure my door is always open to him, I didn't really see him as an official part of the committee. Here's what I've got:

YT1fsnJ.jpg

Belle Bryden

USPW Color Commentator

Belle is one of the best women's wrestlers in history. She worked her butt off to get to the top of the best women's divisions in American wrestling and now she's worked her butt off to become one of the best color commentators in the business. She excels in her role as a peacekeeper between Brock Cornish and Emily McQueen at the announcer's desk. She's got a keen eye for the creative side of things, and I'm glad to officially make her part of the team.

pcOsVdn.jpg

Chris Caulfield

USPW Road Agent

One of the first calls I made when I got the job back was to Chris. "The Hardcore American" was never a big star during his career, but he was a damn fine hand and a master of in-ring psychology. In a land of lumbering brutes, he could drag about anyone to a passable match. About 10 years ago, his feud with Bruce the Giant was one of my favorite programs we've ever done. In any case, Chris could probably be a head booker somewhere, or at the very least work with his buddy Phil Vibert, but he's happy to be here, cutting his teeth as my right hand man.

fdpGE8E.jpg

Ivan "Corporal Doom" Rhianoff

USPW, Road Agent

Doom is probably the best road agent we have (at least until Chris came along anyway. He's been with the company since the beginning, since before Strong ever came back, first as a worker (where he won multiple titles including the World Championship Belt) and then as an agent and on screen authority figure. He's got a career spanning 6 decades now and he's got a hell of a lot of knowledge about the business to pass on to these kids.

N1Z9e6l.jpg

Danny Jillefski

USPW, Former Owner

USPW, Broadcaster and Interviewer

A lot of people think Nicky Champion is "Mr. USPW" and they're right to an extent, but I'd give the title to Danny. He built this place and when he realized he needed someone else to help it reach its potential he sold to Sam Strong and just continued behind the desk as the primary announcer. When he realized he was getting up there in years he recruited Brock Cornish and developed him as a successor. He's selfless, and cares only about making this company the best it can be. A pro through and through, he's an example to the boys that we do what's best for the team around here. It doesn't hurt that he's a smart booker who has a lot of insight about how to make the most of everyone.

Right now, USPW is on the top of the wrestling world, but we're never going to step off the gas. With the five of us, we're going to make sure we keep USPW at the top. There's plans in place to make a new development territory in addition to the massive Performance Center that's been installed. Belle even came up with the idea to do a
on the website to attract fans!

Pariah vs Jillian Jarvis

Comments: I think this still builds toward Stars, Stripes And Slams. Pariah wins by Rage DQ when Jarvis refuses to stop attacking her.

Kirk Jameson vs Enygma

Comments: This would be a high profile win for the Marksman but he just doesn't have enough pop to go over the man in the green mask.

The Cold Warriors vs The Texas Express

Comments: I can't have all the heels losing, can I? Cold Warriors take this one and then give it back at Stars, Stripes And Slams.

Anthony Trask vs Roger Cage

Comments: One of the closest matches so far. The USPW National Champion squeaks by as we see an attack by The Olympus Order.

Brandon Smith vs Trent Shafer

Comments: A double pinfall between the two would continue this feud.

Rich Money and Steve Frehley vs Running Wolf and Nicky Champion

Comments: But Money and Frehley get their heat back after the match.

Looking forward to seeing what you do this with one, DirigoJoe! Always interested in another USPW diary. Oh and it's Jillefski, not Jillefsky. ;)

This is just an example of the Mandela effect! In my alternate universe there are small and subtle differences, like the Berenstein Bears!

Seriously though, you'd think I'd have played enough USPW to know the difference! Oops!

The referee shrugs and rings the bell to start the match. Smith sells the move like crazy and the match is underway. Whenever Bulldozer shakes off an attack and gets some fire, Shafer cuts him off with a knee strike that Smith sells like crazy. That pattern repeats itself for a bit, but the Bulldozer gets one more huge fire up. Trent is on the ropes and things look bad for the former National Champion. At the end of the match, Shafer avoids a big corner splash and pulls Smith into a ripcord knee strike that knocks Smith into next week. He's barely standing and Shafer hits him with Heart Burn for the pinfall victory!</span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Trent Shafer wins via Pinfall!</strong></span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong> </strong></span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">(Match Rating: 72)</span></strong></span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Shafer and Nightfall celebrate in the ring while Bulldozer stares at the lights and tries to regain his senses. Frehley gives him a stare down but shakes himself loose like a prize fighter and squares with Wolf. There's some back and forth, but Wolf looks good. When Money and Champion are in the ring together, they do their usual style of working together and it looks great, but Money avoids Wolf. Whenever Running Wolf is tagged in, Money rolls out of the ring or tags in Frehley. Champion does great work at looking annoyed at this cowardice. Eventually, there's a spot where Money used a poke in the eye to get the advantage on Champion and Wolf comes in for a hot tag! Money and Wolf are in the ring together and Wolf goes to town on Money. He's giving everything he's got! Wolf goes for a pinfall which Frehley breaks up, Champion and Frehley brawl and take it outside, while the referee is distracted by this fracas, Sterling Whitlock attacks! He cracks Wolf in the head with a heavy metal briefcase! Prediction Contest!

We're seeking fan input! Every week we'll post the planned matches for next Wednesday's episode of American Wrestling and each month, the fan with the most matches correctly guessed will get a prize! Let's get started!

Joss Thompson
is out to gain respect in the USPW! Tired of toiling away without the opportunities he feels entitled to, he cut a scathing promo on the old guard of the USPW last week including Enygma! This week he sets his sights on one of the most decorated champions in wrestling history
The Force!
Can Force stand up and defend his fellow legends on Wednesday night as he faces The Complete Package?

Last week
The Texas Express
. Picked up an upset win over The Cold Warriors! this week their competition doesn't let up as they face
Bad Intentions
! The Soviet Supermen are sure to be keeping a close eye on this one, but can Coop and Turk pull off another upset with the Sickle dangling over them?

The USPW Women's Division is heating up! Last week
Alicia Strong
interrupted a match to declare that she's the true champion! This week an uneasy alliance has been formed as Strong,
Jaime Quine
and
Jillian Jarvis
team up to take on
another
uneasy alliance! Opposing them will be
Pariah
, the former FBI agent who hasn't made any allies in USPW, and former champions
Melody
and
Sarah Marie
! Who will come out on top when the whole USPW Women's Division collides?

Trent Shafer
got the better of
Bulldozer Brandon Smith
last week, using some questionable tactics! This week, they'll face one another in a tag team match! Smith has already recruited
"Smooth" Roger Cage
leaving Shafer scrambling for an opponent! When the match is set on Wednesday, who will Shafer's mystery opponent be and will they be able to topple Smith and Cage?

Running Wolf
has been trying to get his hands on
Rich Money
for weeks, and he'll finally get his chance on Wednesday! Wolf will have Nicky Champion in his corner while Money brings Sterling Whitlock to his! Will Money's resources finally run out or will be pull another trick out of his sleeve?

Frustrated and wanting to face Champion one on one,
Steve Frehley
has nevertheless demanded a match for Wednesday! He claims he wants a warm up so he'll take on all challengers! Who will accept the challenge?

Tune in this Wednesday, live on Reverie to stay up to date on all the wrestling action!

Joss Thompson vs The Force

Comments: Joss is so good and The Force is so old.

Comments: The tag team division is solid but the best teams need pop more than anything and Texas Express takes another step to being recognizable.

Team Strong vs Team Pariah

Comments: Strong gets the pin but they need to cheat to pull off the win.

Brandon Smith and Roger Cage vs Trent Shafer and ???

Comments: This was a tough call and it might even end in a DQ draw but I think the faces get some momentum going. I'm thinking Zeus might be Shafer partner.

Running Wolf vs Rich Money

Comments: If Money offered to put him over Wolf might get the win but otherwise he's not there yet. His time will come but it's a little ways off for now.

Steve Frehley vs ???

Comments: Squash city

Comments on the Diary Overall: I like the start and presentation so far. Don't worry about people commenting. As mentioned earlier if you keep posting and seem to be enjoying yourself readers will follow. A lot of people read and don't comment too. Interested to see where you take this. USPW is in a unique spot with a lot of star power/talent/potential in the mid to lower card with no pop and a lot of older top of the card workers with pop and diminishing skills. With your position of power you can handle some mistakes too.

Thanks man! I've got some ideas about how to shore up the main event scene. Spoiler alert, there's not much help coming in the first 6 months. When I look at the contracts for SWF and TCW there's not a lot of guys whose deals are up. I have to build up the guys I have, and with a roster over 60, there's more than enough to work with.

Plus, there's Nicky Champion, the greatest wrestler who's ever lived!

I have only played a small amount with USPW but it seems the challenge is weeding out the ready to go stars that are lost on a bloated roster. Kirk is great, bulldozer, Shafer, cage and most of the women's division can all potentially main event shows someday. With Davis Wayne Newton, Fro Sure and Joffy Laine on the independent scene their are ready made guys just waiting to get over too. They really are a juggernaut in game.

Live on Reverie, from Clover Fields (14,000 in attendance) it's...

Running Wolf is backstage, getting interviewed by Lionel Greenwood.

Lionel Greenwood:
"Running Wolf, last week you were pinned by USPW Champion Rich Money, which..."

Running Wolf:
"I think everyone saw what happened, Lionel. Rich Money is a paper champion. He is no true warrior. He hides behind The Business, and needs to resort to assistance from his lackeys like Sterling Whitlock. Tonight however, I'll be able to get my hands on Money one on one.

Nicky Champion comes in from offscreen. He's fired up and bring in his trademark energy which is a stark contrast to Wolf's resolute, intene, stoicism.

Nicky Champion:
"That's right, Lionel! Rich Money stole the title from me, and now he keeps it by running from all challengers! The USPW fans deserve a fighting champion! Running Wolf is the champion these fans deserve!"

Lionel Greenwood:
"That's certainly food for thought, but the only way Rich Money would accept this match tonight is if it were a non-title match."

Nicky Champion:
"That figures! Rich knows that when he gets into the ring with Wolf for the belt, that he's in trouble!"

Running Wolf:
"When a true warrior does battle with one like Rich Money, the truth is laid bare. Tonight, when I get my hands on him, I'll show these fans truly who is deserving of the championship!"

The Force versus Joss Thompson

pR0z6HA.jpgXQuF36C.jpgGRP1T6R.jpg

The Force comes to the ring with his trademark energy which pops the crowd, and it contrasts with the calm, cool, confident energy Thompson brings when he walks down the aisle. Force comes out for an old school lockup and Thompson kicks him in the stomach. The Force no sells and looks pumped up beyond believe. He brings the energy to Thompson and beats on him for a little bit, but he runs out of steam fast and Thompson gains the upper hand. After taking some offense for the first few minutes, and after that it's all Thompson. He dominates and seems to effortlessly put Force away.

Joss Thompson wins via Pinfall!

GRP1T6R.jpgpR0z6HA.jpg

After picking up the victory, Thompson picks The Force back up... and then lands another Clean Cutter. He plays to the crowd and stomps Force in the head a couple times. He shouts that it's time to put The Force out to pasture! He goes outside of the ring and grabs the ring bell, but suddenly!

IO1Dxid.jpg

Enygma rappels from the rafters! Thompson smirks, and thinks better about getting back into the ring. He mouths "you're next" while pointing at the Mysterious One and makes a hasty retreat through the crowd.

The Texas Express versus Bad Intentions

HWXlMmR.jpgUC7Gn1a.jpgXQuF36C.jpgPQFxlzW.jpgZuvpeWt.jpg

To be honest, this match sort of sucked, but USPW doesn't get by on workrate. Two charismatic young studs (who'd be enormous compared to normal people) face off against two monsters who dwarf them. The Texas Express does their best to get some shine and connect with the fans using their charisma and Bad Intentions look big and nasty. In the end The Express hit a Dallas Drop on Bash Street and Turk Tenneman gets the pinfall victory!

The Texas Express win via Pinfall!

HWXlMmR.jpgUC7Gn1a.jpg

In what's becoming a trademark at this point, The Texas Express high five fans on the way up the ramp and dial the charisma up to 11. They're loud and celebrating and suddenly at the top of the ramp the Cold Warriors attack!!!

TVOpqUm.jpgWx31z2k.jpg

The veteran heels put the boots to the young up and comers. They completely blind sided them! They just fought a tough match! Now this? It looks hopeless, when a familiar wrestler's music hits!

6eBOwCz.jpg

James Justice springs into action throwing fists, elbows and kicks as he runs off The Cold Warriors who are happy to get to the back, the damage is already done! Justice picks up The Texas Express and checks in on them. "You're doing a bang up job here in USPW, dudes, and I know you're going to bring down those punks down at Stars, Stripes and Slams, bros!"

Zeus looks annoyed after watching Bad Intentions lose on a backstage monitor

Raven Nightfall:
"Bad time?"

Zeus:
"What do you two want with The Bronzed God?"

Raven Nightfall:
"We've got a little proposition for you."

Zeus raises an eyebrow lasciviously.

Trent Shafer:
"You want to get your hands on Cage, right?"

Zeus:
"Yes! Cage will pay for his hubris!"

Trent Shafer:
"Sure man, anyway, he's teaming with that musclehead Brandon Smith tonight, and I need a partner to take them on. You in?"

Zeus nods.

Raven Nightfall:
"Great. See you out there!"

Raven and Trent leave as Zeus stares into the middle distance, grinding his fist into his palm, smiling.

Pariah, Melody and Sarah Marie versus Alicia Strong, Jillian Jarvis and Jaime Quine

1lYZmhP.jpgB73UGNb.jpgVAs3AVO.jpgXQuF36C.jpgvhnwnS0.jpgG3b5c89.jpg376ACdG.jpg

By design in the booking, Pariah doesn't really have friends, so this match is positioned as one that was put together by the powers that be. Melody and Sara Marie are both incredibly sweet babyfaces and they're positioned on broadcast as the only ones who volunteered to be in this 6 woman tag. Sara and Melody are a little cautious of Pariah and similarly the heels don't particularly like each other, both Strong and Jarvis want Jaime's gold and Strong constantly makes the "title belt" motion over her waist. The match does a great job of letting each participant showcase their active stories. Jarvis and Pariah have heat, Strong and Melody are in a feud and Quine hates everyone else in the match. It's a meme, sure, but Alicia Strong IS the best female wrestler in the world and she scores a Strong Arm and a victory against Sara Marie.

Alicia Strong wins via Pinfall!

2aLFFtG.jpgvhnwnS0.jpg9BPofZW.jpg4Q6vuc6.jpg

Alicia comes through the curtain, greeted by the Muscle Monsters and Lionel Greenwood. He attempts to get a word as the Monsters hand Strong a towel and a bottle of water.

Lionel Greenwood:
"Alicia you looked imp..."

Alicia Strong:
"Shut your mouth. [He attempts to speak again, and she gives him a stern look. She grabs his mic and gestures for him to leave] Go on, shoo. And it's not Alicia, it's Ms Strong... [Directly to the camera] Time and time again I've proven that I am the greatest women's wrestler who has ever lived. Yeah, I looked impressive tonight. Put me in the ring, and watch me go, I will look impressive. Put me in there with any of the thousands of women who've laced up a pair of wrestling boots and I'm going to outclass all of them. And what are we doing here in USPW? The company MY father built? We've got Jaime Quine as champion while Jarvis, Melody, Sara Marie and this friendless weirdo, Pariah angling for MY championship? No. That belt belongs to me. It was made for me and sooner or later I WILL have it back."

Brandon "Bulldozer" Smith and Roger Cage versus Zeus and Trent Shafer (Accompanied by Raven Nightfall)

h0EqM1r.jpgL6RMzIl.jpgXQuF36C.jpgMSSKBRp.jpgfSHTDKi.jpg

The referee is careful to check Shafer this time... For the USPW, this is a pretty high workrate match. Shafer taunts Smith by pointing at his knee and tagging out when Smith comes in. Zeus and Cage carry the match due to this, but eventually Shafer and Smith are in the ring together. Smith's power is on display, but Shafer cuts him off with an eye rake and takes the advantage. Towards the end of the match, Zeus and Cage each get hot tags and Zeus ducks an attack by Cage before landing a surprise Thunder Bolt. He picks up the pin against the USPW National Champion, clean and in the middle of the ring!

Zeus wins via Pinfall!

Running Wolf (Accompanied by Nicky Champion) versus Rich Money (Accompanied by Sterling Whitlock)

ZPNLoyC.jpgXQuF36C.jpg96D9wsg.jpg

(OOC- I got bit by the damn chemistry bug. They have poor chemistry in game, which I changed in the editor but it was too late when it was show time and I'd already pre-booked the match so I couldn't reload an old save and make it a tag. Oh well!)

Wolf and Money both come down accompanied by their respective mentor and protege as the case may be. Champion is there for encouragement and to make sure there's no funny business, Whitlock is obviously there to make sure there
is
funny business. In any case, Rich Money is not the usual "chickenshit" heel. He's a light heavyweight. Broad shouldered, tough and chiseled. He's cocky because he's that good of a wrestler, and that's the psychology of this match. Even though Running Wolf has the distinct size advantage, Money is a veteran. He's smart, he knows how to work. Sure he takes shortcuts when he cam, but he's just a damn good wrestler. He's able to hold off Wolf and cut off some of his shine, but as the match drags on, Wolf has more stamina, he starts turning the tide and getting some babyface fire! When the tables turn in Wolf's favor, the rest of The Business make their way to ringside! Sterling Whitlock (holding his heavy briefcase), trips up Wolf as he's running the ropes. Champion goes to confront him and is cut off by The Business!

The referee sees the fracas about to take place outside and bans The Business from ringside! But as he speaks to them, Sterling Whitlock slips around to the other side of the ring, slides the briefcase in to Rich Money and Money uses it to dome Running Wolf! Money yells to the referee "Hey! Do your job!" and the ref turns around and drops to count the pin!

Rich Money wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 62)

96D9wsg.jpgvCRFqWH.jpgpQyHk0A.jpg

Im8T6jz.jpgZPNLoyC.jpg

Nicky Champion sees what's happened and bull rushes The Business and hits the whole crew (minus Elizabeth Cartier obviously! He's a gentleman!) with a flying cross body! They all tumble to the ground! Champion's able to scramble to his feet first and enters the ring to confront Money, but he slides out of the other side with the championship belt and Whitlock! Money tends to Wolf who's taken two severe shots with the briefcase in as many weeks and The Business all join up and celebrate at the top of the ramp! Emily McQueen points out how dumb this makes Champion and Wolf look since they've gotten beaten with the same trick twice in a row, while Belle and Cornish protest that there's a distinct numbers advantage! How do you get Rich Money in a fair fight when The Business is lurking in the background?!

Casey Valentine versus Steve Frehley

JLuGW8q.jpgXQuF36C.jpg7ncnXAu.jpg

Steve Frehley demanded an opponent for tonight. According to McQueen, he's sick and tired of Nicky Champion ducking him. He wants a match, tonight that will help prepare him for his bout at Stars, Stripes and Slams, so Casey Valentine was a natural pick. Valentine, who originally debuted with a heelish, cocky gimmick slowly got over with the crowd. As a smaller guy who could work with larger opponents he turned face and now he's taking on the baddest man in pro wrestling!

Frehley looks annoyed to be wrestling a smaller guy, he wants someone who can prep him for Champion, so he doesn't take his competition seriously... this turns out to be a mistake. While Valentine is no match for Frehley in a contest of pure strength, he lands a surprise dropkick that sends Frehley to the mat! This wakes Frehley up a bit and the two men have a pretty back and forth match. Frehley dominates for stretches until Valentine pulls out a hope spot and gets Frehley reeling for a little offense from Cool Hand Casey. Then Frehley cuts him off, and gets his stuff in. This repeats a few times, but in the end, Valentine's luck runs out and Frehley's Comet sends him crashing down to earth for the pin.

Steve Frehley wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 82)

7ncnXAu.jpg

After the match, Frehley angrily demands a microphone. A ringside worker, valuing their well-being quickly hands him one.

Steve Frehley:
"You know why Nicky Champion can't beat me? Because I'm a FIGHTER and he's a
wrestler.
I'm out here every night, working, training, getting better... and what's he doing? Standing around and watching. He's watching his homie's back BUT WHO'S WATCHING HIS? He's not training, he's not working, he's not trying to get better. He's too damn busy worrying about what Running Wolf is up to... We've got a match at Stars, Stripes and Slams... and I am going to beat that breaks off that fool. He don't even know. But it don't matter anyhow. He could train every hour, beat a new opponent every night, put in the work I'm putting in and I'd still put that sucka in his place. Come Stars, Stripes and Slams, I'm gonna leave "Champion" battered, broken and humble in the center of the ring!"

Frehley drops the mic, and walks off as Cornish, McQueen and Bryden share their thoughts as the show closes.

Live on Reverie, from Utah Park Reservation (14,354 in attendance) it's...

Nicky Champion is backstage, getting interviewed by Lionel Greenwood.

Lionel Greenwood:
"Nicky, last week Steve Frehley made some incendiary comments questioning your commitment for this month's match against him at Stars, Stripes and Slams! Care to respond?"

Nicky Champion:
"LG, Steve Frehley is a great competitor and has been since he entered the USPW, but this is my house. I have taken on every challenge, fought every opponent, won 6 world championships... when I came here, I worked hard to do my part to propel this company to the heights it's reached today. Steve can do all the talking he wants, but when the time comes, I'll be ready."

Lionel Greenwood:
"Of course, but tonight you'll be teaming with Running Wolf to take on Rich Money and Sterling Whitlock. Steve Frehley and his people claim this as proof you're distracted by..."

Nicky Champion:
"Distracted, LG? No. I've never been more focused and driven. Let me tell you something, brother, I eat, sleep and breathe wrestling! That extends to my feud with Steve Frehley. If he thinks that his
focus
is going to carry him to an easy victory at Stars, Stripes and Slams then he's in for a rude awakening. Tonight, I help Wolf against Money and The Business, after that, Frehley'll have the eyes of the hawk on him!"

On commentary Brock Cornish feels inspired while Emily McQueen mocks Champion and his lack of focus on Steve Frehley.

"The Jurassic Power" T-Rex versus Rick Law (Accompanied by Dawn Gemmell)

6pziIXW.jpgXQuF36C.jpgiPSirG8.jpg

Even at 44, T-Rex is one of the strongest men on the roster. He looks like a million dollars, but at this point the jig is kind of up. He used to be a jobber to the stars and people just don't take him as a believable threat anymore. Though if you're smartened up, you're conditioned to think a victory against him (or he and Tyson Baine as The Titans) means that worker's in for a big push. In any case, the commentary team explains that Rick Law has been scarcely seen lately. He's in terrific shape, but over the past couple years he's been fairly quiet. Tonight he's seeking a chance to get back into the prime time. He dominates T-Rex easily and puts him down with the Long Arm of The Law in a 3 minute squash.

After some commentary from the announce team on Rick Law's current push (or lack thereof) the audience is taken backstage where Rick Law and his manager are having a conversation.

Dawn Gemmell:
"Rick, those fans were 100% Behind you tonight! We're getting close, I can feel it!"

Rick Law:
"I appreciate what you're trying to do, Dawn, you've been a great friend to me... but let's not be too Pollyannaish about this. I can take the truth. Things aren't going the way I want."

Dawn Gemmell:
"You've dropped weight, you're in the best shape you've ever been, you just took down a former champion in record time! Good things are coming, Ricky!"

Rick Law:
"Dawn. This isn't helping. Things are changing. People these days don't respect the badge like they used to. I... I'm just frustrated is all."

Dawn Gemmell:
"I know, Rick, I know... but trust me. These fans love you, and if we keep working, we'll get you back to the top of this company!"

American Gold versus The Cold Warriors

wQNaN9A.jpgfUenMWc.jpgXQuF36C.jpgTVOpqUm.jpgWx31z2k.jpg

The Cold Warriors seem focused, and upset about losing to The Texas Express a couple weeks back so they don't pull their punches with American Gold. It's hardly a squash, but the energetic young pair just can't match the veteran heels and their size and strength. They're pinned cleanly by Novak after a stiff looking Balance Of Power.

The Cold Warriors win via Pinfall!

As the Cold Warriors celebrate in the ring with their Soviet flag, the audience is taken backstage as James Justice is watching the match on TV with The Texas Express, coaching them.

HWXlMmR.jpgUC7Gn1a.jpg

James Justice:
"Look, you guys beat these monsters once, but I promise you, they're gonna be ready for you at Stars, Stripes and Slams. These guys don't mess around, bro. They're three time tag champs for a reason, you dig? Look here, you see that moment when Novak pauses because he thinks he's got you beat? We could do something with that. You see how Karloff is a little slow coming off the ropes? I think if you dudes pay attention, and keep studying with me, you can beat these guys again, at Stars, Stripes and Slams and show everyone in the world exactly what The Texas Express is made of, bro. Let's wind it back and watch it again..."

Justice backs up the feed, as the camera pans out revealing a stack of tapes of The Cold Warrior's matches. Turk and Coop each have a pad and paper and are dutifully taking notes from the old vet's lesson.

Melody versus Alicia Strong (Accompanied by the Muscle Monsters)

GfnkxmD.jpgXQuF36C.jpgvhnwnS0.jpg

Strong comes out strutting and the Muscle Monsters lift her onto the apron for the match. She shows Melody no respect as an opponent. At first, this massively backfires. Melody hits her with a couple big moves. Glorious Gloria looks to intervene but Strong waves her off. After that Alicia buckles down and takes the fight to Melody. It's a good back and forth, but Melody fights her way back. Strong is on the ropes, but cuts off her opponent and starts building up to a win when Melody traps her in an inside cradle for the surprise pin!

Melody wins via Pinfall!

Strong gets up and screams in frustration before slapping the mat and signaling to Gloria and Juliette to take care of business. The two slide into the ring and proceed to beat the tar out of Melody! It looks real bad for her when suddenly...

1lYZmhP.jpg

Pariah sprints out from the back! The Muscle Monsters are much larger than her, but as a former federal agent, Pariah is able to lock in a wrist control hold on Gloria and kick out her knee. When Juliette King goes for a punch, Pariah deftly blocks it and judo throws her through the ropes onto the outside. Strong is up now and goes for a Strong Arm but she's cut off by a recovered Melody who slams her with a Melody Maker! Security comes from the back to cut off any further hostilities as Melody and Pariah give one another a nod of respect.

A big 8 man tag is set for tonight, and to hype it, a promo package is cut together showing all the face participants. Casey Valentine getting some offense on on Steve Frehley before the finish, Brandon "Bulldozer" Smith getting put out with the gimmicked knee pad, Roger Cage being hassled and highlights of Enygma's career and recent challenge from Joss Thompson. Interspersed with the cut together sections, there's quotes from the featured stars.

Similar to the previous package, this one features the heel team. Zeus comes off looking a bit hokey compared to the rest of the crew, but hard hitting highlights are cut with quotes from the wrestlers. Frehley does not look pleased to be wrestling in a tag match. None of them are really. They're rearing to go in a singles contest and beat on the competition.

This match serves to highlight the feuds involved. Frehley is angry that there's no Champion to face and dominates everyone in his way. Valentine holds his own, but there's no heat for him here. Thompson wants to prove he's the best. Cage wants to be a star. Zeus wants to humble Cage. Enygma wants to keep his spot and prove he's a legend. Shafer wants to shine. Brandon Bulldozer Smith wants to move up the card. The action is fast and furious with Frehley and Thompson standing above the rest, but in the end The Dark Destroyer is arguably the toughest man in USPW and he proves it by spearing Valentine and scoring the pin.

Money and Whitlock are preparing for their upcoming match.

Rich Money:
"Listen to these crybaby idiots. We
cheated?
to win? There's no
cheating
in wrestling. It's survival of the fittest. If the other guy is on the mat and you're not, then you won. You BEAT them, whether you used a $1,500 metal briefcase or not!"

Sterling Whitlock:
"That's right boss!"

Rich Money:
"I know it's right, Whitlock, I'm the one who said it. So tonight, we're going to go out and beat those clowns again. Running Wolf and Nicky Champion can whine all they want about
"the rules"
but at the end of the night, we're getting our hands raised. The USPW Champion can't very well be getting pinned in front of a bunch of toothless yokels, can he?"

Sterling Whitlock:
"No sir, Mr. Money."

Nicky Champion and Running Wolf versus Rich Money and Sterling Whitlock

Im8T6jz.jpgZPNLoyC.jpgXQuF36C.jpg96D9wsg.jpgvCRFqWH.jpg

Nicky Champion and Running Wolf are on fire. They come out of the gate and control the match from the jump. Money and Whitlock are exceptional wrestlers (though Whitlock is woefully undersized here) but the size, strength and energy of Hawkeye and Wolf is too much. Rich Money, however is a brilliant tactician and a strong worker so he gets a cut off on Nicky and goes to work. He's able to start holding his own more and more. It looks like an even battle but Money is running out of steam. He's older now. When Running Wolf is tagged in, it looks like he's going for the kill when Money drops him with a surprise Bank Roll! Money goes for the cover. It looks like Wolf is going to kick out, but Money gets on the ropes to apply a little more pressure! Wolf struggles and kicks out at three and an eighth but it's too late!

Rich Money wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 81)

Money and Whitlock haul ass, laughing at what is essentially their 3rd straight victory. Meanwhile, Steve Frehley steps to the top of the ramp.

7ncnXAu.jpg

He stares down Money and Whitlock, in a way that promises violence. Frehley oozes intensity, but then he magnanimously tilts his head indicating that the pair should continue to the dressing rooms. He holds a mic and speaks as he walks to the ring.

Steve Frehley:
"I warned you, punk. Your head ain't right, sucka. That's why Money whooped you on live TV and that's why I'm gonna whoop you at Stars, Stripes and Slams. You got soft, Nick, and this is finna be my company soon."

As Steve heads into the ring, Running Wolf looks ready to pounce, but Champion gestures for him to back down. "I've got this, Wolf. Please." Running Wolf stares down Frehley and walks past the Dark Destroyer while maintaining eye contact. Wolf breaks the stare first, when he continues moving and ducks out of the ring, respecting Nicky's desire to handle this.

Nicky Champion:
"Soft, Steve? You wouldn't be the first person to underestimate me. There's a long list of people I've defeated along the way."

Steve Frehley:
"You ain't findin my name on that list, son. I'm on the list of folks who put you down clean. 1, 2, 3 in the middle of the ring."

(Angle Rating: 85)

7ncnXAu.jpgIm8T6jz.jpg

Nicky looks tense. Angry. And like someone who just had a hard fought wrestling match... The two get face to face, inches apart, eyes locked in, looking for a weakness... when suddenly Frehley hits Champion with a thunderous uppercut, staggering the champion. "Imma whoop you at the PPV Nick, but why wait!?"

Champion reels against the ropes but flies back with some heavy hitting offense of his own! He and Frehley exchange stiff punches that look like they could knock out a rhino when Nicky picks a leg and takes down Frehley! The two roll around throwing punches, elbows, knees, forearms and everything they can muster. Eventually Frehley gets free, but Nicky Champion charges him! Frehley ducks and sends Hawkeye over the top rope! The two brawl on the outside, breaking tables, knocking over the ring bell, tumbling over ringside equipment... Finally security rushes in to break up the brawl! They can barely get between the two men as they're shoved aside like rag dolls! More and more show up, until things die down. "Imma BURY you, fool!" shouts Frehley as the show goes off the air.

Thanks, brother! I wouldn’t worry about blowing your predictions. Unless AD comes back and aces this and the PPV you’re looking like the odds on favorite :D

Live on Reverie, from Illinois State Park (13,336 in attendance) it's...

LL00kKm.jpgpQyHk0A.jpg

The Business is arranged in a board room. Charlie Thatcher at the door, but everyone else sitting around a conference table with Rich Money at the head of the table, with the nicest chair, pounding the surface with his fist.

Rich Money:
"Listen up! These whining idiots got their way! The "geniuses" that run this dump have teamed me up with Steve Frehley again and they want us to face Running Wolf and Nicky Champion in tonight's Main Event! And what's more, they've banned you all from ring side!"

A chorus of objections goes around the room.

Rich Money:
"Shut up! [the room goes quiet] Good. But the thing is, I don't need you lot in order to win matches. I'm am the USPW World Champion and tonight I will TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS. Frehley is a dangerous lunatic, but he hates Champion even more than I do, we're not going to have any problems with him, and Running Wolf? Ha! I'll beat him any day of the week and twice on Sundays! After Stars, Stripes and Slams I'll be laughing all the way to the bank!"

(Angle Rating: 84)

The Texas Express and Jett & Moor versus The Cold Warriors and Shockwave

The heels in this match are absolutely enormous with Julius Moor as really the only man who can match their size. The Cold Warriors get their hands on The Texas Express and beat them down when given the opportunity, but Coop and Turk display some good wrestling awareness to get away, which the announce table puts over as Justice's influence! Jett & Moor are the champs so they get their stuff in, as with Shockwave who are the former champs. In the end, Coop eats a Jumbo Avalanche for the pin. Emily McQueen cackles that James Justice's coaching and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee as the ref counts to 3.

Roger Cage, the USPW National Champion is strutting confidently backstage with the title belt on his shoulder. Just generally being handsome and charming and polite to every backstage worker he sees "Hey there Jan, looking good! Tell Bill I said hi!" "Tom, how about those Bears, huh?" etc. etc. He walks into a darkened area of hallway when suddenly Bad Intentions tackles him through a cracked door and they're egged on by Zeus! Cage is on the floor of this dark room getting beaten, the camera is on Zeus when you see his expression change! The sounds of beating stop... and then the room is bathed in an eerie red glow! A hooded figure appears as if out of nowhere! It's TYSON BAINE!!

8JJN3V9.jpg

Tyson Baine:
"Who DARES disturb me?!?!"

Bad Intentions try to fight the demon but he dispatches them easily. The Olympic order runs away, as Tyson Baine picks up Roger Cage and throws him out of the room, cracking the wall on the opposite side. The camera is on cage, and when security comes to investigate, they go into the room and find it completely empty! What in the world is going on?!

"Marksman" Kirk Jameson (Accompanied by Maryam Vega) versus Rick Law (Accompanied by Dawn Gemmell)

c9WGSpx.jpgXQuF36C.jpgiPSirG8.jpg

Once again, Jameson is a talented wrestler who the announcers put over. This match is pretty even. Rick Law looks frustrated. The booth explains that he's been frustrated a lot recently. He has no match scheduled for Stars, Stripes and Slams and really hasn't gained much traction since returning to USPW. Law's frustration finally bubbles over though and he hits his trademark go home moves to put Kirk Jameson away.

Rick Law wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 69)

iPSirG8.jpg4CuyDh9.jpg

After the match, Law extends a hand to Jameson who is hesitant at first, but reluctantly accepts the handshake. It's a legitimate gesture of good sportsmanship and the two part ways. The announce team discusses the events of the day for long enough for Law and Dawn to get backstage, and we catch back up with them there.

Dawn Gemmell:
"That was decent of you Ricky, that guy Jameson and his valet haven't made any friends since coming here, it was good of you to shake his hand. The fans sure seemed to love it."

Rick Law:
"I didn't do it for the fans, Dawn... Kirk seems like a good dude, and really, isn't he just like me? We're both going nowhere right now. He wrestled a hard fought match just like I did so why not shake his hand?"

Dawn Gemmell:
"Rick, we talked about this, you're not 'going nowhere'! Good things are coming!"

Rick Law:
*irritated, but quickly regaining his cool*
"WHEN, DAWN? WHEN?! Look... I'm sorry. It's just... Nicky Champion claims he built this place, but before him, it was me and that SOB Rich Money that were drawing money. I just... I never won that damn belt, but people came to see those matches. We were wrestling in front of crowds of barely 1,000, but that's how it was back then! That's how we got to where we are now... so I come back, and expect to be back at the top, and what happens? You come over, but so does Rich and Steve Frehley and those two jerks are all anyone can talk about! I'm here, busting my butt every day. Representing the badge, representing the boys in blue and people just don't seem to care anymore... I'm... I'm getting real sick of it."

Dawn Gemmell:
"I know Rick, I know... but I promise, things are gonna turn around. People can see the work you're putting in, you started the year 2-0. It's all going to come together!"

Rick Law:
*disbelievingly*
"Sure Dawn, we'll see."

Funky Fedora versus Brandon Bulldozer Smith

FdA62EL.jpgXQuF36C.jpgh0EqM1r.jpg

Funky Fedora absolutely oozes charisma, and he and Smith put on a solid match centered around brawling. Smith was recently voted the best brawler in wrestling today, and he shines here in this spot. While the match is kept open, Smith is able to close out a victory, without any appearances from Trent Shaffer or Raven Nightfall

Brandon Bulldozer Smith wins via Pinfall!

fSHTDKi.jpg6aDK54Y.jpg

Nightfall and Shaffer are in the back watching the match. Raven turns it off in disgust as Smith celebrates.

Trent Shaffer:
"Babe, don't even worry about it. I'm white hot right now. When I face Smith on Sunday, he's going down!"

Raven Nightfall:
"I don't think you're taking this seriously enough. You are an amazing wrestler, but you need to treat this match more seriously. If the unthinkable happens... and he beats you..."

Trent Shaffer:
"If he WHAT? Listen to yourself! He's nothing!"

Raven Nightfall:
"He's not... nothing, he's got 100 pounds on you. You can take him, but we need to get serious." [she pulls out a file.] "So let's get started."

Alicia Strong and Glorious Gloria (Accompanied by Juliette King) versus Pariah and Melody

vhnwnS0.jpg9BPofZW.jpgXQuF36C.jpg1lYZmhP.jpgB73UGNb.jpg

Alicia Strong is annoyed to be going out first. The Champion, the STAR is supposed to come out last. In any case, it's decided that Gloria, rather that Juliette, will wrestle in the match, Melody comes out with Pariah and they have a less chilly demeanor towards one another. They're certainly not friends, but they trust each other to get the job done. Gloria is the powerhouse in the match, so she's booked strongly, but Alicia Strong is the main star here. She shines against Pariah and Melody, but eventually she gets overwhelmed with some quick tags by Melody and Pariah where they're fresh and Alicia isn't. She needs a hot tag to Gloria and gets one! Pariah manages to knock Strong off the apron and into the steel barricade but Gloria pounces! She's really laying her stuff in when Pariah gets a wrist hold and transitions into a roll up! Gloria is stunned for barely a 3 count, but the ref's hand comes down before she gets a shoulder up! The faces know better than to hang around when they're outnumbered so they celebrate up the ramp!

Pariah and Melody win via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 67)

As Strong looks angry, a video package pops up showing the Women's Division feuds and matches at Stars, Stripes and Slams! Pariah is set for a grudge match against Jillian Jarvis that will decide the #1 contender for the USPW Women's Championship.

For the belt itself Melody will be taking on the current USPW Women's Champion Jaime Quine! Quine's kickboxing prowess is put over, but Melody's overcome big obstacles before! And wherever the USPW Women's Championship is, Alicia Strong isn't too far behind! These matters will be settled on Sunday!

Somewhere, deep in the heart of this building perhaps, we're shown a smoky, hazy and darkened room. What little lighting there is, is oddly placed, and greenish, lasers sweep the room in unpredictable patterns. Out of the darkness, Enygma comes towards the camera, lighting one side of his face. He speaks in his typical raspy voice, intense eye contact and ever so slightly off kilter mannerisms.

Enygma:
"This Joss Thompson has done a lot of talking lately... talk, talk, talk. Always talking, always blaming others for his problems. He is right about one thing though... I have been at this game a looooong time... but where he sees weakness in my longevity, I see strength. In my career... I've toppled giants... I've overcome demons... I've slain beasts... I've beaten
legends
and
immortals
. Come Sunday? I'll humble another challenger."

Casey Valentine versus Joss Thompson

JLuGW8q.jpgXQuF36C.jpgGRP1T6R.jpg

Joss Thompson looks supremely confident, but his demeanor doesn't phase Cool Hand Casey Valentine. Valentine has put on a string of excellent matches lately, and he adds another to the list. Thompson is the bigger man, and arguably the superior wrestler, but Valentine doesn't make it easy. He certainly holds his own better than he did against Frehley, and he gets in a lot more offense than you might expect, but Thompson lands a Clean Cutter and wins the match.

Joss Thompson wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 79)

GRP1T6R.jpg

Thompson laughs as he kicks Valentine under the bottom rope. He grabs a microphone as Cool Hand is helped backstage.

Joss Thompson:
"I am the Complete Package. Muscles, sex appeal, raw. animal. charisma. And talent. So damn, much talent. And what do scrubs like Enygma have? A light bulb, a fog machine and a two dollar laser pointer. No wonder you fans are starving for some actual talent. You poor, ignorant, slack jawed slobs have been forced to see tired old has-beens for too long. Guys who came into this company, what? Ten? Fifteen? However many years ago and all they can talk about is 'I beat some other tired old nobody back 20 years ago'. Well NEWSFLASH, grandpa! No. One. Cares. and on Sun..."

IO1Dxid.jpg

The lights in the arena suddenly go out, and a moment later the ring is bathed in a greenish blue light. Thompson looks around, but Enygma comes out of nowhere and takes out his knee with a chop block! He stomps the ankle of Thompson and lands a few sharp knees to the affected joint. Thompson struggles to his feet but Enygma rolls through him, lacing his leg and cinching in the Enygma Variation! It looks incredibly painful! Security and medical personnel rush to the ring and as they're about to arrive, the lights go out again! When they return a moment later, they reach normal arena levels. A furious Thompson howls in agony.

Steve Frehley and Rich Money versus Nicky Champion and Running Wolf

7ncnXAu.jpgg9vy0k6.jpgXQuF36C.jpgIm8T6jz.jpgZPNLoyC.jpg

Money and Wolf start the match. Money is too annoyed for games. He's ready to take the fight right to Wolf. He challenges Wolf to a test of strength and then kicks him in the stomach. He piles the offense, wolf gets a hope spot but he's thrown into the opposing corner and Frehley is tagged in. Frehley wants Champion though... so he Biel throws Wolf across the ring. Nicky accepts the challenge and the two men unload on one another. Brutal, snug, strong style kind of strikes. Champion wins the battle of power moves and knocks Frehley down near the corner! Money springs in and lets Champion have both barrels but today is not the day to mess with Nicky. He boots Money in the stomach and smashed his face into the mat with a Hawkeye Hammer. 1...2...3!

Nicky Champion wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 89)

Im8T6jz.jpgZPNLoyC.jpg

Frehley jumps down from the apron and slams it with his palms. He's furious and looks at Money with anger for a second, before turning his attention to Champion. Champion and Wolf embrace, and then stare daggers at their opponents. "Focus, Steve? My focus is just fine! I'll see you Sunday!" The two pairs continue jawing at one another before the victors in this match focus on celebrating with the fans and sending them home happy! Cornish, McQueen and Bryden hype up the card for Stars, Stripes and Slams! This Sunday, everything comes to a head!

Brock Cornish|Emily McQueen|Belle Bryden

EF2VN2f.jpgwUepjvx.jpgYT1fsnJ.jpg

Brock Cornish:
"Welcome USPW fans, this is STARS, STRIPES and SLAMS! I'm Brock Cornish and with me, as always, are my broadcast partners Emily McQueen and Belle Bryden! And have we got a full slate of matches for you tonight!"

Emily McQueen:
"Absolutely, Brock! The biggest stars in professional wrestling are here! We've got 'Bulldozer' Brandon Smith taking on Trent Shaffer! We'll see Pariah clash with Jillian Jarvis! Two former world champions will collide when Joss Thompson faces Enygma! Speaking of champions, Rich Money will defend his USPW World Championship against Running Wolf! And in the Main Event? "The Dark Destroyer" Steve Frehley will seek to continue his domination of Nicky 'So called' Champion."

Brock Cornish:
"Well now hold on, 'Domination' seems a bit of an overstatement, Nicky..."

Belle Bryden:
"I hate to agree with her, Brock, but Steve Frehley has been absolutely dominant since joining the company. Less than a year after arriving he beat Champion for the title and he's been fixated on taking down Nicky Champion ever since he got here. He lost the title in a close match with Enygma, and hasn't regained gold since. It's the top prize in the wrestling world, but he's more interested in beating Nicky Champion, something he's been able to do every time they've clashed in the ring!"

Brock Cornish:
"Perhaps you're right, but Champion seeks to end the streak tonight! He's backstage with Lionel Greenwood right now!

JduXoAU.jpg

Im8T6jz.jpgtXXf6n6.jpg

Lionel Greenwood:
"That's right Brock, I'm here with Nicky Champion, Nicky, tonight you face Steve Frehley, a man who you have yet to been able to pin cleanly..."

Nicky Champion:
"Yeah LG, and he just looooves saying that doesn't he? But I'm a six time USPW Champion and I've overcome every challenger in my career here! Think about some of the greatest champions in wrestling history Jumbo Jackson? Beat him. Joss Thompson? Beat him. Enygma? Beat him. Rich Money? Beat him. Tyson Baine? Beat. him. twice. And there's countless other foes I've planted in the center of that ring with a Hawkeye Hammer and pinned clean as a whistle! Heck I even ran Commissioner Doom

out of town! This is the place that Nicky Champion built. But let me speak directly to Steve Frehley for a moment. Steve... I know you're watching. Do not, under any circumstances, question my commitment or my focus. I want you at. your. best. If you think for a SECOND that I'm giving you anything less than one hundred percent, you're in for a bad time, pal. Tonight, in front of fifty thousand fans and the millions and millions watching at home... you better bring your 'A' game or it's Hawkeye Hammertime for the Dark Destroyer!"

(Angle Rating: 85)

Pariah versus Jillian Jarvis

1lYZmhP.jpgXQuF36C.jpgG3b5c89.jpg

Miss Congeniality:
When the match starts Pariah takes control early. With her training she's able to employ some control holds and judo throws. If she had some handcuffs, or some backup, she might be able to make short work of Jarvis, but Jillian Jarvis is a barroom brawler. Tiring of the judo throws and pressure point strikes, she kicks out Pariah's knee and capitalizes by climbing on top and pummeling her opponent.

Old Fashioned Country Butt Whooping:
Jarvis is a fighter, and she fights dirty. She slams Pariah with some high powered strikes and would look equally at home in a bar fight as she does in a wrestling ring. There are some occasional hope spots where Pariah is able to grab another wrist control hold, or another judo throw, but she can't capitalize. Tackles and punches and picks and suplexes from Jarvis are a bit much and there's some near falls.

I am an Eff Bee Eye Agent:
Feeling overly cocky, Jillian Jarvis starts crowing at her opponent. She lines up a haymaker and swings but Pariah ducks, wraps her up in a bear hug and slams her down in a brutal belly. This nets her a two count, but Pariah stays on the offensive. She's showing superior wrestling ability and drive. After some more stunning offense, Jillian Jarvis charges Pariah. Pariah grabs her in a front face lock, jumps, spins and drills Jarvis with a Tornado DDT. The ref counts to 3 and it's all over!

Pariah wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 64)

vhnwnS0.jpg2aLFFtG.jpg

Backstage, the Triumvirate is watching the match on TV. Alicia Strong raises an eyebrow and begrudgingly gives Pariah some props.

(Match Rating: 71)

The Texas Express (Accompanied by James Justice) versus The Cold Warriors

HWXlMmR.jpgUC7Gn1a.jpgXQuF36C.jpgTVOpqUm.jpgWx31z2k.jpg

USS R U Serious?:
The Texas Express are high energy and high charisma, and they're departure from the plodding, stoic nature of The Cold Warriors. Coop is in the match first against Krusher Karloff and when he comes out like a house of fire, Karloff cuts him off with a thumb to the eye. Before Coop can even sell the eye poke, Krusher slams him into the turnbuckle and puts the pressure on him with a quick tag to Novak who nails Coop with some powerslams and bone crunching suplexes.

Don't Mess With Texas:
Coop is reeling with some of these powerful moves, but James Justice helped prep him for the match. When Novak throws him into the turnbuckle and goes for a big Corner Splash, Coop has it well scouted! He ducks out of the way and dropkicks Novak in the back of the head! Both men are down and Coop makes a slow crawl to his corner. It looks like Novak is going to stop him, but no! Cooper makes a hot tag to Turk as he's being dragged off! Turk and Coop double team for some offense before the referee forces Coop to his corner.

The Balance of Power:
There are several sequences that highlight how The Texas Express have scouted The Cold Warriors. A reversal here, a counter there... Turk looks good. When Novak gets to his corner and tags in Karloff they get some double team offense in. Coop jumps into the ring, which causes the referee to stop him, leading to more double team offense on Turk. When it looks like they'll put away Turk with the balance of power he rolls out and tags in Coop! Novak flies in but gets cut off by the referee. Coop tags Turk back in and they hit the Dallas Drop! Coop stops Novak from coming back and interfering! 1...2...3!

The Texas Express win via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 59)

HWXlMmR.jpgUC7Gn1a.jpg6eBOwCz.jpg

The Cold Warriors shuffle off to the back, dejected like a couple 80's teen movie villains. James Justice climbs into the ring and celebrates with his new charges! He's not their manager, per se, he's just a mentor and helps celebrate their moment!

USPW National Championship Match

Zeus versus Roger Cage ©

MSSKBRp.jpgXQuF36C.jpgL6RMzIl.jpg

Kneel Before The Bronze God:
While both men are technically middleweights, Cage gives up at least 20 pounds in this matchup as Zeus is built like... well, a Bronzed God. Opening the match he lands most of the offense from the start. He looks strong and tanned, and he taunts Cage by threatening to humble him and show him the error of his hubris!

Lights, Camera, Action:
Zeus gets a little too cocky in his attacks and Roger is able to fire up with some flashy moves. He superkicks Zeus in a transition spot and then lands a teardrop suplex as he's reeling. When Zeus tries to get to his feet, Cage hits a dropkick to his mush and gets a close 2 count when he goes for the cover.

Curtain Call:
Zeus works his way back into the matchup with a cut off and it's back and forth for a while, though he mostly overpowers Cage with his weight advantage. He cinches in the Olympian Clutch at one point, and things look bad for Cage but he makes it to the ropes. As Cage is reeling, Zeus sets up the Thunder Bolt (Sit-out Powerbomb) but Cage sends him flying with a back body drop! Zeus is now reeling, but he's caught in a Cage Rage (Reverse Diving DDT) and is planted for the 3 count!

Roger Cage wins via Pinfall and RETAINS the USPW National Championship!

(Match Rating: 67)

L6RMzIl.jpg

Cage celebrates his victory, stepping onto the second rope and playing to the fans... when the lights go out without a warning, and the jumbo tron shows a message:

VANITY... PRIDE... HUBRIS...

The lights come on, but tinted red and TYSON BAINE attacks!

8JJN3V9.jpg

Baine surprises the champ with a couple big Devil's Hammers (Clubbing blow) before slamming him with a Hades Bomb (Double handed choke bomb). As quickly as he arrived, Baine is gone and the arena lighting returns to normal.

USPW Women's Championship Match

Melody versus Jaime Quine ©

B73UGNb.jpgXQuF36C.jpg376ACdG.jpg

#KickYourHeadOff:
On social media, Quine has been causing a stir. Alicia Strong, Pariah, Melody, Jillian Jarvis... these losers are getting airtime while everyone forgets who the REAL champion is. She opens the match by feinting and then delivering a crushing Brogue kick. She gets an almost two count, and after that she controls the offense.

Delete Your Account:
After taking the brunt of the early offense, Melody cuts off a kick, capturing Quine's leg and throwing her down in a suplex. She's sweet as pie, so you forget how good a wrestler she is but she's able to fire up on Quine and control the action for a bit.

Too Strong:
Towards the end of the match the Triumvirate shows up! What in the world are they doing here? Alicia Strong watches for a bit, as her heavies stand close by, and when the action heats up in the ring, Strong signals to King and Gloria. They both enter on opposite sides of the ring and go on the attack. King slams down Melody while Gloria delivers thunderous forearms to Quine. The referee calls for the bell and Strong crows to the crowd about how this is HER title!

The Match Ends in a Double DQ and Jaime Quine RETAINS the USPW Women's Championship!

(Match Rating: 72)

Enygma versus Joss Thompson

IO1Dxid.jpgXQuF36C.jpgGRP1T6R.jpg

Legend In Your Own Mind:
Once the fracas is cleared from the Women's match, this one can get under way. Joss Thompson flexes for the crowd and looks supremely confident. Enygma is giving up a lot of weight in this matchup but he's fought larger opponents before. That being said, Joss Thompson is confident for a reason and he takes the fight right to Enygma, and dominates the early matchup with hard hitting suplexes and strikes.

Son, You Have No Idea:
Enygma is getting beat, but he grabs a drop toe hold and gets Thompson down on his level as the heel celebrates. Enygma mat wrestles him extremely well and puts on a clinic. When Thompson tries to fight his way up, he eats an Enygmaguri. Enygma picks him up, throws him into the corner and then does a ten punch spot before monkey flipping Thompson to the center of the ring.

Out of The Shadows:
Enygma starts working the ankle of Thompson, but Thompson attempts to pull off his mask and Enygma grabs the mask back. With this reprieve Thompson gets back on top and hits a huge throw down spinebuster. He smashes Enygma with a backbreaker and a snap powerslam... Enygma gets a hope spot when he rolls up Thompson and rocks him with a quick superkick to his sitting opponent, but when he goes in for more ankle based offense, Thompson plants him with a Clean Cutter (Spinning Back Suplex Bomb) and scores a pinfall victory!

Joss Thompson wins via Pinfall!

(Match Rating: 79)

IO1Dxid.jpgGRP1T6R.jpg

Thompson smiles confidently as his hand is raised and he looks over at his fallen opponent. With the crowd building, he walks over to Enygma and offers him a hand to help him off the mat. Enygma accepts and Thompson picks him up, giving his opponent a subtle nod of respect... WHEN HE SUDDENLY GRABS ENYGMA AND SLAMS HIM TO THE MAT WITH ANOTHER CLEAN CUTTER! "You're not even in my league, old man!" It's embarrassing that someone hasn't put you out to pasture yet!"

The boos rise as Thompson keeps up his brutal assault of his fallen opponent and suddenly James Justice hits the ring out of nowhere like a bolt of lightning! He ties up with Thompson and throws him back. The referee separates the two men when Justice says "If he wants to beat on legends, let's see him beat, ME, dude!"

James Justice versus Joss Thompson

6eBOwCz.jpgXQuF36C.jpgGRP1T6R.jpg

Respect Your Elders:
James Justice comes in like a house on fire. He shines as he whoops on Thompson. On commentary McQueen raises hell. "Joss Thompson just won a hard fought match! Who does James Justice think he is? This isn't fair!" Justice continues the high powered onslaught but he soon slips on the proverbial banana peel and Thompson turns the momentum around. McQueen changes her tune "Haha, this is perfect, Thompson could take on Justice and Enygma at the same time, the outcome of this impromptu match was never in doubt!"

He's an Old Hippie:
It's clear that Justice's high energy offense to open the match has left him a little out of gas. Thompson confidently controls the pace of the offense and looks strong doing it. He shows no respect for his older opponent as he hits him with a crushing shoulder breaker. Thompson goes for a cocky pin which barely gets a two count. When Thompson plays to the crowd and taunts his opponent "This is your guy? This is the best USPW can do?" the fans start chanting for Justice and he hulks up.

Seeing Stars:
Thompson tries to hold off Justice as he fires up, but his attacks have no effect. Justice smacks him to the mat with a Liberty Left and gets a two count. Justice keeps up the offense on Thompson and goes for the Liberation Slam! But Thompson wriggles out and he donkey kicks Justice below the belt! The ref didn't see it! Thompson lifts Justice up for a Clean Cutter and slams him down for the 3 count! McQueen goes crazy on commentary! Joss Thompson, the Complete Package, just beat TWO of the old guard of the USPW in one night!

Joss Thompson wins via Pinfall!

The camera cuts away to Lionel Greenwood as he approaches Rick Law's dressing room. Rick is heard speaking in an aggravated tone "What's the point, Dawn? What are we even doing here?" Lionel pauses for a moment and hesitantly knocks on the door as a hush falls over the room. Urgent whispering is heard and Dawn Gemmell opens the door, all smiles.

Dawn Gemmell:
"Lionel! Good to see you, Rick's ready for you!"

An annoyed Rick Law doesn't look ready to talk to anyone, but he's a good soldier and he puts on a smile.

Lionel Greenwood:
"Dawn, Rick I understand there is some frustration in your camp that you were not booked for tonight's event..."

Rick Law:
"Yeah, LG, [through gritted teeth] you could say that."

Lionel Greenwood:
"Doubtless your fans are disappointed at your lack of traction lately, what steps are being taken to ensure that you're featured more prominently..."

Rick Law:
"Are you serious with this crap? What steps are being taken to ensure I get the basic level of respect I deserve from this company? Apparently I have to shake more hands and kiss more babies. I feel like I'm doing everything right, everything asked of me... I've put blood, sweat and tears into the USPW and to be frank, I'm not getting anything back right now..."

Dawn Gemmell:
"What I believe Rick is trying to say, is that while we are frustrated at the lack of opportunities we've seen coming our way, we're eager to..."

Rick Law:
"Eager to what? Wait for my shot? Maybe get another National or tag title shot? Hell no. I'm sorry Dawn, but I'm tired of waiting for opportunity to knock. I know that respect for policemen is at an all time low in this country, but I'm tired of waiting for a knock at the door, it's high time to knock some doors down!"

Lionel Greenwood:
"What are you suggesting, are you claiming that..."

Rick Law:
"Right now, LG, I'm suggesting you should hit the road. This interview is over."

Dawn Gemmell looks slightly concerned as Rick Law gently pushes LG out of the room and closes the door. We hear more annoyed chatter behind the door "I told you I didn't want to do this, why did you set up an interview?!" "We've gotta build public perception, Rick, we've gotta present you right, we can't have you being aggro with the staff!" Greenwood, looking a bit ruffled says "Back to you at the announce desk!" and sends it back to ringside.

"Bulldozer" Brandon Smith versus Trent Shafer (Accompanied by Raven Nightfall)

h0EqM1r.jpgXQuF36C.jpgfSHTDKi.jpg

Clear The Road:
After the referee thoroughly checks over Shaffer for foreign objects and rings the bell, Bulldozer sprints across the ring, spears Shaffer and proceeds to pummel him with a series of stiff looking punches. He grabs a side headlock which leads to a little bit of chain wrestling. Shaffer is the smaller man, and no match for a contest of leverage and strength, but he's able to weasel out of a hold and hit Smith in the knee with a dropkick.

Just Call Me Angel of The Dark:
After a sustained period of offense from Shaffer, Bulldozer regains the momentum and has his opponent reeling. At one point, Trent is laid out and Raven climbs to the ring apron! When Bulldozer goes to chase her off she drops down and they jaw at each other. Shaffer recovers a bit and lurks behind Smith and goes for the Heart Burn (Lungblower)! He jumps up, plants his knees in Smith's back and... Smith holds the ropes and keeps his balance! He uses the ropes to fling his weight forward and Shaffer goes ass over teakettle, over the ropes and to the floor nearly taking out Robinson!

The Go Home Cue:
Smith throws Shaffer into the turnbuckle, gets into a three point stance and charges but Shaffer jumps to the top rope, turns around and delivers a flying cross body block... BUT BULLDOZER CATCHES HIM! With incredible power, Smith shrugs "The Talent" onto his shoulder, adjusts him into the proper position and plants him into the mat with his trademark tombstone piledriver.

Bulldozer Brandon Smith wins via Pinfall!

We're taken backstage, Money is addressing The Business like a general addressing his troops.

Rich Money:
"Tonight will be a historic night for The Business. Is Running Wolf on our level? No, but I've beaten Nicky Champion for this belt TWICE and tonight, I'm beating his protege in the middle of the ring. Running Wolf is just another stepping stone towards the continued greatness of this organization! After tonight, when I show this pup who's boss around here, we're on to bigger and better things! LETS GO SHOW THEM WE MEAN BUSINESS!!"

Cheers go up in the conference room as we're shown a very different scene. Running Wolf and Nicky Champion in the locker room, quietly getting ready for their respective matches.

Nicky Champion:
"You've got this, Wolf. Money is a tough opponent, but I believe you can beat him.

Running Wolf:
"Thank you, Nicky. I know I can. Money is not a true warrior. He will resort to anything to retain his Championship, but that Championship should be worn proudly, but a true champion!"

Nicky Champion:
"You got that right!"

Running Wolf:
"And I believe in you too, friend. Steve Frehley is a dangerous man, but you can defeat him!"

Nicky Champion:
"Don't I know it. I've seen first hand how dangerous Frehley is, but this time, things will be different!"

Wolf's music hits and he predator handshakes Nicky before heading to the ring. The camera follow him all the way to Gorilla position

Cash Deposit:
Wolf comes down the ramp wearing warpaint, something he only reserves for important matches. He's driven, focused and shows no emotion. On the flip side, Money comes out in white gear with gold accents hamming it up for the crowd. When the two lock up, Wolf overpowers him easily. Money can't get a foothold as Wolf muscles him around the ring. Money isn't small, by any means but he just can't match Wolf strength for strength. He tries a couple cut off moves, but he's blocked. He's muscled into the corner and the ref calls for a break. Money goes for an eye poke as they're being broken up but Wolf catches his hand and delivers a huge overhand chop. Money stumbles out of the corner post break and Wolf lariats him OUT OF THE RING and onto the floor outside!

It's My Privilege:
After resting for a nine count, Money gets back into the ring and eats more early offense including a shoulder tackle that sends him through the ropes and to the outside again. He gets back up and grabs the belt. The hell with it, he doesn't need this, he's leaving. Wolf gives chase and Money springs his trap. When Wolf stalks his pray and goes on the attack. Money surprises Wolf with a side kick to the gut and then he drops the belt and runs Wolf headfirst into the ringposts. Money screams at a ringside attendant to grab the title belt as he continues his offensive onslaught. Before a countout is declared, Money rolls Wolf into the ring, follows him and then drops an elbow. He keeps up the attack, and drops Wolf again. Money heads up top, the Dollars From Heaven (Frog Splash) is coming! If he hits this it's all over! He flies down from the top, with absolutely perfect form and... he crashes into Wolf! He hooks the leg! 1..2.. Wolf kicks out! He kicks out at 2!!

Take It To The Bank:
Money stares with disbelief. He then berates the referee for a "slow" count, which gives Wolf enough time to recover. Wolf uses the ropes to slowly pull himself to his feet, which Money notices. Rich runs over and delivers a stiff kick to the ribs but Wolf no sells. He's hulking up! He gets to his feet and dominates Money with some more overhead chops and clubbing blows! It's clear that Money is tired, Wolf is younger and has more energy. He goes on the offensive! Money attempts to cut him off with a Money Shaker (European Uppercut) but when he follows up with a front kick, Wolf traps his foot and hauls him up for a Wolf Tamer (Fireman's Carry Slam). Money struggles, rakes his eyes, slips down his back and grabs him for a Money in the Bank (High Angle Bridging German Suplex)! Wolf's shoulders are on the mat for 1...2... Money uses a foot to press the ropes for leverage! 3! Money retains!

As Money laughs his way up the ramp with the belt, Running Wolf is solemn in defeat. Perhaps he doesn't know yet about the little bit of extra leverage that Money applied. Meanwhile the camera cuts to backstage where Steve Frehley is with Lionel Greenwood. "The Dark Destroyer" is intense and focused. He embodies someone who is set for an all out fight.

Lionel Greenwood:
"We're here with Steve Frehley, Steve..."

Steve Frehley:
"Ain't nobody wanna hear from you fool! Shut. Yo'. Damn. Mouth."

Frehley rips the mic out of Lionel's hand and shoves him to the ground. He steps in close to the camera and addresses the viewers directly.

Steve Frehley:
"When I rolled up in USPW, I never gave a damn abut titles. I care about one thing. RESPECT. I found the biggest, baddest dude in this dump. Went right up to him and DOMINATED. Gave Nicky Champion a fight like he's nevah seen. I whooped that fool in the middle of the ring. I went into HIS house. I walked right into USPW like I owned the damn joint and I beat down Nicky "So called" Champion. Showed every sucka out there that I'm the MAN. That I RUN THIS ISH paht-nah. And what have I seen for the last five years? I've seen the fans stand behind this clown. Idiots who think this dude is still somebody. Nicky. Champion. Ain't. Nuthin. Tonight imma prove it. I. GUARANTEE. VICTORY... MARK. IT. DOWN. Nuthin's finna change, the fans don't know what's up. I beat this dude every time I step in the ring wit him and they still chantin' his name... Maybe I'm not beating him bad enough. Maybe I gotta whoop him even harder this time... but I'm beatin' him. Believe. That. Paht-nah."

MAIN EVENT

Nicky Champion versus Steve Frehley

Im8T6jz.jpgXQuF36C.jpg7ncnXAu.jpg

The Feud:
Champion is all energy, smiles and high fives down the ramp... but Frehley mean mugs his way to the ring. He's focused. As soon as the ring announcer is finished introducing both fighters and the referee calls for the opening bell the two men walk to the center of the ring while keeping intense eye contact. After a brief stare down, they start trading punches. There's no love lost between them and they unload. It looks like they're evenly matched but one particularly big right takes Nicky down to a knee and Frehley grabs a front face lock! He ratchets up the pressure while hauling him to his feet and then drops Nicky with a crushing DDT.

This is My House:
Frehley can't contain Champion for long. When Frehley throws his opponent into the turnbuckle he hypes the crowd for a second before running towards Nicky to deliver a big boot. Champion snaps to and leaps forward with a massive lariat to counter with some offense of his own. This move takes Frehley entirely off his feet. Champion does a falling chop straight between Frehley's eyes and then grabs an arm bar. Frehley fights to the ropes and both men brawl. Frehley kick his opponent's knee and then grabs Champion and hot shots him into the ropes. They trade moves, and there's a spot where Champion delivers a throw down spinebuster to Frehley and gets a breather. The break is shorter than anticipated though as Frehley delivers a Dark Destroyer Spear that sends both men tumbling through the ropes! "He didn't get all of it!" Cornish exclaims.

Linked By Fate:
The two men get their bearings at ringside. And Frehley goes on the attack before a dazed Hawkeye can shake out the cobwebs. Eventually they fight back to an even match. If there's one thing these two can do it's brawl. The count surely exceeds 10, but veteran official Robbie Sanchez wisely decides to let them fight. No one wants to see this one end in a count out! They brawl around ringside, Frehley throws Champion into the steel barricade. When he goes to grab Nicky for a follow up attack, Hawkeye kicks him into the ring post. When Champion attempts to capitalize, Frehley kicks him in the gut and spikes his head into the top of the steps. Both men eventually fight their way into the ring and swap crushing offensive attacks that net them a couple two counts each. Finally Champion hauls up Frehley from the mat for a Hawkeye Hammer (Pedigree) but Frehley fights out and pushes him back first into the ropes, when Champion rebounds Frehley picks him up for a Frehley's Comet (F5) and plants his man into the canvas. To put an exclamation point on it, he waits. Laughs. Lets a stunned Nicky get up and then delivers a second Comet. Robbie Sanchez could probably count to 30 but all he needs is 3. 1...2...3 the match is over.

The crowd is stunned as Frehley gets up. He sells the toil the match took on him, but he's still standing and Champion isn't. He rolls Champion to the ropes, grabs the top rope and uses his leverage to push Champion under the bottom rope with his feet. "Get. Out. Of. My. Ring. Punk!" As the crowd is stunned into silence, Frehley celebrates and loudly declares this is his house now. Champion starts to come to, but he's hurt and this is Frehley's night, there's not going to be any retribution... at least not tonight.
