Gary Catcher Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Ok i'm in a mod mood, so I thought I would turn things around with TV networks being promotions and Actors and actresses being the workers. I am currently looking up the current popular TV shows and getting the Actor names. I plan to have it set up like this: I'll use Smallville as an example. The Promotion would be The WB, and then you would have Tom Welling in the worker database, but his contract would read Clark Kent. Now I have developed a system for setting up skills and Overness. I roll some dice. I'm hoping that system will work as I have a 10 sided die in denominations of 10 (ie: 00 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90) I also have an 8 sided die to use so that the max you can end up with is 98 and the least is 1. I plan to use this system for worker skills and overness, to make for a random game. Now for the promotions I may set them up manually so we have the major networks at the top or I may stick to the random method. I would also have a limit so that we don’t end up with everyone at Local size or everyone at Global size. Now what I can use from you guys is suggestions for TV shows(as I’m sure I won’t get all the good ones or “Classics”. I’m also having a hard time finding network logos. So network logos and celebrity pics are needed (I can cut them if you can’t) I’m not demanding any help but any help I can get will speed up the release, also as a side note I’ve just started so there is a ways to go. I’m aiming for roughly 20 different networks. Now that might not be possible but I can work around it. FOX for example (I’m in Canada) our cable company has FOX29 and our satellite carrier has FOX25. A slight difference in the schedule but other then that it’s the same network. So we could if needed have The Simpsons on FOX29 and Family Guy on FOX25. However the guy just refuses to sell, i have seen him thrown a legitimate 20 feet and he acts like it didnt hurt. :) incidentally i would give Allison Mack very high in the looks department, Ahh Chloe, my one weakness! Seinfeld Rosanne Sanford and Son (who wouldn't make Red Fox the cornerstone of their promotion?) Cheers (Norm and Cliff would be a great tag team) Married with Children Baywatch (The diva potential is tremendous, however, I'd prefer the Hasselhoff from Knight Rider) Magnum PI Miami Vice I don't watch new tv shows really so the only suggestions I could think of are Scrubs and My Name is Earl.
