<p><p>Thanks for the predictions guys! I'm working on typing up the show today, with a much bigger presentation than the TV shows, but it probably won't be done until tomorrow since I've got a Packers game to watch and an OOTP league that's simming tonight.</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Thanks for the interest everybody. Cheers!</p></p>

As our opening video, set to the tune of The Struts’ “Bulletproof Baby” with video recaps of moments that led to all of our matches this evening, draws to a close the live broadcast begins with shots of the crowd going wild and a light pyro display. Signs litter the audience, including a prominently displayed Syndicate banner in the upper decks of Dust Bowl Fields on the hard camera side.</p><p> </p><p>

The familiar voice of Jason Azaria welcomes us Malice in Wonderland 2020, and as the camera settles on the announce desk up by the entrance ramp, he informs us that Shawn Doakes is on interview duties tonight while he mans the booth with his good friend Kyle Rhodes and the ever-talented Jasmine Saunders. The announce team start to run down our card from the top, talking for a moment about the TCW World Title match scheduled in our main event before they are interrupted by the music of “The Hitman” Ernest Youngman.</p><p>

<hr></p><p>

<img alt="28H1jFk.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/28H1jFk.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7EC65Ad.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7EC65Ad.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Angeletti takes the microphone from the ring announcer and shoos him out of the ring, taking a moment to run down the crowd before hyping up her charge, the undefeated Hitman.</p><p> </p><p>

She says that no matter what your name is in TCW, nobody is safe when their name is marked on the hit list.</p><p> </p><p>

"Bart Biggins?" she asks, to which Youngman replies, "Eliminated."</p><p> </p><p>

"Dean Daniels?" Angeletti responds. Again, Youngman informs the crowd, "Eliminated."</p><p> </p><p>

"It doesn't matter how much you like someone, or how much they <em>dazzle</em> you... no one survives The Hit."</p><p> </p><p>

Despite the work of Angeletti and Youngman, the promo seems to be drawing the wrong kind of heat from the crowd and the cameras make sure to get shots of some of the Dazzling Dave Diamond fans in the crowd before his music hits.</p><p>

Despite the previous promo going south, the crowd remained hot from the jump once Dazzling Dave appeared, and the competitors got right into it with a hot brawl that quickly spilled out of the ring. They fought all around the ringside area before The Hitman gained the upperhand by tossing a cup of water from the Spanish announce team's desk into Diamond's face and going on the offensive.</p><p> </p><p>

They wound up back in the ring with Youngman in control and, aside from a few hope spots and a brief comeback for Diamond near the end, he remained so for the remainder of the bout. The Hit finishes it just past the six-minute mark, much to the disapproval of the rowdy crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

After a brief promo for next month's The War to Settle the Score pay-per-view, we come back to the arena with Freddy & Laura Catherine Huggins making their entrance to plenty of disdain from the Kansas City crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="zAp6ZYK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zAp6ZYK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="sJH9CLU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sJH9CLU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Laura covers her brother's ears as they make their way to the ring while the crowd chants, "Freddy sucks!"</p><p> </p><p>

She screeches back at them, "My brother does NOT SUCK!" before they finally get into the ring. She takes a microphone and runs down the crowd for reacting to them the way they are with a key line being, "We know you're not used to seeing greatness with the Kansas Crush stinking up this arena, but you need to learn some respect in our presence!"</p><p> </p><p>

Before she can say much else, Human Arsenal's music interrupts them, and they throw a fit in the ring while Arsenal makes his way down the entrance ramp.</p><p>

HUMAN ARSENAL</strong></span></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd was a bit turned off by the slower pace of the match, but that didn't stop the performers from putting on a good match. The story saw Arsenal going for some of his submission holds and high impact suplexes, but Huggins constantly rolling to the outside to the comfort of his overprotective sister. Eventually becoming frustrated, Human Arsenal slipped up and allowed Huggins to gain the upperhand while Laura ran distractions on the outside whenever necessary. Freddy ends it with a Huggins Kiss to pick up the victory in just over ten minutes.</p><p> </p><p>

The announcers talk about the upcoming TCW Tag Team Title Street Fight for a moment before the music of Eddie Peak and The Sinner Society fills the arena.</p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="PkgLFkX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PkgLFkX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Peak has taken to wearing a sleeveless mock-up of a priest's garb with white shirt and black collar, carrying a big, leather-bound book called The Sinner's Bible. He takes his makeshift pulpit, this time on entrance stage rather than in the ring, and begins to proselytize to the crowd about living in sin.</p><p> </p><p>

As they make their way through the curtain, Peak praises Killer Shark and Titan as, "truly blessed monsters about to terrorize the world." He ends, as always, with, "Blessed are the Sinners."</p><p>

<strong>(MIGHTY MO & TANA THE MIGHTY)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

This match absolutely got the crowd buzzing, a well-executed hardcore brawl with a good build-up; the crowd appreciated everything about this match. Far from confined to the ring, these two brawled all over the Dust Bowl Fields with plenty of plunder involved before making their way back to the ring for the finishing segment. The closing moments saw Tana the Mighty and Killer Shark incapacitated on the outside of the ring after a huge inside-to-the-outside table spot that drew the nth "HOLY S--T!" chant from the crowd during the match, leaving just Mighty Mo and Titan in the ring. Mo went absolutely ballistic with a kendo stick before using it to assist him in Russian leg sweep into a chair to score the pin and the titles!</p><p> </p><p>

This match was a nearly even affair, both men turning in good performances as the TCW crowd continues to embrace Perez. In a nice change-up from the previous match of the night, these two kept it in the ring and mixed strikes with technical holds for much of the bout. As has been the psychology for many of Taylor's recent matches, Perez desperately tried to avoid the Butterfly Lock but found himself trapped after Taylor ducked under a Buzzsaw Kick and locked in the hold for the submission victory.</p><p>

Jay Chord comes out before the match and restates some of what he's been saying over the past month, about how he's going to cleanse the relics of the past to cement his legacy.</p><p> </p><p>

Sammy Bach doesn't let him speak for long before coming out and telling him to shut up, much to the delight of the crowd. "All you've done is run your mouth and jump me from behind," Bach says. "Tonight, we're face-to-face and I'm going to put an end to you!"</p><p> </p><p>

The match itself starts off hot, and the crowd are with them the whole way. Bach gains the advantage for a while before Chord uses an eye rake to take control, shadowing some of his fathers' classic heel tactics with some modern twists. The finish saw Chord put Bach away in much the same fashion he disposed of Human Arsenal earlier in the month: hitting a Cradle Piledriver on the ring apron before rolling Bach back inside, but this time hitting a second Cradle Piledriver before going for the pinfall.</p><p>

WOLF HAWKINS</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Wolf Hawkins makes his entrance first, sans other Syndicate members, followed by the champion who takes a moment to pause on the ramp with a microphone.</p><p> </p><p>

"I'm glad to see you out here alone, and not just because someone might cost you the match like they did earlier," Andrews begins, joking about Flynn's earlier flub in the tag team match. "When I took this from you," he says, holding up the TCW World title, "it was kind of the same situation, wasn't it? Someone was supposed to help you, but they screwed up and I took... your precious, didn't I?"</p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins is incensed in the ring, demanding Andrews come start the match.</p><p> </p><p>

"I'll be right there, I just want to propose something first... a gentleman's agreement, if you will... let's keep this between you-and-me, how about that? Let's give these Kansas City fans what they came to see... let's go to war!"</p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins agrees, and Andrews drops the microphone before continuing to the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

They start off slow, Hawkins using a few shortcuts while Jason Azaria accuses him of breaking the gentleman's agreement on commentary but Kyle Rhodes reminds him their agreement was just to keep the match one-on-one. The referee goes a little lax on the rules at times, allowing the match to continue outside the ring when a countout would've been appropriate while still enforcing five-count breaks and making sure neither competitor gets themselves disqualified.</p><p> </p><p>

The second half of the match sees Hawkins take control, claiming several near falls including one with The Ace’s signature Standing Hot Shot. Andrews starts to turn the tide after kicking out with several more near falls, including a Full Moon Rising of his own that Jason Azaia screams, “if he didn’t get a three-count, it was two-point-nine-nine count!”</p><p> </p><p>

The Ace finally picks up the win a huge Flying Body Press off the top rope that meets The Alpha Wolf nearly halfway across the ring and getting the pinfall!</p><p>

JUST THE FACTS by Jason Azaria

TOTALWRESTLING.COM UPDATE - MONDAY, WEEK ONE, FEBRUARY 2020

Last night was Malice in Wonderland, and what a show! I was happy to be at the announce booth once again calling the action alongside my partner-in-crime Kyle Rhodes and the always stunning Jasmine Saunders. We had a loaded card from top-to-bottom, so let's get down to the facts!

First thing's first, everyone wants to know what happened with the TCW World Title... and I can tell you that it is still firmly around the waist of Aaron Andrews! The Ace went to war with Wolf Hawkins for close to 30 minutes before felling the challenge of The Alpha Wolf with a Flying Body Press. Almost as important as the outcome was the "gentleman's agreement" between the two before the match to keep things one-on-one; while he was far from a saint in the encounter, Hawkins' Syndicate cohorts were nowhere to be seen during the loss. With their destined meeting from King of Kings now in the books, what awaits The Ace come this Tuesday's edition of Total Wrestling?

While The Ace retained, former TCW World Tag Team Champions The Behemoths were not as lucky as they fell to The Mighty in an extreme encounter that took both teams all over the Dust Bowl Fields. As you may have seen exclusively here on TotalWrestling.com Sunday night following the show, Eddie Peak has declared a "Sinner's Summit" for this Tuesday night. While I'm not quite sure what that means... the facts say it can't be anything good for TCW.

Moving to the first-ever pay-per-view defense of the TCW Television Title, contested under a 20-minute time limit, Greg Gauge once again walked away a winner after forcing Benny Benson to tap to the Proton Lock. Benson looked more serious that ever after his weeks long training regime, but, in the end, it wasn't enough to overcome the second generation superstar. After a draw and a narrow defeat, one has to wonder if things are really over between these two. Over or not, Gauge must be looking forward to Tuesday night and his next defense against Chance Fortune.

Speaking of Fortune, he and Darryl Devine triumphed over The Elite after some botched interference by muscle man Chris Flynn. With The Syndicate going 0-2 last night, one has to wonder if there will be cracks forming in the alliance as the year goes on. Will The Elite, Doc Hammond, or even Hawkins himself have anything to say to Flynn about causing the loss? What will the 1% of TCW do to rebound coming out of Malice in Wonderland? You'll have to tune into ACE this Tuesday night to find out!

After weeks of blindside assaults and verbal taunts, Jay Chord dispatched of Sammy Bach with an absolutely brutal set of Cradle Piledrivers, and that is, unfortunately, a fact. Now that he's bested the "relic" that is Sammy Bach, where does Chord set his sights next? The Rock God will look to rebound this Tuesday as he takes on Joshua Taylor. Taylor himself was successful at Malice in Wonderland in a tough bout against hot newcomer Frankie Perez. Now, Taylor and Bach will collide on Tuesday!

Moving on from Sunday night, I can also confirm for you a report that has been making the rounds on the internet in recent weeks, and that is this-- The Dogs of War are coming to TCW, and they are arriving on Tuesday night!

Gauge vs Fortune. Bach vs Taylor. The Dogs of War. All that and more this Tuesday night on ACE!

That does it for this Monday's edition of Just the Facts, you can check us out every week on Monday mornings for all the TCW news fit to print!

Just got caught up and really enjoying this! I love TCW. Not sure who Dogs of War are truthfully as I can't look them up in game until I get a new computer, but TCW desperately needs new tag teams!

Glad you're enjoying it, always happy when people chime in to let me know they're enjoying things!

Predictions ALWAYS welcome as well, it's why I include the keys. I just tend to go at a quick pace with my posts so not everyone gets a chance to get them in for every show.

That said, I'm going to be playing with the format of Total Wrestling with the next episode... I've never been a fan of the quote boxes for matches, but I also don't want to spend as much time on every episode of TV as I do all of the PPVs. So hopefully the next show will find a happy medium. I'm working on that show now, so it'll likely be up later on tonight or sometime before noon tomorrow.

TCW presents Total Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 1, February 2020 - LIVE from Laurent Ballroom (Barre, VT)

Announce Team: Shawn Doakes, Kyle Rhodes, and Jasmine Saunders

Attendance: 5,000 SELLOUT! - TV Rating: 3.41

Show Rating: 76

IAdc0El.jpg

The show kicks off with the entrance of TCW World Champion Aaron Andrews, who is all smiles after successfully defending his title at Malice in Wonderland against Wolf Hawkins. He takes a moment to thank the crowd for their warm reception before saying, “Last night, I dispatched The King of Kings… The Alpha Wolf himself, the thorn in my side, Wolf Hawkins. It looks like he’s going to have to punch his ticket to Total Mayhem some other way, because, as of last night, their business is done.”

4S7WrE0.jpgQ6eqZdG.jpg

That brings out Freddy Huggins with his ever-screeching sister by his side, and the pair make their way to the ring. Ever since she tore up a “Freddy Sucks” sign a few weeks ago, fans in the front row and along the entrance ramp have been bringing increasingly inflammatory signs along with them in the hopes of getting Laura to trash their sign, but thus far she’s played it up by waving them off condescendingly.

“Well, if your business with Wolf is over… then I believe the TCW Championship Committee says you have some business with me,” Huggins informs him. “You see I was told that if I overcame the ‘challenge’,” he scoffs, “of Chance Fortune last week on Total Wrestling that I would be afforded certain championship opportunities.”

“That’s right!” sneers Laura in agreement with a smug smile on her face.

Andrews & Huggins go back-and-forth for a moment, with Huggins attempting to put down Andrews while The Ace makes a couple of cracks about Laura until he finally angers the brother & sister, and Laura Catherine has to hold Freddy back from starting a brawl.

“Woah, woah, easy there, tiger,” Andrews laughs as the pair practically throw a tantrum in the ring. “Look, my dance card is clear tonight, so if you want a match, all you gotta do is ask for one.”

“I want a match!” Freddy screams angrily.

“Then you got one, hot shot… see you in the main event… you know, that place you’ve never been before?” Andrews verbally jabs before his music hits and he exits the ring. Shawn Doakes says we’re starting off hot tonight before Kyle Rhodes pitches to commercial.

T-BONE BRIGHT

VERSUS

YURI YOSHIHARA

A fairly short and standard television affair between two big bruisers, with commentary putting both men over during the match. Shawn Doakes refers to T-Bone Bright as a modern day Dick the Devastator, which prompts Kyle Rhodes to mention Devastator's run in Japan later in life. Jasmine Saunders puts over Yurihara's youth and power, saying it wouldn't surprise her to see him become one of the biggest stars in Japan when he returns to PGHW. The end of the match sees Bright absolutely level Yurihara with a T-Bone Lariat for the win.

WINNER: T-Bone Bright (7:04)

Y56HZZT.jpg

Venus Angeletti is out next in what has become a trademark, skintight catsuit. She runs down the crowd in a pretty basic manner before pointing her fingers like a gun at Elliot Thomas on the outside of the ring and telling him, "You've been marked for execution."

SEGMENT RATING: 32

"THE HITMAN"

A pretty standard Hitman squash match with Youngman picking up the win via The Hit.

WINNER: Ernest Youngman (5:48)

"THE BUZZSAW"

FRANKIE PEREZ

VERSUS

MAVERICK

Another standard television encounter with Frankie Perez getting a rebound victory after losing to Joshua Taylor at Malice in Wonderland. The Buzzsaw Kick puts Maverick away in a little over eight minutes.

WINNER: Frankie Perez (8:17)

THE SINNERS' SUMMIT

cABZhW3.jpg24gegRW.jpgXG7AGA6.jpgprJQe79.jpg

Next, it’s time for Eddie Peak and his group to make their entrance; Peak in his mockery of a priest’s garb takes his place at the wretched looking pulpit setup for him in the center of the ring.

"Blessed are the Sinners, and woe unto the righteous!" he begins, his hands going out in a sweeping motion to gesture to The Behemoths and Nick Booth gathered around him. He begins by chastising Booth for his "complacency in creating chaos," and instructs him to bow his head for penance. Picking up a kendo stick from behind the pulpit, Peak rears back and swings across Booth's back before announcing he'll take whacks in total then doles out the rest of them, driving Booth to his knees in front of the pulpit with visible welts forming on his back.

"We must not just revel in sin, but we must be victorious in it as well!" he continues, turning his attentions to Killer Shark and Titan who don't look enthused about accepting any punishment of their own. "The Behemoths, my sinful monsters, you mustn't dwell on the loss of gold as failure... last night was a glorious chorus of chaos and sin! But now, we must..."

The lights in the arena drop, the crowd starting to stir as the universal sign of surprise in wrestling baits the crowd. The sounds of distant gunfire and muted explosions ring out in the arena for a moment before the loud sounds of dogs barking can be heard queuing unfamiliar music. A new logo finally appears on the video screen, announcing the arrival of The Dogs of War!

vV4FMuy.jpgJXj4qY7.jpg

Decked out in new matching gear with chain collars around their necks, One Man Army and Human Arsenal enter the arena to a massive reaction. Arsenal says they've heard enough, and the One Man Army adds that if the Sinner Society wants chaos then they're about to enter a war zone!

SEGMENT RATING: 65

DOGS OF WAR

(ONE MAN ARMY & HUMAN ARSENAL)

VERSUS

THE BEHEMOTHS

(KILLER SHARK & TITAN)

Dogs of War charge the ring after the promo segment, leading to a wild brawl that sees Eddie Peak's pulpit tossed from the ring; Peak himself, along with an ailing Nick Booth, roll out of the ring and take cover. The teams continue brawling even after the bell has rung; the match itself is bisected by a commercial break. Both teams get time to shine, but The Behemoths fall to the newly minted Dogs of War following an impressive Doomsday Device-style dropkick maneuver the announce team call the Bulldog Missile.

WINNERS: The Dogs of War (10:16)

MATCH RATING: 66

ovPJTR7.jpgbwFNAlQ.jpg

Following the match, The Sinner Society are all arguing in the ring with Peak trying to play peacekeeper until the sounds of laughter fill the arena and The Mighty appear on the video screen to taunt The Behemoths about their second loss in a row. Mighty Mo and Tana the Mighty gloat with their newly won TCW Tag Team titles on full display for the cameras.

TCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH

GREG GAUGE ©

VERSUS

CHANCE FORTUNE

Not even fan favorite Chance Fortune can stand up to the force that is the second generation superstar Greg Gauge. The finish was never in doubt, especially when Gauge clamped on the Proton Lock in the center of the ring.

WINNER, AND STILL CHAMPION: Greg Gauge (12:37)

MATCH RATING: 58

zDqstiJ.jpg

Following the match, Frankie Perez comes out and challenges Greg Gauge to a match next week for TCW Television title. With a confident sneer, Gauges nods his head to indicate that he accepts.

SEGMENT RATING: 50

<hr>

1Thm9R4.jpg2y36Ffs.jpg

Sammy Bach is in the ring when we come back from break, cutting a promo about how it wasn't The Rock God's night at Malice in Wonderland, but tonight he plans to kill it on the first stop of his new world tour.

SEGMENT RATING: 73

SAMMY BACH

VERSUS

JOSHUA TAYLOR

These two showed great chemistry from the jump, putting on by far the match of the night. Taylor's Butterfly Lock was protected, as he never managed to get Bach in the hold so it remains unbroken outside of the current TCW World champion. After a great bout, Bach picked up the win with a Bach on Your Back.

WINNER: SAMMY BACH (14:06)

MATCH RATING: 80

rKWGkKG.jpg

Just as it happened many times last month, Jay Chord appears from seemingly nowhere to assault Sammy Bach after his victory! Commentary notes that Chord said he wanted to rid TCW of Sammy Bach, but Saunders says that this is uncalled for after Chord won the match at Malice in Wonderland. Chord leaves Bach laying before we head to commercial.

SEGMENT RATING: 81

IAdc0El.jpg4S7WrE0.jpg

NON-TITLE MATCH

AARON ANDREWS ©

VERSUS

FREDDY HUGGINS

Huggins really shined in his first foray into the main event, working up to the level of the TCW World Champion with relative ease. The match itself was back-and-forth until nearing the end, when it looked like Andrews was going to pick up the win but a ref bump allowed Wolf Hawkins to come to the ring and blast Andrews, giving Freddy Huggins the win when the referee came around to count the pinfall. Freddy celebrates while Wolf laughs from the entryway as we go off the air, Andrews still down in the ring.

WINNER: FREDDY HUGGINS (14:06)

Freddy winning is a huge shock!

I love the combo of OMA and Human Arsenal. I paired them up as The Militia before my laptop took a dump.

Freddy was in a good spot to pick up the win and gain some popularity and I need some stories to push off the Andrews & Hawkins singles rematch... so look for a three-way dance coming up at The War to Settle the Score. ;)

I also love the pairing of One Man Army & Arsenal, and they're both in a good spot to help out the ailing tag team division in every conceivable way. Came close to calling them The Militia actually, but I liked The Dogs of War name better when it came to me since I also wanted to have team kinda like the old school ECW Pitbulls. Not quite the same, but I think it scratches the itch.

TOTAL WRESTLING PREVIEW

TOTALWRESTLING.COM UPDATE - TUESDAY, WEEK TWO, FEBRUARY 2020

This Tuesday on ACE, we're heading towards The War to Settle the Score!

  • Aaron Andrews & Sammy Bach vs Wolf Hawkins & Freddy Huggins - Last week, Wolf Hawkins interfered in the main event to deal Aaron Andrews a defeat. This week, the two bitter enemies will team up with partners and meet in tag team action. Surprisingly, Hawkins did not select one of his fellow Syndicate members, but, instead, picked Huggins-- one has to wonder if Hawkins has ulterior motives.
  • TCW Television Title: Greg Gauge © vs Frankie Perez - The Buzzsaw challenged Gauge to this match last week on Total Wrestling, and The Second Generation Superstar quickly agreed. They meet in the ring this week!
  • Joshua Taylor vs Benny Benson - Both men are looking to rebound after recent losses, Taylor falling to The Rock God Sammy Bach last week on Total Wrestling and Benson losing his rematch for the TCW Television Championship at Malice in Wonderland. What does this Tuesday hold for the more serious and focused Benny Benson? Can he break the Butterfly Lock? Or will Taylor rise to the occasion once again?
  • Jay Chord vs Edd Stone - In recent months, Jay Chord has declared it his “destiny” to rid TCW of all of the “relics of the past.” Those relics, it seems, are all of TCW’s fan favorites-- and this Tuesday, his sights are set on The 24 Hour Party Animal Edd Stone.
  • Dogs of War face a new challenge - Until recently, Floyd Goldworthy could be found alongside The Behemoths but he has since parted ways with Eddie Peak’s sadistic stable. He’s searched far-and-wide for a new team to bring to TCW, and this Tuesday he plans to bring the fruits of his labor to the company to face the Dogs of War!
  • T-Bone Bright vs “The Hitman” Ernest Youngman - The Hitman is undefeated in TCW, but he faces perhaps his biggest challenge yet this Tuesday in the massive T-Bone Bright.

PREDICTION KEY

Do people like the new format for Total Wrestling better than the older format? I'm still open to playing with the design a little to make it look better and read easier.

Also, I think I'm going to save "Just the Facts" for the Mondays after PPVs since the bulk of what I'm doing is just recapping the previous show. Doing it only after PPVs will allow me to better setup the next month of TV but cuts down on my writing load overall.

TCW presents Total Wrestling

Tuesday, Week 2, February 2020 - LIVE from Evanovich Riverside (Trenton, NJ)

Announce Team: Shawn Doakes, Kyle Rhodes, and Jasmine Saunders

Attendance: 9,082 - TV Rating: 3.37

Show Rating: 76

The Syndicate are out to kickoff the show, with Wolf Hawkins gloating about how he cost Aaron Andrews his match last week against Freddy Huggins for a moment before getting serious.

"But tonight is all about business, and, boys, we've got a lot of business to talk about," Hawkins says as he takes off his sunglasses and tucks them in the pocket of his suit. "First of all... you," he turns to Chris Flynn. "After what happened at Malice in Wonderland, last week you did nothing, and I mean NOTHING to redeem yourself last week."

Flynn takes off his sunglasses now, nodding slightly in agreement but looking a bit angry as well. "So I got you a match tonight, and you're going to get in this ring and prove yourself to your leader, and your brothers." Flynn nods.

"Now, secondly, we have... an invitation to extend," Hawkins continues as all five men start to look a little happier. "So, if I could have Freddy Huggins and his lovely sister come out to the ring... we have a question we'd like to ask you."

4S7WrE0.jpgQ6eqZdG.jpg

Freddy and Laura Catherine Huggins make their way into the arena and join The Syndicate in the ring, with the crowd eating up Laura's act during their entrance as always.

"Welcome, welcome, Freddy, you see last week... we gave you a little gift as a token of our, let's say, mutual appreciation for you as a performer. You truly are a great asset to TCW... one could even say you're an elite level athlete here, seeing as you've pinned the World champion and all..."

"Let me stop you right there," Huggins tells Hawkins. "I'm not blind, I know what happened last week... but, unless you're blind yourself, you knew that I didn't need any help in beating Aaron Andrews and earning a TCW World title shot at The War to Settle the Score!"

"Easy, kid," Flynn tells Huggins, cracking his knuckles.

"Woah, woah, woah... World title shot? No, see, you need to get in line for that! BUT! But..." Hawkins says, trying to let cooler heads prevail. "We didn't invite you out here to argue about all of that... so you didn't need my help, okay, you didn't need it... but I wanted to give it to you. Because, Freddy, WE want you to join us! We want you to be part of The Syndicate, Freddy Huggins and Laura Huggins, part of the most elite, exclusive club in all the wrestling world. What do you say?"

Freddy and Laura whisper back-and-forth to one another for a moment, the crowd not sure how to take this... Freddy is getting some face reactions from fans begging him not to join up with Wolf Hawkins and his ilk.

"What do I say?" Huggins asks, letting the question hang in the air for a moment. "What do I have to say?" he repeats. "Well, what I say is... maybe. What I say is... what have you done for me lately?"

"What are you talking about?" Hawkins seethes. "What about last week?"

"Yeah, that was then, this is now, and tonight we've got a tag team match against the World Champion, who, uh, I've pinned and... you haven't," Freddy teases as the entirety of The Syndicate seethe with Doc holding Flynn back. "So what say you and me focus on tonight, pick up a win, and then we'll talk some more about me joining your little club."

Hawkins doesn't look pleased, but he hesitantly nods in agreement before Huggins' music hits for his exit and we head to commercial.

CHRIS FLYNN

VERSUS

DEAN DANIELS

Chris Flynn makes short, dominant work of Dean Daniels in order to prove himself to The Syndicate for his recent failures. He picks up the win with the Flynn-Lock.

WINNER: Chris Flynn (3:30)

MATCH RATING: 39

T-BONE BRIGHT

VERSUS

"THE HITMAN"

ERNEST YOUNGMAN

W/ VENUS ANGELETTI

Youngman has been on a roll since arriving in TCW, but T-Bone was ready for him from the jump. These two got the crowd into a hot brawl as they went back-and-forth, Angeletti occasionally running interference to allow The Hitman to gain the upperhand. The finish saw Youngman setting up for The Hit, but Bright leveling him with a T-Bone Lariat on rebound to pick-up the win.

Following the match, Angeletti jaws at T-Bone long enough to distract him for The Hitman to retrieve a chair and wallop Bright with it as revenge for the loss.

WINNER: T-Bone Bright (7:39)

TCW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH

GREG GAUGE ©

VERSUS

"THE BUZZSAW"

FRANKIE PEREZ

These two tried to turn it up, but never really got going despite a decent flow to the match. At several points when Gauge had the upperhand, he began screaming at Perez about how he wasn't worthy of being in the same ring as The Second Generation Superstar but that only served to drive Perez to compete even harder. Perez definitely looked like he belonged, but in the end he couldn't get it done and tapped out to the Proton Lock.

Following the match, Gauge angrily put the boots to Perez and kicked him out of the ring before calling for a microphone.

"That piece of trash isn't worthy of competing in MY ring, and none of you are worthy of watching ME compete!" he berates the crowd. "Every week I come out here and grace you with my presence, and every week I get fed garbage like Benny Benson and Frankie Perez! I want REAL competition, you hear me Championship Committee?! Show me that TCW is worthy of The Second Generation Superstar!"

WINNER: Greg Gauge (11:58)

MATCH RATING: 58

POST-MATCH RATING: 46

<hr>

BFDink1.jpg

Floyd Goldworthy is out next, telling us he's searched the country for the greatest tag team he could find, and tonight is the night. His team has competed around the world, and held gold wherever they've been; TCW will be no different.

abOlkJ4.jpgwLogVxq.jpg

"For those of you who may not be familiar, these men are The American Cobras! Beware the Cobra Strike!" Goldworthy warns as his charges take the ring.

vV4FMuy.jpgJXj4qY7.jpg

The Dogs of War's new entrance music and the sounds of dogs barking & growling fills the arena; Goldworthy is irate at the hefty challenge his new charges must face on their first night in the company.

THE DOGS OF WAR

(ONE MAN ARMY & HUMAN ARSENAL)

VERSUS

THE AMERICAN COBRAS

(STORM SPILLANE & MARVEL MALLOY)

In what proved to be the match of the night to this point, The Dogs of War and The American Cobras put on a clinic for the crowd. Spillane and Malloy got several nice reactions from some of their signature spots, proving they aren't complete unknowns and that they belong in there with a team like One Man Army and Human Arsenal. In the end, though, the onslaught of The Dogs of War is too much and Goldworthy's new team falls to the Bulldog Missile.

WINNERS: The Dogs of War (8:02)

Aaron Andrews is backstage to hype tonight's tag team match where he will team with Sammy Bach to take on Wolf Hawkins and Freddy Huggins.

"The Ace and The Rock God are going to cancel Freddy's membership with The Syndicate on night one," Andrews states. "Because they're going to turn on you like the wolves they are when your team fails tonight, Freddy."

PROMO RATING: 71

Before Andrews can get much else out, the cameraman is knocked over as two teams brawl into the frame.

24gegRW.jpgXG7AGA6.jpgovPJTR7.jpgbwFNAlQ.jpg

The Behemoths and The Mighty are still at war, with Killer Shark and Titan having the upperhand when a new camera is able to focus on the action. Titan has thrown Tana into the set dressing, while Killer Shark is pounding away on Mighty Mo. Andrews simply walks away from the situation, the teams still going at it as we go to commercial.

SEGMENT RATING: 67

rKWGkKG.jpg

Jay Chord is out next to talk more about his destiny, and how the time is almost at hand.

"Tonight, I snuff out another flame that doesn't burn as bright as mine," he tells the audience. "Tonight, the party is over."

PROMO RATING: 73

tXthfOE.jpg

Edd Stone, The 24 Hour Party Animal, enters the arena and tells the camera on his way to the ring that the party is never over.

JAY CHORD

VERSUS

EDD STONE

Edd Stone turns in a valiant effort, keeping the crowd on his side and having them believe he's seconds from the win many times. But, as has been customary lately, it's all Jay Chord in the finish and he puts an end to the match with a particularly nasty looking Cradle Piledriver.

WINNER: Jay Chord (14:58)

MATCH RATING: 81

Jay Chord doesn't have long to celebrate his victory before the music of Sammy Bach fills the arena.

1Thm9R4.jpg

"No more attacks, no more destiny," Bach rants as Chord looks on smugly from the ring. "I'm tired of you, and I'm tired of all your bull----!" The announce team are shocked at Bach's language, but Saunders points out that it just goes to show how serious he is about ending things with Chord. "The War to Settle the Score, you and me, one more time... may the best man win, and may that be the end of things!"

"It'll be the end of things, Rock God," Chord mocks. "But only because it'll be the end of you! I'll see you there!"

PROMO RATING: 87

<hr>

JOSHUA TAYLOR

VERSUS

BENNY BENSON

In a match clearly designed to get the crowd ready for the main event, Benson looked to get his more serious character over by going toe-to-toe with Taylor. But, like most of the others recently, Benson found no escape when he was cinched into the Butterfly Lock.

WINNER: Joshua Taylor (13:11)

MATCH RATING: 70

<hr>

AARON ANDREWS & SAMMY BACH

VERSUS

WOLF HAWKINS & FREDDY HUGGINS

In a killer main event, The Ace and The Rock God squared off against The Alpha Wolf and The Syndicate's current recruit. The overwhelming story of the match was The Syndicate's recruitment attempts, always attempting to make Freddy look good and do everything short of get caught cheating to help him. The faces shine as well, Bach & Andrews wowing the crowd with some high flying spots and inside-to-outside dives. The end of the match sees Hawkins and Chris Flynn on the outside taking out Aaron Andrews behind the referee's back which allows Huggins to pick up a pinfall over Sammy Bach with a Huggins Kiss to score the win for his team.

WINNERS: Freddy Huggins & Wolf Hawkins (17:34)

MATCH RATING: 82

AUTHOR'S NOTE

============

The overall grade might be a little off because in-game I accidentally put the main event in the wrong segment, so Taylor vs Benson main evented as far as the game is concerned. But the segment ratings are all correct.

I'd be interested in those kinda peeks! It would add a new layer to the diary I feel.

I'll keep posting them when something good pops up! So far my backstage incidents had all been poker tournaments and wrestler's court, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a good protege relationship pop-up; Hammond should help out an already good Smooth.
