landonwilson2 Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 We are trying to download the updated version of this game to windows and it keeps deleting everything and saying errors and making us redownload. I have uninstalled everything pertaining to this game. Went step by step of downloading the game, went to the link here in the forum and did the update there and it still says the error. Scott Vibert Posted December 26, 2020 Share Posted December 26, 2020 The error regarding elicense40.dll means you are double clicking on the patch and therefore are trying to run the game from the wrong folder. The patch is not an installer. It is the actual game .exe To install, simply unzip the file and use the TEW2020.exe you find inside to replace your existing copy (usually found in Program Files > GDS > TEW2020).
