Quite a few of my old favourites I read are lost which is such a shame, especially for the writers themselves. It's 100% informed my decision to keep my diary in PDF form to protect against something like that in the future. I seem to remember a couple of diaries being posted turned into PDFs years ago but sadly I can't imagine it's common for people to have them backed up?
