CWB Reborn

In small town on the outskirts of Boston a man is on the phone talking with his lawyer. In the background a television can be heard. It sounds like an old wrestling taping from the territory days.

The Announcer on the TV in the background: Sullivan with the massive right! Henson side steps, and throws his own right! Sullivan falters back! These two are putting on an all out brawl!

Lawyer (on the phone): Are you sure you want to do this?

???????:Yes, I have dreamt about this my whole life.

Announcer: The action spills outside of the ring! These two are putting everything on the line for the CWB Championship!

Lawyer (on the phone): This is a lot of money that you could put to good use. It would be a shame to throw it away…..

???????: Throw it away?! Throw it away?! I grew up hearing stories of the sold out shows my Dad used to go to where Ed Henson would give people hope. Corporal Doom, Wild Man Sullivan, The Boston Bomber, English Bill Reginald all were larger than life! They Made people forget about the hard times. People at the shows were not worried about The Soviet Union and the possibility that a nuclear war could happen at any moment, but instead were completely immersed in the story being told.

Announcer: HE HAS DONE IT! ED HENSON HAS BECOME A 5 TIMES CWB CHAMPION! THE CROWD IS ON THEIR FEET IN AMAZEMENT!

Lawyer: When you brought this to me I did some research. There is a surplus of wrestling promotions in the United States. SWF, USPW and TCW aren’t even the only ones you would be competing with in New England. SWF has a developmental promotion in Rhode Island. I do not see this company lasting the year.

??????: Look, I appreciate your concern. But, this is my decision. I am using the money from the settlement and bringing wrestling back to Boston. CWB will be reborn!

Authors Note: I'd like to thank all of the creators on the forums for their mods and graphics. I am using both the Yet to Debut Mod, The Women's Expansion Mod, and the Titan Factory mod. I am using belts made by Reaper, renders made by King Bison, SMW, Shipshirt, and London as well as many others. Also I was inspired to write this by reading Historian's No Ordinary Men Diary.

Also if anyone is interested in helping with a graphic or belt here and there it would be appreciated!

Figuring out guys I want on the roster, and who to be my staff has been the easy part. Charles (FKA The Boston Bomber) had agreed to sign on as my head road agent and as a a "company historian". I had signed only people who did not have a contract with another company so that I would not have to be worried about dealing with conflicting dates early on, but felt confident they would mesh well as a roster.

The hardest thing for me to figure out has been what to do about championships. I purchased the rights to the CWB Championship when I gained all of the company’s properties. Do I put that belt that has been on some of the great workers from the territory days? Or do I keep it retired and start from scratch? I’ll have to speak with Charles about it, I mean he did hold the title himself so he should have a good perspective.

---------------------------------

yY96PRwdiOa6yn

Davidson: I don’t know if I have an answer for you!

???????: Really, you don’t have an opinion whether I should bring the title back or not?

Davidson: I do have one, I just don’t think it is the opinion your lead road agent should have. As someone who held the title I would find it tough to see that title on an independent wrestler. But as your advisor I would say it would give the guys who do hold it a huge boost and could help establish them as the face of your rebranded company.

???????: What if the guy I wanted to put that title on was an established star....someone who has name recognition across the country not just in New England?

Davidson: I would say....sounds expensive...

??????????: Yeah, well he will be expensive but we went through our roster and really need a guy that could be the draw as we develop the younger guys we have signed.

Davidson: OK, well if this is a worker of the caliber you are insinuating then why is he not snatched up already?

??????????: Well he has been around the block a couple of times and has miles on his body. He has definitely taken his fair share of bumps but he is a consummate professional. He worked for one of the big 3 for many years so he has the reputation needed.

Davidson: If you want I can talk with him and see if I think he is the right man to continue the legacy of the CWB Championship?

??????????: Charles he already has you number, you should expect a call in the coming days.

Authors Challenge: Who is the mystery signing? (First person who guesses correctly will have the opportunity to name one of the events later in the year.)

The roster was pretty much all set there was one last guy that I was running by Charles:

diOa6ynyY96PRw

Davidson: So you’re looking for another road agent that can serve as a veteran worker on the roster as well?

??????: Yeah, I want someone who can work with the women and men, help them put their matches together as well as lead by example in the ring...unless you are willing to get back in there I was thinking about Art Reed.

Davidson: Hah! You’re funny, I think I’d break in half. Reed could be a good option though, what would your main use for him be in the ring? I guess that depends on the type of roster you want to maintain. I know we have our initial list but is it going to be a concrete list of men and women, or a continuous flow of talent?

??????: To start I want to have a good mixture of ages with a lot of younger talent cycling through. I want this to be a place for opportunity to grow and develop. Reed would be one of my two or three 40+ year old workers that would hold down the Main Event scene while we get the rest of the roster established. I know he isn’t huge in the states, but I respect his work and think he’d be a good fit.

Davidson: What other old vets are you looking at?

???????: I have Brady Prince signed as an experienced guy. He won’t be a championship level worker but he will work up and down the card to start with, and I have come to terms with the other worker that we talked about.

Davidson: It sounds like Reed could work well then, I think we have our roster for opening night! Should we announce the card?

???????: I think today is the day. I am going to blast our social media platforms and our webpage with the lineup for CWB Fresh Start around 6:00PM Eastern Time!

Peterson: Welcome to the resurrection of CWB!

Montgomery Sr.: I could not be more excited to be here with you Jamie to begin this journey.

Peterson: the feeling is mutual Rob. Hello everyone I am Jamie Peterson and this is Robert Montgomery Sr. my partner and we are here to bring you the first event since CWB was reborn.

Montgomery Sr.: Yes and this event was aptly named Fresh Start as this company of the past begins anew with five great matches!

Peterson: Before we get the show started, I would just like to make a request to the people who are emailing and calling me with requests asking who the owner of the company is. Please stop! I do not want to get fired and want to work in this amazing company for years to come.

Montgomery Sr.: Yeah! Stop asking! (whispers) Wait, you know who the owner is?!

Peterson: ....And now onto our first match:

Angle Grade:34

Art Reed & Arthur Dexter Bradley v. Jules Night & Reilly Patton

Art Reed & Arthur Dexter Bradley are standing in the ring across from Jules Night and Reilly Payton. The two teams kick off the new era of CWB. This match was clearly designed to get the crowd worked up and ready for the rest of the show. Art Reed was made to look strong and defeated Night using the Dread Lock.

Match Grade: 24

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A camera in the back catches an altercation between Jack “Prime Time” Pryde and Christopher Ball:

cQKHsR8pAdMh2c

Ball: You SON OF A B****! You think my MMA career is an embarrassment?! How about you say that again!

Pryde: Oh it is more than a joke, you couldn’t even last 4 years! I bet you don’t have guts to face me tonight in a match of my choosing. When you lose you will understand why they call me Prime Time!

Ball: Oh I accept, and when you lose I don’t want to see your face in my vicinity again or it will be imprinted with my fist!

Angle Rating: 28

kuRYcwP v. nAY9WMF

Urena Frost v. Sabrina Wells

Cold as Ice by Foreigner plays as Urena Frost enters the arena

Montgomery Sr.: Urena Frost is a very talented young woman who should be a staple for our woman’s division for the coming years.

(Wells Entrance)

Peterson: Wells the former AAA Tag Champion matches Frost’s potential and could be a big contributor to CWB!

The two women had a fairly even bout. They went back and forth with each looking strong and showing their strengths to the CWB crowd. Frost ends up getting the win with her vicious cradle DDT seemingly out of nowhere and getting the 123.

Match Rating: 27

After the Bell Heathens by Rivals plays and out comes Christina Charlston:

Charleston: Urena Frost, I have heard so much about your fabled DDT but after watching that abysmal match I really do not see what the big deal is. How about next week you find a friend and I’ll grab a friend and we can see if you can pull it off.

Frost: My Cradle DDT is called the “Finnish Her” for a reason. Once I hit you with it you won’t get up. Next month you will see just how devastating a DDT can be!

Frost and Charlston stare each other down before Charlston finally returns to the back.

Angle Rating: 23

cQKHsR8pAdMh2c

After a short intermission Limitless by Logic plays and Jack “Prime Time” Pryde comes out from the back walking with swagger and confidence.

Montgomery Sr.: And here comes the man who calls himself Prime Time because he says he was born destined to be a megastar wrestler.

Peterson: “Prime Time” definitely has his share of confidence but also has the natural athleticism to go with it so we shall see if he can back up his personal attacks on Ball from earlier in the night.

The crowd comes to their feet when they hear Rubber Band Man play from The Spinners.

Peterson: And here comes Christopher Ball! He has a 4-4 MMA record and is looking to really commit to the transitioning to professional wrestling.

Montgomery Sr.: ...This might be the worst choice for an entrance song ever!

Peterson: Oh come on Monty, his nickname in the MMA was rubber because he would always bounce back. He looks locked in as he grabs a mic while he enters the ring.

Ball: OK, Prime Time. What is your stipulation? You know it won’t matter, because I am ending you regardless!

Pryde: There is a reason why in our business guys like you don’t last. You think this is about two men stepping in the ring and one coming out victorious. This isn't the MMA, and things are not as simple in our industry.

Prime Time pauses to add emphasis on what he is about to say next.

Pryde: So, if you were only able to win only half of your matches in that arena, then how are you going to deal with us?....

As he delivers that last line Monster by Skillet plays and a massive man pops through the curtain.

https://imgur.com/a/KSI5F1h

Peterson: ITS DIAZ! James Diaz the son of the monster is in CWB!

Pryde: Hopefully after tonight you will realize that you are in a whole new world and your old job was a lot simpler than your new one!

cQKHsR8https://imgur.com/a/KSI5F1h v. pAdMh2c

Jack "Prime Time" Pryde & James Diaz v. Christopher "Rubber" Ball

Pryde & Diaz face off in a handicap match against Ball. Ball and Pryde started the match off with Ball using his technical skills to keep Pryde away from his tag partner. Ball had an answer for every offensive move Prime Time tried until Prime Time raked the eye of Ball when he was not looking. Pryde escaped Ball’s clutches and tagged in Diaz who was able to spear the distraught Ball. Diaz picked Ball up twice, suplexing him into the turnbuckle and then dragged him towards Pryde. Diaz tagged Pryde then performed a standing splash, rolling out of the ring after. As Diaz rolled out Prime Time jumped from the top rope delivering a vicious elbow for the victory.

Match Rating: 17

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Kids Aren’t All Right by The Offspring plays as Kid Fantastic comes out from the back greeting the crowd.

Montgomery Sr.: This kid has a good look and energy, but is too smiley for my liking.

Peterson: Kid Fantastic is one of the more daring wrestlers in the US that no one knows about. Signing with CWB is a huge opportunity for him.

Forgotten Sons by Rise Against Plays as Leftie Wilkes appears from being the curtain.

Peterson: I spoke with Wilkes prior to his match and asked him about his entrance music, he said that he chose this song because he often feels overlooked and forgotten because of the success of his brother. He wants to make a name for himself here in CWB and make people remember his name.

Montgomery Sr.: A chip on the shoulder is the greatest motivator in our sport, I am looking forward to seeing his journey here in CWB.

https://imgur.com/a/gWxdD9J v. C4r1ucF

Leftie Wilkes v. Kid Fantastic

The bell rings and the two babyfaces lock up. This match is not a technical masterclass but an explosive high flying affair. Both men share a strength in taking risks and going to the air. Both men got some strong offense including a beautiful Swanton by Kid and a between the ropes spear by Wilkes. In the very competitive fight Wilkes was able to pick up the win.

Match Rating: 22

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After their match Fantastic and Wilkes show each other respect and shake each other's hands.

eN4xkbD

Fletcher: What the hell is this? You two are shaking hands after fighting each other? You see this is what is wrong with Americans. They all think they can punch each other in the face and then be friends after. Leftie, I had respected you from your time in 4C with me but are you this desperate to get out of your brother’s shadow that you are willing to suck up to your opponents to trick people into thinking you’re nice?

Wilkes: I am shaking his hand because he is a good young wrestler and I wanted to show that I thought he fought well. You can compete and be friendly to people.

Fletcher: Next month I face my former tag team partner who won gold with me and I will put him into the ground and walk away when I win.

Fantastic: I am sorry I can not take you seriously seeing what you are wearing….who are you supposed to be a man on vacation to Hawaii?

Fletcher: I just told you I am facing a former champion and you focus on my outfit...oh Kid you’ve got so much to learn. If you must know, yes I used to be considered a “pretty boy” in my prior companies but I decided that since I was working in a company that never saw the 80’s I would dress like the only successful American person from the 80’s, Magnum P.I. Now I will expose every wrong in this company like the detective I am and my first case is “The Case of the Naïve Nobodys”. So Kid, watch your back. I am coming for yah.

Angle Rating: 19

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peterson: It is time for our Main Event!

Montgomery Sr.: I cannot wait to see Allen and Prince in action tonight both said they are motivated to make a statement tonight.

52F0yjs v. jodw41P

Harry Allen v. Brady Prince

Ride On by AC/DC plays as Harry Allen makes his way to the ring. He is greeted by the cheers of those in attendance. Those cheers quickly turn to boos when Brady Prince attacks from behind and slugs Allen in the back of the head. Prince tosses Allen into the ring and the match is on

Prince stays on Allen as the bell rings and continues the assault. Prince, a former champion in his own right appears to have felt slighted by all of the fan fare behind Allen’s signing and him being seen as an afterthought. Eventually, Prince makes a mistake and tries to go to the middle rope when Allen is able to counter his attack and Allen takes control from there. Although the 42 year old has more bumps in his rearview than are in front of him, he looks crisp. He is able to dominate the remainder of the match and is able to put Brady away with his flying fist and get the 123!

Match Rating: 31

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hate by Jay-Z plays as Art Reed plays and Allen looks towards the entrance. Art Reed comes out to congratulate Allen.

dxnezs652F0yjsBeLKWfN

Reed: Congratulations Harry, you won the first main event of CWB since 1978! Man, I have always admired how successful you have been in your career…….considering how untalented you are!

As Reed finishes his last line Arthur Dexter Bradley Attacks from behind and Reed joins him, they stomp him to a pulp and Reed locks him into The Dread Lock until he is motionless.

Reed: Allen! You have been an overachiever your entire career! And I have always been OVERLOOKED! You may have made the headlines, but I will be the Headliner!

Reed drops the mic and walks to the back with ADB.

February 2020

In two weeks CWB will hold their second live event CWB Heartbroken. Oscar Ozy (FKA Oscar Ozymandias) will fight his former RIPW Tag Team Champion partner Bryan Fletcher (FKA Raphael). Fletcher is looking to prove that the heart has no place for friendship in wrestling! Also Art Reed has issued an open challenge to any American cowboy to fight on the behalf of Harry Allen who will be out for at least a month after being put on the shelf after Reed’s attack from Fresh Start. Sabrina Wells also will face off with her former tag team partner Ruby Reece. Christina Charlston and Brady Prince will also be in action! Below is the match card for the event!

Also there will be some narratives posted before the next show which I think will go up on Monday or Tuesday, so get your predictions in! Also thank you for those who predicted last show! I am going to keep track of people's predictions and after the June show the leader will get a decision reward!

Backstage after CWB Fresh Start Charles Davidson addresses the roster.

z5y8f3k

Davidson: When I was asked to deliver a post show speech my first reaction was “Have you seen one of my promos from the 70’s?”

The roster chuckles as Davidson smirks

Davidson: In all seriousness over 40 years ago CWB was a powerful promotion that many of the best workers of the time worked for. We had respect and then we fell… Today was the first step towards rebuilding the glory of this company. Congratulations to all of you, and I can’t wait to build on this first step.

As Davidson finished he walked over to talk with Art Reed & Rob Montgomery Sr.

z5y8f3kdxnezs6dM9drMr

Montgomery: Nice speech old man!

Davidson: Haha, did I age myself a little there?

Reed: No! Monty is a little jealous because he wanted to be the one to make the speech.

Davidson: Be my guest next time, you know how that’s not my thing.

The vets have been a part of a lot of different shows in their careers but the way they were carrying themselves and interacting with one another it felt like they all needed this show.

Davidson hadn’t been actively involved with a wrestling company since the late 80’s and was very unsure about helping rebooting the company that put him on the map. He had worked with most of the younger guys in helping them put together their matches and angles and really enjoyed working with Diaz.

Reed at age 44 has not found the type of success you would expect from a man of his talents; he had gained success overseas and some success in his home country of Canada, but in the States he is fairly unknown. Reed had been entrusted with starting and capping off the reboot event. He had won his match and started a main event level feud with Harry Allen hoping to spark interest in the company and set an example for the younger workers to know how a veteran wrestler acts and how they respect their colleagues.

Montgomery Sr. has tried to immerse himself in the business he retired from far too early due to injury (which Davidson understands and why he has spent extra time working with him). “Monty” as the workers call him had been struggling to adjust. He opened his own training facility where he is training his kids to follow in his footsteps. At the same time the process has made him miss being in the ring even more which has noticeably impacted the amount of drinks he consumes at parties such as these.

Cameron: Gramps! That was awesome!

L3hq0gA

Cam comes over to congratulate his grandfather

Charles: I agree, the men and women put on a great show. Cameron, this is Robert Montgomery Sr. and Art Reed. Guys this is my grandson Cameron.

Cameron: I am so honored to meet both of you! Gramps I am so proud of you! I was wondering, could I meet the new owner…..? I want to….

Charles: Cam, we went over this your father would never forgive me!

Montgomery: Cameron, I am sorry but the identity of the owner is a secret, only a handful of us know who they are!

Cameron: I know, I just wanted to talk to them about working here! I am 17 now and once I convince my gramps to train me, I want to work in the company that he helped build!

Charles: Cameron, I am sorry I have told you once and I will tell you again I will not be training you.

Charles Davidson walks away to grab another drink

Montgomery: You know….Cameron if you are serious about getting in the ring I have my own wrestling school. Right now I am focusing on training my kids but my two oldest are almost ready to graduate. Once they do if you want I could train you…

Reed: Monty, do you really think that is a good idea? Charles won’t be too happy.

Cameron: I’M IN! Thank you so much Mr. Montgomery. And Mr. Reed I appreciate your concern, but I am my own person who can make my own decisions.

Reed: OK Kid, it’s on you. And please….call me Art.

As Charles headed back to the group Monty slipped Cameron his card and told him to reach out in a couple of months.

January 2020

eN4xkbD

It was a late Saturday night when Raphael got the call. He didn’t know this at the time but he was one of the only workers the owner had called personally. He was told that he was one of the most miss managed talents in the history of RIPW, and that they wanted him to join CWB.

Raphael who’s real name is Bryan Fletcher was assured that he would be booked as a central piece in the soon to be resurrected CWB. He would be used as a single act consistently for the first time in his career. Something he begged for in both RIPW and 4C but he was told that he didn’t have what it takes to carry a match or a segment on his own. Instead he saw most of his former tag partners go on to singles success. Justin Sensitive is on the SWF main roster as a singles talent and Oscar Ozy was RIPW Champion. He felt he was just as good as them if not, he thought he was better. He attributes his prickly nature to his constant mistreatment by bookers. He hasn’t tried to make friends with anyone in the business in a long time.

February 2020

Fast forward a month and Raphael now known as his real name (Bryan Fletcher) has begun to redefine himself. His whole career he had been type casted as this pretty boy snob who was seen as the side kick of his tag partner. Now he was being told he was going to be a main piece in the show and he’d be supported by the owner and booker which is something he had never experienced.

Fletcher chose his gimmick with a simple idea in mind. He didn’t want to be seen as a pretty boy, and no one would mistake him for that now. He felt like he was on to something and refused to ask for advice or for people’s opinions. There were really only two other people he considered friends in the business. Both of them he suggested should be hired....time will tell if the owner acts on the suggestion.

This looks really very intriguing, I’ll be following along. Good luck!

My guess is Chris Caulfield

He was going to be my first choice but just a little too expensive. He also jsut decided to retire so that would have been unfortunate.

Main Event: Brady Prince v. Harry Allen

Opener: Art Reed & Arthur Bradley Jr. v. Jules Night & Reilly Patton

Art Reed is one of my favorite Indy guys so gotta go with him

i totally agree Art is a hidden gem I use in most of my North American games.

Yep agreed vey good first show.

And btw back in the day Rubber band man was a great song at Skate King. Even Casey Kasem love it on AT40

So much classic in one sentence.

Good first show. You got it up before I could predict but I really enjoyed it!

I'm sorry! I was trying to get it up quick so people could get a sense for what shows would be like.

Delay on the show had to work on my thesis (sorry for the delay), it should be up tomorrow or Thursday so feel free to get last minute predictions in! (If people would like to guess the cowboy they could get bonus points!) if you’ve already predicted and want to do that you can just edit your previous post.

Peterson: Welcome everyone to CWB Heartbroken, where friendships are tested! I am Jamie Peterson, joining me is my partner Robert Montgomery Sr! Now Monty what matchup are you looking forward to the most?

Montgomery: You know I looked up and down the card and couldn’t find a weak link. All of these matches are intriguing but the one that stands out the most to me is our main event. Bryan Fletcher has come to CWB to redefine himself and to make people look at him differently. Beating his former tag team partner, who is also a former RIPW Champion Oscar “Ozy” Ozymandias would help convince us that he is the real deal.

Peterson: A great choice Monty, if I had to pick a match it would have to be our opener. Sabrina Wells will face off against Ruby Reece. The two are former AAA tag champions and this could be a big opportunity for one of them towards establishing themselves within the woman’s division.

Sabrina Wells v. Ruby Reece

BMWiKgb v. NaqVZRU

The Edge by Tonight Alive plays as Sabrina Wells enters the arena. Wells joins Reece in the ring where the two shake hands before the fight. The two wrestle for a fairly competitive match, throughout though it was apparent that Wells was a step ahead of Reece. Wells clearly did her homework and was able to put away Reece after hitting a beautiful Wells Kick (Super Kick) right to the jaw. Afterwards the two parted ways without any issue.

Match Rating: 22

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peterson: What a great match!

Montgomery: Wells really looked strong…….

Christina Charlston interrupts Monty and grabs his headset.

Charlston: YOU KNOW! I knew Frost was scared, but I didn’t think she would fake an injury in order to avoid fighting me! I guess I will have to take it out on the person who was going to be her partner!

Christina Charlston v. Joanna Silver

wjI3Mr6 v. eVhRWB6

Charleston makes her way down to the ring where Joanna Silver is waiting for her. Silver lost last week but earned the respect of Frost and was going to be her tag partner before Frost got injured. Silver played the part of the babyface trying to fight back very well. There were a couple of times where after enduring a lot of punishment Silver would gain momentum with her athleticism only to be cut down by Charlston. It was very clear that the crowd was behind Silver who even got a near fall after Chalrston ran into a beautiful dropkick from the pirate. Eventually though Silver got caught by Charlston’s C-Cutter and Charlston got the win.

Match Grade: 21

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Out of pure rage Charlston starts to beat down Silver, She hits a second C-Cutter and is about to go for a third when Urena Frost comes down to the ring to stop her. Frost in no shape to stop her rival pleads with her to stop:

WpbV1Cw

Frost: What are you doing?! You beat her, this is uncalled for!

Charlston: UNCALLED FOR! You went back on your word! This all can be over if you promise me a tag match next month at Into the Badlands, and if you back out you have to leave CWB!

Frost: Fine! You find a partner and Silver & I will meet you in the ring! Now leave her be!

Charlston with a sly smirk

Charlston: See you next month!

Charleston hits one last C-Cutter on Silver and walks away.

Angle Grade: 30

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rubber band man plays as Christopher Ball walks down the ramp.

Peterson: Ball has hate in his eyes, he seems to still be fuming from the loss last month at Fresh Start.

Montgomery: I would be mad too! He was hoping that he could start off with a win, but Prime Time & Diaz duped him!

Brady Prince v. Christopher Ball

YRBV6Sd v. pAdMh2c

Christopher Ball faced off with the veteran Brady Prince, Prince did a great job making Ball look like a force. Prince got some decent offense in as well but it was clear this match was to get Ball on the right track. The match ended when Ball hit his Superman punch and got the pin on prince.

Match Grade: 21

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hate by Jay Z plays and Art Reed slowly walks down to the ring with a different level of swagger than last month. It seems he has gained a new level of confidence after beating Harry Allen so badly that he couldn’t fight tonight. It also helps that he has his sidekick ADB with him. When he gets in the ring he grabs a microphone.

Reed: You all know what I did to Allen last month. He is out of commission because of me! That is on all of you! You may have overlooked me in the past, but I will make sure you can’t look past me anymore.

The lights dim as a figure walks towards the ring.

Peterson: ITS BLAZE

Montgomery: The MAW Champion is in CWB to accept Reed’s challenge!

Art Reed v. Bradley Blaze

dxnezs6 v. hIPBlUq

Blaze walks down to the ring leaving his hat and MAW Championship on the steps. He stares down ADB before he enters the ring, sending a message to not get involved. As soon as Blaze enters the ring Reed tries to jump him. Blaze is able to fight him off and puts Reed on his back quickly.

Reed recollects himself after rolling out of the ring and talking things over with ADB. Reed enters the ring and complains to the ref that Blaze shouldn’t be here. Blaze lets down his guard and responds to Reed. Reed takes the opening and clotheslines the MAW champion. Blaze tries to get up but Reed pummels him with rights.

Reed drags blaze to the corner where he begins kicking him straight to the temple. The ref eventually pulls Reed off of him after reaching a count of 4. As the ref is scolding Reed ADB smashes Blaze over the head with a lead pipe. Reed then drags Blaze into the center of the ring and puts Blaze out using the Dread Lock and gets the win!

As Reed walks down the steps he picks up Blaze’s hat and spits in it and walks to the back.

Match Rating: 32

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Private Eyes by Hall & Oates as Bryan “Fletch” Fletcher makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a microphone and addresses the crowd.

Fletcher: Before my former partner comes down here to lose I would like to get a couple things off of my chest. First, Leftie Wilkes and Kid Fantastic….. You two are two faced. I have an unnamed witness who I put in witness protection for their own safety, who told me that both men were sh** talking the other behind their backs. So…..yeah…...I was right they aren’t really friends.

Before Fletch could go one with his rant Ozy came out.

Ozy: Look Raph…. I mean Bryan, I get it you are jealous of people who are more successful and don’t need to stab other people in the back. But, it’s getting kind of sad that you made up a “fake witness” to prove your point. What happened to you?

As Ozy enters the ring Fletcher goes to speak into the microphone but instead hits a low blow on Ozy and demands the ref start the match.

Angle Rating: 16

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

gAxl8mS v. YpLCRvH

Bryan Fletcher v. Oscar Ozy

The referee signals the start of the match and Fletcher gets the upper hand on Ozy early but Ozy is able to battle back. The former RIPW Champion is definitely past his prime but is still able to work a solid match. About ten minutes into the match Ozy went for the Oz Breaker two times and Fletch was able to avoid getting plastered with it. Ozy began to build momentum again getting Fletcher with consistent Lariats, and when he went for the Oz Breaker a third time Fletcher raked Ozy’s eyes and hit Cupid’s Arrow for the win.

Match Grade: 32

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Fletcher headed down the ramp, Peterson got up and brought a microphone into the ring.

Peterson: Thank you all for coming tonight, we have one last announcement to make! Next month the owner has decided to book two qualifier matches. The winner of those two qualifiers will face off at Boston Strong to determine the NEW CWB CHAMPION!

Fletcher stops at the top of the ramp to hear the end of the announcement.

Peterson: The two co-Main Events will be: Harry Allen against Arthur Dexter Bradley! And the second will be Art Reed facing Leftie Wilkes!!!!

Fletcher throws a fit, the crowd can hear him screaming even without a mic.

Fletcher: HE’S A NAIVE FRAUD! I SHOULD BE IN THAT MATCH!

Fletcher starts throwing chairs around to end the show.

Angle Rating:21

SHOW RATING: 30
