With a lot of my workers being younger, some of them are bound to happen. Though Billy Robinson, Logan Diaz, and Furusawa are three incredibly painful and plan changing ones. The Furusawa one was especially heart breaking as it happened so soon on the tour and completely changed the main event of the next show.</p>

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>CILL Mexican Champion Aztec Prince made his SAISHO debut here. In a decent match, Masashi Urogataya and Ogai Miki defeated Ritsu Ibata and Wataru Kikumoto in 10:02 when Masashi Urogataya pinned Wataru Kikumoto with a Jumbo Backdrop Suplex. 41

Urogataya scored a third straight victory on the tour and looks to be building momentum from his Roll with the Dragon loss to Shimizu. Urogataya has said he wants championship gold and even though this was a win over two young lions, it continues to show his versatility and skill.

In a decent match, Aztec Prince defeated Naruhiko Koizumi in 13:51 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb. 42

In his second match on the tour, Aztec Prince picked up another victory with his Triple Powerbomb. He’s being presented as a dangerous competitor whose power should fit in nicely here in the Tiger division.

In a decent match, Generation First Time (MUSCLE Serizawa, Isoruko Arakaki, Torch Nakazawa and Kinji Akamatsu) defeated European Dragons (Lenny Mochin, Pavel Vanzycha, Nigel Svensson and Aurelian Bradley) in 17:53 when Isoruko Arakaki pinned Aurelian Bradley with a Lariat. 47

All four members of Generation First Time would like to get back into the title hunt and a win over four members of the European Dragons goes along way in getting their momentum back in the right place.

In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake defeated The Diamond Dogs in 16:06 when Motoyuki Miyake pinned Motty Kuroda with a Knock Out Kick. 56

Club Miwa representatives KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake scored a big tag win. It’s rumored that they are looking to make a run at the tag titles or enter in the A-1 Tag Team Grand Prix later this year and a win over the very talented Diamond Dogs has them set up nicely.

In a decent match, Makioka-Gun (Zeshin Makioka, Danjuro Kikuchi, Koichi Kajiwara and Noritaka Imakura) defeated American Impact (Ox Mastadon, Dreadnought, James Diaz and Hammer Hadley) in 19:49 when Zeshin Makioka pinned YL Hammer Hadley with a Destiny Fusion. In terms of in-ring work, Zeshin Makioka was head and shoulders above everyone else. 48

Zeshin Makioka’s Makioka-Gun picked up another big victory, this time over American Impact. The Destiny Champion and the Ride the Tiger Champion had a great exchange that could preview a future singles match between the fearless Destiny Grand Champion and the 400 pound monster that is the Ride the Tiger Champion.

Warriors Tour Night #4 in SAISHO Square, Sendai, Tohoku Region

Mon. Wk. 2 Aug. 2020

In a decent match, Golden Resurrection (Azumamaro Shimizu, Ichiro Mitsukuri, Koyo Kinoshita and Ryobe Uno) defeated Shogo Awatari, Goro Hatamoto, Kawanari Enomoto and Taiji Chajima in 15:35 when Azumamaro Shimizu submitted Taiji Chajima with a Figure Four Necklock. In terms of in-ring work, Azumamaro Shimizu was head and shoulders above everyone else. 43

Modern Day Warriors teamed up with Taiji Chajima in this contest to take on Golden Resurrection, but the team of young lions were no match for their opponents. While the match went just over fifteen minutes, it was controlled by Golden Resurrection with the young lions having small spurts of activity but this mostly being a showcase of the team work and arsenal of moves that Golden Resurrection has at their disposal.

In a decent match, Black Iron Corps defeated Ritsu Ibata and Wataru Kikumoto in 14:15 when Azumamaro Kita submitted Ritsu Ibata with a Cross Arm Breaker. 49

Black Iron Corps picked right up where they left off before Azumamaro Kita’s back injury with another win here. They were very convincing though Ibata and Kikumoto were able to get in some good offense. Kikumoto, in particular, looks like he might be close to graduating from Young Lion status and had some really good exchanges with Kita and Narahashi, but Black Iron Corps was too much for the young lions.

In a decent match, Aztec Prince defeated Ogai Miki in 14:23 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb. 41

In a rematch from earlier on the tour, Aztez Prince was able to once again defeat Ogai Miki. The CILL Mexican Champion has looked red hot this tour and looks like he fits right in to the Tiger Division with his hard-hitting offense. Prince is not a big aerial wrestler and while he has the mask and history of a luchador, he doesn’t have the graceful style SAISHO audiences associate with lucha and that makes him a very interesting member of the SAISHO roster.

In a good match, Kenko Takemitsu, Quick Kick Nakao and Masashi Urogataya defeated Lethal Strong Brigade (Gidayu Katou, Akira Arato and Tobei Sugimura) in 21:04 when Quick Kick Nakao pinned Akira Arato with a Double Footed Stomp. 51

The main event saw Takemitsu, Nakako, and Urogataya get a big win. Urogataya has a lot of momentum and has continued to build momentum throughout the tour while Nakao and Takemitsu are both headed towards title opportunities at Warriors and the win here over Lethal Strong Brigade continues to establish them with SAISHO’s faithful.

Warriors Tour Night #5 in SAISHO Square, Sendai, Tohoku Region

Thur. Wk. 2 Aug. 2020

In a decent match, Arakaki & Serizawa defeated Wataru Kikumoto and Taiji Chajima in 9:49 when Isoruko Arakaki pinned Taiji Chajima with a Lariat. Taiji Chajima was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. 39

In the final tour show before the Warriors finale, former SAISHO Destiny Tag Team Champions Arakaki and Serizawa got an impressive win over the two young lions. Kikumoto continued what he has shown on the tour -- which is that he is starting to be more and more competitive with the veterans of SAISHO but Chajima continued to only have small flurries of offense. With the A-1 Tag Team Grand Prix still to come this year, Arakaki and Serizawa look like they are focused on making sure they are in shape to win that.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Quick Kick Nakao and The Diamond Dogs defeated American Impact (Ox Mastadon, Dreadnought and James Diaz) in 15:47 when Quick Kick Nakao pinned James Diaz with a Double Footed Stomp. Dreadnought was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. 44

Dreadnought suffered a minor injury to his rotator cuff during the match. The big second-generation fighter will be able to work through the injury. This match was a preview of one of the big title matches at Warriors with Quick Nick Nakao and Ox Mastadon sharing the ring for several good, physical exchanges. Ultimately though, it was the experience of Nakao and the Diamond Dogs that were able to overcome Ox’s young lion partners.

In a decent match, Aztec Prince defeated Torch Nakazawa in 13:38 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb. 39

Aztec Prince continues to pick up momentum in SAISHO with another win. On the four tour shows he appeared on, he went 4-0. This could be signs that SAISHO has big plans for the international worker or that SAISHO wants to show a lot of respect for the newly formed IWA by presenting one of the champions of another company strongly.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Lethal Strong Brigade (Azumamaro Kita, Fujio Narahashi, Gidayu Katou, Akira Arato and Tobei Sugimura) defeated European Dragons (Nigel Svensson, Lenny Mochin, Pavel Vanzycha, Irwin Gutmann and Aurelian Bradley) in 23:40 when Azumamaro Kita submitted Aurelian Bradley with a Cross Arm Breaker. 51

Irwin Gutmann made his SAISHO debut. The German-Canadian grappler was employed by UEW until recently and happened to move to Japan. When Nigel Svensson saw that Gutmann had chosen to relocate to Japan to give a Japanese career a chance, he brought lobbied to have Gutmann brought in as the new fifth member of European Dragons -- since Billy Robinson is on the shelf. Throughout the match, Vanzycha and Gutmann showed a lot of team work and it could be that these two will become the primary team of the faction while Nigel and Lenny focus on singles careers. Lethal Strong Brigade were able to get the win in what was a great flash of tigers and dragons with the heavy striking of LSB contrasting against the joint-aching grappling of the ED. In the end, Kita scored another big victory, using his Cross Arm Breaker to force a submission and show himself to be a versatile worker.

I appreciate the new writing style you’ve adopted inspired by Dark Raider. It gives me connection and story to the wrestlers themselves rather than just a wins/losses tracker. Also gotta compliment the Tigers and Dragons seperation, instead of separating people by weight, by style is a creative way to do so. It gives a new way to present people and puts guys all on an even playing field in their specific division. Yet adds something to both Destiny titles since those are the combinations belts.

Also thanks for the shout out for the Venue Expansion! It was a long road but we came together and got it done.

Club Miwa [KAZ & Miyake] versus The Diamond Dogs

The Warriors Tour Finale started off with a tag team match that could be a main event. Former two-time Destiny Tag Team Champions The Diamond Dogs were stepping into the ring with Club Miwa representatives KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake. There was a lot of star power in the match with the A-1 Tag Team Grand Prix coming up at the end of September and October, both teams were looking for a win here on a big stage to help get their momentum in the right place to make a run in the A-1 Grand Prix -- as both teams expect to be in it. KAZ started things off for his team and set the pace of the match. Mr. SAISHO lived up to his name with several springboard moves that really got the audience buzzing. He tagged in the younger Motoyuki Miyake who also looked very good in his offense that was a barrage of strikes that landed hard on each of the Diamond Dogs. Jimmy and Motty were able to seize control of the match; however, and spent the last several minutes working Motoyuki Miyake down with their hybrid style, blending top rope moves with submissions and hard strikes. Ultimately, Jimmy Stratosphere hit the Sweep DDT on Miyake and the Diamond Dogs got a big victory.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and good heat, The Diamond Dogs defeated KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake in 18:29 when Jimmy Stratosphere pinned Motoyuki Miyake with a Sweep DDT. KAZ carried the match in terms of in-ring performance.

Generation First Time versus European Dragons

The eight-man tag team match was next. Two factions went at it in a solid contest that really allowed all eight men the chance to showcase their signature stuff. Generation First Time was hard-hitting and in your face while the European Dragons looked to try to ground their opponents and use painful submission holds to force a surrender. Torch Nakazawa was particularly impressive, especially when he debuted a brand new spot that really wowed the audience and announce team. He lifted Lenny Mochin up for a Brainbuster, but then spun him around into a neckbreaker variation that just looked wicked. It almost won the match for the team, but unfortunately the European Dragons all came into the ring and preventing the pin from being made. In the end, Nigel Svensson’s Hyper Extension Arm Lock forced Kinji Akamatsu to submit.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, European Dragons (Nigel Svensson, Lenny Mochin, Pavel Vanzycha and Irwin Gutmann) defeated Generation First Time (Kinji Akamatsu, Torch Nakazawa, Isoruko Arakaki and MUSCLE Serizawa) in 15:33 when Nigel Svensson submitted Kinji Akamatsu with a Hyper Extension Arm Lock.

Aztec Price versus Shiba Mizoguchi

Aztec Prince has been on fire this tour -- having yet to be defeated as he comes into the match with veteran Shiba Mizoguchi. Prince has started earning some recognition from the crowd and he came out to the ring with his CILL Mexican Championship, though this was not for that title. The veteran Mizoguchi controlled the early part of the match with hard strikes and attempts at various Crab-style submission holds. Prince weathered the early storm and launched into his strikes and hard slams. He threw forearm after forearm into Mizoguchi and hit a Jumping Knee Strike that looked like it took Mizoguchi’s head off before he hit a Press Slam and a Triple Powerbomb for the impressive win.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Aztec Prince defeated Shiba Mizoguchi in 11:53 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb.

Urogataya & Sarumara versus Black Iron Corps

Veterans Masashi Urogataya and Sotatsu Sarumara made their first appearance as a tag team here against Black Iron Corps. This was a last-minute match that was put together after Furusawa suffered the major concussion that will keep him out of action for over a year. Originally, Azumamaro Kita was going to wrestle Furusawa in what was sure to be an excellent contest, but this match didn’t disappoint. With the A-1 Tag Team Grand Prix just over a month away, Urogataya and Sarumara could be looking to enter the tournament while Black Iron Corps are surely looking to build continued momentum for the tournament. The match was physical and intense and both teams really took it to one another. Sarumara took the brunt of the offense from Black Iron Corps and sold the story of being a veteran trying to make it back to the big leagues. This was his first match in awhile and he sold being rusty. Black Iron Corps hit their Black Iron Lariat combo which allowed Azumamaro Kita to get the pin on Sotatsu Sarumara and score the victory for his team.

In a superb match, Black Iron Corps defeated Masashi Urogataya and Sotatsu Sarumara in 24:25 when Azumamaro Kita pinned Sotatsu Sarumara with a Black Iron Lariat. Sotatsu Sarumara was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Challenger Quick Kick Nakao versus 18th Champion Ox Mastadon

Our first of three championship matches. Veteran Quick Kick Nakao was looking for his first championship win of his nineteen-year career. Big Ox Mastadon looks to continue his run as champion against a hard-hitting opponent. This was a story of Quick Kick Nakao’s speed and precision against Ox’s raw power and size. Nakao tried to take out the legs of Ox Mastadon with hard kicks. He darted in and out of range so that Ox couldn’t get a hold of him. The big gaijin was finally able to get a grip on Nakao and it was all Ox from there on. He used big slams and slow, powerful offense to control the pace from here on out. He hit his big powerslam and Ten Ton Splash to get his second title defense.

In a decent match, Ox Mastadon defeated Quick Kick Nakao in 14:34 by pinfall with a Ten Ton Splash. Ox Mastadon makes defence number two of the SAISHO Ride The Tiger title.

Challengers The Forlorn Hope [Makioka & Kajiwara] versus 24th Champions The Golden Bulls

The Tag Team Title match was up next. Destiny Champion Zeshin Makioka was teaming with his longtime partner Koichi Kajiwara. The two men were twice tag team champions in WEXXV and presented a real challenge to The Golden Bulls. The wear in tear on Kajiwara’s body was evident throughout the match. His knee was the target of the Golden Bulls offense. While neither Bull is known for being a technician, the two big men did their best to take Kajiwara’s knee apart. He sold as best he could and when Zeshin Makioka came in to the ring the quality of the match stepped up. The Destiny Grand Champion showed exactly why he is the Destiny Champion when he brought the fight to both Bulls. He hit several big elbows that rocked the tag champs and tossed them across the ring with big slams. In the end, Koyo Kinoshita hit Koichi Kajiwara with a Belly to Belly Suplex and got the pinfall victory.

In a good match, The Golden Bulls defeated The Forlorn Hope in 14:03 when Koyo Kinoshita pinned Koichi Kajiwara with a Belly To Belly Suplex. The Golden Bulls make defence number two of the SAISHO Destiny Tag Team titles. Zeshin Makioka carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. Koichi Kajiwara was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Challenger Kenko Takemitsu versus 1st Champion "The Golden Dragon" Azumamro Shimizu

The main event of the evening pit “The Golden Dragon” Azumamaro Shimizu up against solid technican Kenko Takemitsu. Takemitsu spent a lot of time with the Stone family in Canada (including being a former NOTBPW Young Lion Champion) and works with a lot of the Stone family technical style. It made for a very good technical clash against the man who has ruled the dragon division with an iron fist. The two men exchanged holds and worked on various body parts in a classic dragon-style clash. Takemitsu hit a series of suplexes on Shimizu that looked like they had the Golden Dragon in trouble, but the Golden Dragon was able to weather the storm and hit his own flurry of tear-drop suplexes. Takemitsu sold his neck and Shimizu was a dragon who smelled blood. He locked in his Figure Four Necklock and his reign will continue.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Azumamaro Shimizu defeated Kenko Takemitsu in 22:49 by submission with a Figure Four Necklock. Azumamaro Shimizu makes

defence number six of the SAISHO Roll with the Dragon title.

Mito Miwa was joined at the press conference by Destiny Crown Champion Zeshin Makioka, Azumamaro Kita, Azumamaro Shimizu, as well as Ox Mastadon.

Mito Miwa started the press conference by announcing that the Dream Clash tour will consist of eight shows and the Dream Clash finale show that will be Saturday Week 3 of September. The main event of Dream Clash will be Zeshin Makioka putting the Destiny Crown Championship on the line against Azumamaro Kita.

Makioka took over from there. He spoke about how he won the Destiny Crown Championship a year ago at the Dream Clash event. In the past year, he has set a record pace for championship defenses. He's defended the title seven times so far and when he takes on Azumamaro Kita that will be his eighth defense and his sixth of the year.

Azumamaro Kita spoke about his history in SAISHO. Three times he has been Destiny Crown Champion. He's been one of the pillars of SAISHO since he got here and he is looking forward to the challenge of slaying the prowling tiger. He has respect for what Zeshin Makioka has done in SAISHO, but to Kita he's still an outsider. Kita wants to bring the title home to a true SAISHO pillar.

Makioka fired back at Kita and said that while his career might not have started in SAISHO he has done nothing but represent SAISHO as the Prowling Tiger and he will continue to do so. At Dream Clash, he's going to shut Kita up and prove that Makioka is the true ace of SAISHO.

Mito Miwa stepped in before things got out of control and said that Azumamaro Shimizu requested a chance to wrestle Sotatsu Sarumara. Sarumara accepted the match on the condition that it be a title shot and Shimizu accepted.

Shimizu took over and said that he takes pride in being the best dragon, the true dragon, and no dragon should ever walk away from a challenge. Sotatsu Sarumara is a great wrestler. A great dragon, and Shimizu wants to prove that the dragon division is his and his alone and Dream Clash provides that chance.

Ox Mastadon snarled his way through a translated run down of Aztec Prince. The undefeated luchadore is Ox's next challenge in a battle of the ultra physical gaijin. At Dream Clash, Ox will put the Ride the Tiger Championship on the line against Aztec and Ox promised to make sure work of the masked wrestler.

Mito Miwa took back over and said Dream Clash will also present the Young Lions Cup. Ten young lions will compete across Dream Clash in a Round Robin Tournament to prove who is the toughest of the young lions and who is ready to rise above their young lion status and enter the regular ranks of wrestlers in SAISHO.

The competitors in the tournament are:

Block A

  • Goro Hatamoto
  • Iron Hyodo
  • James Diaz
  • Noritaka Imakura
  • Wataru Kikumoto

Block B

  • Taiji Chajima
  • Kawanari Enomoto
  • Ritsu Ibata
  • Hammer Hadley
  • Shuga Amano

I wanna say Diaz is the safe bet here, but that part about no longer being a young lion confuses me. Diaz is far from shedding that skin, as is everyone else on that list. Only exception is Hammer Hadley for who I'm not that sure, so I'll say you go with Hadley to establish him. Diaz is already quite established and will have more time to grow further.

-Kita needs a new definition of what representing SAISHO is. Just cause he’s a pillar is a nice title but the true title is held by The Prowling Tiger. The domination as champion by Makioka will only continue and he will continue to be a strong representative for SAISHO. Maybe until a Swift Dragon takes the Tiger down. Would be fitting with the separation of Tigers and Dragons. Makioka being the perennial Tiger.

- I hope Shimizu gets a wake up call that he isn’t the only Dragon. He may be the best right now but the division is more than him. The cocky champ needs to be knocked down a peg and Sarumara will hopefully do that.
