Gets caught with a drop kick that sends him outside. Blue hits a suicide dive to the outside. Fear Driver from Fearless Blue ends the match. WINNER: FEARLESS BLUE RATING: 18 THE HOT TAGGS ISSUE AN OPEN CHALLENGE; PEPPER PELTON ANSWERS WITH BOB CASEY The Hot Taggs enter the ring. They call for any team to come and try and take these titles off of them. Pepper Pelton makes his way to the ring and introduces Bob Casey as his partner. RATING: 7 MMW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN CHALLENGE THE HOT TAGGS © VS PEPPER PELTON AND BOB CASEY Pepper Pelton carries the bulk of the offense for his team. Ultimately Bob Casey is isolated by the Taggs and some underhanded tactics that prevent Pepper from tagging in mean that The Taggs retain their titles. WINNER: THE HOT TAGGS RATING: 21 MAIN EVENT CAGE OF RAGE MMW CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS MATCH LION HEART VS TAHEIJI KONOE VS CONNER THREEPWOOD VS DREADNOUGHT VS OZZIE GOLDSTEIN It doesn't take long for this match to descend into chaos. Lion Heart is eliminated first when Ozzie Goldstein hits a Golden Shower. Threepwood is eliminated next by Taheji Konoe and Dreadnought. Konoe and Dreadnought appear to make a pact to eliminate Goldstein and then face eachother. As Konoe turns towards Goldstein, Dreadnought grabs him and bashes his head into the cage. Dreadnought eliminates Konoe and then puts himself between a cowering Goldstein and the door. Goldstein gets in the face of Dreadnought who then smiles and steps aside opening the cage. Goldstein Exits and wins the match and the number one contendership. WINNER: OZZIE GOLDSTEIN RATING: 35 SHOW RATING: 29 NOTES FROM THE BOSS: I really expected a much better in ring performance from Mr. Bob Casey. I don't think I'll be having him back anytime soon. Dreadnought is developing very quickly. He was not far behind the other members of the main event in terms of in ring performance. Overall we continue to grow at a steady rate. Goldstein explains that before last months match, he struck a little bargain with Dreadnought to ensure his victory. The two have formed an alliance that will ensure he walks away successful tonight and no one will stop them. Rating: 34 OPENER SINGLES, ONE FALL "DETROIT'S OWN" BASH STREET VS EL LOCAL Making a special, one night only appearance Bash Street gets a great reception from his hometown crowd. Street makes quick work of El Local and picks up the win. Winner: Bash Street Rating: 24 GRUDGE MATCH SINGLES, ONE FALL DANGER MAN VS PRIME TIME JACK PRYDE Prime Time Jack Pryde and Danger Man circle each other and square off. Pryde is still clearly feeling the sting of last months defeat. After exchanging some moves, Danger Man starts to get the upper hand and build an offense. Pryde gets frustrated and rolls out of the ring saying he doesn't need this. Pryde leaves and is counted out. Danger Man gets the victory. Winner: Danger Man Rating: 13 MMW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TAG TEAM, ONE FALL THE HOT TAGGS VS LION HEART AND PEPPER PELTON Pepper Pelton looks to try for the tag team titles again with a different partner tonight. The four men brawl throughout the ringside area and into the crowd but at the end of the match it is clear that the Taggs chemistry and experience make them the better team. Wolfie Tagg gets the pin with the Montanna Slammer on Lion Heart. Winners: The Hot Taggs Rating: 21 MAIN EVENT MMW CHAMPIONSHIP TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS "THE SAVAGE BEAST" JAVA w/GIANT REDWOOD VS "PRETTY BOY" OZZIE GOLDSTEIN w/DREADNOUGHT w/w/ Goldstein talks with Dreadnought before getting in the ring. It quickly becomes clear that Dreadnought is going to be a problem for Java tonight, leading to Giant Redwood getting in the rookie monsters face. Dreadnought drops Redwood with a big right hand. In the ring Java continues to dominate Goldstein but loses focus after seeing Dreadnought drop his manager. This brings out Taheiji Konoe! Konoe brawls with Dreadnought, at ringside while Java returns focus to the match. As Java goes for the pin he is suddenly mobbed by Prime Time Jack Pryde and the Hot Taggs! Referee Dale Kenney calls for the bell! Winner: Java Rating: 38 GOLDSTEIN, DREADNOUGHT, PRIME TIME JACK PRYDE AND THE HOT TAGGS BEATDOWN GIANT REDWOOD, JAVA AND TAHEIJI KONOE! The match over, Goldstein directs traffic as Dreadnought and the Taggs beatdown Konoe, Java and Redwood and Pryde jeers them on the mic. In the end, the five men stand tall in the ring. Rating: 37 SHOW RATING:33 NOTES FROM THE BOSS: Bash Street coming in to pop the crowd for a night was a nice gesture. He's out of USPW but onto big things I'm sure.
