He decides to go his own way, and open a promotion which truly honor his father. Would he open another MAW clone? Would he try to go national? What kind of product would he use? Kamchatka Posted July 26, 2022 Share Posted July 26, 2022 To tease it out a little, why does he think his father doesn't get enough respect, and what sort of respect does he think he -should- be getting that he isnt? Who does he think is slighting his father (and by extension himself?) Importantly he doesn't have to be correct about his assertions, it may be his own arrogance and self-entitlement that hes masking from himself behind his vision what his father is "owed". Does he think MAW is too small a legacy for the Chord name? Does he feel slightly ashamed that his Dad went the route of running something small time like MAW? Does he want to take MAW and turn it into the Number 1 promotion to 'secure' his families name. or Does he want to make a new promotion that will eradicate the blemish that is MAW and take over the wrestling world and demand respect? I love both options because in my mind theres a point where Sam Keith is like "Dont do this kid" and Jays response is "its over old man" and you get that flip happening where he loses sight of the pretence that its about his father, and it just becomes about himself.
