LETHAL Steel Fury Road Tour #5 Results:

MATCH 1: Chojiro Ono def. Sugita Kamoto

ChojiroOno.jpg.b89d27d19b7b33c8c17624a6b8ad549a.jpg VS SugitaKamoto.jpg.14801ecb8adcac12e4b80d11ca52e7ac.jpg

  • The young heavyweight really shone in this match, knowing he needs to be impressive.
  • Ono relished the show of fighting spirit and really challenged Kamoto to give his best.
  • After a close call from a backdrop, Ono was scrambling to take back control, and a brutal lariat steadied things up, before he ended things with a Tsunami (Pounce) in 10:12.

43 Rating

MATCH 2: Hiro Date def. Tsutomu Honda

HiroDate.jpg.86901581f1fb1f9f61bfd83795c8dcc9.jpg VS TsutomuHonda.jpg.523d2032313bff5f97a23d7604721699.jpg

  • Date was looking for a similar display from Honda, but Honda decided on his usual strategy. Seems like he prefers himself to get angry before he really gets going.
  • That however does not work as well against one of the heaviest hitters in the history of puroresu. Even when he went absolutely ballistic with intensity, it felt like he was a couple moves away from demise.
  • Which is what happened after  Date got him with a Painkiller lariat in 9:21.

MATCH 3: Butcher Hachirobei, Sheikh Abdul-Wahid and Shi Yuuto def. Kyushichi Mizumaki, Nobusuke Takabe and Soh Terajima

  • With absolute fire in his eyes, Sheikh Abdul-Wahid totally dominated the proceedings of this bloody deathmatch.
  • The sledgehammers were brought out for this one for the first time in this tour, alongside the usual weaponry that accompanies these occasions.
  • The Sheikh of destruction choked Soh Terajima using a lead pipe and pinned him in the middle of the ring, while staring daggers at the Chalice of Blood holder. (10:37)

MATCH 4: Magobei Morita & Masa Kahaya def. Arnoud Vox & Sumiteru Hatakeda

MagobeiMorita.jpg.e0068c4add4df34bf379f2237bb792fc.jpg MasaKahaya.jpg.194ffcc109ed988198429920f99d708f.jpg VS ArnoudVox.jpg.37d15624a93cf8f04affa720850b96d4.jpg SumiteruHatakeda.jpg.9d2beeea8a0e0ff84f9b0594314937b4.jpg

  • With the help of the sublime Magobei Morita who had his first match of the year, Masa Kahaya overcame the teamwork of Vox and Hatakeda.
  • Kahaya’s fighting spirit was unmatched as he fought through everything to get the hot tag to Morita, before swooping in at the end with a kendo stick to send a message.
  • Morita was kind enough to tag the champ back in, who pinned Hatakeda with an Impaler in 12:34.

MATCH 5: Fujimaro Tansho & SOSEKI def. El Segador & Yokai Dragon

FujimaroTansho.jpg.b42573cd893e51b0cea24c6db33fa64c.jpg SumiteruHatakeda.jpg.9d2beeea8a0e0ff84f9b0594314937b4.jpg VS ElSegador.jpg.35c6405577de495e6a078575cd9322f5.jpg YokaiDragon.jpg.3ad7837309015e1818ac2ee58357bee0.jpg

  • We have contenders to the Tokyo Wrecking Crew! And it was fought with blood.
  • The masked madmen really gave the Bloody Hand duo everything they had, even wrapping a table in barbed wire and hitting a double suplex on SOSEKI through it, but Fujimaro Tansho’s tendency to use any possible weapon saved them.
  • Using a cut-off sink from…who knows where he gave Yokai Dragon immense head trauma and got the winning pin. (15:02)
  • After the match, the Bloody Hand members promised to destroy the Tokyo Wrecking Crew, get the Unity of Blood belts and show everyone once and for all that The Bloody Hand runs LETHAL, and LETHAL is still a deathmatch company more than anything else! (49 rating)
