Dynamite starts with a video of what happened when the last episode went off air:

 

After Omega's video message for Moxley, PAC used the distraction to attack Mox from behind with a chair again.

 

Hangman Page makes his entrance and helps Moxley and then demands one more opportunity to defeat PAC at Full Gear.

 

Moxley leaves the ring area and a camera follows him to Tony Khan's office. From outside, we hear that Tony Khan says if Omega is cleared to compete at Full Gear they will face in an unsanctioned match. Moxley doesn't like the fact this match will be unsanctioned and says Tony Khan is trying to protect Omega's record and his blood will be on Tony's hands.

#1: AEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Final)

 

 w/

LUCHA BROTHERS (REY FENIX & PENTA EL ZERO MIEDO) vs SCU (FRANKIE KAZARIAN & SCORPIO SKY w/ Christopher Daniels)

Rey Fenix and Scorpio Sky start a match that is as fast-paced and athletic as you would expect from the beginning. This is the final and they all make clear the importance of the match. SCU keep up with this rhythm and try to counter using their tactics and team work. Kazarian and Penta tag in and after the "Zero Miedo" chants they both produce some high-impact moves and, after an attempted pinfall for each side, they need to tag again. Lucha Brothers are on attacking mode and they hit the LB Driver on Scorpio Sky, but SCU manage to avoid the 3 count. Kazarian tags in, but Fenix keeps the advantage with a frog splash and tries to pin Kazarian after a Fenix Driver for another near fall. Lucha Brothers hit the LB Driver again and Fenix pins Kazarian again... 1, 2, 3! Christopher Daniels can't believe another opportunity for SCU to win a title slips out of their hands. The "mexikings" Lucha Brothers are the first AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Tony Schiavone interviews Hangman about his match against PAC at Full Gear. Hangman says he was injured in their first match at Double or Nothing and failed at Fight For The Fallen in their second match, but he is still the right person to finish PAC's undefeated streak.

HIKARU SHIDA vs NYLA ROSE

Shida struggles to get much offense early in the match as Nyla is putting a dominate performance. Then Shida connects a couple of kicks and a diving dropkick that hurt Nyla, but then Nyla reverses another high-flying move by Shida and hits a powerbomb. Nyla attempts a pinfall after a running splash but Shida kicks out at 2. Finally the Beast Bomb is too much for Shida and the "Nature Beast" gets the win by pinfall.

Sammy Guevara interrupts to challenge Cody to a match tonight. Cody accepts.

MJF & BEST FRIENDS (CHUCK TAYLOR & TRENT) vs QT MARSHALL & BEAVER BOYS (ALEX REYNOLDS & JOHN SILVER)

Best Friends came out dressed like Rick and Morty and then MJF came out dressed like The Devil, one of Rick and Morty villains, this was for some TNT tie-in. As you would expect this isn't going to last long, each wrestler has a couple minutes of action before MJF and QT Marshall tag in. MJF honors his devil costume and pushes QT Marshall against the referee, who falls to the ground. QT Marshall tries to find out if the referee is OK, but MJF hits a low blow and wins the match by pinfall.

MJF & BEST FRIENDS def. QT MARSHALL & BEAVER BOYS (Rating: 43, Time: 10:00)

 

 

Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho come out to the stage to sign the contract for their AEW World title match at Full Gear.

Cody signs and Jericho pretends to jump in for an attack but he laughs and says this match is too important to put in jeopardy with a brawl tonight.

Jericho signs the contract saying this is Cody's biggest match ever and he will find he's not as good as he thinks he is.

Jericho offers his hand to Cody. Cody shakes it and they stare at each other for a few seconds.

Jericho says they could stand there all night but Cody might be needed elsewhere.

Guevara appears on the video screen and says he wants Cody to see something.

 

Outside the venue, Guevara watches as Jake Hager beats up Dustin Rhodes. Hager slams Dustin's arm in the limo door. Cody runs to help Dustin.

KIP SABIAN (w/ Penelope Ford) & THE HYBRID 2 (ANGELICO & JACK EVANS) vs HANGMAN PAGE & THE YOUNG BUCKS

The match is full of spots and fast-paced action since the beginning. Evans and Nick start the match. Then Angelico and Matt tag in and each team brings great offensive team moves and some aerial maneuvers. The Young Bucks are already putting on a show of Superkicks before Sabian enters the match and hits a calf kick on Matt. Hangman finally is legal and takes over the match with his powerful strikes. After a Buckshot Lariat that leads to chants of "Cow Boy Shit" Hangman attempts to pin Sabian, but he kicks out at 2 and tags Jack Evans. Hangman still dominates the match and hits the Dead Eye and this time nobody can stop the 3 count.

HANGMAN PAGE & THE YOUNG BUCKS def. KIP SABIAN & THE HYBRID 2 (Rating: 53, Time: 23:00)

 

 

Jon Moxley cuts an in-ring promo. He is cool that there will be no rules in his match with Omega at Full Gear, but he's angry that it won't officially count in the record books.

He doesn't like that Tony Khan treats him like a freak while he protects Kenny Omega.

He says if Tony Khan thinks he's been out of control, he hasn't seen anything yet.

MAIN EVENT:

 

CODY RHODES vs SAMMY GUEVARA

Cody faces Inner Circle's Sammy Guevara and he isn't happy about what they've done to his brother before. Cody is strong and consistent from the beginning and Sammy tries to keep the distance. After a drop down punch and a dropkick, Sammy has had enough and steps down to the ringside, where Jericho comes out of the crowd to give him a lighter. Guevara hits Cody with the lighter and pins him for the victory, but somehow Cody kicks out at 2! Jericho can't believe it. Cody does the Cross Rhodes and pins Sammy for the win. Cody Rhodes and "Le Champion" Chris Jericho look at each other from the distance as Cody makes gestures of putting on the belt.

#1:

JURASSIC EXPRESS (LUCHASAURUS & JUNGLE BOY w/ Marko Stunt) vs PRIVATE PARTY (ISIAH KASSIDY & MARQ QUEN)

Private Party do a fantastic job early on to weaken Luchasaurus, but they don't find ways to rest and recover on the apron. Jungle Boy finally tags in and gets some offense at first and attempts to pin Kassidy. Private Party survives in the match during their worse moments before hitting an incredible diving splash & legdrop combination, but Jungle Boy survives. Private Party continue to show their impressive team combinations before they hit the Gin & Juice on Jungle Boy and Marq Quen pins him for the win.

PRIVATE PARTY def. JURASSIC EXPRESS (Rating: 47, Time: 18:00)

 

 

After the match, Lucha Brothers head to the ring and hold their AEW World Tag Team titles.

 

 

Private Party and SCU look on and a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team titles at Full Gear is announced.

KIP SABIAN (w/ Penelope Ford) vs PAC

Sabian has a promising start in this match. Penelope Ford cheers him from the outside and PAC yells at her, this makes Sabian furious and they start to kick each other. Sabian shows heart but "The Bastard" absorbs what offense Sabian throws at him. PAC hits a 450 splash and even if Sabian survives the count, this starts to look different. PAC tries to submit Sabian and he survives the Brutalizer too, but the Black Arrow is too much for Sabian. PAC wins by pinfall. Sabian lost momentum during the match but overall looked good, while this was a srong performance by PAC heading to the PPV. After the match, Pac tells everyone to shut up. Pac addresses Hangman Page and says he will once again make an example of him at Full Gear.

PAC def. KIP SABIAN (Rating: 51, Time: 12:00)

 

 

Cody heads to the ring where Tony Schiavone is waiting for him.

Cody has an announcement to make, but first he talks about wrestlers who have also been in management positions and the controversy some people feel with that.

Cody gets emotional as he starts to talk about his own journey from “undesirable to undeniable.” He says Jericho and his Inner Circle won't control AEW's future.

Cody announces that if Chris Jericho defeats him he will never challenge for the AEW World title again.

RIHO & HIKARU SHIDA vs DR. BRITT BAKER D.M.D. & JAMIE HAYTER

Riho and Britt start the match. Riho does a great job early on, but Baker and Hayter surprise everyone when they prove to be a very solid team. It seems that in their last week's match Jaime Hayter made a big impression on Britt. Shida and Hayter have some of the highlights of this match when they collide and high-impact moves happen all over the place. Shida and Hayter show an impressive combination of strength and agility. Riho and Britt tag in. After some tag team moves with Hayter, the doctor takes her glove to use the Lockjaw to submit the champion for the win. Britt makes a big statement before Full Gear.

DR. BRITT BAKER D.M.D. & JAMIE HAYTER def. RIHO & HIKARU SHIDA (Rating: 48, Time: 10:00)

 

 

Jon Moxley comes out to challenge Omega to face him at Full Gear even if the doctors don't clear him to compete.

He says if it will be an Unsanctioned Match there is no reason to need doctors permission.

"Tony Khan is afraid of what I might do to his boy. And you know what? There are good reasons to be afraid".

SHAWN SPEARS (w/ Tully Blanchard) vs JOEY JANELA

Janela gets a little offense to start the match, but then "The Chairman" Shawn Spears takes over. This could be a squash, but Spears wants to inflict more damage to Janela. After a face stomp, Spears hits a frog splash and then a spine buster. Janela is in problems. Shawn Spears submits Janela with the Sharpshooter to end his agony.

SHAWN SPEARS def. JOEY JANELA (Rating: 42, Time: 10:00)

 

 

Tully Blanchard gives a chair to Shawn Spears while Janela is still on the ground defenceless.

 

Dustin Rhodes comes out to help Janela before he gets hit and Shawn Spears leaves the ring. They look at each other from the distance.

#5:

 

JON MOXLEY vs STU GRAYSON

Stu Grayson tries to be physical to begin the match and they brawl outside the ring. Grayson gets some offense before Moxley hits a Paradigm Shift that leaves Grayson cold out. Then Mox forgets about his opponent and looks to the crowd defiantly while they boo him. He hits another Paradigm Shift on Grayson, who doesn't even move at this point. Again he faces the crowd and says "you like Omega? you like Tony Khan?" as the crowd boos him louder.

"I hear the battle cry,

under the devil's sky,

the one winged angel screams,

it fuels my hopes and dreams,

the best battle machine.

Are you ready for this?"

Kenny Omega makes a surprise entrance and the crowd goes crazy.

Moxley smirks and decides to finish off his opponent and submits Grayson without opposition.

JON MOXLEY def. STU GRAYSON (Rating: 55, Time: 15:00)

 

 

Kenny Omega takes a microphone. He says the doctors have told him he won't be able to compete at Full Gear. Moxley smirks again.

"But... I will face Jon Moxley at Full Gear, no matter what the doctors say".

The crowd erupts with the announcement.

Moxley takes another microphone to say he doesn't believe the injury is real and that Omega is making excuses to justify he will be defeated. Moxley says Tony Khan and Kenny Omega made up this story about an injury because Omega was afraid after what he did to him at Double or Nothing.

Moxley asks Omega if he wants a preview of what he has in store for him for their Unsanctioned Match.

Omega heads to the ring, but half of the roster come out to quickly separate them before they can even touch each other.

We can see clear signs that Omega is still injured when they are separated.

MAIN EVENT:

 

CHRIS JERICHO & SAMMY GUEVARA vs CODY RHODES & HANGMAN PAGE

Sammy Guevara gets beat up by Hangman Page early on the match. Cody and Hangman do a nice job as a team and Guevara is in problems. Cody tries to pin Guevara but Jericho helps his partner. When the action is in the ringside Jake Hager attacks Cody behind the barricade. Hangman tags in but Guevara again takes the match outside of the ring, where PAC is going to appear to attack Hangman from behind. Both Cody and Hangman have been attacked before Chris Jericho tags in and attempts to unsuccessfully submit Hangman with the Walls of Jericho. After a Codebreaker it seems Hangman has nothing left in the tank, Jericho hits the Judas Effect and pins Hangman to win the match.

CHRIS JERICHO & SAMMY GUEVARA def. CODY RHODES & HANGMAN PAGE (Rating: 61, Time: 21:00)

 

 

After the match, the Inner Circle beat up Cody and Hangman Page.

 

The Young Bucks come out to help them but they are neutralized by Santana & Ortiz.

 

Kenny Omega comes out with a barbed-wire broom and this time the Inner Circle have to leave the ring.

Then Moxley comes out with another barbed-wire weapon of his own.

Omega and Moxley brawl with each other and Omega is seriously wounded before The Young Bucks make Moxley leave the ring. They check on Omega and call the doctors.

FULL GEAR 2019 PREVIEW:

 

#1:

THE YOUNG BUCKS (MATT JACKSON & NICK JACKSON) vs SANTANA & ORTIZ

 

Inner Circle's Santana & Ortiz attacked The Young Bucks after their match against Lucha Brothers at All Out. Then Santana & Ortiz made their debut teaming up with Inner Circle's leader Chris Jericho in a trios match in the first episode of Dynamite defeating The Young Bucks and Hangman Page. These tag teams ended brawling in the last episode of Dynamite. This match is something both tag teams have long waited for.

 

#2:

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS vs JAKE HAGER

 

Double or Nothing's Casino Battle Royal winner Christopher Daniels lost arguably the most important match in his long career at All Out against Chris Jericho and failed to become the first AEW World champion. Jake Hager is the muscle of the Inner Circle and was part of the 4 vs 4 match where Inner Circle defeated SCU and Beaver Boys in the Episode 3 of Dynamite. In that match Christopher Daniels was in the ring side and that probably adds even more frustration. This is Hager's first singles match but is also an opportunity for Christopher Daniels to claim a big win against Jericho's faction.

 

#3:

HANGMAN PAGE vs PAC

 

PAC defeated an injured Hangman Page at Double or Nothing. At Fight For The Fallen a healthy Hangman Page was defeated by PAC again. On Episode 3 of Dynamite PAC and Jon Moxley defeated Hangman Page and Kip Sabian. In the last episode of Dynamite, after his match PAC said he will once again make an example of Hangman at Full Gear and then attacked Hangman during the Main Event. PAC hasn't lost in AEW and his undefeated streak that started long before continues. Hangman wants to defeat PAC more than anything else.

 

#4:

SHAWN SPEARS vs DUSTIN RHODES

 

"The Chairman" and Dustin already have a long story in AEW. Dustin saved Cody from a second chair shot at Fight For The Fallen but Spears hit him in the back and that was one of the main reasons Cody and Dustin lost their match against The Young Bucks that night. In the last episode of Dynamite Dustin saved Joey Janela from a chair shot by Spears. Dustin looks for revenge in this match, while Spears has shown how much he hates the Rhodes.

 

#5: AEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

LUCHA BROTHERS (REY FENIX & PENTA EL ZERO MIEDO) ©️ vs SCU (FRANKIE KAZARIAN & SCORPIO SKY) vs PRIVATE PARTY (ISIAH KASSIDY & MARQ QUEN)

 

Lucha Brothers won the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament final against SCU to became the first to hold the titles. Before that, on Episode 1 of Dynamite these teams brawled after Lucha Brothers said they were the best tag team in AEW and on Episode 3 Lucha Brothers broke in the locker room to attack SCU before their match. SCU have already missed two big opportunities to win championships in AEW, as Christopher Daniels lost a title match for the AEW World Championship and the Tournament's final for the tag team titles. Private Party are getting hotter after they defeated the likes of The Young Bucks or Jurassic Express in the last weeks and they sure haven't forgotten that Lucha Brothers eliminated them from the Tournament.

 

#6: AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The doctor made a statement when she pinned Riho for the win in a tag team match in the last episode of Dynamite. We can't forget Riho defeated Britt at All Out to advance to the title match in the first episode of Dynamite when she became the first AEW Women's World Champion.

 

#7: AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (If Cody loses the will never challenge for the title again)

CHRIS JERICHO ©️ vs CODY RHODES

 

"Le Champion" Chris Jericho and his Inner Circle have taken AEW by storm. Cody as an AEW VP has opposed Jericho's tactics to try to turn AEW into his personal show and to control the company and to the formation of the Inner Circle. Cody tried to lead by example and said he doesn't want to use his VP position in his benefit and therefore he will never challenge for the title again if Jericho defeats him. In the last episode of Dynamite, Jericho and Guevara defeated Cody and Hangman Page, but we have to point out that Jake Hager and PAC took a big role in that win.

 

MAIN EVENT: Lights Out Match

KENNY OMEGA vs JON MOXLEY

 

Jon Moxley attacked Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing. Since then Moxley provoked Omega with a series of video messages. Kenny Omega's injury in his match against PAC at All Out took him away from the action for the next months. Moxley accused Omega of faking the injury and Tony Khan of protecting him because he fears what Moxley would do to him. Tony Khan decided this would be an Unsanctioned Match, this means with no rules and the result won't count in the books. In the last episode of Dynamite, Kenny Omega said the doctors haven't cleared him to compete for Full Gear but he wants to fight Moxley regardless. After they had to be separated it was obvious that Omega was still injured and when he came out to help Cody and Hangman Page and ended up brawling with Moxley, Omega was seriously wounded and he left the ring with the doctors taking care of him. Even with the doubts about Omega's condition this is a much anticipated match for the fans.
