Returning to the roots of my original mod, this is the data that started it all in terms of fantasy booking - Rebuilt. Movies, Games, Comics, Anime & Cartoons collide in a Universe so diverse, it really is for anyone. Whether you want to destroy the PWE as Skeletor, or save it as He-Man. Whether the Turtles will triumph over Shredder or Bebop and Rocksteady become the new threat in MAE. Will Luke Skywalker stay loyal to the Jedi, or will he join his father as the new Sith Apprentice? The only limit is your imagination. Nostalgia and Modern times smash into one another to create DiabloX.

Notes (mainly age decisions): Wrestlers in WWS do not have their real ages. This is because it is several era's smashed together so most are either in their prime but younger than they would be in 2016 in real life.

Some characters have had their ages reduced due to them appearing in 90's games/cartoons etc. This was a decision I made because if I did everyones correct age, we'd just have a database full of 40+ year old workers. 

Star Wars ages were probably the most complex to get into the game. I have basically used a "timeline" of events throughout Star Wars, and switched out their dates with ours (for example... 57 BBY the year Obi Wan Kenobi is born is 1954. 7 ABY the year Kylo Ren was born (and when this mod starts) is 2016). The Mandalorian series started in 9BY (2018) so the characters will be slightly younger than they are in the show.

Soul Calibur ages are (loosely) based on the ages the characters were in Soul Calibur VI (which is set 1 year before Soul Calibur). I've tried to keep them as close to that game as possible - but this means that some characters may not have debuted yet (hence the overhaul to the whole promotion). If people are missing from the starting roster, chances are it is only because they have not yet debuted.

Virtua Fighter ages are based on how old the characters were in 1993. Eg: Akira Yuki will have a DOB of 1989 rather than 1968 to represent him being 26 when the game came out.

Street Fighter Ages are now based (roughly) off of how old they are in Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Again, this is to fall more in line with "fun" over realism so their ages for 2016 will be whatever they were in 1994 rather than their real birth years (meaning Ryu will be 29 and not in his 50's). Some people do not have a birth year since Capcom scrapped the timeline - I have tried to base those ages off of things I've read within the previous SF timelines.

I am not a fan of Harry Potter but decided to add a few characters from the books/movies given its Pop Culture importance (and that is what this mod is mainly about). I've set the characters age to what they were in Deathly Hallows Part 2 (so Harry is 17). I could use the proper timeline from the books but that would then make Harry in his 40's and make my research pointless! This release will only have Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny. I will add more - and possibly a full promotion once I research more about it.

Rumble Roses Promotion is not just the roster for Rumble Roses. It has been fleshed out with other females from other places. (Lara Croft, Bayonetta, Jeanne, Tina Armstrong, Christie, Zoey, Rochelle, Sarah Bryant)

New Japan Women's Pro Wrestling from Wrestle Angels uses the characters from Wrestle Angels 1,2 & 3. I know there are other games but the roster was massive just using those 3 games.

Awesome, just recently started playing this mod and is already one of my favorites. I know you just started, but a few people I would love to see added are Mr. Incredible, since his wife and daughter are in there, along with Dash, as well as possibly the Mafia franchise. Would be kind of cool to have them guys in there against some of the gta and red dead characters. Overall an excellent mod, I'm sure there's plenty of people to add, these are just a few that come to mind right away.

For the next update I'm going to be adding Original Characters to the data as well! These will be future workers who come into the game later on to help make long term playability a possibility.

I have 50 Original Characters so far (not yet input into the data - wanted to make sure they fit the whole fantasy mash-up of the data). I'll probably have them debut 5-10 years time (so between 2021 and 2026).

There will also be additional characters Din Djarin (The Mandalorian), Victor Chevalier (Tekken) etc... so it won't just be original characters added. I do have a list of people I want to get in from games and comics etc...

I've played a TON of DiabloX and will always be a fan of new updates!

I started a FORCE game just to get accustomed to the world again and noticed these alerts, namely the roster and production ones:

I also noticed that BB-8 needs a language to speak otherwise he'll get the language barrier morale hit. Not sure if that is intentional due to it being BB-8 but worth mentioning.

I had some time today to go through the Soul Calibur promotion and completely re-work it. I've based it from the new Soul Calibur 6 timeline. It plays so much better now than it did before.

I've fixed The Force promotion as well so that shouldn't throw up the issues above any more.

In honor of the new Street Masters kickstarter here's a couple of the fighters that I thought might make for good future workers for MAE:

Their basic story is that they were in the sewers looking for some missing people when missiles fell on their city and they were bathed in some green sludge that mutated them.

And here's their teacher:

He has a similar story, difference being he was homeless living in the sewer with his cat.

I also cut the four turtles trained by Casey Marie Jones from the Last Ronin comics:

A lot of workers have 0 experience, even some workers who debuted 20+ years ago, like Martian Manhunter for example. Just figured I should mention it in case you hadn't noticed.

the first one is Crunk, Komodo Dragon, real name: Elliot Chan, he's Taiwanese, trained in hung gar (proficient in Crane, Snake, and Tiger styles), and very strong, he was your stereotypical scrawny high school nerd, always top of his class and unpopular with classmates.

the second one is Glam, Chameleon, real name Courtney Smith, American, trained in Savate and skilled with a chain dart, she was groomed to be a star by her fanatical, single mother who sought to live her life vicariously through her.

third is Grill, Gecko, real name: Deon Williams, American, trained in Judo, has a very strong tongue, can stick to walls he grew up in the projects, likes to paint, was forced to join a gang by his cousins.

fourth is Wicked, Horned Lizard, real name: Amy Damascus, Israeli, trained in Krav Maga and Filipino Knife Fighting, can shoot blood from her eye, she was the youngest member of an influential family, was expected to act like a "good little princess", but was instead a total rebel, locals called her a "goth weirdo".

the teacher is Master Pie, Cat, real name: Johnny Magnus, American, self-taught multiple martial arts by reading martial arts magazines (after he started living in the sewers), was a con artist posing as a karate instructor, got turned in by his student, Elliot Chan (yes, Crunk), was run out of town and exposed on the news, ended up living in the sewers with a cat named Cutie Pie.

The city they live in is Ransom City, I have the street masters compendium which gives full two-page bios for the lizards and a half-page bio for Master Pie if you want more extensive backgrounds.

 

Also, Crunk's body type would be muscular, Master Pie would probably be average, the rest would either be skinny or average.

I shall get them added  I shall also check for Experience on people. Hopefully I can get most of them fixed.

I can guarantee there will be 2 new all women's companies in the next edition which means there will be 61 active companies at the start of the game. So far there are around 90 new characters (+ an additional 20 Original characters I've created for future workers). This will increase before the next release as I still have a list of 50+ original characters to add, and a handful of actual characters from Games/Cartoons etc...

I shall take a look into that. I vaguely remember the story but it has been a while since I read any Power Rangers (well except their crossover with TMNT - even at my age I still love TMNT 😁).

Now that the 92 mod is released, I can focus solely on this one! 

Still a list of things to do such as re-doing the GIW (GI Joe) promotion, changing some of the free worker images with better quality ones and such. Ages are something I'm looking into and trying to decide what "era" from different games I want workers to be from.

Plus a whole host of other changes/additions. Not entirely sure when you can expect this but I imagine not too long in the future.

EDIT: Decided to delete about 90% of the free pictures and redo them completely. There are probably only about 10/20 pictures that were in the previous release. There are 100 male and 100 female pics at the moment now. Whether I do any more before release depends on time.

Speaking of GI Joe, I might have mentioned this before, but there was a Specialist (Matt) Trakker GI Joe figure released years ago. Also, Matt Trakker/Spectrum, Gloria Baker/Aura, Brad Turner/Eclipse, and Julio Lopez/Gulliver, are actually part of the GI Joe & Transformers IDW Comics universe along with Miles "Mayhem" Manheim, Vanessa Warfield/Ice Queen, Sylvester "Sly" Rax/Stiletto, Bruno Sheppard/Thunderflame (who's partially cybernetic), and Cliff Dagger, working for M.A.S.K. under GI Joe and V.E.N.O.M.  under Cobra respectively

Also, Matt Trakker/Spectrum, Gloria Baker/Aura, Brad Turner/Eclipse, and Julio Lopez/Gulliver, are actually part of the GI Joe & Transformers IDW Comics universe along with Miles "Mayhem" Manheim, Vanessa Warfield/Ice Queen, Sylvester "Sly" Rax/Stiletto, Bruno Sheppard/Thunderflame (who's partially cybernetic), and Cliff Dagger, working for M.A.S.K. under GI Joe and V.E.N.O.M.  under Cobra respectively

I might add them to the GIW promotion under a Faction (obviously called M.A.S.K.). I don't know if you did mention this before as it seems like a good idea so I don't think I would have ignored it... if I did then more fool me!

hey i dont know what criteria you have for your free pics, but i made my own with 580 pictures to play alongside with your database. if you want, i can send you the files if you wanna pick and choose, theyre all made on midjourney btw.

Some of these look pretty bloody good! My own personal preference though is below in terms of size (so long as it is a comic/cartoon style image and not 3d render, I'm not too bothered which cartoon style is used (anime, comic book, western style cartoon etc...)

Any chances more characters from the Timesplitters series could get added? also King II really needs to be buffed since his experience is at 0, psychology is at 41, safety and selling are both in the 40s and should possibly have masked for life as an attribute.

Also I'm sure you would notice either way but Marshall Law should be set as Asian.

I shall take a look at King II as yeah that does seem a little weak. I love Timesplitters I'd have them all in if I could BUT I have this thing where if I cant find good/passable 2d images of the characters I don't add them. Rest assured though I will add as many as I can find decent pics of. 🙂

I shall get Marshall set to Asian. Might have just been an oversight when adding. 🙂 

 

 

I've just finished tweaking the Street Fighter company. I don't think I have many companies left to mess around with. I lost interest in original characters so there will probably only be about 50 for release... maybe less.
