Total Non-Stop Action to debut on Pay Per View on the second week of June National Wrestling Assocation's new affiliate TNA is planning to host their first show on the Wednesday of the second week of June 2002. There has been rumors of Rey Misterio, Sting, Goldberg and Randy Savage on the roster. When asked about the superstars Jerry Jarrett smirked that his new product was getting some press and simply said, "Hey.. We're the new big thing here, anyone can appear." Wrestling fans seem convinced that they will buy the show, with stars like Rick Steiner, Scott Hall, Jeff Jarrett, Ken Shamrock, Marcus Bagwell and Curt Hennig announced on the released roster on NWA: TNA's Website. The show will host an amazing ten matches, the winners of the ten matches will go onto the ten man battle royal on the next show. What will be the third week of June, same day. TNA at the moment are looking towards weekly pay per views if the buy out is big and if the carrier thinks it'll make a profit. Some people say that this new wrestlings "X-Division" that has been announced will be a great attribute to the show, and we will have some X-Division action in the Pre-Show part of the debut. Recently announced signee Brian "BG" James said "It'll be a great show, three quarters say that it'll be better then three 'aitches can give." Then when asked about his feeling of the WWE he said "It's not about them any more. It's about TNA" The tag division is sharp, to. As NWA: TNA Referee and wrestling legend Ricky Steamboat said "TNA has a fresh amount of tag team wrestling, and I'm proud to be one of the two officials to count all the action." So by the looks of it, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and the National Wrestling Association are proud of this product and will try to make it as good as possible, a lot on the roster seem to have already dubbed loyalty to the promotion. Wrestler Jerry Lynn said "When I first entered the doors to meet Jerry Jarrett, I felt like I was a pioneer. Just like in ECW, I feel like we're going to change the industry forever." Remember, The second Wednesday of June NWA: TNA will be hosting an action packed card, it's visible on TNA's website(link above.) But to save you the trouble, here it is. NWA: TNA Wrestling on Pay Per View The Announce Team: Mike Tenay, Don West and Diamond Dallas Page Venue: The Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas Being held in front of: A full house, 10, 000 People. Main Event: Scott Hall vs. A Mystery Man Pre-Show AJ Styles defeated Sonny Siaki and Christopher Daniels in 8:42 when AJ Styles defeated Sonny Siaki by pinfall with a Styles Clash. Throughout the whole match the team of Sonny Siaki and Christopher Daniels teamed on AJ Styles, and when Daniels was knocked to the floor accidentally by Siaki - Siaki turned around to a Styles Clash. Tracy Brooks distracted Christopher Daniels while the count was being made. The match was a C- on a F-A+ scale. Storm and Yang defeated Fighting Spirit(Christian York and Joey Mathews) in 5:04 when Yang defeated Christian York by pinfall with a Yang Time. The match was equal all the way through, with the insane highflyers of Storm and Yang both springboarding out of the ring onto their opponents being a highlight of the match. Yang hit a Yang Time in the finish of the match and when Joey Mathews tried to intervene Storm took him out with a stiff side kick right in the side of the head. The match was a C- on a F-A+ scale. Live Show Slash defeated James Storm in 6:57 by pinfall with a Slash And Burn. Jim Mitchell and Slash have great chemistry together and work well, and it showed. Jim often came in and distracted James Storn to give Slash a lead throughout the match. Giving Slash some big moves like a Spinebuster as Jim Mitchell distracted James Storm on the top turnbuckle. The match seemed set and done when Slash had James Storm to his feet dazed, as he hit a Slash and Burn. Jim Mitchell was going crazy at ringside as Slash simply picked up the pinfall. Slash advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a C- on a F-A+ scale. Just like every other match tonight. Rick Steiner defeated Chris Harris in 6:53 by pinfall with a Steiner Driver. Steiner proved here that he was a main player in TNA as he was always a notch ahead of Harris, just like in the previous match of Slash and James Storm. "Wildcat" couldn't seem to hold Steiner down as Steiner hit various versions of belly to belly suplexes and belly to back suplexes. Steiner really sprung out when he locked in numerous submission moves like his brothers signature, The Steiner Recliner. Could this mean Steiner in the Main Event against Scott Hall? Or is it just a small tribute?! Anyways, Harris seemed to get some offense in as he hit a Neckbreaker, a Reverse DDT and a Boston Crab. That was his biggest offensive part in the match because Rick Steiner suprisingly almost tapped out. It was game, set and match when Steiner hit the Steiner Driver out of no where and won the match. It was when Chris Harris had pure momentum, to! Rick Steiner advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a C+ on a F-A+ scale. Monty Brown is interviewed backstage by Mike Tenay, he hypes himself up to the moon. Talking about how Uliuli is not Monty Brown quality and that he will throw that big dumb savage monster all around the ring and then finish him off with the, "POUNCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-Uh." This segment was a D on a F-A+ scale. Uliuli defeated Monty Brown in 4:57 by submission with a Tongan Death Grip. The former "Haku" showed that he was no joke in TNA and that Monty Brown was wrong, he would not hit the pounce. Uliuli was just like Monty Brown said, he was a savage. Brown was just like he said, he was a fighter. Brown got a lot of offense in and gave suplexes' and so much more. Uliuli hit Monty Brown with plenty of Throat Thrusts and it looked good for Uliuli. Until of course, Monty Brown hit a huge Pumphandle Slam that if a baby saw it, the baby would cry. After that Monty Brown leaped around and flexed as he screamed massively pacing around the ring. The fans cheered him on, he bounced Uliuli off the ropes and right when he was about to go for the bounce Jim Mitchell pulled down the top rope and Uliuli flew over, saving the savage from a Pounce that would finish him off. Brown grabbed Jim Mitchell by the hair and dragged him onto the apron, he picked him up into the ring, ran him off of the ropes and gave Mitchell a Pounce! The fans were wild! Well, atleast that's until Monty Brown turned to a Tongan Death Grip that made him pass out and the fans riot. Uliuli advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a C on a F-A+ scale. Konnan defeated Ron Killings in 1:38 by submission with a Tequilla Sunrise. This match was even, it's much different then the time says. Ron Killings dominated Konnan with Spinning Kicks, Chops and Bodyslams; all of wrestlings most generic moves leaning into a finish. Ron was going to go for a Scissors Kick at the 1: 10 mark but it was ducked and he got a Tazmission Suplex, After that the Tequila Sunrise was locked in and in a few seconds the match was won. Konnan advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a C on a F-A+ scale. Jeff Jarrett defeated Low-Ki in 6:43 by pinfall with a Stroke. This match was the match of the night so far with Low-Ki on his top shape in North America yet in his short career. His kicks were amazing and he looked like a serious contender to win the match. Jeff proved too much though, the former WCW Champion even locking in a Figure Four once but Low-Ki got to the ropes. Low-Ki once gave a solid kick to the head of Jeff Jarrett but then Jarrett came back with a Side Slam to Low Ki. A little later Low-Ki locked in Tajiri's Tarantula from the WWE, and it was an amazing one as Jeff Jarrett was pleading no. He even tried to give up, too bad there was rope break. Jeff Jarrett hit a superplex off of the top rope and from there it looked like it was done. Jarrett hit a Implant DDT on Low Ki and then locked in an arm bar, and almost had the submission. Low Ki then came up and gave Jarrett kicks, changing feet each time. Three kicks to the legs and then he rose it to Jarrett's side's four times and then he gave one finishing kick to Jarrett's head, dazing Jarrett to hand on the ropes knocked out, Low Ki ran Jarrett off the ropes and went for a clothesline but Jarrett ducked it and hit the Stroke. What's next? The three count of course. Jeff Jarrett advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a B- on a F-A+ scale. Ken Shamrock defeated Elix Skipper in 12:58 by submission with an Ankle Lock. Not the match of the night so far, but the longest one. It was a good match, and Ken Shamrock was on top form showing that he's learned so much over his veteran career. While Elix Skipper was showing that he will be a star in the X-Division and maybe the Heavyweight division for years to come. Hitting a few devastatingly impressive moves to Ken Shamrock. Elix had speed over Shamrock, so he used the duck and punch stragedy and he made it look like X-division superstars were on par with Heavyweight contenders. Soon after that Shamrock hit some of his trademark moves and locked in one of his own personal favorites from Mixed Martial Arts, locking in a Gullotine Choke almost getting the submission. Shamrock didn't realize that he was so close to the ropes as Elix lached on, trying to save his life and his dreams at the NWA Heavyweight title. The referee broke the hold and they got up, staring at each other as they dug at each other with punches and kicks. Diamond Dallas Page at ringside saying that the fighters were fighting like the loser would have to swim in a pool of sharks, Shamrock hit a Russian Legsweep and then he signalled it, the Ankle Lock was coming. Elix Skipper stood up and ran off the ropes, trying to hit Shamrock while he was taunting but Shamrock turned around and hit a Drop Toe Hold, going onto his knees and then locking in the Ankle Lock. Shamrock was screaming "Tap *BLEEP*" as Elix was soon to pass out, and a strecher came to take him away! Shamrock may have broken his ankle! Ken Shamrock advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a C+ on a F-A+ scale. Steve Corino is interviewed backstage by Diamond Dallas Page, he hypes himself and his upcoming match to the moon. Saying that he was the ace of ECW and he's now the ace in TNA, he told the world that he'd beat BG James up so bad that he would go crying back to the little leagues(I think he was talking about WWE.) and that he was a wrestling god facing a peasant. DDP asked Corino several questions of his career, and it led to a brief summary of Corino's accomplishments including winning the NWA Championship before. Ending with "It's time for the wrestling world to go against Vince once against, it's time we take an action. It's Total Nonstop Action." and that started a "TNA!" chant. Corino then said that the fans of TNA are disgusting, changing the crowd to chant "Screw you Corino" as Corino said he would fight for what TNA is, and TNA is Corino. This segment was a B- on a F-A+ scale. BG James defeated Steve Corino in 3:36 by pinfall with a Pumphandle Slam. Corino and BG had amazing chemistry, making up for BG's off night. Corino tried to prove to the world that he was as good as he said he was, the ace of TNA. He kept fighting and fighting and every time he looked to have an advantage BG came back with something huge. BG went for a huge punch but Corino ducked it and hit an Arm Wringer and then a side kick to the face while holding the arm. This match was as short as you could imagine, but they made it better then half of the matches on the card so far. Steve got a decisive lead as he hit a Tornado DDT off of the top rope onto BG James and then he locked in a STF, almost getting the win from BG but BG some how got out of it. Corino ducked a punch by James when they got up and hit a Piledriver. Corino pinned the past out BG James for a two count. A very, veery close one if I do say so myself. BG then got up slowly and started blocking Corino's punches with his forearms, stopping Corino in his tracks! BG started his trademark jabs and then.. the jiggle! The Punch! The Shake, Rattle and Roll! BG climbed the top rope and screamed "I'm taking it old school!" He jumped off of the turnbuckle and Corino was making his way towards BG as he went for a punch, but it was ducked. Pumphandle Slam! One, Two, Three! BG James advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a C+ on a F-A+ scale. Marcus Bagwell defeated Jerry Lynn in 4:50 by pinfall with a Blockbuster. Jerry Lynn was a god, showing himself in one of his best matches in the past two years with an unexpected opponent. Marcus Bagwell and Francine came to fight, as Marcus showed that he was invincible inside of that ring and Jerry tried to prove that he could slay the invincible. Jerry Lynn started the big moves of the match off when he hit a Stalling Backbreaker and then locked in a Backbreaker Submission hold for a close submission, doing his trademark pose in the middle of doing so. But Bagwell fought back, he showed that he was in TNA for a reason and he started a run. It started with an Arm Drag and then Marcus getting up to pose. Jerry hit a dropkick straight after and copied Marcus, getting up and posing as Marcus would do the exact same routine as he hit a DDT onto Jerry Lynn. After that Marcus hit a few elbow drops and then finished the combo off with a legdrop. Marcus then picked a few punches with Jerry, putting Jerry to the ropes. Jerry ducked a punch and span to the other time of Bagwell and he hit Bagwell against the ropes many times, he then ducked a counter punch by Bagwell, ran Bagwell off the ropes and went for a clothesline but Bagwell ducked it and Lynn knocked out the referee! Francine quickly went for a chair from under the ring and threw it right into Marcus Bagwell's hands, Marcus turned around and Jerry hit a Dropkick! Smashing the chair into Bagwell's face! Jerry put the chair down and flipped Bagwell on it face first and hit a Legdrop from the top rope as the fans chanted 'ECW!' Francine has had enough, going onto the apron and tapping on Jerry's shoulder. Jerry turned around and looked at her, he smiled and slapped her across the face as she fell to the floor. The fans cheered and after the silence someone went "I'm RICK JAMES!" But onto another note, Lynn turned around to a shot in the head from the chair. Bagwell slid it out of the ring as he got up onto the top rope and the referee got up. When Lynn got up, he turned around for A BLOCKBUSTA! One, Two, Three. Match over. Marcus Bagwell advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a B- on a F-A+ scale. Curt Hennig defeated Psicosis in 2:53 by pinfall with a Henning Plex. The former Mr. Perfect showed that his ****iness now was for the better as he was cheered for tha fans and fed off of their chants. Psicosis was the prick of the match. Often pointing at all the fans in a circular motion and then crossing his throat with his thumb. Onto the match itself, though. Psicosis began the cool parts of the match when he hit a Moonsault from the top rope. Literally, not the turnbuckle. The rope. That got a two. Hennig then came back not to soon after that and hit a German Suplex and held it there for a two count. Psicosis then came back with another big move, hitting a Reverse Hurricanrana, planting Hennig on his face. That got a two. Hennig himself then countered, they're just taking turns out there! Hennig hit a Powerbomb and held it there for two! Psicosis soon went for a DDT on Hennig but Hennig picked him up and dropped him outside, picking him up so high that he just tossed Psicosis on his face on the outside. Hennig waited for Psicosis to get up and pressed himself over the ropes and hit a Cross Body. Hennig and Psicosis got up and Psicosis ducked a clothesline, and then threw Hennig over the barricade! Shouldn't they be counted out by now? Oh yeah, no draws in Qualifying! Psicosis set a chair up in the ring, went off the ropes.. on his run he stepped on the chair, leaped over the ropes and Senton over the barricade onto the standing Curt Hennig on the other side! Amazing! Fans chanted "Holy ****" as after awhile Psicosis got up, put himself over the barricade and rolled himself into the ring as the referee started counting. Hennig got up at five, and quickly slugged over the barricade. At 9 he finally got in. Hennig moved from a dropkick and then hit a bodyslam. When Psicosis got up a kick to the gut would set up perfectly for the Hennig Plex for the three. Curt Hennig advances into the battle royal on the next show for the NWA Heavyweight Championship, and this match was a B on a F-A+ scale. Scott Hall is in the ring with a microphone. He claims that he is so good that he cannot be defeated by anyone, and then he goes on that the mysterio fellow can't beat him. He issues the challenge to the man to come out and he talks about who could it be. "MMA, WCW, WWE, ECW or even TNA. Who are you? Come on out you son of a.." Bam! A pyro hits and the video of a scorpion shows on the titantron! It shows it in what looks to be an old rusty film as there is a countdown on the screen.. "3.. 2.. 1.." and the Scorpion suddenly strikes something! But before we see contact it flicks to various clips of... It's Sting! Sting is in TNA! The fans are going wild! Sting makes his way down to the ring and points a bat at Scott Hall as Scott Hall is wide-eyed! Sting stands outside and takes his jacket off as he rolls inside of the ring with the bat! Sting rushes at Hall and Hall ducks a shot with the bat and runs out of the ring! Sting puts the bat on the outside of the ring and challenges Hall to come in, and Hall does! The bell rings and the match has began! The first segment(Scott Hall's challenge) was a B+ on a F-A+ scale and the second segment(Sting coming out) was a A on a F-A+ scale. Main Event The longest match of the night, the match of the night! These two didn't have much chemistry but their determination to make a good match made it a great one! This had fans screaming in delight, rage and so much more! The match started off with Sting taking it to Scott Hall, running him into the ropes and delighting the fans with something they've been waiting to see for a year.. The Stinger Splash! Sting opened up the match big and then started pummeling Hall more with hard punches, staggering Hall and making the fans even more crazy for the new man on the block. Sting backed Hall into the corner and started hitting chop after chop as the fans went along with "Woo's" and when Scott Hall fell Sting got on the top rope and pumped the fans up. Sting leaped off the rope and then gave Hall four consecutive clotheslines and Hall finally stayed down. Sting picked up Hall and went for a punch but Hall ducked it! Hall's getting offense in! He jabs Sting a few times and points for the referee to look the other way.. Low Blow! The referee turns around and questions Scott as he does a little smirk and shrugs. He locked in a Rear Naked Choke and then added in a few elbows to the back of the head of Sting. Scott Hall turned on his back and Sting looked to be stuck until Sting started elbowing Hall in his sides, causing Hall to release the hold as Sting went rapid! Sting got up and ran Hall off of the ropes but Hall slid out of the ring and smiled. He winked at Sting and turned around to talk to a fan, the fan said something offensive to Hall and Hall spent a moment to talk to him, and Diamond Dallas Page was heard saying "You know, Hall's so popular that some times people stop him mid-match to hear his voice!" Hall soon felt someone breathing behind him, he turns around.. Punch by Sting! Sting rolls Hall back into the ring and follows as Sting hits a few legdrops. A third one was missed as Hall then hits a knee drop on Sting, and then he posed to the fans. Sting got up and Hall was expecting it as he knee'd the coming up Sting in the side of the face as he was half way standing up. Hall then hit an Elbow Drop and went off the ropes for a running elbow drop but Sting moves! A run by Sting is coming up! Punch, Punch, Kick, Double Underhook Suplex, Sting picks him up and a Running Powerslam for two! What's this?! Jeff Jarrett comes out! He's running down to the ring! He gets on the apron as Scott Hall gets out of the ring and picks up something.. Sting is over there with the referee trying to get at Jeff Jarrett! Sting turns around.. HE GETS HIT WITH THE BAT BY SCOTT HALL! STING GOT HIT BY HIS OWN STEEL BAT! Hall quickly underhands the bat out of the ring and the fans are going crazy! Some trying to charge the barricade! Hall covers Sting, 1, 2, Kick out! Jarrett stands half way down the hall in disbelief! Hall's ripping at his hair! Is there any stopping of this man? Hall hypes the Outsider's Edge! Out comes Curt Hennig! He hits Jarrett down from behind with a clothesline! Jarrett goes tumbling and Curt Hennig makes his way down to the ring, the fans are going crazy! Hall thinks it's because they're cheering for his Outsider's Edge! Hall picks up Sting and puts him up! He sees Hennig get onto the apron and let's Sting go! Sting falls on his face as Hennig smiles at Hall, and when Hall starts to run after him Hennig quickly gets out of the ring. Hall does his trademark smirk at Hennig and screams "Coward!" as the fans are going wild, not for Hall, though! Sting forearms Hall in the back of the head, making him lean on the ropes as Sting drags Hall's head back, Scorpion Death Drop! Sting rolls Scott away from the ropes and pins Hall! Hennig disappears to the back as Jeff Jarrett is pulling his hair out on the ramp! Sting has taken out Scott Hall! The credits roll as Tenay wishes us a good night. Sting defeated Scott Hall in 16:52 by pinfall with a Scorpion Death Drop. In quite possibly the biggest shock in NWA: TNA yet the annoying team of Sonny Siaki and Christopher Daniels won. AMW looked strong throughout the match, almost finishing off the duo but when Daniels and Siaki hit a Elimination of the Past(Eliminator) on James Storm he was out, and it only took some Angel's Wings to get the luck they needed and pin Chris Harris. Future of Wrestling move onto the NWA Tag Team Title Match next week, This match was a C on a F-A+ scale. Storm and Yang defeated Fighting Spirit in 6:11 when Storm defeated Joey Matthews by pinfall with a Mindbender. Was a quicker match then the one before it, Yang and Storm looked their best as they did all they could to give trouble to the experienced duo of Joey Matthews and Christian York. Yang did a good Shooting Star Press but that was broken up by Joey Matthews, and the ending of the match was when Crowbar caught Joey Matthews with the Mindbender, the fans went crazy and Storm and Yang got their win to place them into the Tag Team Title Match next week, This match was a C on a F-A+ scale. Live Show Low-Ki had an interview hyping himself by telling everyone watching just how amazing he is, and that AJ Styles will regret ever coming near TNA. Because Low Ki will become the TNA X-Division champion if it kills him and if Jerry Lynn, Elix Skipper, Ron Killings, Psicosis or AJ Styles gets in his way he will break their necks. He said that he actually got close to becoming the NWA Heavyweight Champion, and that if he can do that the X-Division will be as easy as cake. Low-Ki defeated AJ Styles in 8:37 by pinfall with a Reversal of the Styles Clash. Low Ki started off the match big, hitting such trademarks as the Krush Rush, Tidal Krush and the Tidal Wave. Three big moves in his arsenal. He locked in a Dragon Wing on AJ Styles and he almost got a tap out for the win, but AJ held on. AJ started fighting back, Starmaker! Uranage Backbreaker! Low Ki bodyslams AJ Styles, Styles hits a Kip Up Hurricanrana! Styles locks in a Muta Lock! This is an amazing comeback for Styles! Styles stands up and so does Low Ki after the submission is broken, and they stare at each other. Kick to the side of AJ! Kick to the side of Low Ki! They're going high speed! Low Ki leaps over one of AJ's kicks! Amazing! Low Ki swings and kicks AJ in the side of the head! AJ tumbles out of the ring and Low Ki does a Warrior's Roar! He's unleashing his fury on AJ! Low Ki gets onto the top turnbuckle and started walking across the ropes, Moonsault Press! "Holy ****" chants start coming out! This is crazy! Low Ki rolls AJ into the ring and they both get up and start exchanging punches, AJ hits a Cliffhanger! Styles picks up Ki, Styles Clash! No! Low Ki pushes his weight and AJ falls backwards, with Low Ki on top with the legs hooked! One, Two, Three! Low Ki moves onto the NWATNA X-Division Title match tonight, This match was a C- on a F-A+ scale. Jerry Lynn defeated Elix Skipper in 2:33 by pinfall with a Cradle Piledriver. Quick match, Jerry Lynn proved that he was a pioneer of the X-Division by having the best X-Division match known to date. Elix Skipper showed up two, these guys did flips and made all of their time as they have MOTY honors so far tonight. Elix Skipper hit a huge 450 Splash near the end of the match but Jerry Lynn kicked out! Elix made it clear that he was there to win, and he hit a Double Springboard DDT for a two count. Elix got up and went for a Spinning Backhand Blow but Jerry ducked it and turned it into a Spinning Back Suplex and then a Crab for a close submission, Jerry picked up Elix and they started punching each other, and blocking each other. Soon Jerry hit a Headbutt and he got onto the top rope and hit a Senton Bomb! Elix Skipper got up to find himself in the position for a Cradle Piledriver, and only 10 seconds later was the match a blank for Elix Skipper, and a ticket to the Title match for Jerry. Jerry Lynn moves onto the NWATNA X-Division Title match tonight, This match was a C- on a F-A+ scale. Monty Brown is hyping himself backstage, telling the world that Scott Hall will feel the wrath of the one man wrecking crew and that Scott Hall will feel the most dangerous move in wrestling today, he went on to talk about how the match would go and even did an impersonation of Scott Hall. Then he went serious, and told the world "Get Ready, because Scott Hall is going to feel the POUNCEEEEEEEEE" and before he finished with the "Uh" Scott Hall walked onto the screen with a toothpick in his mouth. He told Monty that he wasn't in the big leagues yet, and that he wasn't on par with a former WCW star. Monty then came back with "This isn't WCW, this is TNA. I'm the hot commodity around here, and Scott Hall.. Guess what you'll feel?" "Victory?" Scott Hall said back to Monty Brown with a smile. Monty then went to Hall's face and screamed "POUNCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-Uh" and walked off. This segment was a C on a F-A+ scale. Psicosis defeated Ron Killings in 4:03 by pinfall with a Guillotine Legdrop. Not much to say about this match, there weren't as much "Highlights" as there was "Good Wrestling". Ron Killings was visible in trying to improve his aerial skills as he was trying to go all over the ring and take out Psicosis. But the masked star was too much for Ron Killings as Psicosis started to mop the floor with him doing all kinds of Planchas and showing that the X-Division takes a few death defying leaps. Killings started to mount a comeback as he hit a Scissors Kick but he took too long taunting on how he'd win, rather then getting the pinfall over the fallen Psicosis. A Gullotine Legdrop sealed the fate for poor old Ron Killings. Psicosis moves on to the X-Division Title match later tonight, and this match was a C on a F-A+ scale. Jerry Lynn defeated Psicosis and Low-Ki in 14:42 when Jerry Lynn retrieved the title. Jerry Lynn wins the NWATNA X title. Tied for the best X-Division match yet, it was amazing. The match went on without a ladder for sometime as they'd continuously do moonsaults and twists and when the ladder was first put in you'd know that this match was going to be good. Low Ki and Jerry Lynn were fighting outside of the ring and Psicosis was climbing up the ladder, and instead of getting the belt Psicosis leaped off for a Sky Twister Press onto his opponents outside! Psicosis got up and did an encore, as he went on the apron, bounced off the second rope with his feet and moonsaulted onto hit opponents. Too bad they caught him and dropped him face first onto the barricade. Jerry and Low Ki then exchanged chops to each others chest, and whoever hit the loudest got the eventual advantage. It was Psicosis, as he hit them both with a chair! Psicosis rolled into the ring with the chair and climbed the ladder with the chair, ready to fend off anyone stopped him from getting his dream. He learned that it took two hands to take down the title as he struggled with one, and got hit by a baseball bat right at his back and then got a huge Powerbomb from off the top of the ladder by Jerry Lynn! Low Ki then got into the ring and tried to climb up the ladder, and Jerry Lynn met him on the other side. They stared at each other and started dishing out punches. When they were both dazy, Jerry flipped over on the other side of the ladder for a sunset.. no! Low Ki holds on as Jerry lands on his feet. Jerry climbs up a few steps and powerbombs Low Ki just like he did Psicosis, it's deja vu! Jerry begins to climb the ladder and he notices that it's out of place. He must be angry now! He puts it into place and started climbing up, but notices that Psicosis put a ladder right beside his! Psicosis got up the ladder and they both sat on their respective ladders putting out punches. Low Ki got up and started climbing up Psicosis' ladder and then while they were fighting he put a foot on each ladder and pushed himself up. Low Ki was standing on the ladder! He kicked Jerry Lynn but Jerry would fall off the ladder, the ladder almost fell over! He kicked Psicosis, Psicosis stays on. People are amazed Low Ki has this much balance! Jerry pushes Low Ki into Psicosis and Low Ki has balance no more! He tumbles into Psicosis but Psicosis ducks and Low Ki trips over him, Low Ki does a flip and lands on his back! It's just Jerry and Psicosis now as they both get a little higher, maybe it's because their hopes are rising. Psicosis slaps Jerry in the chest and Jerry slaps Psicosis back. Jerry grabs the belt but Psicosis gives him a punch to the face. They both then grab onto the belt! Jerry pushes over Psicosis' ladder with his hand but Psicosis is still on because he's holding that belt! Psicosis kicks Jerry's ladder down and Jerry is hanging to! Jerry's legs go up and cling around Psicosis' neck! Hurricanrana! Hurricanrana! Jerry lands on Psicosis and collapses when he tries to get up! Jerry gets up slowly and sets up the ladder but Low Ki greets him with a punch, and Jerry punches him back! Jerry jumped onto the ladder about three steps up BACKWARDS and he kicked Low Ki in the head! Low Ki falls out of the ring as Psicosis is getting up, Jerry continues to climb backwards up 2 more steps, he's five steps up! Here comes Psicosis! Psicosis is trying to get Jerry into a Spinebuster but Jerry pushes Psicosis' head down and picks him up! CRADLE PILEDRIVER FROM FIVE STEPS UP! THE FANS ARE CHANTING HOLY **** NOW! Jerry gets up once again, he climbs the ladder.. And he gets the belt! Jerry Lynn is the new X-Division champion! This match was a C+ on a F-A+ scale. A Video Recap of what happened with Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, Sting and Jeff Jarrett on the last show and the screen says "Will Scott Hall get his revenge and possibly spoil the match for Curt Hennig? Can Curt Hennig do the undoable? Can Sting win the NWA Title once again? Is it Jeff Jarrett's time? Could anyone else win it? Who knows, but this is NWA: TNA... Anything can happen." This segment was a B- on a F-A+ scale. Monty Brown defeated Scott Hall in 4:52 by pinfall with a Pounce. TNA's very own Monty Brown came out to win, and Scott Hall's desire to get at the World Heavyweight Championship was apparent. These two battled out trying to make themselves better then the other, and with their desire to win they made a better match then the X-Division title match! This was a straight out brawl with each of these compeititors getting the upperhand at one point or the other and no clear winner could be decided, Hall tried to do an Outsiders Edge but he couldn't lift the beast that is Monty Brown, so Hall tried everything else in his moveset to take down the Monster. Hall got Monty with a few DDTs and a few close pinfalls but just couldn't put him away. Scott Hall kept punching Monty but Monty kept turning his head to face Scott Hall again, and right when Monty blocked a punch he punched Hall hard and Hall fell to the floor. Monty his a clothesline, went off the ropes for a POUNCE! but Hall stopped in his tracks to avoid it. Hall used all his energy to pull up Monty Brown for a Piledriver, and got a close count. After that he picked up Monty, and tried to run him off the ropes.. Monty reversed it! POUNCE-------UH! One, two, three! TNA's own has won the number one contendership! Monty Brown has won a title shot for whenever he wants to use it, and this match was a B- on a F-A+ scale. Bob Armstrong came into the ring and he hit Monty Brown with a chair! Bob is supposed to be a nice Authority for TNA! He's supposed to be fair! Monty didn't fall down though.. Monty turns around and runs Bob off of the ropes.. POUNCE! Monty Brown just Pounced Bob Armstrong! Why did Bob Armstrong even try to attack Monty? Who knows, but he got what he deserved back! This segment was an F on a F-A+ scale. I was very unhappy with the result. Konnan is shown backstage, where officials have just found him bloody and unconscious, the apparent victim of a sneak attack. Paramedics appear to stretcher him out. Who could of attacked him? Who will be the replacement? After a few minutes of waiting cameras turned into the ring to Diamond Dallas Page, Page announced that Steve Corino would be taking Konnan's place in the Battle Royal tonight. Did Bob Armstrong order this? Is he in cahoots with Corino!? Both segments were a C on a F-A+ scale. Main Event This match started off quick. With the save Uliuli beating down Steve Corino and throwing him over the top rope, but Corino stayed hanging in. Corino rolled inside of the ring and got back to fighting. Uliuli continued his wrath though as he surprisingly knocked out Ken Shamrock first! Eliminated: Ken Shamrock This match was an uphill battle for some good people, BG James, Curt Hennig and Sting were against Jeff Jarrett, Uliuli, Slash, Marcus Bagwell and Rick Steiner as Steve Corino sat in the corner and watched. It was a massive brawl, and Francine was at ringside hanging Marcus Bagwell weapons if need be! Jim Mitchell was at ringside also, cheering on Uliuli. Francine handed Marcus Bagwell Sting's bat and that was a poor decision. Sting grabbed it from Marcus and everyone started backing off of BG James, Curt Hennig and Sting. The three were circled by the evil ones of the bunch and they seemed doomed but they exploded, BG threw Rick Steiner over the ropes. Eliminated: Rick Steiner After a few minutes of brawling Corino upgraded his stragedy, he rolled outside and joined Mike Tenay, Don West and Diamond Dallas Page at the announcers table! Nobody even noticed that Steve Corino was cheating out of the match and skimming free unharmed! Sting hit Uliuli, Slash and Marcus Bagwell with his bat before Jeff Jarrett gave him The Stroke from out of no where. Curt Hennig then gave Jeff Jarrett a Hennig Plex! Blockbuster to Curt Hennig from Marcus Bagwell! Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Marcus Bagwell! Uliuli and Slash hit a Double Spinebuster to Sting! BG James hits them both with the Steel Bat! BG James is on top here and he decides to do a small dance as the fans cheer! Jarrett gets up, BG punches him into the ropes.. BG clotheslines Jarrett out of the ring! Eliminated: Jeff Jarrett In the biggest shock of the night Jeff Jarrett has been eliminated from the NWA Heavyweight title match by Brian "BG" James! It's all even now, BG James, Curt Hennig and Sting are facing Uliuli, Slash and Marcus Bagwell! Jim Mitchell screams at Slash and Uliuli as they're ready to go at their opponents as Francine gives Marcus a kiss from the outside. Sting, BG James and Curt Hennig have no support but the fans. BG James pumps up the fans and screams "Are you ready!?" as the fans scream "Yeah!" and BG James, Curt Hennig, Sting, Uliuli, Slash and Marcus Bagwell all met in the middle of the ring brawling! Uliuli looks like a monster as he Double Chokeslams BG James and Curt Hennig! Uliuli, Marcus Bagwell and Slash then gave Sting a special treat. Slash went onto the top turnbuckle and Uliuli lifted Sting up there for a Super Powerbomb, but Marcus Bagwell went up on the ropes for a back suplex while doing so! Super Back Suplex Powerbomb to Sting! The heroes of the match are getting demolished by Jim Mitchell's crew and Marcus Bagwell. Uliuli picked up Curt Hennig and pressed him up and threw him out! Curt Hennig has been eliminated! Eliminated: Curt Hennig BG James is getting up to be met by a hyped up punch straight into the face by Slash. After that Slash hit a kneedrop and tried to hype up the fans on their side, only to get boo'ed. Sting got up and he fought like a warrior! He knocked down Uliuli with a Forearm Blow! He knocked down Slash with A Stinger Splash! Sting got a microphone and said something mid match, he's having fun with these guys! "Riddle me this, riddle me that...who's afraid of the big - black - bat?" he said as Sting picked up the bat and smashed Marcus Bagwell in the side with it! Amazing! Sting then screamed "Woo! We're having fun now!" Sting smiled and threw the microphone at Jim Mitchell as he started hitting Jim Mitchell's crew and Francine's man! BG James just stopped and watched in amazement, before BG threw Slash out of the ring! Eliminated: Slash Sting finally dropped his bat, and went face to face with BG James. They started hitting each other back and fourth while outside Francine and Jim Mitchell were fighting over who's going to get the win in the end! Francine slaps Jim Mitchell! Uliuli sees this and picks up Francine by her hair but Marcus Bagwell saves her! Uliuli and Marcus Bagwell are going at it and Sting and BG James are going at it! The whole match has been flipped around! Uliuli picks up Marcus for a Powerbomb and charges at the rope but Marcus turns it into a Hurricanrana and clings onto the rope! The save Uliuli is eliminated by Marcus Bagwell! What a surprise! Eliminated:: Uliuli It's down to three, Sting, BG James and Marcus Bagwell left in the ring. The next one eliminated will not go into the singles match right after this for the NWA Heavyweight Title. The three charge in the middle of the ring, but Marcus Bagwell stops instead of running into the middle and BG James and Sting just charge at each other and issue punches. Marcus Bagwell points at his head and he leans back against the ropes, leans his head back and instead of wrestling he's kissing Francine! This is a disgrace to the NWA! Wait a second, Marcus doesn't notice that BG James and Sting notice! Francine notices them charging and steps away from Marcus to go closer to the turnbuckle(still on the apron) as Marcus goes flying out and Francine walks down the stairs to check on her man! Eliminated: Marcus Bagwell Sting and BG James look at each other and shake hands, then they back up. It's time for the NWA Heavyweight Title match as far as their minds go. They start exchanging punches, and not too long after that Sting hits a Stinger Splash on BG James! Sting goes for a Lariat but BG James ducks it, Punch! Punch! Punch! BG does a little dance and finishes it off with a huge punch knocking Sting down! He picks Sting up.. PUMPHANDLE SLAM! PUMPHANDLE SLAM CONNECTS! One, Two, Three! BG James! BG James! BG James is the new NWA Heavyweight Champion.. He rushes to the corner and puts his hands through his hair. He looks ready to cry.. AND STEVE CORINO PUSHES HIM OUTSIDE OF THE RING! God damn it no! Steve Corino was waiting outside of the ring and just took BG James out! BG had that title won, damn it! Eliminated: BG James Sting got up and thought that he'd lost, but not yet! Sting saw Corino and mouthed "Son of a.." and got up. Sting, kind of dazed has been wrestling for 20 minutes and Corino? About three. Sting looked like he could wrestle 20 more regardless of the state he was in. And he did so. Corino and Sting went all over the ring with all kinds of moves. Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop for two at once and the Scorpion Deathlock for a close submission, to! Corino hit a Old School Plex for two, a Old School Kick for two and even a Old School Expulsion but he never got the Old School Bomb! No, not yet. Steve Corino is the NWA Champion! The fans boo'ed as Corino cried over his belt. This was his second time holding the title, and this second time felt good! Mike Tenay wished us a good time until next time, and ended the broadcast by saying "Maybe next time we won't have the devil at the top."
TNA announces new home and new schedule Total Nonstop Action, inc. announced it's move from San Antonio to a more Entertainment based place. They're moving to the Mellon Center AKA The Igloo in Pittsburgh, the home of the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins. This will be their mainland and TNA are glad to call Tri State their new home with places like the Former ECW Arena and Madison Square Garden to occasionally visit. It's an amazing place to develop a wrestling promotion. No doubt about it. TNA also announced over the weekend that after this show they will be hosting their weekly pay per views bi-weekly, meaning every other week TNA will show. The decision was to save NWA-TNA fans money so they can come in the next two weeks. One of the heads of NWA was recorded saying "This is an amazing thing, we're moving our most popular territory to one of the best places in the world" and although San Antonio is more popular, TNA is sure to catch a fire in New York and Pittsburgh. Mario Lemieux, Member of the Pittsburgh Penguin team said, "Hey, I like these guys. I met some and they're amazing people. We'll welcome them every other week." Everyone seems happy with the deal, and TNA are looking to expand with the recent move. CREDIT: NWATNA.com
...
