New York Wrestling - A Picture is Worth How Many Words?

disclaimer: This is a fantasy diary, meaning it is fiction(not real). Therefore should not be confused with real life happenings etc etc. On June 11 2005, Mike Tyson stunned the boxing world by quitting before the start of the seventh round in a close bout against journeyman Kevin McBride. After losing the third of his last four fights, Tyson said he would quit boxing because he hasn't "got the fighting guts or the heart anymore." Tyson has stayed in the limelight by promoting various websites and companies. In April 2005, he joined a group of strippers on the roof of a strip club in New York to promote skill gaming site FortuneFun.com. Tyson has also endorsed online gaming site Casino Fortune and previously lent his name to a popular Nintendo game, Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!. In June 2004, sportswriter Max Kellerman suggested that Tyson should move out of boxing and into product endorsement, as this had worked well for former boxer George Foreman. In the past Tyson had shunned endorsements, accusing other athletes of putting on a false front to obtain them. On the front page of USA Today on June 3, 2005, Tyson was quoted as saying: "My whole life has been a waste - I've been a failure." He continued: "I just want to escape. I'm really embarrassed with myself and my life. I want to be a missionary. I think I could do that while keeping my dignity without letting people know they chased me out of the country. I want to get this part of my life over as soon as possible. In this country nothing good is going to come of me.” Tyson felt confident that with everything he’s gone through previously, the rest of his life should be simple. He was wrong of course, as he noticed an ongoing gambling problem which he picked up on a few years ago. He couldn’t help it; pissing away money was addictive to him and he enjoyed it. While he would win the occasional thousand, it wasn’t making up for what he had lost. After a bit of advice through a gambling-help phone line, Tyson was able to stay away from the tables for the mean time. He figured that with all the cash he still had, he’d have enough to live happily for the rest of his life… “$100,000” stated the banker. Tyson was furious and sure there was a mistake, but there was no mistake. Gambling, bills, and child support had ruined him. Millions gone; just like that. Tyson fled back to his house and laid on his bed staring at the ceiling in disbelief. He thought about going back to boxing, but he’d just ruin himself even more. He thought about opening his own pigeon zoo, but came to the conclusion that not a lot of people are interested in his interests. He even thought about betting his whole $100,000 on a game of Texas Hold’em or Blackjack, but felt that it was too risky. It was at this very moment that he looked up at the picture over his bed. He smiled at the thought; re-living the moment. It was a picture of March 29th, 1998; Wrestlemania 14. The photo was taken at the perfect moment of Tyson’s fist connecting with HBK’s jaw; Austin standing in the background. Tyson then got chills as he thought of the craziest idea ever. An idea that he had always wanted to do, but never had the time or balls to pull it off. Tyson smirked and nodded his head as he looked through his personal book of numbers. He found the seven digits he was looking for along with the area code. Phone in hand, he dialed the number…

Backstory Continued... “What?” “I said I want to start my own promotion.” Replied Tyson. “You’re ****ing crazy.” The man on the other end of the phone was none other than the man he counted the three count for at WM14, Stone Cold Steve Austin. They talked for well over an hour about why Tyson needs to do this, racking up his phone bill in the process. They came to the conclusion that Tyson had no other choice, so indeed Austin would help Tyson onto his feet. Austin agreed to call up everyone he knew to see if they were interested in joining the new company, while Tyson made decisions about the promotion and booked some arena’s for 2007. Austin gave Tyson a call back a few days later with the good news. They discussed some more while Austin listed off the number of people who agreed to join. “I got about fourteen people in total. That’ll be enough to start you off. Some of your top guns are Sean Waltman, Mikey Whipwreck, Buff Bagwell and Jerry Lynn. They’ll put on phenomenal matches for you and take care of most things backstage. And I’ll tell you what Mike, I’ll even kick my foot in the door for the first show just to guide you through everything. Heck, put my picture on the poster to gain popularity, whatever you need, I’ll be there for the first show and that’s the bottom line.” Tyson replied in amazement, “Wow, thank you so much Mr. Austin. This means so much to me you have no idea. You know I wouldn’t have been able to do this without out thank you for scouting all that talent and thank you for agreeing to come for the first show.” “Agreeing? I’m demanding, big shot. You don’t want your career as a promoter to end on the first night do you?” They laughed as a sign of confidence while they furthered future plans. Once the phone was hung up, Tyson was ready to roll.

www.nywtyson.com In what promises to be a successful opening show for New York Wrestling, we will witness a 4 vs 4 elimination match where the remaining competitors will fight it out to be crowned the first ever NYW Heavyweight Champion. To minimize confusion, here are four different outcomes which can take place: #1. Team A or B wins the 4 v 4 and didn’t have any members of their team eliminated; a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match will be then held to determine the champion. #2. Team A or B wins the 4 v 4 and had only one member eliminated; a Triple Threat Elimination Match will then be held, excluding the member who was eliminated. #3. Team A or B wins the 4 v 4 and had two of their four members eliminated; a Singles Match will then be held including the two remaining superstars to determine the champion. #4. Team A or B wins the 4 v 4 and had all their members eliminated except for one, the person remaining his the NYW champion. The teams for this bout are: Mikey Whipwreck, Sean Waltman, Kid Kash and Azrieal VS Buff Bagwell, Jerry Lynn, Shark Boy and The Amazing Red. This is one bout, or possibly two bouts, you do not want to miss! Also, Owner of NYW Mike Tyson will be in the house and has confirmed that he will be sharing a few words with those in attendance. And for the NYW Tag Team championships, we will witness three teams battle it out to be the best. Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens, better known as The Naturals, will be taking on the teams of Izzy & Dixie, better known as Special K and Johnny Devine & Eric Young, better known as Team Canada. This promises to be a hell of an elimination match as each team hopes to become the first to capture NYW Tag Team gold. Lastly, WWE legend himself will be involved with the NYW kick off show! That’s right, Stone Cold Steve Austin will have his foot in the door as it is unknown what exactly his duty will be, one thing’s for sure, he’ll be there! Wednesday, January 17th 2007 New York Wrestling Results The first ever NYW event kicks off as all the lights go out except for the spotlights in the ring. The national anthem plays as the crowd stands tall in respect. After everyone has taken their seats, the music of NYW owner Mike Tyson hits and he walks out from the back to a standing ovation. Tyson then grabs the microphone and begins to speak. He talks about how he had a dream, and it wasn’t to be the best boxer in the world, how it wasn’t to be titled the baddest man on the planet, but to stand in front of a crowd in a wrestling ring, the owner of a promotion. He then asks everyone to rise to their feet to have to save them from doing so in a few seconds, as he introduces the man that made it all happen for him; Stone Cold Steve Austin! The small, but noisy crowd blew up in excitement as the Texas rattlesnake made his way to the ring. Austin and Tyson pulled off a quick comedy act then Austin cut right down to the chase. He stated that he was here for one night only and that was to make an impact. Stone Cold promised that by the end of the night, someone was going to get a can of whoop-ass opened on them. 3-Team Elimination; Tag Team Championships: The Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) V Special K (Izzy & Dixie) V Team Canada (Johnny Devine & Eric Young) In what was a spectacular first match of not only the show, but NYW history, all three teams battled it out to win the gold but obviously only one team was victorious. Eric Young performed very well in this match and stood out more than the others possibly because of his excellent selling techniques. About half way through the match, Dixie and Young were battling back and forth when Young got in a cut off with a rake to the eyes. Dixie spun in a whole circle and then was followed up with a devastating Superkick. The ref counted the three as Izzy came in too late to make the save. The final two teams remain as Chase Stevens and Johnny Devine took up most of the rest of the match. In the end, Team Canada missed a double clothesline on Douglas and was countered with a double dropkick instead. Young flew to the outside and was taken out of the action while The Naturals hoisted Devine up into the air, crashing him down hard with the Natural Disaster. Stevens made the cover as Douglas secured the pinfall and the win. The Naturals celebrated with their new titles as Team Canada limped to the back in disbelief. Winners and the first ever NYW Tag Team Champions: The Naturals After the Naturals fled to the back, Stone Cold came out for the second time tonight to about the same ovation as he had before. He grabbed the microphone and stated that he spilled his beer outback and got a bit upset. So upset that he’s begging for someone to come out right now so he can open the can of whoop-ass like he promised earlier. The crowd turned their attention to the curtain, but no one came out. Before dropping the microphone, Austin stated that he’ll be back out later tonight and he guarantees that someone will eventually answer him. 4V4 Elimination; Winning Team fights for Heavyweight Title; Mikey Whipwreck, Sean Waltman, Kid Kash & Azrieal V Buff Bagwell, Jerry Lynn, Shark Boy & The Amazing Red This was definitely a great match with some star power involved to get the crowd really into it. Azrieal was the first gone out of the eight men and was eliminated by Buff Bagwell after Buff grabbed a handful of tights to roll him up for the pin. Azrieal looked very disappointed but accepted defeat. Next eliminated, to everyone’s surprise was The Amazing Red; after missing the Red Star Press, Red walked right into the Buzzkill from Sean Waltman to get the 3 count. Each team is now down to three competitors as Kid Kash and Jerry Lynn battled it out in an old school fashion. After a series of counters, Kash was flattened with the Cradle Piledriver to be defeated. Waltman came in looking for strong offence but to no avail; he’d soon be caught with a Tornado DDT from the corner to be defeated by Lynn as well. So now it came down to 3 on 1, with Shark Boy not even getting in the match yet. The numbers were certainly stacked against Mikey Whipwreck and they were too much for him in the end as he got caught with the Block Buster to be defeated. Buff Bagwell, Jerry Lynn and Shark Boy will now break off into a Triple Threat Elimination Match to determine the NYW champion. Winning Team: Buff Bagwell, Jerry Lynn, Shark Boy (& The Amazing Red - eliminated) Triple Threat Elimination; NYW Heavyweight Championship: Buff Bagwell V Jerry Lynn V Shark Boy Even though Shark Boy was the freshest man in, he didn’t stand a chance against the Block Buster, eliminating him within the first few minutes of the match. That left two; Bagwell & Lynn for the NYW Title. The crowd was highly into this bout as both men were exhausted but still battling, pulling out all the stops to win the gold. In the end, Buff climbed to the top, aiming for the ever so popular Block Buster, but Lynn was able to run up the turnbuckle and meet him. Both men balancing on the top rope, Lynn hooked Bagwell and……….. *Waits for Holy **** chants* SPANISH FLY!!! And the crowd broke out. Lynn put his arm over Bagwell. 1…2……three! The crowd erupted as Lynn was handed his NYW Heavyweight title. Lynn immediately went over the top, running to the outside and celebrating with the crowd. He walked to the back, hands in the air as Bagwell was only beginning to come to. Winner and the first ever NYW Heavyweight Champion: Jerry Lynn After the dust had settled, Stone Cold made his way back out, shirt drenched in beer and half stumbling to the ring. He grabbed the microphone and obviously drunk, began to stutter on his words. He admitted that he had a bit too much to drink but is pissed off because he wasted a lot of beer on his shirt and demands that someone come out and get an ass-whooping. At this point, Austin was attacked from behind and a brawl broke out. None other than Teddy Hart was the one to step up and was currently putting a beating on Austin. He stomped on Austin a few times before grabbing a microphone. Teddy ordered that a ref come down immediately because a match is about to start. Not even seconds later, a ref ran out from the back and the bell was sounded. Singles Match Stone Cold Steve Austin V Teddy Hart Teddy had things going his way until the bell rang; then he got his ass kicked. Austin fought back hard with rights, lefts, kicks and a few of his signature moves. About five or six minutes after the bell had rang, it looked like it was all over as Austin stalked Teddy Hart and nailed the Stone Cold Stunner. 1…2…Suddenly the referee was pulled out of the ring and kicked in the head. Team Canada (Devine & Young) entered the ring and began beating on Austin while the referee was laid out on the outside! Suddenly, when Austin seemed lifeless, none other than NYW owner Mike Tyson ran out from the back and chased the three men off, saving Austin in the process. Austin then came to and realized what had happened. He extended his hand to Mike Tyson as a show of respect for saving him from Team Canada. They shook hands and Austin called for some beers. A few got thrown in while Austin & Tyson gave a toast. Then… You guessed it- Tyson was laid out with a Stone Cold Stunner. The crowd cheered as Austin laughed in a comedic way. • 5 weeks later...
Breaking Kayfabe The show ended on good terms as everyone sat in the lockeroom still wiping sweat off their foreheads. Tyson handed out everyone’s pay in an envelope as some wrestlers were about to take a shower. Tyson stopped everyone of what they were doing and had their attention focused on him. He congratulated and thanked everyone for a spectacular show before touching on the bad side of things. He mentioned that there was a major loss financially but he wasn’t worried as it was the first show and it was expected. Tyson went on to say that since all of their shows are reasonably close together, he does not want anyone breaking kayfabe, meaning heels travel with heels and faces travel with faces unless there is no chance of them being spotted by fans. He suggested tag teams travel together as well in case workers come across marks, this way it is kept realistic and nothing is exposed. Everyone seemed satisfied and agreed. The owner then told the roster that they could go on with their night and he’d see them in two weeks time. Mike Tyson had the duty of driving Steve Austin to the airport to catch his plane, therefore they left together. It wasn’t too long of a drive; about twenty minutes or so, yet they still had loads to talk about. They arrived at the airport only a few minutes before the departure of Austin’s plane, however before taking his bags out of the trunk, he and Tyson had some last words. “So you think you’ll be able to take it from here?” asked Austin. Tyson replied, “You showed me a lot Steve and I respect that so much; I really do feel confident about my position so I’m sure I’ll be fine.” Austin laughed, “I don’t believe you, so I called one of my good friends up to help you out. He lives in New York so it won’t be a hassle. As a matter of fact, he was sitting in the front row tonight. His name’s Rian, but we call him Jet. He’s a real smart guy who grew up the Dupree family; Emil, Jeff and Rene, before moving to New York. He’s young but knows what it’s like to travel with the business and make key decisions. I promised him a position on your booking team; I knew you wouldn’t mind, right?” “Wha.. I mean, yeah, yes, no problem at all Mr. Austin. I know you know what you’re doing,” Replied Tyson. “Listen, was the show spectacular or not tonight? Exactly, and I’m guessing you want the show’s to continue being a success? Exactly, that’s why this guy is right for the job… Mike, trust me.” At this time Austin was ready to catch his plane. Tyson thanked Austin for everything and promised to keep in touch. He wished him the best of luck back at WWE, but before Austin could leave, he mentioned one last thing; “Whenever you need me, I’m here. One phone call is all it takes and I’ll do anything.” With that said, they shook hands as Austin walked through the doors to catch his plane.

WWE have been looking desperate lately as two of their former top stars have taken over separate companies within the past month. Although Vince McMahon is a very confident business man, there has to be a small part of him that is the least worried. Chris Jericho took over Wrestling Factory Stars based in West Central Mexico and is currently defined as a Lucha Entertainment style. Jericho recently told the press that although it may be a small federation, it will rise before anyone even notices; contending with the top dogs. WFS also have non other than Al Snow as its head booker. And to everyone’s surprise, Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock took over Baja Stars recently, which is also situated in Mexico however in the Northern part. Rock mentioned that Mexico is currently the place to be if a promotion is looking to be successful due to its rise in wrestling interest over the past few months. With that said, this brings us back to our top story; Carlito on the move? It may be possible. WWE’s own second generation superstar’s contract is set to expire at the end of February, leaving only one month left for negotiations. Sources indicate that he has been contacted by Chris Jericho and The Rock, as well as Jerry Jarrett! Nothing is 100% confirmed at the moment but WWE have definitely re-offered him a contract recently, however it hasn’t been signed as of yet. Carlito currently feels fluttered with all the offers and is currently thinking of different possibilities, but it’s obvious that WWE wants him to stay, as he’s been undefeated in over two months, holding victories over superstars such as Johnny Nitro and The Undertaker! Sources indicate that the chances of Carlito leaving are slim; however there still is a possibility.

www.nywtyson.com Two singles matches have already been confirmed for the February 1st edition of New York Wrestling at the Amherst Pepsi center in Williamsville, NY. Kid Kash is scheduled to take on Mikey Whipwreck while Sean Waltman goes head to head with Shark Boy. All four of these superstars were involved in the 4v4 elimination match last week but all came up short; therefore look for each of them to try and prove to one another who really is the best. Also, former WWE and WCW star Sean O’Haire has recently signed on with NYW. His role is currently unknown but one thing’s for sure, he’ll be at the show! And lastly, the main event has still yet to be decided, however many more of NYW’s own will be in the house including the current and first ever NYW Heavyweight champion Jerry Lynn, as well as NYW’s Tag Champions The Naturals! Wednesday, February 1st 2007 New York Wrestling Results All lights but the one spotlight centered in the ring go dark and the national anthem is played as the small crowd rises in respect. After they have seated, a quick video is played to show the events of NYW’s January 17th edition. With that in the past, the February 1st edition is set to start. Singles Match Kid Kash V Mikey Whipwreck This was an excellent bout to open the show and the crowd seemed very please with the result. A nice spot in the match came when Kash, holding onto Mikey’s arm, spring boarded from the second to the top rope and ended with a solid looking hurricanrana. Sadly for Kash, the crowd stayed behind Mikey which caused him to battle back and get the victory with the Whippersnapper. Winner: Mikey Whipwreck After the match, Mike Tyson came out to a standing ovation. He talked on the microphone and gave the original thank you for coming speech before getting down to business. Tyson booked two further matches for the end of the night including the debuting Sean O’Haire against a current wrestler from WWE! The crowd seemed quite impressed with the announcement and was just as thrilled as he announced a 3V3 main event. The competitors included NYW Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn teaming up with Izzy and Dixie of Special K to take on the new Team Canada formed of Teddy Hart, Eric Young and Johnny Devine. Singles Match Sean Waltman V Shark Boy All I can really say about this match is that the crowd really hates Sean Waltman. Despite chants such as “No One Likes You” and “Where is X-Pac?” as well as having food thrown at him on more than one occasion, he was still able to pick up the victory. Half a hot dog landed in the ring and as the referee tried to kick it to the outside, Waltman got a cheap shot to the nuts of Shark Boy then finished him off with the Buzzkill to get the victory. Winner: Sean Waltman Backstage, NYW Tag Team champions The Naturals cut a quick promo. Some may have considered it a weak promo but it got the message across. They basically boasted themselves as being the best tag champions ever, with no other team even being able to compete in their league. Suddenly, the camera’s changed scenes and we were in NYW Owner Mike Tyson’s office. Eric Young and Johnny Devine barged in yelling and complaining about something that didn’t really make sense at first, but after a brief moment, everyone understood. Young explained to Tyson that they hadn’t been able to get a hold of Teddy all day and that he’s not at the arena. Tyson seemed to be in a slump for the main event but then finished off the segment by saying, “Don’t worry, I have a back-up plan.” Sean O’Haire made his debut to some heavy heat. He played the crowd well as he waited for his mystery opponent. Singles Match Sean O’Haire V … Jeff Hardy The crowd erupted as Hardy appeared as the mystery opponent while O’Haire flipped out. Many wondered how Hardy could be competing in NYW while being under contract with WWE but they seemed to have forgotten about it rather quickly. Once the match finally was started, it went back and forth on several occasions with no one really getting the upper hand. This was probably the match of the night as the crowd couldn’t stay in their seats. O’Haire seemed really over as a heel and it helped the bout greatly. In the end, both competitors moved out of the way of each other’s Swanton Bombs before flipping over the ropes and battling on the outside. O’Haire brought Hardy through the crowd and slammed him on some seats before throwing him into hockey boards. The referee reached his ten count and declared a double count out as both men continued to brawl on the outside. Wrestlers from the back eventually ran out and broke things up before moving on with the rest of the show. Winner: Draw 3V3 Tag Match Jerry Lynn & Special K (Izzy & Dixie) V Team Canada (Johnny Devine & Eric Young) & ??? The five competitors made their way out to the ring waiting to see what Tyson’s back-up plan was. Suddenly, boos echoed through the arena as Buff ‘the stuff’ Bagwell made his way out with a microphone. He stated that since he’s doing Tyson a favor by filling in his main event, if his team wins tonight, he gets a shot at Jerry Lynn’s title next week. The crowd booed even more as the match got underway. It was quite the bout as Izzy and Young really put on a hell of a show. The crowd applauded their stand off and signature moves as they were performed. I think that the audience expected Teddy Hart to interfere in this match and screw Jerry Lynn, but surprisingly, he didn’t show up. In the end, the two tag teams broke out and began to battle away, leaving all attention to the center of the ring. Buff Bagwell hoisted Jerry Lynn up onto his shoulders in a Death Valley Driver position and seemed as if he was going to perform that maneuver but Lynn flipped out of it and spun Buff around to nail him with a devastating Cradle Piledriver. The crowd erupted as the referee’s hand hit the mat for the third time. Bagwell looked to be out cold as Lynn raised his arms in victory while Special K came back to celebrate. Breaking Kayfabe The show ended on pretty good terms as Mike Tyson walked into the lockeroom with a handful of envelopes. He handed out everyone’s pay before giving a significant speech. He mentioned that he runs on a three strikes and you’re out policy; the reason why he’s bringing this up is because Teddy Hart now has one strike against him for not showing up at the show. He explained that unless a wrestler is not booked for the show, he needs to be here. He furthered that he doesn’t know why Teddy Hart isn’t here, but that he will be warned and given a long and solid talk about working for NYW. Everyone seemed satisfied with his comments as Jeff Hardy spoke up. “So, he just didn’t show up? That’s pretty weird.” A couple of the wrestlers smirked at Hardy’s comment but he didn’t realize. Tyson explained that they may have lost money once again tonight, but it’s still an improvement. Soon after, Jerry Lynn and Buff Bagwell were overheard talking to each other about Teddy Hart, and how he has no respect for the business or anyone in it. They stated that his ‘stunt’ really messed up the card and possibly future plans. From the other side of the room, Team Canada was ease-dropping on their conversation but acted as if they had heard nothing. Later that night… “They’re a pretty good group,” said Jet. Owner Mike Tyson and his new head booker had left the arena and decided to go out to a nice little restaurant to discuss some future plans. “Oh for sure; the only part of the roster that really scares me is Team Canada. Although Devine and Young aren’t too bad considering that they’re reliable and honest, it’s mainly Teddy Hart that I need to keep my eye on. Seriously, not showing up for the show tonight may have just been a big mistake not only for him, but for his future here in NYW. He won’t even answer his damn cell phone,” replied Tyson. “Why are you scared about Devine and Young? They seem like pretty cool guys,” asked Jet. “Austin told me they were snitches and only look out for themselves. Now I’m not 100% sure on how bad they actually are, but I’d hate for them to get a hold of any information that they don’t need to know about.” Jet and Tyson moved forward with their meal and nothing really seemed to be out of the ordinary. Toward the end, they got to talking about some future plans for NYW. “What exactly are you looking for, from me as head booker? I mean, I know you want great shows and you want to grow, but what else do you expect of me?” asked Jet. “I’m glad you brought that up actually, I almost forgot. Considering that we’ve lost some cash over the past two shows, I can’t have this happening too often. It’s normal for now, but this shouldn’t continue. If Austin taught me anything, it was to never deal with anything you don’t need to. Therefore what I need you to do is make sure the promotion doesn’t go into dept within the next year or so. That’s your ultimate goal, Jet. If we go into debt, we’re just about screwed because I don’t have money to spare at the moment,” replied Tyson. Jet looked confident in himself and nodded with satisfaction, although a small part of him was hinting that he may have trouble doing so.

Writer’s Note I try to keep these posts to a minimum as I don’t really like going too much out of character, but I will post one anytime I feel the need to discuss something. I’d first off like to say that I’ve done many diaries in the past but I’ve never enjoyed one this much before. It might be possibly because I’m building this from ground up. Basically trying to bring a local fed to the big leagues, so I feel that it makes everything much more interesting. Also, I only started with $100,000 which may seem like a lot but really it’s no where near what I’d like to have. I don’t believe in using the editor either unless it’s to import so you’ll never see me down to $8,000 and then use the editor back up to $100,000. I feel that takes the fun away, therefore if I do end up at $8,000, then that’s where I’m staying. As for everyone who’s posted and predicted thus far, thank you so much I really appreciate it as it motivates me even more than I already am.
Dude, seeing your a follower of my diary, that automatically makes me a reader of yours. Cant wait to see what Iron Mike does here! I had the privilege of Meeting Mike in London last year and hes a nice fella actually, so this is gonna be great.
-The Ego(GDS) I’m glad that some people have that respect as to if someone reads your diary then you’ll read theirs, because I feel that that shows sportsmanship and respect.
I like this so far and I reckon it'd be a larf if Tyson did something like this irl.
-The Rabbitman(Corp-X) Well, I’m trying to stick to realism as much as possible but there has to be a bit of fantasy and unrealism in order to make things work. Comment much appreciated.
LOVED the backstory, very cool Not sure about the pics though dude lol...makes the fed seem so small...i know you can't make any good ones atm, but i'd go without if i were you.
-Ignition(Corp-X) Thanks Ignition I’m glad you enjoyed the backstory. I put a lot of effort into it actually, did my research and whatnot. As for the pics, well they’re supposed to be posters like advertising that you would put on telephone polls. Seeing as I’m a local fed, well small now actually, I’m only going to be staying in one area mainly which would be the Tri-State, therefore I didn’t want to make intense graphics although it may have looked better. Also, due to the fact my Paint Shop Pro is down, my graphics are going to suck big time, hence the Sean O’Haire pic and although it may be a good idea to just forget about posters and not make them, I feel that any pics add to the diary and make them that much better. Your opinion is greatly appreciated though and if I find that I’m too limited in paint when making the posters, I may just listen to you ;)
Been reading your dynasty and I quite like the idea and it's executed well. Main question is was Teddy Hart's no-show story based or in-game reality based?
-Mackem(GDS) Well, that was supposed to be the mystery but as proof of evidence regarding my previous post, he actually didn’t show up in my game, therefore since I act like the diary is real life, I tried to make it as realistic as possible. I’m glad you enjoy the diary, thanks for reading and I hope you also enjoy the minor twists such as the current Teddy Hart angle.
pretty good read though this keep it going but mike tyson owner i hope you know what your doing with this and is this from the tew game.
-jerlito(GDS) Thanks jerlito, and yes this is from TEW05. I’m hoping that when 07 comes out I can convert this over and continue it there if everything works out. As for Tyson being owner, I figured why not? I’m a man of taking risks and therefore I figured this diary would either bomb or be great. Once again, thank you everyone for your comments and remember; I love all feedback, positive and negative. Let me know what I can improve on as well and that’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone and enjoy.

Two weeks ago, our top story involved Carlito and his current contract offers. This week, we have the scoop on what went down. It seems that Carlito has re-signed with WWE and is going to be staying there for a while. Although the terms were not discussed, wrestling experts guess that the contract was signed for over a three year deal. Currently, Carlito is feuding with World Heavyweight Champion Batista and has been so ever since he was offered contracts by other companies. Some have to wonder how much longer this storyline will last now that Carlito is secured in WWE for a while, as a title run doesn’t look too likely this early in his career. A shocking occurrence happened a short two weeks ago at TNA’s Impact tapings. Jeff Jarrett was defending his Heavyweight title against non other than Rhino when about eight or nine minutes into the match, Rhino nailed a devastating DDT on Jarrett and went for the cover. The referee counted and hesitantly got the three count as Jarrett lay motionless. Rhino was surprisingly crowned the new Heavyweight champion as referee Rudy Charles signaled for an X-call. Paramedics rushed out from the back to discover that Jarrett was actually knocked out cold from the move! Sources indicate that Rhino was not actually supposed to win as Jarrett was supposed to go over but due to this unfortunate event, Rhino had to be crowned the new champion. We have recently received word that Jarrett suffered a minor concussion and will be out for the next month, as he was not at the last Impact tapings. It seems that until Jarrett gets back, Rhino will hold onto the title but the chances of him keeping it too much longer are slim. So the question has now come about; to get somewhere in the wrestling business, do you need to ‘accidentally’ knock out the World champion? And lastly, Teddy Hart decided not to show up at a New York Wrestling event last week due to the fact that he was wrestling for another company. NYW owner Mike Tyson asked Hart why he didn’t tell him that he was booked somewhere else and Teddy replied “I didn’t want you to get upset.” It seems that Tyson was obviously more upset for not being told as a few others of his superstars such as Azrieal and the Amazing Red were working the same show, but let Tyson know in advance. Tyson claimed that Hart is in deep water and although he believes in forgiving, he doesn’t believe in forgetting.

Wednesday, February 14th 2007 New York Wrestling Results All lights but the one spotlight centered in the ring go dark and the national anthem is played as the small crowd rises in respect. After they have seated, a quick video is played to show the events of NYW’s February 1st edition. With that in the past, the February 14th edition is set to start. Singles Match Kid Kash V Shark Boy Considering that the crowd just watched these two competitors lose both of their matches previously in the video from last week, they got a ‘You Both Lost’ chant at the start of their bout which Kid Kash took some good heat from. The bout was a good opener which saw Kid Kash receive his first ever win here in NYW while Shark Boy’s losing streak continued. Kash beat him cleanly with the Money Maker about twelve or thirteen minutes into the match. Winner: Kid Kash Mike Tyson made his way out to a standing ovation just like he’s been getting at his past shows. Again, he gave the casual thank you for coming speech before announcing a match that was supposed to take place last week but didn’t happen. He told the audience that in the main event tonight, we’d see the team of Jerry Lynn and Special K take on the stable of Team Canada. He added a bit of a twist however; if Team Canada wins, Teddy Hart would get a shot at the NYW Heavyweight Championship next week. If Team Canada lost however, they would have to face each other in a triple threat match. The crowd seemed impressed by the announcement. Singles Match Sean Waltman V Mikey Whipwreck This was a great match that the crowd got heavily involved in. They stayed behind Mikey the whole way and basically booed Waltman until he left the ring. The fans either really hate Waltman, or love to hate him because an encore of last week occurred with drinks and food thrown into the ring toward him. In the end, Waltman took control of Whipwreck and went for the Buzzkill only to have his legs caught and to be rolled up for the 1-2-3. The crowd cheered heavily toward Whipwreck’s victory while Waltman took a bit of a temper tantrum in the ring. Winner: Mikey Whipwreck We went backstage to see the Naturals cut an almost identical promo as last week’s except this time there was a catch. They announced that next week, for their titles, the winning tag team of tonight’s main event (Special K or Team Canada) will get their shot at the gold. The camera cut scenes to see Buff ‘the stuff’ Bagwell in his private lockeroom. He talked for a few minutes about how he deserves to be in the main event every night with the title wrapped around his waist; not Jerry Lynn’s. He threatened Lynn that soon enough, he would be coming to get what’s rightfully his. Singles Rematch Sean O’Haire V Jeff Hardy This was quite the interesting rematch and was just as good, if not better than their previous encounter. Whoever said that sequels aren’t as good must have been an idiot. The small but noisy crowd was very satisfied with this bout as it was probably the match of the night. Once again, O’Haire played the ultimate heel and was able to get everyone on Hardy’s side which was good to see. The match continually went back and forth once again with no one getting the clear upper-hand. Everyone thought the match was over when Sean O’Haire nailed Hardy with a Senton Bomb but to everyone’s amazement, Hardy was able to get a foot on the bottom rope. Hardy suddenly took over and hit a Twist of Fate. As he climbed to the top, O’Haire reached into his tights and slipped something around his fist. Hardy came off with a Swanton Bomb and seemed to have hit it; however O’Haire stuck his fist into the air during the landing and drove the brass knuckles into the back of Hardy’s neck. The referee missed what happened and counted the three as O’Haire made it to the back as fast as he could. Winner: Sean O’Haire 3V3 Tag Match Team Canada (Teddy Hart, Johnny Devine & Eric Young) V Jerry Lynn & Special K (Izzy & Dixie) In case you heard about the rumors on the internet from the past two weeks, Teddy Hart missed NYW’s previous show. This week however, he was here and ready to wrestle. Team Canada came out waving their Canadian Flag in the New York arena to heavy boos. Once the music of Jerry Lynn hit however, the crowd exploded with excitement. The match got underway and went for close to twenty minutes. There was a ton of action as both sides evenly got in their offense. Many close calls caused the crowd to gasp every couple of minutes which made the bout that much more exciting. Jerry Lynn and Teddy Hart got in the match for a good part of the length and seemed to be stiffing the hell out of each other. Chops, hard-blows and aggressive maneuvers seemed to be what these two thrived on tonight. The crowd ate it up pretty well though as it led up to the ending. Dixie was taken out halfway through the match with a back body drop to the outside and never really recovered, therefore that left Team Canada to take the heat on Izzy. Once he made the tag, Lynn fired up for the hot comeback. He took out all members of Team Canada once, twice, three times each before being cut off with a swinging neckbreaker. Devine and Young took Izzy to the outside while the two captains battled it in the ring. Young snuck back in and caught Lynn by surprise with a Superkick which desperately changed the momentum. Hart was able to capitalize and climb to the top to nail a Triple Bypass for the victory. The crowd booed heavily as Team Canada celebrated their win and all made the sign of a title around their waists. Wrestler B compete in?" or something along the likes of that. Good Luck.
That was my quote from my very first card I've ever posted in this diary. If you don't believe me, then go check! Just playin... anyway, it's been three shows now meaning it's all tallied up and we have a winner. Congratulations to The Rabbitman, I'll be contacting him asap regarding my next show. Once my next card is up, the process will start over again, therefore you may have the chance of giving me a piece of your creative mind.
