World Wrestling Entertainment: Continued Domination

Recommended Posts

Thanks for reading this and I'm very glad you like it. Like you said, it is a pretty difficult dynasty to pull off, that is why I appriciate the feedback so much. It requires alot of work, but I've pretty much got every major event planned to WrestleMania, so it's easier now. As for the Simon Dean thing, it will be adressed in the next couple weeks to months, just sit back and enjoy. By the way, I think everyone will love the current WrestleMania main event planed.

Fair play, I'll look forward to where you take Nova/Dean, and look forward to 'Mania. Maybe another, very broad, suggestion/request, which I think you are sort of touching on already is the real life problem/potential of ECW. Being an ECW-mark back in the good old days (was actually a WWF and bit of a WCW mark too- cliche I know but it really was the viewers who won back then) so obviously not a fan of the current ECW (r/l) and would love to see it returned to its former state. Problem with that is using WWE guys in ECW seems a bit lame and the old ECW guys have for the most part just been jobbed out in WWE and as such lost credibility, so it's a toughie. But if you could in any way you could lean towards old ECW I know I, amongst others, would enjoy it. Again, kudos on a strong diary on a topic which is hard to gain credibility aka current day WWE

Quit with the suggestions, keefmoon. Do you know what gimmick Bucci had that was worse than Dean, Nova. And with the bringing back of the old ECW, ECW failed for a reason. On a different note, Captain Canuck is the greatest gimmick of all-time, and who better to use it on than "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen? I hope you push him to atleast IC Title level. I was suprised he was able to pull of a B+ with Flair, that means good things.

Really liking your RAW...Captain Canuck is a good character, and putting him over Flair should help develope him in your big push of Steen... Looks like Kenny Doane is about to make a name for himself in singles competition and thats a good thing... Poor Harry Smith, getting destroyed by Lesnar...A program or team with Doane could be a nice combinaition as we get a look into the future of RAW
Quit with the suggestions, keefmoon. Do you know what gimmick Bucci had that was worse than Dean, Nova. Personally, as a fan of ECW I wouldn't like to see Simon Dean in an ECW ring. No, I was particularly a fan of Nova either, but it was (IMO) better than Dean. And if you look carefully, the return of the old ECW thing was labelled as a suggestion/request. And it was just that. If I was making a diary on here I'd appreciate the feedack of the people who are reading it and what they would like to see. He doesn't haven't to change it if he doesn't want, that's fine with me. And I'd really appreciate it if you didn't jump down my throat. This is usually a friendly forum and I like the majority of the people on here. I only left feedback to give SHaynes23 my opinion on what's going on and it's there for him to either consider it or ignore it, whichever is his choice, and I appreciate that. To be honest, I don't know where you get off acting as if your opinion is fact. I would like to ECW be a little more extreme and a bit more like old ECW. Sue me.

Friday Night Smackdown! Friday, November Week 2, 2006 Live from New Orleans, LA Attendence: 5,000 Smackdown kicks off with General Manager Theodore Long making his way out to ringside. He gets on the mic and said that he has a huge announcement that the fans are going to love. Starting right now, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit will be facing off in a best of seven series, to determine once and for all, who is the greatest technical wrestler on Smackdown. And the opening match is next! Grade- B Match One (Series Tied at 0) vs. This was a great opening match, and a great opener to this best of seven series. As expected, these two men had a great technical showcase, and any young wrestler looking to break into the business should look no further than these two great wrestlers on who they should model their career over. There was great back and forth action, with each man locking in brutal submission maneuvers that the other man barely escaped from. The ending came when Angle tried hitting the Angle Slam, but Benoit went behind and hit the hat trick of German's, then went up top, but Angle scaled the ropes after him, but Benoit threw him off, then nailed a huge Flying Headbutt to pull out a 1-0 lead in the series. Winner- Chris Benoit Grade- A Batista is backstage, he says that tonight, it is his honor to finally do battle with The Undertaker, and that will show him where he is in his career. But before he can fight Taker, he must address Randy Orton. He says that Orton is writing checks that his butt can't cash, and that he plans on making Randy Orton pay for costing him the World Title. Grade- B Ares comes out to ringside, and reminds everybody that he is the God of the Cruiserweights, and that it is only a matter of time before he captures the Cruiuserweight Championship, and tonight he is going to go through a WWE fan favorite, Matt Hardy, like he is nothing at all, which according to Ares, he actually is. Grade- C vs. Matt Hardy came out firing in this one, but it did not last long, because it seems that not only can Ares talk the talk, he can also walk the walk. Ares then proceded to take over the match, wrestling Hardy into the ground. Even though Hardy had the size advantage, Ares showed why he calls himself God of the Cruiserweights. Ares, after tearing apart Matt Hardy, hit him with a Brainbuster for the big victory. Winner- Ares Grade- C+ Rey Mysterio reminds everyone that last week he demanded a match against Chavo Guerrero for Survivor Series, and he has been informed that Teddy Long is going to give him a decision next week. But he can't just sit around and wait for a decision, he has to keep the ring rust off, so he will fight in a match next. Grade- B- vs. This was another great match here on Smackdown. Helms and Mysterio met on Smackdown a couple of months ago, but Chavo interfered in that match, causing Helms to get the win. That wasn't going to happen this time, as these two great athletes were able to put on a interference free match that the fans could enjoy. The ending came with a 619 and West Coast Pop, for a Rey Mysterio victory heading towards Survivor Series. Winner- Rey Mysterio Grade- B- After the match, Mysterio helped Helms up to his feet, and offered his hand out to him, which Helms took, and the two shook hands, congratulating each other on a hard fought match. Grade- C+ Finlay comes out and says that the Hell in a Cell that he is going to enter in a little more than two weeks does not scare him at all. He comes from Ireland, he has faced men tougher than The Undertaker, in much more brutal conditions. He said that Taker already has a match tonight, and everybody knows he loves to fight, so he issued an open challenge to anybody in the back. Grade- B vs. The swashbuckler himself answered the challenge of Finlay. Burchill, who is coming fresh off winning the United States Championship two weeks ago looked very impressive in his return, but may have bit off more than he could chew. Finlay was very angry, and took his frustrations out on Paul Burchill. Burchill eventually started turning the tide, but with the ref's back turned, Finlay got in a shilleaghlie shot on Burchill, giving him a much needed win heading into his Hell in a Cell match at Survivor Series. Winner- Finlay Grade- B- A video is played highlighting the recent events between the former Tag Champions, Brian Kendrick and Paul London, and highlights London's brutal assaults over the last two weeks. Grade- C- vs. This match was very heated, and was like watching a ping pong match, it was very back and forth with non-stop action. At least half the time someone was air bound, trying to take out their opponent. London lived up to his recent bad boy streak though, when Kendrick hit him with a flying crossbody, but London rolled through, then pinned him and grabbed a handful of tights, giving him the victory over his former partner. Winner- Paul London Grade- C Ken Kennedy gets in the ring and introduces himself, he then says that this is horrible what Teddy Long is making him do. He could be World Heavyweight Champion, and Smackdown could be making tons of money, but their biggest star is stuck fighting second tier wrestlers, and is forced to go back up to the top, even though he was already there. Grade- B vs. Kennedy's next step up the Smackdown ladder went through the proud memeber of the Lakoda tribe, Tatanka. This step did not come easy either as Tatanka was not going down without a fight. Kennedy eventually proved to be too much for Tatanka though, as he overtook him with a series of impressive moves, leading into the Lambeau Leap for the victory. Winner- Ken Kennedy Grade- C+ Just when the fans thought they were going to make it through Smackdown without hearing from the World Heavyweight Champion, King Booker, or John Bradshaw Layfield, they make their way down to the ring. They talk about how they have their forth member in Kane, and now they are an unstoppable force. They tell the fans to just look at the people in the match. JBL, Booker, Kane and Edge, against Tommy Dreamer, RVD, and Sabu and someone to be named, how can ECW possibly stack up against WWE? They tell the fans to find something new to do on Tuesday nights, because come the first week of December, ECW will be no more. Grade- B+ vs. This was a huge main event, with the Smackdown fans torn right down the middle on who to cheer for, as Batista and Undertaker chants could be heard. These two bohemeths went toe to toe trading punches, and neither man gave an inch. Undertaker started using his in ring knowledge to his advantage though, and hit many of his signature moves on Batista. Then all off a sudden a huge boo was heard, as Finlay and Randy Orton both hit the ring at the same time. Orton starting whaling on Batista, while Finaly began punching Undertaker. The ref then threw this potentially great main event out because of the two men. No Contest Grade- B+ After the match, Finaly and Undertaker continue to brawl, as Orton and Batista continue to fight. After a few minutes of all out brawl, Taker and Batista eventually clothesline Orton and Finlay over the top rope at the same time, and stand tall in the ring as Smackdown goes off the air. From Gerweck.net
Be sure to tune into Monday Night Raw this week. The war between WWE and ECW continues to rage on, and it heats up this week, as WWE Champion Edge will go one on one with ECW Extremist, Sabu. Also last week Umaga pledged to topple DX, what will he do on his bid to topple these two superpowers? Also last week, The Spirit Squad turned on Kenny, and attacked him in the ring. This week The Spirit Squad has promised a big announcement before a big match, Johnny will take on Kenny in one-on-one action. We will also hear from Randy Orton, and Ric Flair has requested a rematch against new Raw Superstar, Captain Canuck.
Nice smackdown... How could you possibly go wrong with a best of 7 between Angle/Beniot...That has A* written all over it... I'm liking the Ares character "God of the Cruiserweights, hopefully his victory over Hardy will increase his overness and look forward to future matchups with London and Kendrick... Speaking of, I'm really surprised you only got a C out of that matchup... Hopefully Kennedy rises to the top of smackdown, as I believe he has what it takes to carry the organization... This has got to be tough and alot of work to keep up with each brand, hopefully you dont burn out, keep up the good stuff

Thanks for the feedback there Oldschool. It is kinda hard to go wrong with a Angle/Benoit fued isn't it. The reason the London-Kendrick match only got a C was because I made the dumb mistake of playing a video of their little mini fued before it, and it brought the crowd down, but I thought it was necessary for storyline sake. Also, look for Kennedy to gain some prominance back on Smackdown, he's too good to hold down. I don't see me burning out, even though I have been doing this at a fairly fast pace, I enjoy doing it because it gives me an excuse to get deep into a game, which I have a problem doing when just playing straight through. Don't look for me to give up on this thing at least until TEW 2007 comes out, even then I might keep it going in TEW 07 with a mod set to how the wrestling world is in my game. Thanks for reading, and buckle up, this dynasty is about to get real interesting in the coming weeks.

He gets in the ring and says that in the main event tonight, the fans will see Edge tear ECW Original Sabu limb from limb, in an early preview of how things will go at Survivor Series. He also says that is not the only Team WWE vs. Team ECW match we will see tonight. He also says that his newest business transaction, Kane, will go one on one with ECW's Rob Van Dam. Grade- A The Spirit Squad makes their way to ringside, minus Kenny, who they attacked last week on Raw. Johnny has some papers in his hands, as Mikey takes the microphone. He says that he talked to Vince McMahon earlier, and not only secured a match for Johnny against Kenny tonight, but he got something else too. Johnny then hands Mitch and Nicky the papers, which they read, then have a shocked look on their faces. Mikey and Johnny then clothesline the two men over the top rope, as they inform Mitch and Nicky that they were not good enough to make the cut, and they have been handed their walking papers, made official by Vince McMahon. Mikey tells Mitch and Nicky to hit the bricks because the Spirit Squad is now a two man operation. Grade- C vs. This match was very heated and saw the usually arrogant Kenny throwing punches wildly at Johnny, angry at being attacked by his former best friends last week. He was dominating Johnny at one point, until Mikey decided to get involved. He stood up on the apron, and started yelling at Kenny and the ref with his megaphone. Kenny then decided he had enough and snatched the megaphone from Mikey and hit him over the head with it. He then turned and hit Johnny right between the eyes, earning Johnny the DQ victory. Mikey snuck into the ring with a chair and proceded to smash it against Kenny's back. Mikey then got Johnny to his senses, allowing him to hit Kenny with a Johnny Go Round as he got up. Then Mikey went up top and hit a senton off the top rope, leaving Kenny in pain in the ring yet again. Grade- C- Brock Lesnar makes his way into the ring. Every chance he had, Eugene would cower into the corner away from Lesnar to avoid getting destroyed by the former champ. Lesnar eventually caught Eugene, and it was over from there. After a series of very devestating moves, Lesnar lifted Eugene up and dropped him with the F5, gaining another victory headed to Survivor Series. He stands over Eugene and looks into the camera, he says that since he can't get his hands on Cena, that this is going to have to do for now. He then lifted Eugene up again and F5'd him. Lesnar then started walking to the back, but thought better of it and headed back towards the ring, but first he stopped and grabbed a table from under the ring. Lesnar sat up the ring, and as he lifted Eugene up on his shoulders, John Cena suprisingly came running into the ring with a steel chair, sending Lesnar out of the ring, and the two men exchanged words as the commercial came on. He then told Captain Canuck to get out to the ring right now so he can be put in his place. The two competitors then squared off in the ring, and Canuck proceded to wrestle circles around Flair again. This time though Flair was ready, and reached into the bag of tricks and went for the low blow on the Captain, but he had Flair well scouted and caught his arm between his legs, and rolled Flair over into a complicated submission hold, forcing Flair to tap before his arm was snapped. He threw RVD around the ring like a ragdoll, as none of his fast striking moves had any effect on Kane. Both men hit very fast paced offense on each other, and most connected because neither man was that aware of their opponent's repitoir of moves. Edge became frustrated when Sabu began gaining the upper hand on him, and requested that his leading lady, Lita, get him a chair, so he could finish Sabu off. Lita got up on the apron to distract the ref, as Edge seized the chair and charged at Sabu, but Sabu dropkicked Edge in the knee, sending him down, and Edge landed fast first on the chair. Sabu then took the chair, sat it up, and hit the Triple Jump Moonsault, and got a shocking victory over the WWE Champion. Raw then goes off the air with Sabu holding the chair pointing to the sky, in the middle of the enemies own ring. Winner- Sabu Grade- A+ Overall Grade- A

From Gerweck.net
Be sure to tune into ECW on Sci Fi this week. ECW returns to Hammerstein Ballroom, and brings a monumental main event with it. The ECW World Heavyweight Champion, The Big Show, will defend his title against ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer. Will Big Show continue his dominance of the ECW roster, or will Dreamer shock the world with an upset victory? Also, last night on Raw, Smackdown's World Heavyweight Champion, King Booker announced that he is going to take on Sabu in one-on-one action. Speaking of Sabu, he gave ECW a huge shot of confidence over WWE with the victory over Edge on Raw. Can he beat two World Champions in two nights? Tune in to see the answers to these questions and much more.
Heyman tells all the fans that ECW will prove why they are so extreme at Survivor Series. He tells them that ECW is going nowhere, and you can look for them on Pay-Per-View after Survivor Series, and expect an influx of new extremist that will make ECW the number one brand in the entire world. Grade- A vs. This was the second night in a row that Sabu takes on a World Champion. Last night he defeated Edge, now tonight he goes one on one with King Booker. Booker looked totally out of his element, as the infamously loud Hammerstein fans let Smackdown's World Champion hear it, not letting him get into the match fully. Eventually King Booker used his undeniabaly great in ring skills to gain an advantage, and he hit Sabu with the Scissors Kick, and pinned Sabu, but at the last second Paul Heyman ran out and pulled the ref out of the ring, and threw Sabu a chair. Sabu used it on Booker, then hit him with an Arabian Facebuster as another ref came out and counted the 1-2-3. Winner- Sabu Grade- B+ After the match the fans start a Sabu chant, as Sabu stands tall in the middle of the ring, pointing to the sky, proud that in two nights, he has beaten two champions. He says that he loves wrestling in this building because it is like no other, the crowd is just electrifying and keeps him going through anything. He then says that he is facing a former ECW fan favorite tonight, Simon Dean. He crowd then boos very loudly as they remember Dean as bWo memeber, Nova. Punk then tells Dean to get his blue tail out here so he can kick it. Grade- C+ vs. As Simon Dean rode out to the ring on his Dean Machine, the Hammerstein fans chanted at him, "Where is Nova?" over and over. Dean then put his fingers in his ears to try and drown the crowd, yelling at them that he had no clue who this Nova they were talking about was. The more he denied it the louder the fans chanted at him. When he stepped in the ring he was more worried about the crowd than CM Punk, which was a fatal mistake as almost instantly, Punk hit the Eurenagi, then locked in the Anaconda Vice, forcing the fitness guru to tap out. But he says what he is looking forward to is the next match, where himself and RVD will take on Mike Knox and Test in an Extreme Rules tag match. There were plenty of weapons used, and Sandman did not part with his faithful Singapore Cane the entire time, and he cracked skulls with it the whole match. The finish came when RVD and Sandman threw Test out of the ring, then Sandman hit Knox with a White Russian Legsweep, which allowed RVD to hit him with the Five Star Frog Splash for the victory. The Big Show had other ideas though, as he shrugged off a couple of Dreamer attacks, and began simply dominating Dreamer, imposing his will on him, and using the only weapons he needs, he bare hands. Show then locked the Cobra Clutch on Dreamer, then dropped him down with the Cobra Clutch Backbreaker, then pinned Dreamer, put got off of him before the three was counted, saying he wasn't done with him yet. Show then went and got a chair and layed it on the mat, and grabbed Dreamer by the throat, and hoisted him up for the Chokeslam, and as he brought him down, Dreamer grabbed Show's head and spiked the big man's cranium right into the steel chair with a sickening thud. Dreamer then pinned Show and got the 1-2-3! ECW goes off the air with the crowd jumping the guardrail and surrounding the ring, lifting Tommy Dreamer on their shoulders as he holds the ECW World Championship high in the air.
