This in no way reflects real life and the characters inside are purely caricatures of the people they represent. He sat on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands as it finally sank in that his entire world had come crashing down around him. He’d lost his job, his family and his passion for life all over some stupid fling. As he strayed to the bathroom of his hotel room, he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. Angry with what he saw, a snarl arose upon his face. He hated what he’d done and what he’d become. He threw water over his face in an attempt to wash away his guilt. He cursed the girl who lay in the hotel bed just the other side of the wall, then instantly bit his tongue in remorse. He liked this girl a lot and she was the only thing keeping him sane in his crumbling world. Long times on the road make you vulnerable and if you give in to temptation, your whole world can be flipped upside down in an instant. The man had given in to his temptations and the girl, Kelly, was proof of this. And so here he stood, in a grimy hotel bathroom all because of a mistake. As he retired to his bed, he noted the time as five in the morning. Damn that’s late, he thought. A long night of heavy drinking had preceded the remorseful and depressing hotel scene and he had long lost track of the time. As his eyelids began to flicker, the image of his eight-month old baby girl came to his mind as well as the thoughts of how he had betrayed her as well as his wife. His mind lingered on his wife- she had held the power that he so craved. With her by his side, he could do whatever he wanted, and could beat who he wanted, when he wanted. Hell, you don’t believe him, just ask his former colleagues. But the fact remained that he doesn’t, and never truly did, love his wife. He loved the power that she held. It was never his intention to get caught in the act, especially with Kelly, as it had resulted in her dismissal as well. The two travelled together and when suspicions were risen, the powerful wife asked her billionaire father to have them followed. And in one fateful moment, all the power that he desired was gone.

One week later... He looked into the mirror once again. Not a lot had changed for him as he was stuck in the moment. He was incapable of moving on and persisted in torturing himself over the mistake. He glared at his unshaven face and a snarl arose upon his face once more. Little did he know but his life was set to take another twist. It started with a phone call. “Hello, who is this” the man said apathetically. “Hey man, it’s Shawn.” Shawn. His friend hadn’t forgotten about him. “Have you seen the news today? I bet it’ll make you slightly happier.” This time he uttered with even less enthusiasm, simply “No.” “Well sit tight. I’ll come over and give you the details.” A short while later, he heard a rap on his hotel room door. He was greeted not only by Shawn, but another man also. This man was one he greatly admired and saw it as an enormous privilege and honour to be regarded as his friend. Standing to the left of his best friend was none other than the ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair. “Hey champ, have we got great news for you! Woo!” (Yes, I'm convinced he does that in everyday life too!) The two went about explaining the situation that they were in and were set to deliver the bombshell. “So we weren’t happy that you were fired, and we told them that it’s all for one and one for all. You either keep all of us, or ya get none of us!” Shawn explained.“So we bought out our contracts with the WWE. We’re free agents now too.” The man was overwhelmed by the show of loyalty by his two friends, but failed to see what the act would achieve. “So it’s off to TNA for you now, huh?” he said with clear disdain in his voice. Shawn stated “No. We thought we‘d compete with those in Stamford right now, the three of us. We know everything there is to know about this business so we thought... “That we should start our own promotion?” “Exactly. But this project would have a much bigger impact if the figurehead was the man they fired...” He smiled thoughtfully. Ric and Shawn always came through for him. And so that was the beginning of what would be dubbed King of Kings Wrestling. It seems that for Jean Paul Levesque, the game had just begun...

Thanks for the support peeps - it's much appreciated! juggaloninjalee, The idea is basically a 'what if...' situation and I'm surprised it's not already been done. The next post might be quite a long one as it will be the current wrestling climate - that is current in terms of the story. I hope to have it up by the end of the night - just needs a bit of tweaking Once again, the support is much appreciated and I hope you'll all stick with it

This is a long post but please bear with it A short while later... Triple H sat at his hotel table and sipped at his coffee. He had become a new man since the first meeting of the three legends. The possible revival of his currently stagnant career and tarnished reputation filled him with excitement and hope. He looked eager and refreshed once more. Also sat around the table were Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. Hunter had called the meeting to survey and discuss the current wrestling climate so that King of Kings Wrestling could become a reality. So motivated by the upcoming project, Hunter had printed out some documents he had composed which would form as the main talking points and agenda for the meeting. The first document was headed ‘The State of the WWE’. The State of the WWE Raw With three major stars in the three of us missing from the show, Raw was left with a hole in their talent roster. The main discussion point here lays with the WWE heavyweight championship. ‘The Samoan Bulldozer’, Umaga, in the midst of a monster push, received the title having beaten John Cena at the Royal Rumble. Umaga remains unbeaten since his debut and is the current champion having defeated Kane most recently at Wrestlemania in a dire match. The title change at the Rumble was more significant for a different reason, though. Having had problems with his push and then refusing to sign a mew contract with TNA, ‘The Alpha Male’ Monty Brown cost Cena the match in a shocking debut. Brown and Cena feuded all the way up to ‘Mania and look to continue it through to the Summer. Edge has been stuck without a programme and has drifted between feuds with Jeff Hardy and Carlito. The ‘Rated R Superstar’ remains under-utilised, something which can also be said about talents Carlito and Shelton Benjamin. Lower down the card, Mickie James is champion of an empty women’s division, while Cryme Tyme picked up the Tag titles and are currently embroiled in a feud with the fresh, new team of Harry Smith and TJ Wilson - known as Canadian Stampede. In other Raw issues, the Spirit Squad has been split up with Kenny becoming the most successful, and is enjoying a face run as IC champion. He is also involved in a decent romance storyline with real-life girlfriend Mickie James. In Summary: - WWE Champion: Umaga - Intercontinental Champion: Kenny Doane - Raw Tag Team Champions: Cryme Tyme - Women’s Champion: Mickie James Top Stars: John Cena, Umaga, Edge, Monty Brown, Jeff Hardy Rising Stars: Harry Smith, Johnny Nitro, Braddock, Kenny Doane, Carlito Smackdown! Smackdown! has amazingly turned the tables on Raw and have now become the flagship WWE programme. The returns of Mark Henry and Chris Benoit have had significant impact on the show. Henry returned at Armageddon, much earlier than expected, and destroyed the World Heavyweight champion, Batista, who had just beaten King Booker for the strap. Henry went on to win the title from Batista at No Way Out, setting up a match between him and Lashley, the winner of the Royal Rumble, at Wrestlemania. Lashley, riding a huge wave of momentum, won the title and has become arguably the biggest star in the WWE. The seeds have been planted for a Batista-Lashley feud, with Big Dave looking to turn heel through jealousy of Lashley‘s success. In other notes, Kennedy’s push has continued, though nothing has really been given to him, as far as decent match-ups or feuds. Kennedy looks to being groomed for a series with Lashley somewhere down the line, however. Too Cool has reunited with the resigning (again) of Brian Christopher. In addition to GMS and Scotty 2 Hotty in the group, another big signing from TNA was made. Much like Monty Brown, Ron ‘The Truth’ Killings had become disillusioned with his role in TNA and had demanded his release as early as August 2006. Finally given the release in December, Killings signed with WWE, who put him on the blue brand in the Too Cool faction. Killings would work in the US division while his team-mates would capture tag gold. The US division has been made interesting by the arrival of Montel Vontavious Porter to the division. MVP, having ‘signed’ officially amid much delay in September 2006, consistently became the most entertaining and original member of the Smackdown! roster. The initial large push received credibility, resulting in WWE management stepping it up to a mega-push and MVP has become a major star on the show. In Summary: - World Heavyweight Champion: Lashley - United States Champion: Montel Vontavious Porter - Smackdown! Tag Team Champions: Too Cool - Cruiserweight Champion: Gregory Helms Top Stars: Lashley, Batista, Mark Henry, King Booker, Randy Orton Rising Stars: MVP, Ron Killings, Kennedy, The Miz, Sylvester Terkay Others: Rey Mysterio (Expected back from knee surgery soon) ECW RVD regained the ECW World title at December to Dismember, defeating the Big Show. Went on to defend the title against Sabu at Wrestlemania and is being put into a feud against the heavily-pushed Test. Mike Knox’s push has stalled since the dismissal of Kelly Kelly. Finally, CM Punk continues to be built up well, despite not being able to work properly in my opinion. The State of TNA TNA is red-hot. With Kurt Angle at the helm as NWA Heavyweight champion, and a primetime TV slot, TNA is looking like becoming genuine competition for the WWE. Angle beat Jarrett for the title before the end of 2006, and they have slowly been building up a dream match between Angle and Samoa Joe, who is still undefeated. Christian Cage is going strong in the upper tier, while developing his in-ring skills to fit in with the TNA style. The Latin American Xchange, a promising heel group, have been almost ruined due to Jeff Jarrett seeing them as a threat to his position as top heel. Sting was forced into retirement after losing to Jarrett at Bound For Glory, but remember, this is wrestling so he was back a short while later tormenting Jeff Jarrett from the rafters. Many of the X division stars still lack personality, hence the decision for TNA to award the belt to Eric Young. Workers such as Alex Shelley and Austin Starr remain under-appreciated, in favour of workers such as Scott Steiner and the James Gang. The promotion is pulling strong reactions and ratings and is going from strength to strength. In Summary: - NWA World Heavyweight Champion: Kurt Angle - X Division Champion: Eric Young - NWA World Tag Team Champions: Team 3D Top Stars: Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Christian Cage Rising Stars: Austin Starr, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Eric Young, Petey Williams ***** The three discussed the current situations of the top two promotions outlined in the reports. For hours they tried to come up with the best possible roster. With the power and connections the three had, it seemed that they had the ability to pull any big names they wanted. While this was particularly attractive for making a quick buck, Michaels especially was adamant in that they needed to create their own stars; so as to present a freshness that the wrestling world perhaps lacked. Michaels also persuaded the two that they needed to look at the new generation of professional wrestlers, and that a roster full of ‘big men’ wasn’t acceptable in this day and age. After around 2 to 3 hours of long deliberation, they had a shortlist of workers who they wished to bring in. The three speculated on what lay ahead of them; their plan of wrestling domination may be coming to fruition.

This has really sparked my attention. At first, I figured they'd jump to TNA, but now that I see they are starting their own promotion I just want to see what type of stars you sign. However, if you stick with ALL rising stars there will most likely be nobody to keeo populairty and such.

He sat alone in his office, watching as the rain washed over the glass windows that separated him from the outside world. The fury that was inside him burned away at his soul, yet he had to mask this anger within his business life. After all, showing emotion didn’t make him the success that he is today. A multi-billion corporation was what he had to show for over 20 years of solid, hard work. While his life revolved essentially around his business life, his anger did not originate purely from that arena. He had been betrayed. Betrayed by someone he had once considered a family member and a friend. One of the other most important aspects of his life along with his business, his daughter, had been severely harmed by this betrayal. The actions of this traitor were a clear show of disrespect for him, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, the man who made this turncoat into a global superstar, dammit! Blinded by rage, Vince had kicked the man out of his company and good riddance, he had thought. But after some reflection, he realised his actions had been rash and perhaps a mistake. He could have ruined this man’s career and reputation by retaining his services, yet he’d dealt the man known as Triple H a get out of jail free card. With this momentary lapse of judgement, a revolution of sorts was seemingly taking shape. Two of his other main attractions decided to support the traitor. News had reached him that it was their intention to create their own promotion and lead it into direct competition with his federation. At first, Vince had scoffed at the idea. After all, he was the great Vince McMahon! He had single-handedly killed off the territorial system in America, and later annihilated his main competition, World Championship Wrestling, and questioned why this upstart would be any different. Then he came to realise that unlike his previous competition, the three defectors knew precisely what they were doing. While the previous threats to his monopoly had their flaws, there seemed to be few in this new project. The three had plenty of money and experience to become a bona fide threat to his company. The three also harboured the star power to make them an instant smash hit. One thing was clear: this upstart promotion could not be ignored. And so here he sat, alone in his office, watching the rain rise and wash away on the window once more. He knew he was going to have to go to war once more.

These reports will cover the latest and most pressing news in the wrestling world, as well as the greatest stars in the world, brought to you by KOKW. As the new kid on the block, I am very much looking forward to our network debut on Spike! I have been hired by this company as not only the website editor, but the on-air announcer as well. I am looking forward to this with a distinct feeling of sickness in my gut. After all, live TV is going to be very hard work. On the bright side, I am looking forward to being a part of this revolution. Now, on to the task at hand. My job today and for the coming days is to announce the exciting roster being built up by this federation. First of all, we will examine the ‘Power Trio’, as they’ve been dubbed, the force behind this company.
