I am the former head booker of TCW. I helped them rise to the top once again. They were competing with Danger and Violence Extreme for the 2nd spot in America when I took over. I was employed from early 2005 until December 23, 2006 by Tommy Cornell. When I left the battle between TCW and SWF was going strong. I convince Tommy to fight back and steal talent from SWF. We also developed guys from the independant scene as well. I helped them turn Rich Money into a main eventer and helped them steal Nemesis from DaVE. We stole Bart Biggz, and Texas Pete. Tommy Cornell maintained his own personal dominance over the world title but many contenders came up the ranks. Then one day I thought to myself why not try to form my own promotion and battle the elite. I had the money saved up and I had a knack for turning a promotion into a gold mine. I sat down with Tommy Cornell and discussed my future. We ended things on good terms and he understood that I needed to do my own business venture. I announced that Overdose Wrestling was officially open and that I was the owner. I started the promotion with $250,000. In early January I did some traveling and scouting. I was enjoying my freedom and picked up an independent wrestling magazine. It covered all areas of the world. It had Japan, the UK, Canada, Mexico, and the US. I looked through it for familiar faces and noted some of the names in my planner that I always carry around with me. Overdose On This. The company was rustyrings.com. They just wanted their website to be displayed on the ring apron, entrance ramp, and some minor plugs during the show. I was cool with that. Who wouldn't be considering they offered us the ring, entrance set, and $750,000 up front for 1 year of sponsorship. So now that I had the money I needed to use my contacts to hire some workers. I brought in an old big guy named Beef that I was using in TCW. I also brought in Big Richard, and Billion Dollar Ben. Those guys were with me since my small promotion in Michigan back in 1998. CX Shooter came to ODW from TCW as well. Those were the guys I had a history with that I hired. Over time I managed to hire Wolverine, Dread, Teddy Powell, Wolf Hawkins, Steve Flash, The Stomper, Insane Machine, American Machine, Raymond Diaz, Nate Johnson, Bobby Thomas, Sammy the Shark, etc. etc. Our first few shows were rocky but we managed to turn a profit. We now have 2.6 million dollars. It is mid April and we have surpassed our goals so far. We are battling with DaVE for the #3 promotion in the USA right now and have a slight edge. His street clothes are nice though. He is wearing a silk shirt and some dress pants. He is handed a microphone by a staff member as he paces back to the middle of the ring. [I]Hayes: So this is Massachusettes? I must admit this crowd is lame![/I] A small amount of boos come from the crowd. [I]Hayes: Hey don't get mad at me I am just keeping it real. I just tell it how it is.[/I] Hayes pauses for a moment. He smiles at the crowd in a ****y manner. [I]Hayes: Tonight is my big announcement. You all have been waiting for it. Well my announcement is that I have a new weekly show called "Keeping It Real with William Hayes." Isn't that great? Tonight is the very first episode. My first guest is a great wrestler who comes from some stupid Spanish place and his last name is Perez I think. Let me check my notes.[/I] William pulls out some cards from bis back pocket and nods. [I]Hayes: Yes it is Perez. Frankie Perez to be exact.[/I] Hayes then rolls out of the ring and looks underneath the ring. He grabs something and gets back into the ring. He props it up and it is a cut out of Frankie Perez in a wrestling promo stance. [I]Hayes: See Perez I have been looking for a valuable opponent here in ODW and you seem to fit the bill nicely. I needed a guy who could take me to the limits. I needed a guy who was bigger, stronger, and faster than me. I needed someone who could propel me to the top when I beat them and... well you just aren't it. That is ok though. Don't get upset.[/I] Hayes backs up from the cut out. [I]Hayes: Hey why are you looking at me like that. You look intimidating when you get into the ready position. It is ok you have a future in wrestling no doubt. You have so much potential to be around this business for a long time. You could wrestle midgets for instance and you could be the heavyweight champion of the midget division. Perez grabbed the cut out and tossed it into the crowd. He was steaming mad. Hayes turned to the crowd and mocked them. Perez took the chance to do a suicide dive onto William Hayes. Teddy Powell in recent weeks has been beating everyone in his path so I have decided to make things interesting. Starting next week we will begin the #1 contenders tournament. Whoever wins this tournament will also get to name the stipulations for their World Title Match at our next big PPV titled... "Scars are Forever." Also after what just happed I would like to make our first match for that card with Frankie Perez facing William Hayes.[/I] The crowd applauds and gives a decent pop. [I]TP: Back to the Title Tournament though. Next week we will see BJ Shearer vs Kentucky Bill and we will also see Joe Hill vs Dark Lotus. The crowd was heavily dissappointed because Harry Wilson and Deano Machine are being billed by ODW as huge stars here. Harry Wilson had the advantage early but when Harry missed a cross body block off the top rope the momentum shifted. Deano applied a fujiwara armbar which kept the pace slow. Later in the match Deano was still dominating and was setting up Harry for the powerbomb. He shoved Harrys head between his legs when Dermot O'Logical(one of Wilson's cronies) distracted the referee. Harry was then tossed aside and Deano Machino grabbed Dermot. Harry Wilson hit a low blow on Deano. Duane Fry was going crazy on the headset. [I]Fry: This is not fair I can't believe this is happening. Harry has stolen match after match this way here in ODW.[/I] [I]Freebush: The ref didn't see it Fry. Something needs to be done about this.[/I] The ref didn't see it because he was between Dermot and Deano on the ropes. Harry Wilson applied the full bodylock getting Deano to tap out. Harry got on the apron distracting the referee early on. Harry tossed some brass knucks to Dermot who hit Human Arsenal with them. It appeared as though he was out. He was bleeding that was for sure. [I]Freebush: Harry is now helping Dermot win his match this is a disgrace.[/I] The ref turned around and noticed the pin. He began the 3 count but Human Arsenal kicked out. Then out came Deano Machino and chased Harry away. Human Arsenal was down when Dermot O'Logical got up and tried to bounce off the ropes. Deano tripped him. Why is it that when you jumped to ODW from TCW I followed? It is a simple question with a simple answer. WE HAD UNFINISHED BUSINESS! I got the dark matches while you got television time. I have good reason to believe that I am better than you. Lucky for you though I got a shot in the World Title Tournament. Insane Machine was a monster and hit a brutal lariat which nearly decapitated Wolf Hawkins. Insane Machine then hit the Cyberplex after a short eight minutes to pick up the pinfall. After the match Insane Machine went to each corner and headbutted the corner pads going nuts. Harry got on the apron distracting the referee early on. Harry tossed some brass knucks to Dermot who hit Human Arsenal with them. It appeared as though he was out. He was bleeding that was for sure. [I]Freebush: Harry is now helping Dermot win his match this is a disgrace.[/I] The ref turned around and noticed the pin. He began the 3 count but Human Arsenal kicked out. Then out came Deano Machino and chased Harry away. Human Arsenal was down when Dermot O'Logical got up and tried to bounce off the ropes. Deano tripped him. Dermot got up and began verbal sparring Deano. Dermot turned around to refocus on Human Arsenal only to be put into the lifting armlock. [I]Fry: Deano has got revenge on Dermot. I bet Deano feels satisfied now.[/I] Dermot gave up and Human Arsenal won. Harry Wilson came back out and hit Deano with a chair. Dermot and Deano began doubling up on Deano. Why is it that when you jumped to ODW from TCW I followed? It is a simple question with a simple answer. WE HAD UNFINISHED BUSINESS! Everyone said you were so talented and that well... you were the future of this business. I on the other hand just got rejected. You got the spotlight while I was curtain jerking most of the time. I got the dark matches while you got television time. I have good reason to believe that I am better than you. Lucky for you though I got a shot in the World Title Tournament. This will be my chance to shine. He gained a quick upper hand which was halted easily. The Insane Machine didn't seemed phased by any of Wolfs attacks. He battled back hard every time Wolf managed to get any offense in. Insane Machine was a monster and hit a brutal lariat which nearly decapitated Wolf Hawkins. Insane Machine then hit the Cyberplex after a short eight minutes to pick up the pinfall. After the match Insane Machine went to each corner and headbutted the corner pads going nuts. [*]TP on the big screen and then BLZ Bubb rushing in to threaten him. [*]Dermot O'Logical helping Harry Wilson beat Deano Machino. [*]Harry helping Dermot beat Human Arsenal. [*]Big Bank issuing an open challenge. [*]Dark Lotus sitting in a corner. [*]Then to end it Insane Machine beating Wolf Hawkins and walking up the entry ramp all fired up. [/LIST] It is then followed up by the introduction video to Overdose on This. He looks like he is dressed to impress the crowd tonight. He stops before he walks up to the steps at ringside and slowly turns to look at the whole crowd. He grins like he has a trick up his sleeve before beginning to enter the ring. The set in the ring has 3 chairs and a desk seperating 2 from the 1 chair. [I]Hayes: Wow another amazing (cheers)...ly crappy crowd. My guests tonight are two men who are both of Mexican ethnicity... they are Raymond Diaz and Leonardo Cortes. What? It is true I am just telling it how it is. Ask them they are Mexican.[/I] The crowd boos in some parts. Raymond Diaz and Leonardo Cortes come out one shortly after the other. They both slowly entered the ring and looked mad at Hayes. [I]Hayes: Have a seat gentleman. Sorry about this terrible crowd. So what is it like being from Mexico?[/I] [I]Cortes: Well hombre it isn't bad. Not as bad as you are trying to make it sound. Wrestling is cherrished down there and is something that is considered an art. Fans treat the wrestlers like celebrities unlike up here. Wrestlers are looked down upon in society in the states.[/I] [I]Hayes: That is nice Cortes that you enjoy your country so much. One thing you can't deny is that Mexico is a really poor dirty country correct?[/I] [I]Cortes: Well no it is poor but...[/I] [I]Hayes: See you heard it right there![/I] With that said Cortes got out of his seat. Diaz grabbed him and held him back. Diaz then turned slightly so he was facing Hayes. He then nailed Cortes with a vicious lariat. Hayes came around the table and the began stomping on Cortes. Then Perez ran down to the ring. He had tight black pants that had a new logo on the side of them. On top of the logo it said Freek Energy. He got in the ring and began stretching. Then Kentucky Bill came out with a logo on the screen that looked like the Kentucky Fried Chicken Logo. He was jumping up and down getting pumped up for his match. He was trying to get the fans support but they just weren't into him. Kentucky tried to hit a dropkick on BJ to start the match but BJ blocked it. BJ man handled Bill throughout the whole match. At one point though Bill slipped out of a powerbomb and tried to hit the German Suplex(his finisher) but couldn't muscle BJ over. BJ got out of it by hitting a big spinning forearm smash. Bill went down and began bleeding from the nose and mouth. They stand in the ring when Ben grabs a microphone after a long wait. [I]Ben: So who has accepted our challenge? We are waiting for one courageous group to come out and man up. Anyone? Well we were right all of you in the back are cowards. Fine then next week the same challenge is out and we will be here again.[/I] With that said Big Banks music hit and they left the ring. 4/5 stars [CENTER][IMG]http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j231/bsumystic/JoeyPoison.jpg[/IMG] VS NO PICTURE [B]Joe Hill vs Dark Lotus Round 1 Tournament Match[/B][/CENTER] Dark Lotus came out with his dark music and lighting. When he got in the ring he sorta just leaned over the ropes to watch Joe Hill come out. Then Joe Hills music hit. He had his hair dyed. He had a serious look on his face though and was ready to go. This was a great technical, and high flying match. These two men really left it all in the ring. Dark Lotus began the match in trouble but used an eye rake to swing the tide. They were both pretty evenly matched with Dark Lotus occasionally gaining the momentum but in the end Joe Hill was really working over Dark Lotus. He had Lotus in the corner and was signalling for the fallaway slam. He grabbed him but Lotus grabbed the ropes and kicked himself free. Then Dark Lotus delivered a beautiful roundhouse kick knocking Hill down. [I]Freebush: This could be it! Look at Dark Lotus leap. Fry: Joe Hill was caught with that kick and he could lose it right here.[/I] Dark Lotus did a leap to the top rope and came off with what looked like a cannonball which he called the Lotus Pod. Then Deano Machino came out by himself. Human Arsenal was the last one out to his own music. Deano and Arsenal both wanted to start the match off. Harry made Dermot start the match for their team. Deano began the match and started working over Dermot. He tagged Arsenal in and they used some good team work early on taking out their frustrations on Dermot O'Logical. Mid match Deano had Dermot in a triangle choke. Harry ran in and knocked Arsenal off of the apron before dropkicking Deano on the return off the ropes into his face. Harry pulled Dermot over to the corner and got on the apron. Dermot made the tag and Harry quickly went to work on Deano. Shortly after this Dermot tried to come in the ring and the ref tried to force him out. Harry reached into his boot and pulled out some brass knuckles. He hit Arsenal on the apron again knocking him out cold and then hit Deano a few times before tossing them outside of the ring. He applied the full body lock and Dermot let the ref turn around to see an unconscious Deano Machino. The ref quickly called for the bell awarding the win to Harry and Dermot who administered a beating on Deano in the ring. [I]Fry: This is not the end of this by a long shot! Freebush: This is just terrible! These two cheat week in and week out. He was wearing red shorts to match his hair and contacts. They had black trim on the bottom and top. On the side it said Monster Energy. (One could only assume this has to do with BJs shorts). Then Teddy Powell came out to his high energy music with the title on his shoulder. He went to each side of the stage and held the title up for the crowd to see and take pictures before going down to the ring and entering. Bubb attacked early. Bubb had an advantage but starting gloating. He then sent Powell to the ropes and missed a big boot. Powell turned around and hit a nice dropkick wobbling Bubb. He then ran to the ropes and clipped Bubb from behind. He got up as fast as possible and leaped to the top rope. He came off with the full flip legdrop. He quickly made the cover and got the three count. Bubb got up furious saying he kicked out. BLZ Bubb attacked referee Ric Young and then attacked Teddy Powell. Powell managed to slip away when Bubb was attempting a choke slam though. Flash won with a figure four. Sheik Mustafa over Captain USA This match was dull but the fans loved it. It was classic heel vs face and it generated decent pops. [I]Hayes: Wow another amazing (cheers)...ly crappy crowd. My guests tonight are two men who are both of Mexican ethnicity... they are Raymond Diaz and Leonardo Cortes. What? It is true I am just telling it how it is. Ask them they are Mexican.[/I] The crowd boos in some parts. Raymond Diaz and Leonardo Cortes come out one shortly after the other. They both slowly entered the ring and looked mad at Hayes. [I]Hayes: Have a seat gentleman. Sorry about this terrible crowd. So what is it like being from Mexico?[/I] [I]Cortes: Well hombre it isn't bad. Not as bad as you are trying to make it sound. Wrestling is cherrished down there and is something that is considered an art. Fans treat the wrestlers like celebrities unlike up here. He had tight black pants that had a new logo on the side of them. On top of the logo it said Freek Energy. He got in the ring and began stretching. Then Kentucky Bill came out with a logo on the screen that looked like the Kentucky Fried Chicken Logo. He was jumping up and down getting pumped up for his match. He was trying to get the fans support but they just weren't into him. Kentucky tried to hit a dropkick on BJ to start the match but BJ blocked it. BJ man handled Bill throughout the whole match. At one point though Bill slipped out of a powerbomb and tried to hit the German Suplex(his finisher) but couldn't muscle BJ over. BJ got out of it by hitting a big spinning forearm smash. Bill went down and began bleeding from the nose and mouth. When he got in the ring he sorta just leaned over the ropes to watch Joe Hill come out. Then Joe Hills music hit. He had his hair dyed. He had a serious look on his face though and was ready to go. This was a great technical, and high flying match. These two men really left it all in the ring. Dark Lotus began the match in trouble but used an eye rake to swing the tide. They were both pretty evenly matched with Dark Lotus occasionally gaining the momentum but in the end Joe Hill was really working over Dark Lotus. He had Lotus in the corner and was signalling for the fallaway slam. He grabbed him but Lotus grabbed the ropes and kicked himself free. Then Dark Lotus delivered a beautiful roundhouse kick knocking Hill down. [I]Freebush: This could be it! Look at Dark Lotus leap. Fry: Joe Hill was caught with that kick and he could lose it right here.[/I] Dark Lotus did a leap to the top rope and came off with what looked like a cannonball which he called the Lotus Pod. Then Deano Machino came out by himself. Human Arsenal was the last one out to his own music. Deano and Arsenal both wanted to start the match off. Harry made Dermot start the match for their team. Deano began the match and started working over Dermot. He tagged Arsenal in and they used some good team work early on taking out their frustrations on Dermot O'Logical. Mid match Deano had Dermot in a triangle choke. Harry ran in and knocked Arsenal off of the apron before dropkicking Deano on the return off the ropes into his face. Harry pulled Dermot over to the corner and got on the apron. Dermot made the tag and Harry quickly went to work on Deano. Shortly after this Dermot tried to come in the ring and the ref tried to force him out. Harry reached into his boot and pulled out some brass knuckles. He hit Arsenal on the apron again knocking him out cold and then hit Deano a few times before tossing them outside of the ring. He applied the full body lock and Dermot let the ref turn around to see an unconscious Deano Machino. The ref quickly called for the bell awarding the win to Harry and Dermot who administered a beating on Deano in the ring. [I]Fry: This is not the end of this by a long shot!
