I have Ripper LeStat on an Exclusive PPA with MOSC, but he just signed a PPA with 21CW. I thought exclusive PPA meant he could only appear on my show during the contract. D-Lyrium Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 When he signed with 21CW, did he stay with your promotion, or leave you? If he stayed, it's a bug. Exclusive PPA means that you won't share him with anyone else. He can still join other promotions if he wants to, but if he does so he has to leave yours. They don't really work very well if you're a small promotion, because he'll want to join larger promotions anyway. Or, not larger per se, but "more" promotions. Someone who's midcarding Indy feds will want to be working as many as they can, because they don't earn enough in the midcard (or even the main event) to warrant staying exclusive to one fed when they can get three times the money working for three feds. Ex-PPA is most useful for "legends" type deals in larger promotions, where you want a worker to be exclusive to you, but don't want to use him very often (and thus don't want to pay him monthly wages if he's only working a show or two). Or if you're larger than most promotions, and want him to be exclusive to you but can't get him to sign a written deal. The idea being that he won't want to leave you to join someone smaller and lose his spot on your roster. But since you're MoSC, losing his spot on your roster is no biggie in the grand scheme of things, you were only paying him is bus fare anyway :p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Apparently I misinterpreted what Exclusice PPA meant... i assumed (wrongly) that it meant he could only appear with my promotion. I don't remember this happening in TEW2005... oh well thanks.
