Akki
Maybe this is just 1.3, but I noticed that big-time departures aren't being reported on the internet. I'm playing the Montreal Aftermath scenario, and in February, Owen Hart left the WWF and not so much as a mention. Now, same month, two weeks later, Super Crazy leaves them. I get why he might not get a write-up, but on the same day, Ric Flair left WCW. I figured this would be the top story on the internet. But no. I'm sure that if anyone signs him, it would be a headline, so why not leaving?
The-619
I noticed that when Super Crazy left WWF in Montreal Aftermath also it didn't note it on the internet and if it did then I must of missed it but I don't think I did.
HAHJRB
I had Sean McFly leave NOTBPW and didn't get any mention. I'm MAW at Regional level so it did not really matter to me.
wooodaddy
^^^^ yeah, it's not like anyone would want to sign with small fed anyway, so I can't really get too excited for someone leaving a big promotion...
Akki
Hey, I'm at regional too. I just think that after reporting that he WOULD re-sign, it would be headline news when he DIDN'T. Edit: As I predicted, it was the top story when Flair did sign with NJPW.
Monkeypox
If this is a chronic problem, someone should plug it into tech support - it's a bug, most likely, since it screws up game balance by precluding the option of resigning. I haven't had it happen, but I may not have noticed if/when it did, hence the problem.
flamebrain
Has it been stated that the game prioritises news? I thought it would just give a random slice of events that took place that day. If so then it just so happened that these exits weren't selected.
Rocland
I've been wondering, I read about other promotions title changes, people leaving etc. But I've never seen a title change in my promotion reported on the internet. Also other cards it gives the Wrestler of the Night, but not with your own promotion?
PoisonedSuperman
Because you know who won the titles with your promotion and you always know who had the best match.
D-Lyrium
You don't always know who was the MVP though. Sure, you know which match was best, but you don't know who PERFORMED best. Rhino Umaga getting a C rating out of a green lump of muscle would make him far more of an MVP than Musashibo and Inukai putting on yet another A-rated match. And besides, who cares if you know? The Internet isn't tailored to your every need. News about WWE doesn't dissapear from websites when Vince looks at them :p

I guess the point of the internet feature it to know whats going on in other promotions. But I thought in the older EWR games, the internet also reported on your federation as much as the other's.
