The match was an evenly fought contest between the remarkably exciting superstars. The Rock looked like he had it won as he was gearing up for the People’s Elbow but before he could unleash the most electrifying move on Austin, Triple H hit him on the back with a brutal steel chair shot. Triple H then turned The Rock round and pedigreed him on the canvas. With The Rock lying in the middle of the ring lifeless Triple H dragged Austin onto him and the referee counted down for 3. After this Triple H and Austin had an intense stare down and Triple H motioned around his waist telling Austin that he wanted the title. What will happen between these two when they have to team against the Tag Team champs in a non title match tonight? Kane put his Intercontinental Title on the line last night against Rikishi and was able to get the better of him after an impressive chokeslam. Will a new challenge emerge for Kane’s Title tonight on Raw? Also last night at Backlash the WWF Commissioner William Regal told the Undertaker that his decade of destruction will come to an end soon because his is going to make Undertaker’s life a living hell starting tonight on Monday Night Raw. Kurt Angle started to get the better of Snow around the 10 minute mark hitting 5 German Suplex’s in a row and then viciously he grabbed Snow’s ankle and made him tap out almost straight away. After the match he kept the ankle lock for a few more seconds on Snow causing him unbearable pain and nearly snapping his ankle. Jericho and Benoit team very well together as do Triple H and Austin but Austin keeps watching Triple H to make sure he doesn’t turn on him. Benoit and Jericho use their vast knowledge of submission manoeuvres to get control of their rivals. Triple H then runs out of the ring and brags the ring bell. He goes over to Chris Benoit and hits him hard over the head. Austin then approaches Triple H and starts to shout at him. Triple H turns round quickly and levels Austin with the ring bell.
